Can't say enough about this Restaurant. This is "The Spago", the best. All entrees are mouth watering, but make sure you leave room for their excellent desserts, which are to die for.




The food at Spago is very good. The standouts were the Alaskan Halibut entree, the austrian chicken boullion first course, and the beet layer cake first course. I also enjoyed the raspberry chocolate souffle as well.
The decor was ok, though it got really loud and difficult to talk to people more than one seat away. I guess that's what happens at a popular restaurant, though for a wedding I prefer a quiet and more elegant setting.
The service was fine, though not as attentive as some of the places I've been to in San Francisco. Overall, it was a very nice meal, though I admit I came in with high expectations and the expectations were not necessarily met.

Spago Beverly Hills was awarded the 2005 Outstanding Service Award by the James Beard Foundation. In November 2007, The Michelin Guide announced Spago received two stars in the 2008 Los Angeles edition, one of only three restaurants in the city to win this distinction.
