Sterling Ballroom at the DoubleTree by Hilton Tinton Falls - Eatontown

We got married at the Sterling Ballroom on March, 22, 2013. The day was absolutely awesome! The room was decorated beautifully, to my exact specifications and then some. I had forgotten a few things that I had put into my list and they actually provided those small things for me so that I didn't have to run out and get them myself.

Before our wedding, we had a few small issues with contract information that was not correct. The girls fixed it but with some errors still. Finally after a bunch of emails, it was fixed. The catering department was also having a few employee changes. Despite all of this stuff, our day was wonderful!!!

The value of having our reception there was awesome. And the presidential suite is unparalleled. However, the HUGE shower stinks when it comes to taking an actual shower. I would have preferred a nice bathtub and a regular shower. I ended up showering in someone else's room.

All in all- we had a great time and everything ended up working out. We really enjoyed working with this group of people and will refer them to others for weddings and other...

I had my wedding on 3/1/13 Danielle and staff is amazing.... They do not deserve 5 stars they deserve 10..My groomsmen is not an easy crowd to deal with they are loud and Danielle had all the patience in the world... When I was feeling over whelmed she made me feel relaxed. Everytime I emailed her about any concerns I had she replied right away... She walked me through every step of the way.. The night of was amazing the staff made sure my husband and I had everything we needed.. Also the pricing was so reasonable and right in our budget!!! You guys are definitely the best all my guests are still talking about our wedding.... we could not thank you enough...

We want to thank the staff of the Doubletree hotel and Sterling Ballroom for making our wedding an amazing night. We had a unique situation in that our caterer was out sick, but while she was sick she was still available by phone to answer any questions that we or the hotel staff had. I must add that we didn't evey need to reach out because she was on top of everything even though she couldn't physically be there.

Our banquest Captain Nemo was a-ma-zing! Honestly I was nervous when I didn't see Danielle there that things would go wrong, but he did everything in his power to make sure everything went well and make sure I was comfortable. He also went the extra mile assisting both my husband and myself because we were very sick ourselves the day of the wedding so he made sure that we had gingerale not champagne in our glasses, and that we were as comfortable as can be. He really and truly made sure that everything was perfect on our special day and I am so thankful for him and the staff that were there to help.

I will add that the chef and cooks did an exceptional job. Typically when you go to a wedding you have people who think the food is blah or complain about something....everyone came to us and said on top of everything looking beautiful that all of the food was delicous!

I highly recommend going to Danielle and her staff at the Sterling Ballroom if you want a beautiful wedding!

We had our reception here at the Sterling Ballroom in December. Everyone can't stop raving about how awesome the evening was. The process started with us meeting Danielle, who told us about the winter wonderland package. What a great deal for everything we got! Danielle was awesome, constantly emailing me back about any question/concern that I had and really made me feel special.
For cocktail hour we had our own separate room filled with food and a server who came to get some drinks for the wedding party. Danielle and the staff made sure everyone was shuttled into the ballroom for the reception. Then, she helped line us up and told us Nemo would be able to take care of anything else we would need. As we were about to enter, I was told my seating chart was off and that some guests were missing seats. I figured it was something I would have to deal with yet before I got the chance to tell anyone, Nemo was rolling out another table and chairs to accommodate the guests who were misplaced. That was absolutely amazing. This really helped save the night. Nemo and every server there were so attentive. Always asking if we would like another drink or anything else we needed. Our food was amazing and the cake was to die for. We also got the chocolate fountain. People loved it. They kept the bar open so we didn’t have to end at 11.
I’d highly recommend this venue to any bride. I don’t see a point in paying hundreds of dollars for 1 plate because the venue has great views. Go to the Sterling Ballroom for an amazing deal, and for great service. Every person I dealt with was over-the-top nice and helpful. The only reason I gave responsiveness a 4 is because I had some difficulty getting in touch with the person who did our hotel room blocks. I ended up having to email a few different people, and I got a few strange responses. However, it was nothing that getting in touch with Danielle couldn’t fix.

Danielle planned our wedding and provided the highest quality of service, for the best value in the area (Monmouth County, NJ). She responded to our requests promptly and even provided her personal cell phone number to contact her anytime. She maintained her professionalism the entire time, despite the stress of planning a wedding. She also, stayed late and came to work early to accommodate our schedule when meeting with her.

