I worked with Kim & she was wonderful the entire 10 months of planning. When Kim wasn't there, I was always able to find someone there willing to help with anything I needed. Great staff & great venue.

I had my wedding ceremony and reception at St. Andrews. I was very happy with the service. We received lot of compliments afterwards.

The staff was wonderful to work with. The timeline was very easily laid out in the beginning, so expectations were met by both parties. The cake was fabulous. MANY of our guests commented on the beauty of the facility. We had our ceremony outside and couldn't have been more pleased with our experience!

They were able to everything we wanted and were so helpful and flexible.

My daughter's and son-in-law's ceremony and reception was above and beyond what we dreamed! We also held our rehearsal dinner there - excellent choice and helped the evening feel like an extension of the event with no pressure. One guest described the ceremony site as "most beautiful in DuPage County". The staff was helpful, pleasant and the food was wonderful. Kim was extremely helpful through the entire planning process. The day of the wedding Marianne was extremely attentive and was available if we ever needed anything. Joe saved the day by finding some extra chair ties that eventually became an integral part of the bridesmaid's dresses. All of my guests were extremely complimentary of how friendly and attentive the entire staff was. The venue was beautiful and I couldn't have asked for a better wedding. I would definitely recommend St. Andrews to anyone!

I had my wedding at the St. Andrews Golf & Country Club in West Chicago in June 16th 2012, and it was perfect. I had the ceremony outside and reception inside, and everything was beautiful. All the staff are really nice and professional and flexible. It was everything perfect, most of my guest were driven on their golf's cars to where the ceremony was placed, even though it wasn't that far. The food was really good, even though I didn't eat too much, but I ate on the taste day so I can tell the food is good too, and so was the cake, and I am really pick about wedding cakes. Their decoration was beautiful too.

Our wedding was absolutely beautiful and went out without a hitch. There were no issues at all during the night of the reception or during the planning process. Our wedding event coordinator was extremely flexible and helpful. She put the beads on our tables for the centerpieces, and she allowed us to have a single vegetarian meal at last minute notice. Wedding receptions cost a good deal of money and you need to choose carefully. St. Andrews is worth every penny. The food is very good as was the cake. The service was excellent. I would recommend this to any new bride and groom who are looking.

We had a great outdoor wedding at St. Andrew's. The ground are well maintained. The staff was very nice!!

We had the most amazing wedding and St. Andrews was a huge part of this. You definitely get your moneys worth at this venue. Cheryl was great to work with and very accommodating to our needs. You can literally transform this venue into the wedding of your dreams with the help of Cheryl and her staff. The food is terrific, the bar is outstanding, and the wait staff is extremely professional. Our friends and family had wonderful things to say about our wedding, my brother-in-law even called the day after our wedding to find out what type of coffee they used because it was that good! Anyone looking for a great wedding at a reasonable price should check out St. Andrews, I promise you will not regret it.

Overall, my husband and I were very satisfied with St. Andrew's for our wedding reception. The food was delicious, the holiday decorations were beautiful, and the staff was always cooperative. We felt that it was affordable and provided exactly what we were looking for. However, there was a few areas of miscommunication: 1) We had requested for the fire places to be lit the entire time, and when we arrived, they weren't. We had to find a staff member and ask for them to be lit. 2) The banquet staff ate a lot of the leftover wedding cake, without our permission. It was a cake baked by my brother, and we would've liked to bring home all the leftovers. 3) The overhead music, prior to dinner, was supposed to be playing, and again, we had to ask for them to turn it on. 4) We were told that we could set up our decorations / table favors the morning of the wedding, but when we arrived none of the table were clothed with the appropriate linens. Again, we had to ask a staff member to place them for us, so that we could arrange our table decors.

Overall, our satisfaction far out-weighted anything negative, and I would highly recommend St. Andrew's for anyone's banquet needs.

