I found Special Touch Events through my best friend Julie who had Jillian (the owner) plan her wedding last summer! Julie hired Special Touch Events for the wedding assistant package to just help her and her fiance along with their planning and she also coordinated the day of their wedding. In a word, the wedding was AMAZING- everything went off without a hitch and it was so nice (especially for Julie, and her personal attendants) not to have to be freaking out all day wondering if this or that was going to get done. Jillian was there the entire day making sure everything went as planned. Since everything was so perfect and I saw how relaxed Julie was on her wedding day, my fiance and I knew we had to have Special Touch Events there helping us out on our wedding day too. So I know I'm giving a "review" and I haven't actually had the service done for our wedding yet, but I've seen Jillian in action and I just trust her so much!

It was such a pleasure working with Jillian & Todd on our wedding. I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding coordinator, they both took care of all of the details on the day of the wedding which really helped me relax and enjoy the day. Their attention to detail and organization was outstanding. Because of them our wedding went off without a hitch. Thank you for all of your help in making my wedding the most amazing day ever.

I'd never heard of Wedding Wire before and wish I had while I was planning my wedding. But I heard about it recently from a friend of mine who is getting married this fall. Since our wedding last month I have been gushing about all of my vendors and they made everything go so great, but most of all I have been raving about my wedding planner- Special Touch Events and owner Jillian who put everything together. My friend told me she saw her listing on here so I thought I should get on here and write a review. Jillian did such a fabulous job, kept in touch with us and was there whenever we needed anything. She helped us pick out our vendors (without her recommendations and information we would have had no idea who was good or not), she helped us tremendously with our budget which was a lot of work and was there on the day of our wedding. It was so nice not having to worry about all the little things and in my opinion Jillian's service to us was priceless! I would recommend her to every bride out there!!!

Jillian helped us with everything we needed! She was so flexible and we still felt like we got to plan own wedding but she was there whenever we needed her advice and help figuring out the budget and all the etiquette issues! Plus she was so helpful the day of our wedding, we didn't have to worry about a thing!

Our packages are highly customizable and we love making a wedding package fit for every unique couple that we work with.

What style of wedding do you specialize in planning?

We've planned weddings of many different styles. From the more traditional weddings where the ceremony is held in a large church and has a separate reception location to weddings where the ceremony and reception are in the same location and require a lot more coordination on our part of setup and breakdown in a short period of time. We've also planned outdoor weddings from the spring months all the way into October.

What sizes of weddings have you coordinated in the past?

Anywhere from small, intimate gatherings with less than 30 guests to larger weddings with more than 250 guests.

Common Consultation Questions:>When can I schedule a consultation?Complimentary consultations are by appointment and can be made Monday-Friday after 4:00pm and any time on weekends.>What can I expect at a consultation? This is the time where we can get to know each other better, you’ll get to see some examples of what I have to offer and I can get a better idea of what you’re looking for. I want to hear any and all ideas you have on everything from rental items to flowers to favors. Besides the look and feel you desire, I’ll also be interested in what role you’d like Special Touch Events to play in the planning of your event. >What should I bring with me?It’s a great idea to bring any decor ideas, including pictures of bouquets, event venue styles you like, actual linens, etc. Depending on where you are in the planning process, if you have a timeline and budget already formulated, you should bring those items too. Also, if you have already chosen either some or all of your vendors, please bring their contact information. And don’t forget to bring someone that wants to be involved- your fiancé, parents, bridesmaids or all of the above!>What happens next?If you have chosen to go with a custom package, you can expect to hear back from me with a price quote within one week of our initial consultation.
