Stacy Porras was by far the BEST investment I made for my wedding this past weekend. From the first time I spoke with her on the phone, I knew I wanted her as my wedding planner. She is detail-oriented, organized, professional, and executes everything perfectly... with a huge smile on her face.
Working with, coordinating and directing 14 different vendors can't be an easy task. But the entire wedding went perfectly all thanks to Stacy and her team. She's been doing this for a long time and it shows. She is on top of everything! I didn't have to worry about a single thing on my wedding day because I knew I was in great hands. I'm finally recovered from all the excitement of the wedding. I wanted to tell you how wonderful the wedding was and what a pleasure it was to work with you and your team. From the start, you were on top of things and I marveled at how quickly you followed up on our phone calls and all the wedding timeline details. Both the rehearsal and the wedding day went more smoothly than I could ever have imagined and I know a lot of the reason for that was how well organized you are and how seamlessly you coordinated all the loose ends. Claudia was an amazing wedding coordinator!!! I will admit I was a very detail oriented bride and wanted everything done in a particular way. Claudia and her team made it happen. I had written out every detail thinking but never imagined anyone could make it all happen, but Claudia made it happen.
Leading to the wedding Claudia kept in constant contact via email, helped me make sure everything was on track. The day of she and her team mad sure everything went according to our schedule.

Stacy was truly amazing in every way and made planning my wedding so much easier and enjoyable! She always made me feel better about the process and reassured me when I needed it most! And in the end, she was absolutely right, the event turned out beautiful and was everything I had imagined! I worked directly with Claudia and she was so kind, thoughtful, and thorough. She was always so responsive, she helped me with a lot of questions- walked me through things that I wouldn't have even thought of during the planning process. She has such a sweet and calm nature about her, which helped me in planning and during the rehearsal/wedding day.
One of the things that sold me on working with them was that they provide a team for the day of the wedding, meaning there are multiple people there to help coordinate. One can be with the bride, while the others are at the venue, with the groom, setting things up, etc. Both of the additional ladies were very nice and had great demeanors for this service. There were just a few things that didn't quite go as planned on the day, but that is truly the nature of weddings.
Overall I highly valued their service and would recommend them to any new bride!!
Claudia was a phenomenal coordinator. Our first meeting was great - she took so many small things off my plate and made me feel organized and at ease. She was sweet and helpful during the rehearsal and very helpful and organized during the wedding. Nothing went wrong - and I knew she and her team made sure of it. They each had a radio with them, so if I needed something from the room, I asked, and it was there. She even helped us deal with another vendor who screwed up a few things. I went to a friend's wedding recently and saw another coordinator in action. This other coordinator was rude and not nearly as helpful - making me realize that Claudia + team are truly wonderful! They are organized, reliable, responsive and sweet - all you really need.

Stacy and her girls made our wedding run butter-smooth! My groom and I were so relaxed and happy during my wedding because we had complete trust in their coordination. You cannot top Stacy's 20+ years of experience in event planning as well as her sweet personality, always reassuring and professional. She is quick and detailed-oriented making the necessary adjustments on the wedding day in order to make our special day PERFECT! The best part is that every family member and close friend were able to enjoy the wedding because we had so much support from Stacy's team.
Stacy and her team are amazing! Stacy handles all these details you wouldn't even think would come up but she has it all well in hand. The wedding day itself moves so quickly and Stacy and her assistants make sure to keep you on track. The ladies she employees are also sweet and very capable and so professional. Having a wedding coordinator/planner was the one vendor my husband and I didn't think we needed but she ended up being the most important! All our guests were also very impressed by team Stacy.