My husband and I were very pleased with our reception at St Andrew's. Every time I asked for something they found a way to make it happen. Everything went perfect. The food was awesome and the price was amazing for what was included. The bar was all top shelf!! Most places charge extra for that! How awesome is that. On top of that during dinner my head table had a personal bartender. The service was amazing. My food was delivered while I was greeting tables so I asked the server to warm it up for me and instead he brought me a whole new plate of food. So generous. Cheryl Soto worked with me on the entire thing and she was amazing. She did a wonderful job and really made everything come together perfectly! I HIGHLY recommend this venue. We held our early July wedding at St. Andrews and could not have been happier with the service, atmosphere, food, and overall value of the venue. Whenever people ask about our wedding the first thing we mention is the unbelievable service we received throughout the entire planning process, during the wedding, and even days after. The coordinator was helpful, flexible, and entirely focused on making sure we were happy with every aspect of the reception from the meal to the mood (and when my fiancé couldn’t take advantage discounted golfing on the wedding day, she even mailed out free passes to their driving range). During the reception the wait staff were cheerful and personable in a way I have experienced at very few weddings. And when we asked the wait staff about the incredibly tasty and unique butternut squash soup they served before dinner, the head chef actually came out to talk to us about how it was prepared even providing the recipe for us.

St. Andrews has several rooms available for weddings each with a unique feel. We chose the St. Andrew’s Room, a bright and spacious hall with beautiful chandeliers and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the club’s property. They provided separate brides and groom rooms, which were very classy (my bridesmaids were impressed). Because there was no event the night before, St. Andrews allowed us to set up our escort cards and music system a day early with no extra charge. They allowed us to have a unique seating arrangement and were helpful in modifying that arrangement to be exactly what we wanted.

Finally, St. Andrews includes open bar, tax, and gratuity in their per plate reception pricing, which actually put them cheaper than many other venues in the area, even though the quality was better than the other venues. We recommend St. Andrews to absolutely anyone who asks us how our wedding went.

My husband and I had our reception at St. Andrews, and I couldn't be more pleased with the way it turned out. It is the BEST bang for your buck (to put it so eloquently :) in the western suburbs. Prices are incredibly reasonable, taxes and service charges are included in plate prices, even top shelf liquor is included....so there are no surprises. If you only want beer and wine included, they will take $5 off the plate price and you may opt for cash for anything other than beer and wine.

Cheryl is great to work with. She always got back to me in a timely manner, made sure I knew when St. Andrews had upcoming tastings, and was always available if I needed to come in to talk details. The banquet hall is AMAZING for weddings. We had looked at several places that were too dark (i.e. Drury Lane), but St. Andrews has picture windows for tons of light, a HUGE area for dancing, a beautiful vintage looking chandeliers. My only complaint is that they don't have full length table cloths, and they only come in stark white. Not only is the room beautiful, but the course is perfect for wedding photos.

When Cheryl couldn't be at our wedding because of a previous engagement, she made sure the rest of the staff took care of us. They set up the room beautifully!! The night of the reception, I was approached by two of the men in charge who made sure I knew who they were in case I needed anything. For being so reasonably priced, the food was absolutely excellent, and the service to the tables was impeccable. I am still getting compliments on the quality of the food. They don't provide a cake, but they don't have a preferred vendor list - so you can have a cake brought in from anywhere.

I would urge anyone considering St. Andrews to go visit venue and go to a tasting!!

Our wedding at St. Andrews Golf & Country Club was perfect. When we walked in to the banquet room it took our breath away at how beautiful it was.
The staff at St. Andrews were all so friendly and accomodating. Cheryl S. was our coordinator for the wedding and was such a delight to work with.
The owner was there too and she was so charming. She even noticed we had a few seniors and was quick to accomadate them to seats for cocktail hour.
Also, the grounds were beautiful for pictures.

The entire staff at St. Andrews was both pleasant and helpful!!! We used 2 rooms, 1 for the ceremony and 1 for the reception, everything was set up perfect!! I loved our bartenders they were very fun!!

All of the people at St. Andrew's were very helpful, professional, polite, and curteous. The staff was very flexible--my husband is active military, and they were able to change our reception date without hesitation when we had to move our wedding date back by 6 months in response to my husband's schedule. The best part about St. Andrew's is that I felt part of a family--it's a great atmosphere where everyone is treated with respect and dignity, from the guests to the cooks in the kitchen to the custodians.

Our wedding was a bi-cultural one, blending my American family with my husband's Mexican-American family. Both sides of the family felt very comfortable and very at-home at St. Andrew's. The entire staff was very understanding of and supportive of both or our familys' unique traditions, and created a beautiful, tasteful environment where we were treated well at all times.

