Steve is amazing!!! It's obvious that he loves what he does. He really listens to what you want and does everything he can to make you happy. He's perfect for even the pickiest bride. I can't say enough good things about him. He isn't the cheapest but worth every penny, (and honestly the DJ controls the flow of the evening and at least I felt not where you skimp on the budget anyway). If I ever needed a DJ I would hire him again in a heartbeat!

Steve is very passionate about his job and very knowledgeable about wedding music. We were not into deciding what we wanted for music until the last minute so he had a lot of suggestions and complimented us on the choices we did make. We basically put the choices into his hands and told him what we didn't want. He ran the rest on his own! He did a great job and really easy to work with.

The only reason that Steve did not get 5 stars is mostly because there were a bit of hiccups, but nothing major. Steve had great energy and there wasn't a moment in the night that people were not out on the dance floor. There were only a few times that the wrong song was played, but only because my groom specifically wanted the remix versions. But overall, things went great and everyone loved Steve.

Steve was very easy to work with. He always responded in a timely manner. We planned everything from another state which is difficult but Steve was always easy to get hold of and flexible so he made it easier for us. On top of it all he is an amazing emcee and dj. We would hire him again in an instant and recommend him to anyone!

I can’t say enough about how wonderful Steve was! He was great from the first time we met him! A dear friend of ours referred us to him. She could not stop talking about how great he was. The first time we sat down with him, we signed. He was so fun to talk to, he wanted to know about us, so he could get a feel for what we wanted. Two weeks before the wedding, we sat down with him again, and we went over everything, down to the last detail. Steve, makes you feel like you are a friend, I was so comfortable talking to him! From the moment he turned the music on I never sat down, nor did my guests! That is what I wanted! The music was upbeat and fun, the sound was amazing, and he really got the party going! Steve thank you so much for making our day special. Our guests still talk about how great the music was! They loved the trivia too! Steve was amazing and worked with us in everyway so we could have what we wanted! He loves weddings and that is what is so amazing! And it shows! Thank you!

Steve is a very professional DJ. He will accommodate and adjust to all your needs. He is not the cheapest DJ, but you get what you pay for. He has many ideas to enhance the wedding reception and invests his own money to make things just right. He played all the music I requested and mixed it perfectly. Definitely would recommend him.

All I'm going to say is AMAZING.. and worth every single Penny. I strongly Suggest the "Amber lighting" He provides. BRIDES: There certain things you want to spend your money on and I'm telling you the lighting WAS HUGE! and it's reasonable, it made the venue look like a million dollar wedding. He's amazing, well Organized, and VERY Patient. I was somewhat of a bridezilla the day of and he was so clam and sweet. All our guest complimented us on how amazing he was. He played amazing music all night, dance floor was never empty. You can't go wrong with him. He's the best.

Steve was a great DJ. We had a very small wedding (about 30 guests at our reception) and Steve had them all dancing. He was energetic and professional. He played the mix of music we wanted and accommodated all requests in appropriate timing. I would recommend him.

Steve exceeded my expectations. I had heard him DJ numerous times at various clubs, restaurants, and other weddings. I couldn't think of one other person who better fit the style of me and my other half. Being able to work with him to create our night of celebration was a dream. He truly digested all of my notes and opened discussions and offered consultation with his experience. He was invested in making the night magical for not only us... but our family and friends as well. I enjoyed every minute of our reception and a lot was due to Steve's energy and expertiece!!

When we first met Steve Burdick, it was at our friend's wedding 2 years ago. I made a mental note of Steve because it was the first wedding (90% asians) that I've been to where almost everyone was on the dance floor. I don't know how Steve did it but it was amazing to see young and old on the dancefloor. Steve did the Venice Dance which I loved and I specifically requested for that for our wedding. The best thing about Steve was that he's a Dj and MC.

We met up with Steve 2 times before the wedding. The first time was to get to know each other and the second time was to go over the timeline and music choices, etc. Steve was responsive in all emails and he made numerous suggestions on how to seat the guests and how to strategize to get our guests on the dance floor. Every dance we had, guests came out on the dance floor and filled it up.

Steve was real flexible to work with. He had an online timeline and gosh, that made everything so easy for me, as I'm in front of a computer all day. If a song pops up I was able to log on and add that song. For the cocktail hour I had no idea what type of music I wanted to play but Steve made some suggestions and I trusted his professionalism and taste so I agreed to whatever he had in mind.

I know most people don't really care about the sound system.. but I have to compliment on how clear Steve's wireless mics were. From our video our speeches and vows were so clear and loud. All of the guests had no problem hearing. They said they heard us loud and clear. In our video footage all the audio clips were super clear.

Steve Burdick was such a hit at our wedding. He is so easy to work with, and he's that DJ that does an awesome job directing everything but wasn't obnoxious! We had such a good time working with him, and he really did a phenomenal job on our wedding. I'd recommend him to anyone for any event!

