Steve and has colleagues were awesome! They were very flexible with our schedule, offered alternative services when we deferred engagement photos and were very professional. But most importantly, the pictures are incredible! You can really see they're professionalism and creativity come through in the pictures. We highly recommend them.

Steve Canning was recommended by our Wedding Planner. His reviews were good and what he had to say seemed good. But that is where it ended. It took over a year to receive the pictures we ordered including the wedding album. At one point he became very unresponsive to my wife and it required her mother to get involved. His response was he had gotten busy which is totally unacceptable. When we had the initial meeting with him my wife requested some of the traditional black and white photographs as well as some other non traditional photo effects. When we finally did get the photos to look at, every photo was just plain, no effects, nothing we have talked about previously. His totally lack of responsiveness after being paid is inexcusable, especially for something as special as a wedding. We did not even receive an apology for the delay. I would definitely not recommend him.

Steve Canning Photography was one of the best vendor choices I made for my event. Steve stayed with us the entire day and worked with his staff to get all the great shots, while remaining in the background, a task which is not easy. He and his staff are extremely professional and know what they are doing! I couldn't be happier. From our engagement session to our wedding, we were so happy that our memories were going to be captured by Steve Canning. You will not be disappointed if you use him for you big day too!

It was truly our pleasure to have had the opportunity to have worked with Steve for our wedding. Upon our first meeting with Steve, we knew we had the best. He was extremely professional, always helpful, and very easy to communicate with. When we went to shoot our engagement pictures- we had a blast! Steve captured some great moments of us at Tarara Winery, the location where we got engaged. Anytime I had a question or concern, Steve would contact me directly and we would discuss it together. He was so helpful in helping me plan our schedule for picture-taking on the day of the wedding and was really flexible with all my requests. During the day of the wedding, we were running a little behind schedule, but Steve and his awesome assistant still kept us on track and took pictures of everything we had planned. He was very specific about what he wanted us to do for the shots, which was extremely helpful with such a large wedding party. I have yet to see the pictures from our wedding, but I have no doubt that they will be absolutely beautiful and that he captured every moment perfectly! Steve's assistant was also extremely nice and we had a blast with him! He did a great job of making us all laugh and enjoy the pictures as well. Thank you Steve and co. for such a pleasant and fun experience! We couldn't have asked for anything better!

Steve is not only an incredible artist but a very nice guy. You will enjoy having him at your event. He took the most incredible photographs of my daughter's wedding. When I saw the engagement photos I cried because he not only got a good likeness of the couple, he captured their personalities as well. The only bad thing I can say is he took so many GREAT photos that I do not know how I will choose which to keep, I may just have to get them ALL!

Steve Canning is booked to be our wedding photographer this spring. Not only are his wedding photos beautiful, he is also incredibly friendly (in my opinion, this is just as important as the quality of pictures!) Steve also gave us a complimentary engagement photo shoot, and we were really thrilled with how the pictures came out. I would highly recommend him!

Steve not only takes beautiful photographs, but he is incredibly nice and so easy to work with. He took our engagement photos as part of our package and spent more than an hour with us doing so. For the wedding, he took so many beautiful pictures and also ordered Thank You cards for us (featuring one of our wedding photos). Any questions I had throughout the process, he always got right back to me. On the day of my wedding, Steve and his assistant took pictures for almost 12 hours! I can't say enough about his professionalism, his thoughtfulness and his talent!

We had a fabulous experience using Steve Canning for our wedding photos. Beginning with our engagement photo session and continuing past our wedding day, Steve was helpful and responsive, and he had great ideas for photos. On our wedding day, Steve and his assistant were unobtrusive (which was very important to us), but they still got the photos we had hoped for. Steve created a beautiful layout for our wedding album, and we are thrilled that we will have such a wonderful way to look back on our wedding day.

I very much enjoyed working with Steve. His photos are truly amazing! He is extremely talented and has a way about capturing every moment. He was easy to work with and very accomodating. I would recommend him to anyone. In fact when my sister gets married, I am sure she will also use him which I think is the biggest compliment anyone can give.