I thought I could plan my wedding by myself, until I had to find all my own vendors, set up a timeline for the actual day-of, and carry it through. Stacy did all of that for me, so all that I had to do was relax and enjoy the day. My wedding was perfect.
Stacy was alway available to meet our needs. We worked with Stacy for a year while my fiancee & I were both in wheelchairs. Stacy always had a smile on her face as she accommodated our unique challenges. We would recommend Stacy without hesitation!
I was really impressed with Claudia my wedding coordinator right up until the day of my wedding. There was a great value and everything seemed great right up until it was show time. Claudia really upset my mom on my wedding day and a few other things fell through the cracks. In the end I was happy I hired them but a little disappointed with the way it all went down.
Saved my life... like every bride, things came up at the last minute... and I called upon her to take over everything 2-3 weeks before the wedding. She was the most amazing amount of positivity that I needed and followed through with everything. She was one step ahead every time and offered to drive to pick up things that were completely out of the way for me! Honestly, I would gift her to any future bride friends of mine...
I didn't think I needed a wedding planner since I am very organized and do some event planning in my job, but I got one since Kyoto Grand Hotel required it. Robyn, our wedding planner, called about a month before our wedding (we got the basic day of service package) and asked us a ton of questions to write the timeline for the day. There were about 20 things that I had not thought of at all, despite extensive research and googling "wedding day timeline". She communicated with all our vendors, and honestly I would have been so stressed without her and her two assistants on the wedding day itself. She got people in place, did all the setup, kept everything running smoothly, made sure everything got brought up to our suite, and handled snafus with ceremony music. If I had to do it all over again, I most definitey would have chosen this company and maybe upgraded the service to a larger package.
Nicole Kingston and her assistants were unbelievably amazing. Nicole was super friendly and very professional. She made my wedding day go so smoothly and it was amazing. Nicole and her team were on top of everything. I can honestly say that I was not the least bit stressed nor worried because I knew how amazing they were. Everything went as plan and my husband and I were so happy. She really made everything fabulous from the planning to the setting up and just being there for us. My husband was very thankful we chose Nicole. I don't think our wedding would have gone as smooth nor be just so perfect without them. THank you so much Nicole Kingston and her assistance. It was such a pleasure working with her.

Stacy was a wonderful coordinator. I hired her for full time coordination and from the moment I did, my life calmed down and the wedding planning became manageable. She took most of the wedding planning stress off my plate and made me feel very comfortable having her take care of everything that we decided on. All but two of the vendors she recommended to me were 100% fabulous, (and let me tell you, the others WERE SO AMAZING) the wedding and reception were beautiful and the day went off pretty great. There were a couple hiccups on the day, but for the most part everything went really well. I would strongly recommend Stacy's services to brides-to-be.
Stacy and her assistants, Lauren and Chelsea are the very reason my wedding went as smoothly as it did. The hotel that was holding my ceremony and reception hired her for me to help with all the last minute neccessities.... and it was Godsent. I couldn't of asked for anyone better. Stacy stayed on top of every single detail and even helped me with the wedding timeline which had been stressing me out. To be honest, she actually prepared the entire timeline for me since I had no idea what I was doing!
During the day of the rehearsal, Chelsea couldn't have been more helpful. She was extremely informative and professional.
On the wedding day, Stacy, Lauren and Chelsea were there to make sure everything went smoothly and smoothly it went. Lauren and Chelsea stayed for the entire wedding and I knew I could go to them for anything I needed help with that day.

