I highly recommend Angela Stanton as a wedding photographer. She was so reponsive and easy to work with. We had a small ceremony and she was willing to travel to Coronado Island to shoot our ceremony for a few hours. I chose her because she has an artistic eye (she is also a painter). My fiance and I usually don't like pictures of ourselves, but the photos came out wonderful! She was able to capture us being ourselves, which was what we wanted. On top of that, she and her husband were so friendly!

Angela Stanton was outstanding she allowed me to flourish in my photo style. I loved the lighting and style she used. Soft and creamy!!! Angela and I were on the same page when it came to capture that perfect look. She new what I wanted and I knew how to be involved. Angela thank you for capturing that special day!!!

The photos are all gorgeous! Angela provided the professional service we were looking for. There was no hard sell of products, she is very professional, with the latest equipment, and was responsive to our requests. She went above and beyond to capture the day.

Angela took absolutely beautiful pictures! She was very easy to work with and did not have any problem with photo suggestions from family members. We have so many beautiful pictures to choose from. Our pictures were ALIVE with personality, spontaneity, character and love. Angela Stanton took my pictures with the utmost professionalism . We were over whelmed with over 700 of the most beautiful and tasteful pictures, making it very difficult to pick our favorites. They were all a work of art.

Angela is a very good photographer i would recommend her to anyone very nice photos. she really takes her time to get every photo in that you want and more. Also with the two extra photographers that she takes its so nice because u get so much more pictures then you would with just her. And when your pictures are all ready they come in a nice dvd with one of your photos on it......very nice!

I am Angela, an artistic wedding and studio photographer located in Orange County. I cover all regions of the United States but most of my business seems to be in the greater Orange County, San Diego, Los Angeles, Inland Empire, San Bernardino, Santa Barbara, and Palm Springs areas.

My style is unique. You will find that all of the photos (well, 95% or more of them) will be perfect and will be yours. I edit the photos in variosu ways according to the package you select: simple edit of exposure, composition and sharpness is always the base. the artistic packages receive more artistic editing. I can also photograph your wedding completely journalistic style if posing is not for you.

Let's discuss what you like and see the type of package I can create for you. No matter what your budget is, we can find a package that will fit your need. The queality of the photographs never change but the quantity, the length of photo coverage, and the type of edit you prefer change according to your budget.

A well known wedding photographer said the following in an interview:

"There are so many people coming into the photography industry these days, I mean everybody who has a camera thinks they’re a photographer... [Photographers] who are still in demand, like myself even after 25 years... is because when I photograph an event like a wedding, I know how to flatter the [bride's] body...

What primary photographic style do you identify with?

What do your packages include?

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes

Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?

We edit every photo to be beautiful, and that includes applying various tones, colors, and decorative artistic touches

Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?

We are lighting experts. We do special lighting outdoors as well as we have a studio where we create any type of lighting we want

Is your media preference film or digital?

I use only digital

How many photographers do you work with?

I work with one or more additional photographers depending on the number of locations the event spreads out on (bride getting ready, groom getting ready, ceremony location, reception location) and also the number of guests. I had weddings that were so small that I was the only photographer and photographed weddings where I had 4 other photographers working with me.

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?

I guarantee my presence at the event

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?

Yes, I had up to 2 events on the same day once but they were quite distant in time and close in location so there was no conflict

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?

Yes, I always provide that in my contract as a guarantee of my service

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?

I use professional Canon equipment. I am a member of Canon Professional Services and use the latest professional equipment possible. I carry 6-7 lenses and 2 cameras with me to every event.

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?

Yes, I have backup cameras and flashes.

Do you charge hourly or full day?

I have hourly packages as well as full day. I am quite flexible in the service I provide: whatever the bride needs, she will get. =)

Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?

I am always available for extra hours and my current hourly rate is $400

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?

I usually don't photograph during dinner time because it leads to ugly pictures of people with full mouths so I usually take a break at that time. Meal is not a requirement but is preferred since working on a full day schedule (photography is hard physical and creative work) we tend to get very tired very soon if we don't eat.

Do you charge for travel?

Travel within a 50-miles radius from Anaheim is included in all event photography. Outside of that it depends on the kind of package. Shorter packages charge $0.555 per mile but 8+ hour (full) packages include travel up to 100 miles circle of radius from Anaheim. Destination travel expenses will be charged at cost.

How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?

Usually 8-10 weeks after the event all of the pictures are ready to be downloaded. I don't work with proofs; the couple has the right to have all of the pictures I take and they receive print rights.

In what format are the initial proofs offered?

The couple receives their own password protected hosted gallery for their family and friends to visit and download their photos. Here they can download the digital copies free in full size and high resolution and can order prints. There are no proofs.

How long can the client keep the proofs?

The client can keep all proofs forever since I have no proofs. They receive their photos immediately. =)

Do you retain the copyright for the photos?

In the US the photographer always retains the copyright to the photos unless the client wishes to have an official transfer of copyright, which can be very complicated and expensive.

Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?

I reserve the right to publish the photos for my own advertisement purposes, show them in galleries and bridal shows. I do not sell my clients' photos. The contract I provide specifically states all the details and I receive a model release from the couple.

Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?

Full size, high resolution files will be given to the client of all pictures.

Will images be available for viewing online?

The client will receive their own password protected gallery for online viewing and sharing. They will have this gallery for one year from the date of the event photographed.

What kind of albums do you offer?

I design custom artistic albums and carry all materials, shapes and sizes. Every type of album is possible to order.

When will the client get the final album?

Album printing time depends on the type of album the client ends up choosing. If the album is made in the US, it is typically 4-6 weeks after we finalized the design. If the client picks an Italian-made album (most of my clients do), it is 2-3 months from the time the design is agreed upon and payment is received.

Additional Advice

There are many photographers out there so why would you pick StantonPhotoStudios over anyone else?

The answer is simple: You will look good on every picture because Angela will analyse your facial features and make sure you are posed in the best possible position and light at all times. We all have issues with our bodies--even models do! But that is something even a good photographer can help you hide. A great photographer, like we are, will make sure that you will look great even if what you consider to be a flaw is not hidden. We know how to show your best features off under any and every condition.
