I bought my dress at a small boutique in New Orleans and had it shipped up to MA for my wedding. Sposabella was happy to do the alterations for me, even though I didn’t buy the dress from them. Charlene, I think she’s the owner, managed the fittings, and transformed my dress from a beast that was 4 sizes too big, to a masterpiece that was perfect for me! I couldn’t have been happier with her advice and how she artfully crafted a gorgeous bustle from a ton of material and lace. Her seamstress that did the actual sewing did a spectacular job. Sposabella also sold my mother a stunning mother of the bride dress that was beautiful but also appropriate. They were accommodating of both me and my mother’s crazy schedules and I couldn’t have been happier with their service.

Sposabella was great! I found an absolutely amazing dress and couldn't have been a happier with everything. The alterations were a bit pricy, but I had them cut the train off my dress and the work was flawless. They also had dresses in a wide range of prices helping to fit my budget.

I went to Sposabella with my mom and maid of honor on a whim to look for my wedding dress - with no intention of actually buying it! Cindy let us peruse through the store and pick out gowns I wanted to try on. She actually picked out the dress I ended up buying - but I did not like it at first - it was all beads, and I didn't think I wanted any beading. Long story short - it was an off-the-rack dress that was half of the original price, and when I tried it on for the third time that day, Charlene came out and talked to me about it. I told her what I didn't like and she said everything was easily changed to fit exactly what I wanted. The alterations were a bit pricey - but they basically made the dress into a custom dress just for me. They turned the lace-up back into a zipper and put buttons all the way down the back; they took off the bigger rhinestones that I hated and replaced them with the smaller beads; and they made a size 12 dress fit my size 2 body like a glove! In the end - it was absoultely perfect!

Sposabella has a large selection of bridal gowns and bridesmaids dresses. Cindy was a pleasure to work with - she is really able to look at you and help you find a dress that is right for you. She selected my bridal gown and also picked out the bridesmaids dresses. We absolutely loved our dresses. They offer a discount if you order the bridesmaids dresses there which makes it worthwhile. The service was very good, thanks to Cindy's help and Charlene taking care of the alterations. I live out of town so they were flexible with the appointments and made sure to have the alterations done on time. The cost of alterations for the bridal gown is pretty standard, but it is expensive for the bridesmaids dresses so if you are on a budget you might want to bring the dress to someone else (or be sure to get a quote before you get the dress pinned up).The tuxedos came in and the sizes were really off for most of the groomsmen but they were quick to change the items (shirts, vests) and get the alterations done with a really tight timeframe.

I have mixed feelings about Sposabella. First, you're not allowed to take any photos until you buy a dress. So you can't try on a dress, and have a photo to think it over. This is a pretty common ploy by bridal shops to prevent you from comparing prices on dresses. Shady. I tried on a sample dress that I liked, but wasn't in love with, but was still the best of all the dresses I'd tried on while on cape cod. My wedding was going to be on cape, but I live 3,000 miles away, so getting a dress would be tricky no matter what. Either I had to buy it there and get fitted the week before the wedding, or I had to buy one at home and have to fly it across the country. I decided to buy the sample dress. The owner was rather unpleasant when it came to negotiations. She came off pretty mean, in fact. She tried to tell me I should make up my mind about the dress quick because it might sell soon too. The dress was 2 years old.. I wasn't worried. We ended up settling on a price and I paid for alterations in advance. They told me they could fit me the week before the wedding no problem. This all happened 7 mos before the wedding, just fyi.Once I had my wedding date, I called them to schedule my fittings. They told me they couldn't schedule me until a month before the wedding. So I called back a month before and scheduled. All set. Well, they called before my first fitting and asked to push it back a couple of hours. I said okay and the fitting went well. A lot of pins went in and the dress started to look like it fit me! My next fitting was already scheduled, but they wanted to push that back a day. I had a whole week booked solid with things I had to do to prepare for my wedding and this kind of threw a wrench in it. So I had to move my schedule around to accommodate them. This also meant my dress pickup was pushed back two days. Also inconvenient. However, when the dress was finished, it fit perfectly and the alterations were done very well. They had promised to spot clean the dress, which unfortunately they had not. I noticed when I came to pick up the dress but didn't bother to ask them about it because there was no time to fix it now. Since they had pushed my dress pickup to the day before the wedding, I couldn't do anything about it. In hindsight, I would say don't shop there. I did end up with a beautiful dress, but I feel like the staff wasn't very pleasant, especially when you're spending over $1k there. They were only nice to me at the very end. Their selection isn't all that big either, and I think they get most of their business because there are only about 2 bridal shops on the entire cape. Definitely shop around a while, off cape, so you don't leave with a sour taste in your mouth like I did. The women at Chantilly's Bridal down the street from them were actually really really nice and accommodating, by the way. I really wanted to give them my business instead, but they didn't have any dresses I liked.