I met Steve about 15 years ago at my friend's wedding. He is the best dj I have ever seen and known. Steve is so organized, fun, outgoing, and creative.
He gets the crowd involved like no other dj. When I first got engaged, I called Steve first before I started looking at venues because I wanted to make sure I booked him. Steve just had to do my wedding. It wouldn't have been the same without him. Steve has a wonderful website that we put all of our information in. Steve is awesome and made our wedding day very memorable.
We consider him a part of the family and I highly recommend him for all weddings and events!! :)

Steve is the best! He gets so excited for weddings, you can really tell and feel the excitement upon the first meeting. He doesn't try to push anything on you but has amazing ideas and suggestions. He knows that ultimately its up to the bride and groom. We did the whole trivia thing for people to be released to get our food. We forgot to fill out the trivia, and Steve just improvised it was great. One of the tables sent up three little girls for the trivia. So he asked my favorite color and one of the girls yelled rainbow and he said that was correct. I loved it because he just went with it and the girls were so happy they got a correct answer. Steve was great! He danced with everyone and got the electric slide going among other dances. We all did the chicken dance. My bridesmaids and flower girls were dancing the whole time together and Steve was there to play the perfect music for them. He also came up to us with mints before we went around to say hi to everyone. That small extra thing meant so much to us. He has sooo much energy and was amazing! Also, on our first dance we didnt want to be alone the whole time so we had everyone get up and dance with us. He slowly had people sit down. Starting with anyone who wasnt married, then those who were married less than a year, all the way to those who have been married for 60 years! My husbands grandparents were the last couple standing and it was so special for it to be them and then they gave us a little bit of advice for being married for so long. Our wedding would not have been the same without Steve! He made it perfect!

Steve was an absolute pleasure to work with and his performance at the reception exceeded our expectations. During the planning process, Steve couldn't be any nicer or more responsive with our questions and requests. He is very organized and pays great attention to detail. At the end of the night, Steve got a round of applause from us and all of our the guests. He really kept the reception going and we got many, many compliments from friends and family about his ability to keep the vibe alive. He was able to keep the dance floor packed for about 4 hours! We had a spectacular time and will cherish those memories for life!

Thank you Steve for the incredible job you did deejaying at our wedding. We wanted you to know that we really appreciate all you did to keep everything flowing, providing awesome music, and making sure everyone had a great time. We got lots of great feedback from people and they loved the mix of music you provided. We even had requests from people to provide them with the playlist you did! The quality of Steve's service was second to none. Not a person in the reception would say anything different. He was exactly what we wanted in a DJ!

FOR BRIDES AND GROOMS THAT WANT TO BE IN GREAT HANDS THE DAY OF! I know this might sound contrived, but to be honest Steve Burdick could do nothing less then add amazingness to you big day. If you have meet with too many vendors already and do not want to do the song and dance with any more, then he is your man, and last stop. Steve not only makes you feel comfortable because he knows his music, but also because he loves what he does, and wants to make your day special and perfect for you. Steve listens to everything and really gets a feel for your personalities and what you want your guests to take away from your day. Because the bride and groom are so busy on and before the wedding day, it is so important the you trust your DJ and MC, in this case the man, myth and legend rolled into one. Steve only wants the best for his clients, and performs at 200%. Thank you Steve for everything, you absolutely made our day perfect!

I am pretty sure Steve is the best there is. A good DJ to me is more than music, it's their attitude. I don't usually dance, but I was on the dance floor all night! He really knows how to get the party started and keep it moving throughout the night. There was never a moment where I felt the music was just playing... I have been to two other weddings in the last 6 months that didn't even compare. Just remember the DJ IS the life of the party.

Steve made our wedding absolutely perfect! He was fun, energetic, and facilitated all the wedding events. Everyone at our wedding commented on the "awesome" dj. We had a Sunday night reception and Steve really came through- he was so worth the extra money. He got our crowd to dance late into the evening and kept people smiling and laughing even when they should have been heading home so that they can work the next day.

People try to choose DJs based on the mixing abilities or prices but the important things that the good ones do are far harder to know in advance unless you have a personal recommendation. I am glad that our wedding coordinator gave us his name.

Steve was absolutely amazing. Everything went off without a hitch. Numerous people ahve told me it was the best and funnest wedding they have been to. Awesome job Steve!

Steve is absolutely the most skilled, gentle tempered, professional and mentally sharp DJ and MC I've ever met. He never ceases to amaze how simple he can make the hardest part of DJ performance look. This takes grace and tons upon tons of experience both of which he is blessed.

Steve might be the most influential DJ in Orange County as well. He as mentored countless successful DJs over the years and if you ask any vendor or venue, you will find that they have nothing but praise for him and that he comes highly recommended. I hope to someday earn the rapport and friendships that he has with prominent members of the industry. Steve is the undisputed REAL DEAL, they should have a picture of his face in encyclopedias under the term Wedding Disc Jockey.
