She was very patient and helped me stay calm throughout my wedding planning and always read my emails and found time to talk with me when I needed her. A lot of emotional and stressful things occurred during my planning and Steph was more than a coordinator, she became my friend. My rehearsal and rehearsal dinner flowed seamlessly thanks to Steph. On my wedding day, I was nervous and stressed and Stephanie helped me stay calm and my day went off as perfect as it could and I was a very relaxed and happy bride when I arrived at my reception. I know that I am a lot more detailed than the average person and all of my personal details and décor ideas were perfectly executed by Stephanie. My friends and family loved her as well. She handled the set up of all the details, the rehearsal of a bridal party of 18, and all the glitches that came up during the night, she took care of. We didnt have to lift a finger. She picked up our menus, programs, favors, etc. at the rehearsal so we wouldnt have to worry about anything. And the night of, she had our room cleaned and decorated with flowers and candles leading up to the bedroom. It was so beautiful and romantic. I would definitely book stephanie in a heartbeat! Stephanie was extremely organized and had a lot of knowledgeable information. There were a few things that I wanted that were not standard and some of them got changed on the wedding day, but all were minor in the scheme of things (I had requested a plate of appetizers since we were going to miss the cocktail reception and never got it, guest cards were not placed where I wanted them, etc). We had some chaos due to an issue with one of the events, and Stephanie responded quickly and efficiently to keep things running smoothly.

I was so lucky to have so many wonderful vendors working with me for my wedding. To be honest there was no point in time that I was ever dissapointed with any aspect of the entire event. Unless of course you count being dissapointed that it wasn't longer. As much as I loved all of my vendors, none of it would have been possible without Stephanie. She referred me to all of them. The only problem I ever had was deciding which vendors to choose because she introduced me to so many wonderful, professional, talented people. She did a wonderful job with everything and was there the day of the event to make sure that every detail went smoothly...not to mention that she is very easy to work with and a lovely person. I would absolutely recommend her to a friend. She was even able to keep all 7 of the groomsmen in line, which was very impressive to say the least. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up for Stephanie.

Stephanie Lairson is the perfect person to be a wedding coordinator. She always knows exactly what to do. Every detail of the wedding was taken care of seamlessly. I can honestly say I wouldn't have been able to enjoy my wedding if it wasn't for Stephanie. Even before the wedding, she helped me find the right color card stock for my invitation and helped me stamp and emboss escort cards. She did all that with no extra charge, because she really cared that I had my dream wedding, whatever it took. I had a disaster encounter with my first florist and she resolved it. On top of that she referred me to a wonderful florist that made these amazing floral arrangements. Sometimes people tell you it's a waste of money to hire wedding coordinators, but I have to admit, that is so not true. Stephanie was so worth it!

Stephanie Lairson was a god send. I could not have done this without her. I just didn't have the time and the knowledge of where to start on somethings.

She was always happy and positive and in your corner no matter what crazy things I wanted. Stephanie understood it was an important event in your life and you would never know she had many other clients. I just can't speak highly enough.

One week before my wedding I tried on my altered dress only to find she ruined the lines of the back of the dress. Stephanie came and helped me get a refund and personally went with me to a seamstress she trusted to get it fixed.

I had so much fun and Stephanie took so much worry and stress away from the event. I was able to enjoy my day (even though I got stuck in traffic and was late but I live in LA) and did not worry about a thing.

For us, her services removed the underlying stress of many things, particularly the wedding day itself. Stephanie took charge of the coordination and made certain the day unfoled just as we wanted it. We were able to have an amazing day and not worry about a thing.

Here's what I loved:
1. She arrived in the morning to assist with hair/makeup, photography, flower arrival and cake setup. It completely put me at ease.
2. She organized the guest seating just as I'd planned - programs, favors, menus, dessert boxes, etc.
3. She interacted and took care of guests which put them at ease, too. Her personal attention to detail - and people - was above and beyond. With her assistant, she took care of every last item. Guests felt like they had someone to turn to with questions, which worked out well.
4. Prior to the wedding, meetings were productive and fun. Her sense of style, attention to the smallest (but important) details and abilty to appreciate unique family dynamics were wonderful. I feel very fortunate that our wedding was able to fit into Stephanie's schedule.
5. Her vendor recommendations were spot on. We were thrilled with each and recieved compliments from friends and family on all. Many friends we know were disappointed with their photographer, cake and flowers - not us. We still use each of them today for other events.