I would absolutely recommend Steve Canning as a photographer for any bride planning her wedding. I believe that he offers the perfect mix of photo journalism and beautiful portraits. He also helped me every step of the way to include meeting with me to help select the right photos for my album. He spent a lot of extra time going through layout changes until my album was what I considered perfect. He was always full of ideas, but completely flexible to my preferences. He discreetly took beautiful shots of my wedding all day without feeling like his camera was always in my face. On a personal note, he extremely easy to get along with and very professional.

A genuinely nice person who made the photography part of the evening so easy

Steve is an incredible photographer. He provided a great mix of candid and posed shots, and he has a great eye for the backgrounds, colors, poses, etc. that make a great photo. He and his wife Nicole (who helped with our wedding) were incredibly down-to-Earth, flexible, and friendly with all 37 (!) of the people we had in the wedding party, including the 10 kids under 10 years old. No complaints at all. I would recommend Steve 100%, two thumbs up, with no reservations.

Of all the vendors for my wedding, Steve was the only one who met and exceeded my expectations. I am often camera shy, especially since I had to keep my braces on for medical reasons on my special day. Steve and his crew made every moment fun and made me feel as though mine was the only wedding he had! Steve put a personal touch on every picture and there is no doubt that he is truly an exceptional artist - all my pictures were filled with emotion, beauty, and truly captured every aspect of the day. Steve and his staff were incredibly professional and friendly - they managed to take shots without us even noticing the cameras! I am so pleased with every aspect of working with Steve for my wedding; from the engagement shots, to expressing our ideas before the event, the event itself and the result of beautiful pictures. I would give my highest recommendation for Steve Canning and am so lucky to have the memories he captured for the rest of my life!

Steve was truly amazing. From the first day I met him, he felt like a friend and I felt relaxed and confident with his work. He even came to our place a few months before the wedding and took a bunch of shots ("engagement photos) of my fiance and me (and our puppy) to get a head start of getting comfortable with each other - well in advance of the big day. On said big day, he made it so easy for me - so complimentary and conscious of giving me my space. He was unobtrusive, yet somehow managed to be everywhere. I had told him that I didn't want an entire album of formal, posed pictures - that I wanted to be able to relive the entire day by looking through the pictures. He accomplished that and then some - there were pictures of things I had missed or didn't even know had happened. My fian..HUSBAND and I shed tears (from the sheer emotion of the day as well as from laughing so hard!) as we flipped back through the pictures on the webpage Steve set up for us. We shared out the website with our family and friends and the compliments haven't stoppped since - we have had many people tell us they have never seen a collection of wedding photos like this - "the pictures are so you". And that's what matters the most. I would recommend Steve again and again for your big day.

Steve and his associate were great! His professionalism, expertise, friendliness, and positive attitude made my wedding day less stressful. I knew I could count on him to be at the appropriate places at the right time. I had him running around to take photos of the groomsmen and the bridesmaids in 2 different locations prior to the wedding. He was also flexible about the type of photos he'd take. For example, I preferred natural "real time" photos as opposed to traditional posed photos. He has the skills, creativity, and experience to provide you with the custom photography that fits your needs. Steve was very responsive to me. We corresponded several times prior to the wedding to discuss the plans for the big day. He quickly turned around the proofs after my wedding, and eventually provided me with the most perfect end product (my album). I couldn't have asked for a better and more pleasant photographer to work with. His fees are well worth it.

Steve Canning is the bride's and groom's dream come true photographer. Every member of our family and our closest friends enjoyed and praised Steve's humble, joyful and professional approach with his art. His creative genius embraced the intimate and elegant moments of our day and the custom print work was breathtaking! We continue to feel very blessed by Steve's friendship, huge talent and heart.

I could type all day about what Steve did on our wedding day. It was pure magic. I see something different everytime I look at our photos, even 4 years later. It is obvious of his passion to capture the most intricate moment that only he would catch with his vision. We have sinced used Steve for baby photos and for big family events and when we get married again (to each other) he will be there. He is an incredible photographer and a genuine person.