The day before the wedding, Danielle was able to negotiate a reasonable rate with the hotel manager to accommodate our lodging needs, as well as last minute guests on the day of the wedding. She was very helpful.

On the day of the wedding, we were very impressed with the ballroom. It was recently renovated and looked stunning with the complimentary uplighting. The cocktail hour spread with the elite package was overwhelming, with more food than I have ever seen at a wedding. The quality of food was excellent, which sometimes lacks quality at large venues. During the reception, cocktails were served at our table before we finished the drink in our hand and the line at the bar was always short. The entree at the wedding was probably the best I have tasted. I recommend the chicken florentine.

After the wedding the manager: Nemo emerged, who had been running the cocktail hour and reception the entire time. He offered to take the gifts and miscellaneous items up to room, so we could spend time with our departing guests. He was extremely professional, which reflected the service of the entire venue. Without his hard work, I doubt the cocktail hour and reception service would have run so...

My husband and I had our wedding here on October 27, 2012 and it was absolutely perfect. Danielle was incredibly helpful and did everything she could to make sure the night was exactly how we wanted it. She always made herself available and was there every time I had a question or concern. It was such a pleasure working with her. The staff is so kind and was always checking throughout the night to make sure things were going well. The food was delicious, the room looked amazing, and we couldn't have been happier with our experience. We would do it all over again in a heartbeat!

Having our reception at the Sterling Ballroom was one of the best (and easiest) decisions we made for our wedding. The venue is GORGEOUS. So much was included in our package and our bridal suite was EXQUISITE. You certainly get a lot for your money. The food was incredible! Our guests are still telling us how amazing the food was (and how much there was!)! The service was beyond phenomenal and the entire staff made my husband and I feel special and well taken care of. Danielle and Nemo were extremely accommodating and professional. They are extremely easy to work with! Thanks for making our wedding beautiful and unforgettable!

This venue is wonderful all around. The price is extremely competitive and they always offer opportunities to get a few things for free. My husband and I visited over 10 locations and this was one of the very few in this price range that was clean, well decorated, and offered everything we could imagine, and it wasn't gaudy! Danielle, the event planner, is a dream. She will work so hard to make sure your day is perfect. Its almost as if she takes every wedding as if its her own family members affair. Food is plentiful and is " good enough". The whole staff at the Double Tree is excellent. Having our whole wedding there made the day so stress free for us and allowed us to really enjoy our day. Some unknown gems about this place - largest bridal suite we saw hands down, for the brides, there is a bathroom that is large enough to fit you, your dress and 2 bridesmaids which is something that I never thought to look at on my venue tour, save money and worries about people drinking and driving because the hotel is so affordable everyone stays, a brunch the next day is also available and a great way to see those people you didnt see the night before, its awesome to have a bar/restaurant at the hotel, there is more but thats the top things I can think of right now. Oh and there is a perfect spot for a rehearsal dinner 1 mile away - Baumgarts. Check it out! Thank you so much!!

The staff at the Double Tree are amazing. The prices are reasonable. The food was delicious. We are still getting compliments. Danielle, the wedding coordinator was so sweet. Anything we needed or wanted she was like a genie in a lamp and she made it happen. Everything about the day was flawless. It truly was everything we had wanted for our wedding day. The venue is nice and clean. The hotel rooms for guests to stay were very nice as well. I highly recommend them.

The Staff at the Sterling Ballroom was just amazing! The food incrediable! Danielle was the most attentive person. I didn't need to worry about anything!

The room for the reception was done to exactly what I wanted. My theme was Black and A Splash.
My colors were Ivroy, Black, Fuschia, Granite, Purple, Royal Blue. The bows on the chairs matched all the colors in my wedding party with Ivroy table coverings, we had the cermony in the same room and the chairs were lined in 1 color per row.
It looked so awesome!

Our wedding coordinator changed from Alina (who left) to Danielle. Alina was great, and Danielle was good. Everything went off without a hitch except that they left my deceased grandfather's tallis on the chuppah and it rained the next day, so it is ruined (and irreplaceable). Needless to say, I am heartbroken by this. Also, there are no lights outside if you are having your ceremony in the dark and the pool was open, so through the ceremony people were splashing and screaming and doing their thing while we were trying to get married (and the rabbi couldn't see the book because of the poor lighting). At teh reception, my grandmother (who is in a wheelchair) asked a server if she could bring her water, and the woman told her no- she must go to the bar. That was a little disappointing... and I wish I would have had my ceremony inside. Besides those things, everything else was great. The food was great, the room looked beautiful, there was never a back-up at the bar... Knowing these little things could have made the experience a bit better, but all in all we are happy with the experience.

