Starlite Entertainment DJ's

Both Bob and Neil came to DJ our event, as we had a fairly complex setup requiring several sets of sound equipment. Both Bob & Neil were very professional, but also friendly and pleasant to work with. We did not provide them with a specific playlist, but rather gave examples of songs we liked and then let them run with it - which I would strongly encourage everyone else to do as well. They did an absolutely fantastic job of feeling and responding to the crowd, and getting everyone involved in the dancing and partying. They also brought some fun lighting equipment (and balloons!) that they used judiciously to add to the overall flavor of the event. I would strongly recommend Starlite entertainment to anyone, and suggest you give them a free hand in picking the music rather than trying to dictate a playlist. This is what they do for a living, and they are very good at it.

Nick and I want to send a huge thank you for making our wedding a night we will never forget!!!!!! Our vision for our reception was for "one big party" with lots of dancing, great music, lots of laughs and unforgettable memories with our dearest friends and family - you MORE THAN EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS! We were referred to you by family friends after they had used you for two of their daughters weddings and we could not be happier! I would definitly recommend Starlite entertainment ANYTIME FOR ANY EVENT - as we were planning our VT wedding from CT, we were able to meet with Scott via skype and he was more than accomodating with scheduling a time to get things straight before our big day. Scott was also right there immediately following our ceremony to ask if there was anything else we needed and he went above and beyond to ensure us and our bridal party were comfortable - he was even right there with a nice refreshing cold glass of water! Any last minute changes we made were easily accomodated and the flow of our reception went very smoothly with Scotts guidance. Again, we can't thank you enough and we will always remember our wedding as one "big party", just as we had envisioned.

Starlite DJ was absolutely amazing. They made our wedding day extra special. Scott went above and beyond my expectations and I cannot thank him enough. He kept the reception moving and the dance floor hopping all night. I would without a doubt use them again and suggest their service to anyone planning a wedding.

We had the pleasure of working with Neil from Starlite Entertainment DJs for our wedding. I have had multiple friends and family members tell me that they have not danced so much at a wedding as they did at ours! I personally did not leave the dance floor for the majority of the night. Neil was extremely professional, attentive to details, e.g., pronunciation of people names in our wedding party and knowing where our grandparents were sitting in the reception so that he could recognize them during the introductions. The flow of events during the reception was seamless. We are so grateful to Neil and Starlite for the incredible job they did.

Neil at Starlite Entertainment was fantastic and made our reception so much fun. He was extremely easy to work with and so accommodating, chatting with us at length before the wedding to make sure all of our music needs were met. He covered both the ceremony (which was outside) and the reception, so we didn't have to worry about a thing. He got everyone up dancing, fielding special requests and pulling out props (sunglasses, leis, hats) for both the kids and the adults. I've been to weddings where nobody dances, and I think I can safely say that if Neil is your DJ, that will never happen!

Scott was great all around! Everyone at our wedding spent the next day talking about what a wonderful DJ we had. Scott knew just how to keep the party going without dominating at all. Thank you!

Starlite Entertainment, and specifically Neil Aguilar, was one of the best choices I could have made for my wedding! Not only was Neil reasonably priced, but all the extra things he did, and special attention to detail he paid to both me and my husband, but also to our family members and guests was exceptional. Neil's thoughtfulness played a huge role in all the entertainment. In each of our conversations, he was thorough, and so enthusiastic about making our wedding be personable and memorable. When the night came, Neil truly delivered! The guests literally danced the whole time, and even our flower girl, an amazing 5 year old dancer, was highlighted by Neil during the reception. He gave her a pink hat which she wore proudly. He honored both sets of our parents with an anniversary song, and gave flowers to the couple who had been married the longest.

My parents are still getting phone calls saying this was one of the best (if not the best) wedding they had been to. I know it would have been a different experience if Neil had not been at the helm. I was not as excited at first, about a DJ, but after this experience, I would definitely use Starlite again. Thank you!!

I wanted to thank you for the excellent DJ services you provided for Caitlyn and Ken’s wedding. I’ve had so many friends and family members tell me it was the best wedding they have ever been to. If you need any recommendations, please don’t hesitate to send people my way if they want to talk – I have no problem with it. All the extras, the hats the beads etc were a great touch, and everyone also loved the idea of the couples kissing when the glasses were clinked - that was great! We had a great time, and Thanks SO MUCH for helping make my daughter and son in laws day PERFECT!!

Neil was fabulous. He met with us before the wedding to go over all of the details, and found some of our special requests. He kept the party going on the HOTTEST of all summer days, and he even got the kids and grandparents involved. He'd previously DJed for both my brother's and my best friend's weddings, and he played their wedding day songs in their honor. We loved his work at previous weddings, and he did an outstanding job at ours!

We had Neil from Starlite Entertainment as our DJ for our summer wedding in 2011. Neil was one of the most professional, organized and talented people we have had the pleasure of meeting. He made our wedding absolutely perfect and made the reception flow flawlessly. He was able to incorporate all of our guests in the entertainment and had such unique & fun props/games for us to enjoy. Bob was our Starlite DJ for our small barn wedding in VT. After dinner he started to shake things up by passing a baton to each table and having each person dance with the baton around their tables. At first I was skeptical, but while all this was going on I looked around and everyone was laughing and having a good time, and so was I. We sent Bob a list of songs we wanted to hear, but he also took requests from the guests, and also went with some of his own songs that weren't on our list, but suitable for our tone. He did a great job, and our guests had a lot of fun. I was happy that he really got the entire group dancing! It was just amazing to see all our friends dancing with both our parents and relatives! We would recommend them for your wedding, too!

