Roger came through with short notice and did a fantastic job, and fell within our budget which was great. He took time to learn everything we needed on extremely short notice and helped us a lot with learning the process for forms and paperwork. Thanks Roger, highly reccomended!

Roger Morgan, owner of Starlen Weddings was the perfect fit for our wedding. He was caring and sincere from the very first day and we were so glad we selected him to marry us on our day.

We discovered weeks before the wedding, that his wedding anniversary was on the same day as our wedding and despite that being a special day for him, he still agreed to perform our ceremony. He and his wife joined our family & friends at our reception which even more so solidified our decision to have him as our officiant. We highly recommend Starlen for your wedding day needs.

Roger is amazing. He is down to earth, extremely good-natured and brings a peacefulness to what is generally an otherwise very hectic day. He cares deeply about everyone he comes into contact with. This trait is one of the most memorable, and endearing ones that he has, and for which I am so appreciative on my special day. Thanks so much to Roger Morgan and Starlen Weddings!

No issues with Roger at all. He was very good... sat down with us a couple of times to discuss the details. He was very reasonable in his pricing, too. He seems like a very good guy and accomodated all of our requests.

What officiant services do you provide?

What religious affiliations do you serve?

Can you accommodate the hearing impaired?

Yes

Are you willing to perform a ceremony at a non-religious site?

Yes, I have performed weddings for prison inmates, Agnostic and Atheist, and people not committed to any belief. My belief is personal to me and I do not judge or expect others to believe exactly as I do. I respect others beliefs.

What is your attire for the ceremony?

Generally a black suit or charcoal suit with a starched shirt and matching tie. I also have a light grey suit and pin stripe suit, with ties to match any brides color scheme. Just let me know!

Are you flexible in the wording used throughout the ceremony, including the vows?

It is the couple's wedding ceremony. I have vows to choose from if a couple wants a foundation to start with. They can add or subtract anything they like. The ceremony should always compliment the couple's personalities and their beliefs and lifestyle.

Do you allow the couple to write their own vows, if desired?

Many couples write their own vows completely, but most have used sample vows and accommodated them to fit their personalities. We have added parental honoring, unity candle, sand ceremony, and cultural or religious traditions

Do you have a list of readings pre-selected, from which the couple must choose?

Yes, I have many readings to select from, with all religions and non-religious to choose from.

How long are your ceremonies?

That depends entirely on what the couple wants.

Do you require that premarital counseling be done?

No I do not. I am trained in family counseling though and I am happy to discuss premarital issues with a couple if desired.

Are you willing to perform pre-ceremony rehearsals?

Yes, most couples like me to be at their rehearsal. Then we are all on the same page for the actual ceremony. I take an active part in the rehearsal, unless they have a wedding coordinator.

Do you supply a sound system?

DJ's seem to have the best sound system already in place.