Great selection, found exactly what I was looking for. The quality of my dress was really good and since we were planning our wedding in such a short time they were very flexible and accomidating. All my alterations came out perfect and my girls all looked awesome as well. There was one girl who lived out of town and had her's done elsewhere and the quality was noticeably lower. The prices were extremely reasonable as well. Highly recommend checking them out.

Service is great, staff are friendly. The prices were amazing compared to other bridal shops in Toronto. The only downsides are small change rooms, a smaller selection of dresses compared to other stores (although still fairly diverse) and a much smaller selection of accessories.

BRIDES BEWARE! I ordered my dress the first week of January for my September wedding and was told I ordered "in plenty of time" because my dress would take almost six months to come in from Barcelona. I was told I would have it in my hands by the middle of June. The end of June rolls around and still, no dress. I called them a few times and they just seemed annoyed, telling me that it is running late and I will just need to wait... it might not be in until the end of July!!! I fell in love with this dress in a magazine and this shop was the only place that had it in all of New England so I drove 1 1/2 hr to get it. Now it was getting to the point where I had no idea when the dress would be in and when I would be able to fit in a 3 hr round-trip drive just months before my wedding, and I still had no idea when it would be in. The dress didn't actually come in until August and when it did it was too small!!! I am not a big girl. I wear a size 4 and even though I was told this dress runs true to street size I still ordered the 6 to be safe. I had been dieting and working out since ordering the dress so I don't understand how it was too small but it would not even zip up in the back! The owner told me it was fine, it was only about an inch. But I looked in the mirrors and saw that it wouldn't zip up after my hips and there was a 3-inch gap!!! I was freaking out thinking I needed to go buy a new dress a month before my wedding!I really think they ordered a smaller size.Luckily, I have an awesome seamstress who was able to take it out and it ended up fitting in time for the day but if my dress were here when I was told it would be, rather than almost 2 months late I wouldn't have dealt with all of this unnecessary stress. I basically was starving myself in the weeks leading up to my wedding because I was afraid the dress wouldn't fit. This was the worst experience in my wedding planning process!!!!

My dress is amazing. The staff where so helpfull and understanding. They carry all sizes, shapes and colors to try on. Belive me you will know when you get the right one.

Sposabella Bridal is a fantastic wedding gown and atire shop. Every time I visited to try on my wedding gown or my girls to try on their bridesmaids dresses - we enjoyed the visits and had friendly customer service from the staff. The seamstress is great. My mother also bought her dress here as well. I would highly recommend not ruling out a bridal shop such as Sposabella and at least visiting the store if you are in the area. At first I was unsure of the costs of bridal shops but you can have high quality dresses from designers at reasonable costs - just visit Sposabella!

The people at this bridal shop really want to help you find the best looking wedding dress for you. I tried on more then a few dresses but really liked the second dress I tried on and everyone there said it looked like it was made for me. Now the thing is this dress was much less expenissive then some of the other dress I was looking at. The staff did not try to sell me a more expensive dress they sold me the one that looked best. Also I live in VA and was in town visitng my family when we just went in to glance. They set up a special time fo rmy fitting when they normally don't have anyone in at that time b/c I was coming in town one given weekned. They were spectacular I give them my highest recommendation.

Sposabella was great to work with. They had a great selection of dresses, most of which are moderately priced and the shop's staff was attentive and friendly. The alteration process was quick and they did a fabulous job, my dress fit perfectly.

I went to Sposabella to "try on" dresses and left with my dream dress for an unbelievable price. It was 1/2 off the original price because of a special sale. My vail and head band were also 1/2 off! The dress was a Pronovias dress that I had seen in a magazine and thought was too expensive. Sposabella made it possible for me to have the most beautiful dress at an amazing price!

I got my wedding dress at the Bella Outlet, which was located next to Sposabella's but has relocated to Falmouth. It was inexpensive and just what I was looking for. I wanted something beachy with blue crystals and couldn't find out until I walked into the outlet. The ladies were helpful, patient, and kind.

I planned my wedding in only about a month and a half, they worked with me in my short time frame. Since that was too short a time to order a dress my size, they sold me the one off the shelf. It was 6 sizes too big, but made the alterations at no charge, and it fit absolutely perfectly when they were finished. I also bought my shoes from them! I would recommend them to anyone.

I live on Nantucket and needed to find my dress in the one day that I took to go off-island. SposaBella was the second place we went to, and the ladies there were really great. When I was trying on the dress I loved, off the rack, I remarked that it was just over my price limit. The owner overheard me, knocked 25% off, and threw in alterations. They were very helpful in everything - finding the perfect veil, jewelry, shoes, getting the alterations JUST RIGHT. The dress was from St. Patricks, a Pronovias offshoot company... my dream-dress brand. It was an awesome experience shopping at SposaBella.

The staff at Sposabella bridal is excellent. They were all very helpful with finding our dresses, jewelery, and with alterations. The best part was their flexibility as many in the bridal party were from out of town. Overall I would highly recommend their services.

A lovely dress shop. They sold me a floor sample of a discontinued dress at a generous discount and were even willing to ship it to me, out of state, weeks after I had tried it on.
