Stacy is the BEST you will find! It was such a pleasure to have her photograph our wedding, and was well-worth it! I was so taken aback when I first saw our photos that I just looked over them over and over again for hours on end! She captured everything that I wanted, and thensome! She is inconspicuous most of the time, except for when she needed specific shots! Stacy totally rocks, and if you have the chance, BOOK HER!

Stacey photographed my sisters wedding and did an amazing job for her formal shoot and the wedding photos. I am excited to have an opportunity to work with Stacey myself for my own wedding.

Can't say enough about Stacy Marks! Very professional, reliable, stylish, creative, and a perfectionst! My husband and I are very pleased with our wedding pictures. Not a moment was missed and the quality of our pictures are amazing! Extremely quick getting us our pictures! We have received so many compliments. Thank you so much for our life time of memories.

Stacy's work is amazing! My bridal party loved how fast he took group pictures to be sure we could enjoy the rest of our time on the dancefloor. He took over 1,000.00 pictures and we barely knew he was there....AWESOME!

Stacy Marks is a great photographer. He is well priced and his books are better than his competitors. What I liked most about Stacy was the extra photo shoot he gave us to get some of the downtown New orleans. He was opened to taking any kind of shot that we wanted in and around the bride's hotel, ceremony/reception location, and the downtown area. I can not wait to see all the pictures!

Stacy Marks' love of photography, fashion, and family is the gift he brings to your wedding day. In order to capture all of the love, time, care and effort that go into planning your wedding, you want a photographer whose work preserves your story with depth and passion.

Stacy believes in working for the couple on their wedding with personal service. This means being there when you need him. If it's the engagement session, bridal session, or the wedding day, Stacy personally shoots every shot with his experience behind the camera. Do you have liability insurance?

Yes

Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?

Shooting with the Nikon D3S allows me to shoot even in the worst conditions for lighting. Amazing photographs come from this camera if you know how to work it correctly. I use it on manual all the time so I know what I am going to get. I use as much natural lighting as possible.

Is your media preference film or digital?

Being the first digital wedding photographer in New Orleans, it's all I know.

How many photographers do you work with?

I work wedding unobtrusively. All shots shown are taken by me.

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?

I will be capturing your wedding with this guarantee, it's me or it's free. I will not leave you at your wedding to go to another wedding.

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?

I never book two weddings in the same day...

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?

Yes I am affiliated with many photographers in the area.

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?

Nikon D3S and backup, with an assortment of Nikon lenses to fully capture your wedding day.

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?

Yes always.

Do you charge hourly or full day?

All book packages have 7 hours with 3 locations.

Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?

Extra hours are available for 200 each.

Do you charge for travel?

Weddings within 60 miles of New Orleans are no travel charge. Please call for events outside this area.

How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?

Generally 1 to 2 weeks after your event the files are ready and posted online with a password for viewing. The DVD of files is also ready at this point.

Do you retain the copyright for the photos?

Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?

Yes, occasionally some photographs are used for advertising unless stated otherwise by the bride and groom.

Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?

Yes with copyright release.

Will images be available for viewing online?

Yes within 1 to 2 weeks of your event. Family and friends can also purchase photographs from this website. Keep in mind you will have the DVD with files for printing as well.

What kind of albums do you offer?

Flush mount albums are offered in various forms. Each individually designed to be unique and are tailored for that couple.

When will the client get the final album?

When the orderform with the file selections are received by me, you will receive your album in 6-8 weeks.