Neil was nothing but professional, energetic and experienced. He was beyond my expectations. He was able to alter a particular song I wanted to play for the processional so that it would play certain parts that I requested. He kept the reception alive until the very end, playing music that got everyone on the dance floor. He played the music for the ceremony, cocktail hour,dinner and reception and did a phenomenal job. And the best part was that he made us a cd with all of the music played during our wedding so that we would remember that day forever! Highly recommended! Thanks Neil!

Neil was fantastic! He played exactly what we wanted and knew what to play to get people out on the dance floor. The DJ's from Starlite Entertainment do everything to make your day extra special and they exceeded our every expectation!

Neil was very professional, well prepared, and provided a very enjoyable evening on our wedding day. He took the time to sit down with us months in advance to help make that evening memorable for us. He didn't leave the agenda completely up to us, which was nice because we really didn't know exactly what to do. His experience as a DJ really showed when he gave us suggestion after suggestion of fun activities for our guests. He had our entire group of guests dancing until late in the evening and there was never a dull spot. We highly recommend Neil and Starlite DJ.

We couldn't have been happier with our choice for our DJ at Starlite Entertainment. Neil (our DJ) at Starlite was the coordinator we didn't have and coordinated with our caterer and photographer to make sure things were moving smoothly. In the beginning, a few months before the wedding, we spent an hour and half on the phone going over what our likes and dislikes are, also answering questions Neil had for us and in the process he learned about us and got a vibe for what we would like. He really put both of us at ease and educated my husband to be about the tons of tiny details that would be going into the evening. My husband had no idea that so much went into it! We would HIGHLY recommend Starlite Entertainment DJ's for your event, they are professional, organized, and so great to work with! As a bride that only had 6 months of an engagement before getting married, I was off and on frantic! There were several times that I changed my mind about a song or how something was going to happen in the reception, Neil never got stressed or showed any signs that I was driving him crazy, he just ran with what we gave him and he gave us the best night ever! Everyone at our wedding was talking about how great the music selection was, the actual volume being perfect, and how he kept the crowd going with a few fun games (not corny ones!).

Starlite was amazing! Neil sat down with us before our wedding and helped us figure what would really reflect my husband's and my personality, and the mood and setting we wanted for our wedding. Then he made it happen on our wedding day! And that day, they surprised us with some extra little touches that were perfect for us which our guests loved! So many people have told us how much fun they had at the reception, which was exactly what we were hoping for! I remember sitting back at one point seeing tons of people on the dance floor smiling and having a blast, and thought goal accomplished!!! One of our guest just contacted Neil and has scheduled Neil for her own wedding in June 2011. All that to say, Starlite Entertainment definitely gets a 5/5!

My favorite thing about Starlite DJs is that Neil listened to me when I told him what I wanted for my wedding. So many wedding vendors like to do things their own way so it was refreshing to work with someone so cooperative. But Starlite DJs was also really good at taking the temperature of the room and keeping people on the dance floor. He was professional from beginning to end. My guests still tell me how great Starlite DJs was and my wedding was two months ago! Starlite DJs was also a great value compared to other DJs I had looked at. I'd highly recommend them to any bride!

My husband and I got married in December and to this day when we see people who were at our wedding they tell us that the DJ at our wedding was one of the best wedding DJ's they've seen/heard. We danced from start to end and the dance floor was packed! Neil gages the crowd and plays music that has EVERYONE dancing from your grandparents to your college friends. Before your wedding you meet with Neil and he takes such time and care in hearing your requests, getting to know you and what you want, and then he rolls it out seamlessly and beautifully. We could not of had a better DJ... Starlite Entertainment DJ's are not good or even great...they truly are the best in the business. We were so lucky to find them.

Scott was wonderful!! He has a great personality and kept our guests lively! He had lots of unique games and 'accessories' that he brought to our reception that made it a night to remember!! He did a fantastic job!

I first saw Scott in action at a wedding convention in Burlington and he seemed like so much fun that i hired him for my own wedding. Scott was an excellent DJ for our wedding. He provided the music for our ceremony and reception. He has an extensive musical knowledge and is highly experienced at weddings. He was a great coordinator and kept us all on track. He acted as a great MC for our wedding and provided lots of laughs and entertainment. He provided great giveaways during the night of dancing. He was very professional and worth the cost. We ended up hiring him for an extra 2 hours of dancing because everyone was having so much fun. You can also have your guests comes prepared with their iPods and he can plug them in and have them play some of their favorite songs at your wedding. He was very professional and definitely kept the guests going. The open bar helped a little too. Their DJ services were a bit cheaper than some of the others i researched in Vermont.

Everyone is still talking about the fantastic job that Keith and Starlite Entertainment did at our wedding reception. A DJ can either make or break a reception and Starlite really kept the flow of the festivities going. They took the time to meet with us ahead of time to go over song choices and what they shouldn't play. They also didn't do a lot of crowd interaction games since we find those to be annoying. I can't speakly highly enough for the fun time that they provided us.