There is so much more to rave about. The money we spent for Stephanie's services were well worth it. I actually feel like her services were worth much more than we paid. Stephanie made our Santa Monica wedding go from great to perfect.

Stephanie Lairson was our "Month-of" Wedding Coordinator and she was fantastic! She is very organized, personable and professional. I wanted my husband and I to enjoy our wedding day and not have to worry about the many details and issues that would come up during the days leading to our wedding and especially on the day of our wedding. Having Stephanie there definitely made us relax and enjoy. Stephanie's services were top-notch and well worth it. I would recommend her over and over again =).

My husband and I had a tight budget for a coordinator. Since we lived out of state, we had to manage everything long distance which made everything harder on us. We were getting married at St. Regis and most of the hotel required coordinators were charging a lot of money for the two months service. We met with many of the coordinators but at the end, our choice was Stephanie Lairson. As a bride who had to decide on everything in less than 4 months, I needed a person to managed everything I had already decided on and assist me on the undecided items. She has great tastes, is very patient and detail oriented. Most importantly, she is a very caring person. I remember it was a week until our wedding and I still had to put together my favors. With the help of my cousins we did 1/3 of them, but still 2/3 had to be done. When she heard I still need to finish the favors she voluntarily suggested that she will do it for me, it was such a relief and many thanks to her to help me out in such a stressful situation. On the day of the wedding, I didn’t need to worry about anything and I could celebrate the best day of my life with my husband.

Stephanie Lairson is an outstanding professional! I wouldn't plan a picnic without consulting her in the future. I can't imagine anyone planning a wedding without Stephanie's help. In the days, weeks, months leading up to the big day, Stephanie was the personification of the phrase "going above and beyond". Stephanie Lairson makes miracles happen. From creating a setting that is personal and completely "you" to managing hard-to-handle relatives (even when they don't speak English), Stephanie is a dream.

When I began planning my wedding, I didn't have a clear picture in my head of what I wanted things to look like. I had some pictures from wedding magazines, favorite colors and a general idea of the atmosphere I wanted to create, but Stephanie took all of these little pieces and created my dream wedding. The day of the wedding should have been chaotic. Stephanie was incredible about making sure I had space to get ready and time to revel in the experience. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! Everyone told me to enjoy the wedding planning but I don't think I truly understood what everyone meant until today. Now that I am happily married, I have to say, its very good advice. Wedding planning is a fun process.

With that in mind, I do whole-heartedly believe that my wedding planning process was fun and not stressful because I had Stephanie to help me. Like you, I had a few wedding consultants in mind when I first contacted Stephanie, but after meeting her for the first time, I felt like we connected and I didn't feel the need to meet any other consultants. I hired her about 15 minutes after our first meeting. I think that's the most important quality you should have in a wedding consultant, a connection, since this person will be your delegate and voice your opinion when you might not be there. I felt like Stephanie "got" me and understood the look/feel I wanted for our wedding, and most importantly, she understood what I thought was important. She took the time to understand me and could offer advice based on what she thought I would want.

Stephanie was always very responsive (whether I emailed her or phoned her). I could bounce ideas off her...whether asking for advice on bridesmaid dresses or favors....nothing seemed outside of her realm. On the day of our wedding, she was there to run everything smoothly, but invisible at the same time. To this day, I believe my wedding went off without a hitch (but I may be uncompletely unaware of all the glitches...which is the way it should be).

I had most of my vendors booked already by the time I hired Stephanie (I had already chosen the venue, photographer, videographer and DJ), but Stephanie had fantastic recommendations for my other vendors (stationary, linens, lighting, cupcakes and flowers). I cannot tell you how many compliments I received on our floral decorations (we went with Gilly Flowers).