St. Andrew's is a great little diamond in the rough--located in working-class West Chicago, no one would ever think that such a great place could be nestled into that little town! But, lo and behold, it exists, and is wonderful! The staff was so helpful in planning our special day, with lots of vendor recommendations that were reliable and easy to work with, and were very friendly at all times. Communication with staff was frequent and thurough, always giving complete and honest answers. On top of everything, the best part of all, the price is right! St. Andrew's can accomodate any size wedding and any budget--with them, you can have the wedding of your dreams without drowning in debt!

We had a beautiful reception at St. Andrews and I would highly recommend it. The room was gorgeous and Karen and Cheryl were flexible, accomodating, detail oriented and very professional. I would have liked them to be there the night of my wedding to help things run a little more smoothly, as I was unfamiliar with the person "in charge," but the night went well. Everyone had a wonderful time and complemented me on how beautiful the room looked, how fun the bartenders were, and what a charming place St. Andrews is.

We loved having our wedding here, you get such GREAT value for the cost. The venue was beautiful and our guests had a great time!

We picked St. Andrews because they had the date 10.10.10 open and they were pretty close to our house. We never imagined how awesome they would be. Everyone we worked with from the florist to the minister knew about their following and had nothing but wonderful comments about them. We dropped off a bunch of odds and ends from the guestbook to pumpkins we were going to place around the venue for decoration. When we showed up the day of everything was in a place and it was a HUGE relief for us to not think about anything. They not only wowwed us but they amazed our guest too. Everyone enjoyed the outdoors for the ceremony and thought we did a great job picking out the food. I would go back and do it again and again!

Cheryl, Karen, & Jude did a fabulous job at carrying out our wedding day! everything was just as I wished. They were great at listening to requests. I would highly suggest St. Andrews Golf Club to any bride looking for a beautiful ceremony and reception. They are very reasonable, and great to work with. St. Andrews was a wonderful place to have our wedding ceremony and reception. Cheryl, the banquet manager was wonderful, and so helpful for the entire year my husband and i were engaged. She was able to make sure everything went smoothly. The ceremony site outside at st. andrews is perfect for a summer/fall wedding. and the price was worth it . all the services provided by st. andrews was perfect!

St. Andrews was "hands down", not only the best deal, but also the most flexible venue that we came across when searching for ceremony/reception venues for our wedding. They really seemed to take pride in their work and care about our opinions. We would not hesitate to recommend St. Andrews for any other couple or special event. They will find whatever you need to make your day complete.

The only thing I wish is that they would have offered a cake. But that wasn't such an ordeal. I was very happy with the wedding, and so were all of my friends and family.

They were very helpful and always responded to my numerous questions in a timely fashion. They even gave my husband cheaper rates for a few golf foursomes on our wedding day.

The only downside was they calculated my bill incorrectly. When I thought I had everything paid before the wedding, I got another bill in the mail even though my final count was accurate.

The staff at St. Andrews was very helpful in every step on the process! They had a dinner one night where we could taste the food and make a decision which entree would be the best for our reception. The staff was very resonsive and often called me or emailed me the same day I contacted them with questions. I feel that the staff enjoys their jobs and they do such a good job with weddings because of that. I saw pictures of what other receptions looked like, but when I walked into the reception room that night I was blown away. They did such a great job arranging dinner tables, gift tables and the place card table. The centerpieces turned out beautiful! My family and I saw the staff continuously throughout the night and they kept asking if we needed anything. The night ran very smoothly because of the St. Andrew's Staff.

St. Andrew’s did a SUPERB job on our wedding. Karen, Pete and Cheryl were incredibly organized and helpful during the entire process. They always responded to me the same day. My mom is still getting calls asking who the wedding planner was… we did not have one, but the team at St. Andrew’s sure made it look like we did. The food was excellent, the top shelf liquor plentiful, and service outstanding. Not to mention that the room looked amazing. If you ever need a reference please feel free to use us. St. Andrews was a great choice to have our wedding and reception. The staf was super nice, and very helpful. There was not a thing they wouldnt do for us. the food was great and the room was beautiful. The ceremony was set up beautifully on a lake, underneath mature oak trees that provided shade on a hot day. The value for this venue was incredible as well, as they had great food, and top shelf liquer for our guests.

By far the BEST people to work with. Karen + Cheryl were so so flexible, laid back, + efficient. They made our planning process so very easy + enjoyable.

great place to have wedding and reception. makes you feel comfortable on your big day and they work with you instead of just leaving it up to you. no extra little fees like most places either (cake cutting fee, cork fee).
