Stems did an amazing job at our wedding. Stems did a friend's wedding a few years ago and those were the most amazing flowers I had ever seen. I originally met with several recommended florists in addition to Stems because I thought Stems was out of my price range. The quote came in a little higher but the difference in the quality was pretty obvious. First, I was impressed by the initial consultation with Allison. The other places were really looking for me to tell them what to do, and I couldn't because I had a vague notion of what I wanted. When I met with Allison, she listened and really helped me articulate what I was looking for and gave the creative direction that I really needed. Another thing that I really liked about Stems is that they consider what the room will look like and are making suggestions/designs with the overall effect in mind. They were also really accommodating. We used our own vases because we wanted people to be able to take the centerpieces home. They even threw in a few extra vases when we were short. At the wedding, the flowers were absolutely gorgeous and there were tons of them. I can see why they cost a little bit more and thought it was quite the value when I saw the finished product. I would highly recommend them.

Allison at Stems was our florist. She did an amazing job, but it was a bit expensive. I don't really know anything about flowers, so I gave Allison some very general ideas about what I wanted, and the flowers she picked were wonderful. We got so many compliments! I especially loved the centerpieces. We were going with an "old time" wedding, and Allison picked these beige ceramic flower pots that looked very vintage, and they were perfect. Also, I loved my bouquet! I would highly recommend Stems.

Working with Allison was amazing. I gave her a couple pictures, told her a few things I liked and a few things I didn't like and that was all it took for her to read my style and create arrangements that were an amazing focal point to our wedding!

The flowers were by far the easiest part (on my end) to my big day. She had everything under control and I didn't have to worry at all!

Allison & the team at Stems was AMAZING! Flowers and Decor were a priority for me and I had a decent budget for it, but not unlimited. Allison was wonderful and giving me ideas and working with me to prioritize things to make the most of what I could spend. She was always responsive and I changed my mind about a few things along the way. In the end, my wedding was absolutely stunning and totally memorable because of Stems. Highly Recommend!

I am so disappointed! I am getting married this year and wanted to use Stems for my flowers. I met with Allison to give her an idea of what I wanted and everything seemed fine. She emailed me a proposal, and even though they were considerably higher than a few of the other proposals I had gotten, I was still thinking I would use Stems because their work seemed so great. I made an appointment with Allison to see a sample for my centerpieces before I went ahead, and I am so glad I did.
I arrived to my appointment on time. I was told Allison was in a meeting and would be done shortly. So, I just had to stand around in her shop, there was no place to even sit and wait. Then, after about 25 minutes of waiting, Allison calls down on the intercom to ask if her appointment was there. Her staff told her I was. She was just checking in after 25 minutes??? Allison finally came down with the clients she had been meeting with after I had been standing around waiting for 45 minutes. She then informed me that the 2 men where the fathers of the bride and groom..and that they had been there talking for 2 hours.

Now, I am not stupid. Clearly, these men where going to put down a chunk of change on flowers for their children's wedding. So, apparently it was OK to let me stand and wait rather than wrap up her meeting on time with these men because of the amount of money they were going to spend compared to the amount of money I was going to spend. So unprofessional. My wedding flowers are important to me and I want the florist I work with to think that they are important, too. My time is also no less important and I deserve no less respect when I am paying for a service.
At that point, I ran upstairs to glance at the centerpieces and left. Allison could have had golden roses, with cascading mounds of jewelled orchids streaming all over the table and it would not have mattered. If I am forking over over three grand, I am going to give it to someone who is going to be professional, courtesy and attentive. Stems might do beautiful work, but the lack of professionalism, especially for the prices they charge, leaves a lot of be desired. Take your money elsewhere, people...

Not only were the flowers right on time for morning before the wedding pictures but they were the most beautiful arrangements and flowers I have ever seen. The ceremony was glowing in candle light draped with white fabric and the reception was so grand with the giant vases and arrangements on every take ad in every nook of the room making it feel like a flower wonderland. I will never forget how all the colors complimented all the other planned decorations and outfits through out the entire event. Thank you so much!