I think one of Stephanie's best qualities is her flexibility. She allowed me to be me. She understood my budget constraints and had helpful advice on how to trim things so I could truly have the wedding of my dreams. She could go with the flow but also exert some oomph (....needed to round up the wedding party for pictures).

I don't know what else to say about Stephanie except that I feel that you can't go wrong if you go with her services.

After I got married, people would ask what advice I would give to brides-to-be and here are the two things I always say:

1. Hire a wedding consultant and
2. Don't leave for your honeymoon the day after your wedding, wait at least 2 days.

Congratulations again! And enjoy every moment of the planning process, but most of all, enjoy every moment of your wedding, it goes by in a flash.

Wow, we are so grateful to Stephanie for all of her incredible help at the rehearsal and on the wedding day. I completely planned this wedding by myself from top to bottom, and made every single decision. With that said, I tried to advance every detail to make sure that there wouldn't be any surprises on the big day. What I wasn't prepared for (and didn't handle very well,) was the fact that apparently not all people are as organized and on top of things as I am. This was very difficult for me to digest, as various family members held up the schedule here and there for whatever reasons. Every time it happened though, Stephanie was right there to reassure me that everything was fine and not to worry. She had a total command of all of the stuff I brought, and where everything had to go and how it was to be set up. Whenever I needed anything, or needed her to find anyone..Stephanie was right there for me. While I was getting my make-up done and getting dressed, she was helping to set up the ceremony area, made sure that my fiance didn't barge into the room I was in, that extraneous family stayed out of my way and more. She helped me get into my dress, kept the champagne flowing, worked with my photographer to move family in and out of frame quickly and smoothly. Stephanie seemed to be in five places at once, handling every detail as I would have handled them myself. She is absolutely incredible, and calm and smart and EXPERIENCED. All of these qualities were invaluable to me and my family on our wedding day. Stephanie stayed until the very bitter end of the night, and lit candles and spread out red roses and rose petals all over the room where we spent the wedding night. I love her, and would recommend her to every couple. All of you "hands-on" brides out there, please do yourself a favor and hire a coordinator. It will help you relax and enjoy on the most beautiful day of your life.

I'm honored by your request in reference to Stephanie Lairson. A fine professional by any measure, Stephanie instantly struck me with her charming personality and tireless charisma. With the advantage of working with Stephanie as an entertainer at several events over the years, I have come to know her as an assertive, detailed professional with a knack for being cool under pressure. Time constraints limit me from giving you a truly comprehensive detail of my experience with Stephanie but I give you the following thoughts…

My wedding at La Venta, like several Stephanie & I have worked on together, involved a great many details requiring all aspects of wedding planning & coordination. Through my involvement in the wedding industry I secured several of our vendors (we had many) prior to hiring Stephanie but then passed on several other planning/hiring components to her including vendor resourcing of transportation, nanny service, out-of-town guests, design implementation (lighting, linens, florals, etc) to name a few. Stephanie worked with my wife by phone, email, and personally at several design based meetings with La Venta's rental company (Classic Rentals), our florist, as well as our finalization meeting with La Venta's coordinator/event designer Tim Kennedy. During this entire process I had total trust in Stephanie's abilities and talents to act on our behalf with a firm understanding of our expectations and desires. Se became a partner in our vision and I only wished that we had hired her sooner to assist my wife whose international work/travel schedule certainly challenged our planning time-frame.

To continue, as with some other prominent wedding venues, La Venta presents its own list of logistical challenges that must be thoughtfully & creatively addressed in order to fully maximize its true potential. It is a stunning location and your family & friends will speak of your day with great fondness (as our guests still do) but I cannot stress enough the importance of hiring professional vendors like Stephanie with direct experience working there. As you will begin to understand with La Venta's popularity (two events a day) there is quite an impressive behind-the-scenes effort that must take place under a tightly devised & executed time frame at each & every event. Your vendors will have a stricter window of time in which to prepare & perform their responsibilities and you too may find it challenging "day-of" without the aid of someone like Stephanie to prepare the bridal party for the celebration. Moreover, she will welcome & supervise the flow of guests with pleasant & personable interaction as your event unfolds which is simply a must at La Venta with its lovely gardens and various interior rooms.