Danielle did a wonderful job coordinating our wedding and making it everything we hoped for! She quickly responded to all of my emails and put me at ease during the planning process. Our wedding was beautiful and the staff was very efficient and friendly during the event. We are very pleased!

My wedding was on June 16, 2012 at the Stirling Ballroom at the Doubletree Tinton Falls. It was the very first place that my husband and I toured when we began our search for our reception site. From the moment we met Danielle (our coordinator) we could both tell that choosing this place would mean wonderful service and no stress headaches or issues. We went on a walk through of all of the various rooms that would be open for our use (including the restrooms which are beautiful and large enough for any wedding dress!). We went over the various packages that they offered and were so impressed by everything that we decided to end our search immediately.
As I was doing this tour on my way down to my first semester as a senior in college, I was unable to be there in person to make a lot of the decisions until the last 2 months or so, but Danielle was more than happy to work with me over email as well as meet with my mother and sister (my maid of honor). She was truly more amazing than words can express. Many was the time I sent a frenzied email on the verge of panicking and she would send something back like "just breathe" or "relax it will be okay" along with answers to whatever was worrying me.
The day of went as amazing as the planning process. All of the staff was more than superb and SO attentive and helpful. One waitress even ran to her own purse to grab a safety pin to fix my bustle after it had fallen!
I am currently getting so much feedback about the fantastic food and service that it is hard to keep up with all of it. It seems like no matter who I speak with or what they ordered, it was amazing food. I know mine and my husbands prime ribs were cooked to perfection and pure delicious heaven.
I cannot say enough how grateful I am to Danielle and the entire staff for making my reception and in fact the entire day so amazing. It was such a non-stressful experience working with her and everyone there. I am honestly telling everyone I know to use them in the future and I think that 5 stars is about a million to few!!

Me and My husband had our wedding here at the sterling ballroom. We used for our reception and cermony and the place was beautiful. They did everything to perfection. The food was amazing, it was hot when served and if there was a problem with someone's plate they took care of it right away. All my guest say it was the most beautiful place for cermony and reception. They made sure that guest did not see me before the cermony and gave me and my husband a beautiful honymoon suite.

Everyone at the DoubleTree was a pleasure to work with. They were flexible with their price and a great value. Everyone who attended our wedding said the venue was beautiful, the food was great, and they had a fantastic time!

We had reserved a block of rooms for our ceremony about 3 months before the event. The event coordinator (Danielle), banquet staff (Nemo!), and hotel room sales coordinator (Nicole) were EXTREMELY professional, helpful and responded to all questions quickly! Tip: email worked best to get in touch with them (we preferred that as well.

Danielle is an event specialist extraordinaire! She was not only on top of our event all the way up to the day of the event, but made sure that our caterer (who gave us quite a few headaches!) ended up following up all of our schedules, etc. On the day of the ceremony, Nemo was really on top of his game, and made sure that the event staff conducted everything properly (we had a buffet style event, so that was handled to perfection as well!).

Overall, the hotel staff receives an A++!

My wedding reception was held at The Sterling Ballroom on 12/23/11. Everything was phenomenal. Alina and Danielle worked seemlessly with my wedding planner, and on that night I felt like I walked right into a dream. Everyone was very accomodating both before and during the wedding. The prices were unbeatable, they let me bring my own caterer, and the bridal suite provided the perfect "home away from home" on that day. I have my wedding here again IN A HEART BEAT!

We were married at the Doubletree in Tinton Falls/Eatontown on October 8, 2011. We couldn't have been more happy with how everything turned out, and all of our guests cannot stop raving about the evening. Alina worked with us from the beginning to ensure that our vision came to fruition. She was patient, knowledgeable and flexible with all of our questions/emails/phone calls. She and her staff made us and our guests feel so welcome - we were all bummed when it was over! During the reception, the servers were very accommodating, and our maitre'd Nemo took excellent care of everyone. There is nothing we would change if we had to do it all again!
We had a lot of out of town guests, and Domonique also worked a great nightly rate for our guests and was very accommodating when we needed additional rooms.
We couldn't be happier - our expectaions were definitely exceeded!