This was a challenging part of the wedding for me - so expensive and so many options. Allison at Stems was far and away the best florist I met with. I sent over a bunch of pictures and she somehow crystalized it all into a vision. It was amazing. She did a trial on our centerpiece which was really helpful so you could see the quality of the work, and amongst the trials we had - hers was spot on. The quality of the flowers on our Wedding day were amazing - huge fresh blooms very skillfully assembled. We only had one mix up (one extra mens corsage and one short on the womens) but we made it work. I would highly recommend having an aunt or bridesmaid assigned to doublecheck any large flower order before the florist leaves! Our centerpieces were amazing.

Stems did an amazing job on our flowers. They were incredible and exceeded all expectations. They were so sweet and a real pleasure to work with. I wasn't sure what exactly I wanted and Allison talked to me and came up with wonderful ideas that completely fit the theme and look I was going for. Incredible!

Stems provided the flowers for our wedding and they looked AMAZING! We had a lot of people compliment us on the flowers, and they really helped set the mood for the wedding. Allison was wonderful to work with, it was like she was able to read our minds! We were very satisfied with the overall quality of the products delivered, as well as her flexibility in incorporating elements we purchased ourselves!

I went into my wedding with a very distinct idea of what I wanted and Allison and her team did not disappoint! I liked hearing her thoughts & ideas and then on wedding day she put it all together and made my vision perfect!

The flowers were absolutely beautiful!!! My bouquet was exactly what I wanted: orange cala lillies tied with a ribbon. The centerpieces were so original....prettier than I imagined. Barbara is so creative. I would definitely recommend her for another event.

I love this place! I needed bouquets for 4 bridesmaids, my bouquet, 9 boutonnieres and 6 corsages. I told Allison that information, said I like red roses and white calla lilies, and said she should just do whatever she could with my relatively TINY budget of $500. Honestly, it was so little money compared to some of the quotes I'd gotten at other places that I wasn't sure she could pull it off at all, and I certainly wasn't expecting to have the pretty flowers I had always wanted. WOW was I surprised when we picked up the flowers and they were absolutely beautiful! They were more than I could have ever expected and they looked like a million bucks! They were put together with such attention to detail and skill. I gasped when I saw my bouquet! I can't say enough about Stems, and I recommend them for all your flower needs 150%.

Allison from Stems was a pleasure to work with. Our flowers and chuppah were amazing. Allison was able to create the designs based on our vision, adding her own creativity. We had compliments throughout the night on how gorgeous the deisgns were and they made a lasting impression on all of our guests. In addition, Allison will come to your tasting with examples of the centerpieces so that you can get an idea of what the final product will look like. I recommend Stems to anyone who is getting married in the Chicago-land area.

Stems Inc made the most beautiful flowers for my wedding. There was no skimping on quality or quantity. Everything was fresh, beautiful, tasteful, and exactly what we had talked about. Would HIGHLY recommend to those with the budget to do so! They book up fast, so hurry.

Unique and one of a kind. Alison completely took out all of her tricks and transformed a bland tent into a beautiful and natural paradise with candleabras hanging from the ceiling and willow branches disguising metal poles.

They are amazing. I just told them that I liked an arrangment on their website, and the colors and left it to them. They were beautiful, so modern and creative and a great value. I will use them again and again.

They did everything I wanted. I showed them a picture and told them what colors and ideas I liked and she outdid that! My flowers were the most gorgeous thing I have ever seen. Everyone commented on the flowers, and wanted to know where I got them. I would use them for all my flower needs!

Flew all the way from Chicago. It was great. All to get the tulips we wanted.

Flowers were beautiful! The people at Stems were great to work with, they listened to what I wanted (a little funky and non traditional) and produced gorgeous arrangements. A bit pricey but wedding flowers always are. But they were totally worth it!