In further praise…with an Eastern Indian theme for our wedding, Stephanie worked tirelessly with us in several aspects including invitations, place cards, guest gifts, ceremonial Hindu dancers, and floral options to name a few. Her sensitivity to our guests (100) traveling from as far as Bangkok, New York, & Detroit displayed through numerous compliments during & after the event. Of prominent concern was the nanny service of my three young nephews ages 1, 3 and 5. I wanted to ensure their safety while allowing my brother (best man) and his wife an opportunity to share in the festivities. Once again, Stephanie sourced & hired two very patient and reliable individuals with my complete trust & satisfaction. Stephanie's involvement in our wedding saved us considerable time & stress thus allowing for an optimal experience with our family & friends. Examples like these & several others proved the value of her talents above and beyond that of any financial measure.

I do not think you will find in this business of weddings, a better, personable, experienced and committed professional as Stephanie Lairson.

I second all of that! You were truly the best decision we made through this entire process (aside from agreeing to marry each other). The wedding was absolutely perfect, exactly what we wanted, so beautiful and so special. In fact, people kept calling my parents all day and telling them that it was the BEST wedding they’d ever been to. Maybe your other weddings are as wonderful, but these people were all saying it was the best...VERY high praise all the way around. I don’t know how you managed to pull the whole thing off, it felt flawless to me (even with the extensive toasts) and you ran a tight ship with a smile on your face!

Thank you for contacting me as a reference for Stephanie. I would love to share with you the wedding experience I had with her. Words cannot express enough the gratitude I have for Stephanie. She is absolutely AMAZING! She is organized, detailed, enthusiastic, meticulous, and has a great eye, not only for design, but for detail. My wedding could not
have been as spectacular without her help, organization, direction, and imagination.

Stephanie planned my entire wedding. I really did not have to think and obviously this is what I hired her for as I am very busy. I would tell her what I wanted or envisioned and she made it happen. She narrowed everything down and I made the final decisions. Wedding planning could not have been easier or more fun! Of course, she knew what I wanted and what kind of theme and "look" I was going for. She just took everything to the next level. We talked extensively before we started planning so she got to know my husband and me. She then incorporated our ideas and styles into the wedding.

I was just like you, shopping around extensively for a wedding coordinator. I probably called and interviewed every top coordinator in Orange County. But when I talked and met Stephanie, I knew that she would make my day and the wedding planning process fabulous and fun. Stephanie was not only my consultant, she became a great friend to me. She was practically my honorary maid of honor! She came to every meeting, even dress shopping!! We talked probably 2-3 times per week and as the wedding drew closer, we talked about 3-5 times per day! She was always available to meet, which was very different from the other coordinators I interviewed. The others had a set schedule of the number of meetings they would have with you and with vendors, but I feel that I was always in contact with Stephanie and I never felt alone or lost during the wedding process.

Stephanie really kept me on top of everything. Nothing was left to be forgotten. She made sure every payment, every decision, every call, every correction was made. She always kept my preferences and especially budget in mind. I just got too crazy and I wanted everything.....so Stephanie got me everything I wanted. She even got me 250 Chiavari chairs the day before my wedding!

My wedding day could not have run more smoothly or perfectly than it did thanks to her. She made sure we were all on time and that everything went according to the timeline. I did not have to worry about anything. If anything went wrong, I would have never known b/c she and her assistant Anne took care of it all!

Stephanie has a lot of great connections and contacts which are really an advantage when deciding which vendors to get. I am a huge researcher
on everything and Stephanie really provided me with the best of the best vendors in LA/Orange County. I had every vendor which she recommended to you. She has built such a great relationship with so many people in the wedding business. Every vendor I had adored her!

So as you can see, I could not have been happier or have chosen a better coordinator than Stephanie Lairson. I would highly recommend her to anyone. My husband, parents, friends, and in-laws were so impressed with her and her work. People are still talking about our wedding!