The service we received from the Sterling Ballroom @ Doubletree Hotel in Eatontown was amazing. ALINA did so much for us; it was like having a private WEDDING PLANNER. She took the stress out of planning a wedding. We looked at many places, but this one was the best. The packages they offer surpass the 10 other places we looked at. The prices were very reasonable. The place was gorgeous. We also had our ceremony there. Included in the package was our centerpieces, cake from the Chocolate Carousel, the bridal suite at the hotel, and personalized service. We also had guests who needed gluten & vegan free food. The chef & Alina made all that possible. The guests RAVED about the quality of the food at the cocktail hour & reception, along with the quantity. Everyone had a great time. I would HIGHLY recommend this vendor.

We just got married here on 7/31/10, and we could not have been happier with the way the wedding turned out. Not only did we get a great price for having our wedding here, the place is beautiful, the food was delicious and the staff was professional and friendly. Heidi was easy to work with, we must have emailed her with a million questions during the planning, she always got back to us immediately. We have absolutely no complaints about the venue and would recommend to anyone! Everyone there told us that the cocktail hour food and main meal were all amazing!

Overall we had a terrific experience at the Sterling Ballroom. We were fortunate enough to book the venue when they were having a special sale so we got a package for a lot less than it was worth. All throughout the planning process Heidi was there helping and any time I had a question she would email me back right away. The staff at the Sterling Ballroom was nothing short of professional and friendly. The menu was huge and the balllroom was beautiful. The hotel was newly renovated and everything went very well the day of the wedding. The cocktail hour was great and very abundant. There was so much food some guests thought that was the whole reception. My blue champagne fountain was beautiful but my mom made a suggestion that it should have been in the center of the room instead of all the way in the back. The cocktail hour flew by but the food that I did get to eat was good. However I didnt notice too many of the butler passed hors douvres. Nemo did a great job of setting everything up and making it look beautiful. The dinner was also very good. Ive been told that the food was great and that everyone had a great time. The only complaint I have is that there had to be at least 15 slices of cake left over but I have no idea where it went because we did not receive it to take home. The hotel was also excellent. Very clean and great ammenities. The bridal suite was beautiful and huge with a double sided fire place, a flat screen tv, king size bed and a huge shower that could fit 15 people. When we got to our room at the end of the night there was a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us. Breakfast the next morning was complimentary for us and was also delicious. Overall I was very pleased with the Holiday Inn of Tinton Falls.

We just had our wedding at the Sterling Ballroom in Tinton Falls and have to say that it was absolutely amazing!! Heidi Hutch, the Catering Director, was amazing to work with. She was both personal and professional and took care of everything we requested and went above and beyond to make sure that our night was perfect! We were first attracted to this venue because it was more affordable than a lot of venues in the area and we had a large wedding size (225 +), but this venue completely stands on its own...and was an amazing value for the quality of service and food! All of our guests said the cocktail hour was "one of the best" they had ever had and the dinner was not far behind! There were optional "add ons" which really enhanced the evening, like a raw bar, sundae bar, intermezzo and so on! The venue was exceptionally clean and is brand new and shows so well. Very large dance floor and decor is lovely. The front entrance was decorated beautifully and bathrooms all clean as well. They provided the front salon room for the photobooth we had and they set up the room more beautiful than I could ever have imagined. All and all, it is an excellent venue- great food, great service, great value. All of our guests were impressed and we were happy. The only complaint was there was only one bartender and the bar got a bit backed up (remember, we had a very large wedding party). Otherwise it was a perfect setting for the perfect reception!!! Heidi is a pleasure to work with from start to finish.

The Holiday Inn exceeded our expectations and made our wedding day perfect. We were the first couple to get married at there new outdoor ceremony and it was gorgeous. The food was excellent and the staff catered to our every needs. I would recommend this venor to anymore who wants a stress free wedding. They do it all for you.

We heard nothing but good things during and after the wedding about the atmosphere and the food, and Heidi made everything very easy for us. The guests were happy with the rooms. I would highly recommend the Sterling Ballroom at the Holiday Inn of Tinton Falls. Superior in every catagory. Service is outstanding.