I am a genius for picking Stacy. GENIUS! I interviewed 9 wedding coordinators (no lie) and I can say without a doubt that Stacy is THE BEST. I cannot say enough, yet I cannot find the words. If you are even looking at this page and considering hiring Stacy, just hire her already! It will be the best decision you make.
I honestly don't think my wedding would have gone as smoothly if it wasn't for Stacy and her assistants. I hired her 'day of' package and had her as our main point person which heightened the cost but was COMPLETELY worth it. This included a detailed timeline (which she finished 2 wks early), phone calls & e-mails 6 months prior, vendor coordination the week of the wedding, 2 mtgs the month & the rehearsal. Stacy went beyond this and met with us 1 additional time before the wedding with all of our vendors since we had such a difficult ceremony location. We had a different ceremony and reception site, over 20 people in our bridal party and over 250 guests so we definitely need some more help - we had 5 assistants + Stacy and 1 of the assistants for free. 1 of the assistants stayed with me the entire day, from noon until 8pm assisting my every need (breath mints, water, snacks, holding my dress everywhere I walked during pre-ceremony photos, literally EVERYTHING) and it was such a relief b/c anytime anyone had a question she was right there to answer and I didn't have to worry about anything. She was such a godsend.
My wedding was pretty detailed and I woke up that morning without a single worry because I knew Stacy & her team were on it and that piece of mind is priceless. Stacy is the best at what she does.
Tricia Dahlgren of Stacy Porras Wedding Consulting is the best wedding coordinator ever!! She was our DOC for our May 23rd 2009 wedding; I must say she is terrific. She is very sweet, professional and is highly skilled at what she does. We didn't have to worry about ANYTHING that day. She coordinated our wedding rehearsal which helped it run very smoothly, and then she arrived early the next day to coordinate our big day. She and her team were on top of everything. All of the day's events were on schedule, and the reception area was set up as we had hoped it would be. Megan who was part of her team that day, stayed with me while I got ready - calmed my nerves, helped me get into my dress, held my dress so that it wouldn't get dirty and made sure that I always had everything I needed. They were both so responsive and caring - you can tell that they love what they are doing. They made it clear by their actions that their primary role is to make sure that the wedding is run efficiently and that everything is taken care of. My husband and I couldn't have had a special of a day without their support. I felt like a princess on my wedding day, and part of this had to do with the fact that they took care of everything for us. They even decorated our hotel room and made sure that it was cleaned up, so that after the event we wouldn't have to come back to a messy room!! From my first meeting with her,Stacy was helpful, willing to listen, and full of ideas of things i had never thought of. I knew i needed someone who was organized and detail oriented, and she was just that. She is excellent with pre-wedding communication, and is great at following up.
On the day of, Stacy and her team were simply incredible. They managed every little detail, and didn't miss anything i had wanted to be done. I felt so relieved not to have to worry about all of the little hiccups that normally happen on the wedding day. My family, Fiance and I were able to completely enjoy the day and take in all of the memories. Even after the wedding, i have received many compliments about how smooth and easy my wedding day seemed to pass by.
Stacy made my wedding feel very personal. I didn't feel like just "another wedding" to her, which was one of the reasons i enjoyed her so much. She added many suprise details to my wedding day, that made it that more memorable.
I cannot say enough about how great Stacy and her team are. They absolutely went above and beyond to make my day special. I would reccommend her without a doubt.
Stacy Porras is my wedding hero! She really made my wedding and the entire process easy, enjoyable and stress-free. I really didnt think that would be possible considering I was having a big wedding with 400+ guests, and it was a 3 day event!! Im amazed at how much detail she helped me put into it and really helped me from not losing my mind. She was on top of everything from the beginning of the planning process all the way until the last moment of the night. The best part of it all is her attitude, no matter what she always has a smile on her face, an upbeat attitude and never lets you down. Shes easy going, always available and gives you honest input. She really knows her stuff. I have already recommended her to so many of my friends and will continue to do so because she truely is phenomenal.
There is only one word to describe Stacy--phenomenal. She is incredible at what she does in the way only a person who loves her job and cares for the people she is working to make a wedding for can be. With her unrelentless enthusiasm, insider connections, patience, and adaptability, she enabled us to have the fun-filled, beautiful wedding of our dreams. All of this happened while remaining within the confines of our budget! She also kept us organized and calm throughout not only our day but throughout the process so that we as a couple could still enjoy the wedding planning itself. If you want a skilled, personable, and caring professional, I would go with Stacy.
Why can't I give negative 5 stars? For my $150K+ wedding, Stacy LEFT half way into the wedding! She left behind one of her inexperienced assistants to "oversee." The venue coordinator called me after my wedding to congratulate me and we discussed the situation; even she was shocked that Stacy left and mentioned that she had to pick up the slack because the assistant was incompetent. I actually left my wedding in a taxi because we couldn't find the limo. I requested a meal/snack from the caterers to be left for my husband and me after the wedding, and that didn't happen.
After the wedding she mailed our wedding video tapes via regular mail to my old address. When I emailed her asking where they were, we found out she sent them to the wrong address (even though she correctly told all the vendors my new address for credit card billing purposes). We had no tracking number, no insurance, nothing to find them! She didn't even apologize; she said she wasn't at fault (although I have all my emails to her notifying her of my new address). An apology goes a long way, even over lost wedding video footage.
Hiring her is my only regret from the wedding planning process. I considered suing her, but decided it's not worth the headache of seeing her and hearing her voice again. It's been over 2 years and it still bothers me enough to post this comment!
My other vendors were FABULOUS and I have highly recommended them to others and even rehired them for work engagements (Nicol Ragland Photography, Tres LA, Classics Party Rentals, Scratch DJs).
