Steven F. Fox Photography

This guy was very obtrusive at our ceremony and difficult to work with. He took up half the aisle and wouldn't move out of the way. People, including those being ushered down in wheelchairs had to move to avoid contact. He remained standing the entire ceremony! When politely asked if he could take a knee, he refused and became angry. He began arguing during the middle of the ceremony and it was quite distracting for some of our guests. He definitely has some anger issues and has proven to be difficult to work with. Our pictures turned out mediocre. I would not recommend him to any of my friends.

Absolutley Love Steve & Jessica! They did our photography for our wedding on Belle Isle in Detroit in May 2011. They were extremely flexible with times and locations to meet and were very open to whatever we wanted. We recieved our photos back extremely quick, like two weeks after the wedding and they were awesome! We almost went cheap with our photography and I am so glad we didn't, even though Steve's prices are much more reasonable comparative to other photographers. They gave us so many photos and they were all gorgeous. My house is covered in them! I have recieved so many compliments and everyone tells me that all of them could be in a wedding magazine!!! I have already given there number out to multiple people and will continue to refering them for great wedding photography! Steve and Jessica are great people and we were very blessed to have them be a part of our wedding! Fantastic job!

Steve and Jessica were wonderful, they both were excited about capturing our wedding and made us feel at ease. They were fast and got all the shots in a timely manner which was great since we had several little ones in the wedding party.

My story with Steve actually starts a very long time ago....

Back a very long time ago, my husband's mom taught photography at a local community college near where we grew up. It was back then that she knew Steve and Steve met my husband-when my hubby was a cute little munchkin.

Fast forward about 16 years or so, and my best friend does a bridal photo shoot for the Felt Mansion here in GR and Steve is the photographer. Things went really well, so she decided to hire him for her wedding 2 years later (2008). That's when I met Steve-the day of her wedding. It was a lot of fun and he took some really amazing shots. I'm still sad I didn't have enough money to purchase any of the professional photos-they were great. Funny thing is that my dad couldn't make my friend's wedding, so my husband's mom went with my mom in his place. It was the first time she, Steve, and my husband had seen each other in a very long time. Such a small world.

So now fast forward to this June. I start looking for a photographer in the area (I live in Chicago) with no luck (thank goodness), and my best friend, being the wonderful & helpful Matron of Honor that she was, called Steve and started getting some info for me. Steve called me a few weeks later and we set everything in stone. About a week after that, my husband's mom sent him an email and he put two and two together-he was photographing the wedding of the cute little kid he knew so long ago.

Anyway, now fast forward to this September (You sick of pressing FF yet? Don't worry, you're done). I purchased the smallest package they have (6 hours) and the rights to all my pics. That was all I could afford, but I was very happy with that choice. Steve came out a few hours before the wedding and started photographing me getting ready. I haven't seen all of the pictures yet, but there are several on his blog (you can find it at http://stevenffox.wordpress.com/) and they look amazing. He posted a few preview pics (low resolution) to his profile for me to check out a few weeks ago, and was kind enough to finish one of them for me over the weekend so I could use it for my thank you notes.

I can't recommend him highly enough. He was fantastic! I couldn't afford both he & his wife Jessica, but I did meet her at my best friend's wedding a few years ago and she took some great shots and was really sweet. Steve is just the nicest guy and has amazing ideas for photos. I only wish I'd been able to afford the shots he wanted to do at the Sears Tower (btw, that's $30/person if you don't want to stand in line). I'm very happy with my choice, I would recommend him to anyone, and he was more than willing to come out to Chicago for the wedding.

EDIT: A few days ago, I took a look at all our wedding photos (all 808 of them!). They look amazing and Steve did a fantastic job. He's really quick with the turnaround and works really really hard on them. We haven't been married a month and he's already done editing them and he works on more than one couple's photos at a time. Pretty impressive.

The coordinator of our wedding venue recommended Steve and Jessica Fox to my husband and I. And after only 5 minutes on the phone with Steve, I knew why! His passion for photography and people was obvious! Steve photographed our engagement session and his wife, Jessica, joined him to photograph our wedding day! They are amazing photographers and wonderful people! Steve and Jessica went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was PERFECT! My husband and I planned our Holland wedding from out of state. Not only did Steve and Jessica make sure our wedding photos turned our beautifully, they were with us every step of the way, giving recommendations for wedding vendors and even places to eat while we were visiting :) On our wedding day, Steve and Jessica were with us every minute as our photographers and our friends. We were lucky to spend the most important day of our lives with them and in turn they gave us the best gift of all...beautiful wedding photos and memories! Thanks Steve and Jessica!

So as a natural procrastonator, my husband had to sit me down with l a little over a month to go to find a wedding photographer. Scowering the internet, we came across Steve and Jessica's website. I loved there stuff, especially the beach shots. We called and Steve was very prompt to in getting back to us. We explained our story... Beach ceremony at sunset with our family and big reception the next day. A two party gig..... yes it had us a little worried about finding someone who could do both. However, Steve was avalible for both. He was an absolute delight to work with, I dont think anyone could have captured our moments more perfectly. It was so relaxed and comfortable. Everything turned out better then we imagined. If anyone is out there looking for the perfect way to capture you special day, Steve and Jessica are definitely the best to work with.

Steve and his wife Jessica photographed my husband’s and my engagement session as well as our wedding day. It was the most magical experience we've ever had and much of it was due to Steve and Jessica being a part of our day! Aside from the incredible artistic abilities Steve and Jessica possess with their cameras, they were a support system and our friends throughout the entire wedding process. Because of them, our day ran smoothly without missing any special moments. They were able to capture memories that both of our families will remember for a lifetime. Every photo was professional and elegantly beautiful.
We chose Steven F. Fox photography based on what we had seen at other weddings and sessions through a bridal show in Michigan. We feel so blessed that we chose the right photographers to shoot one of the most important days of our lives! These two wonderful people are still our friends to this day!

Steven and Jessica are the best. I work in the wedding industry and had many options of choosing a photographer. I could not have made a better choice. The both of them together capture every moment of your dream day and I can truly say in those photos I have never felt so beautiful in my life. And lets face it brides - we all want to feel beautiful on our day =) They are awesome photographers and well as awesome people and that shines through in their work. They love what they do and make you feel very comfortable on a day that usually can be full of stress. They are professional, yet friendly and I highly recommend them for any major life occasion you want documented.

We had such a great time at our engagement session, at the wedding, and even the night after. The night after our wedding, Steven convinced me to take photos wearing my dress in Lake Michigan - Steven & Jessica even agreed to take some shots on our sailboat, even though they are not "sailors." It was a lot of fun! I can't wait to see how all the photos came out :) They are fabulous artists and we are so glad that they could be a part of our special day.

Steve and Jessica Fox were an absolute pleasure to work with. They are delightful people and truly great artisans. I really cannot believe how Steve was able to capture the day on film. I never thought pictures would so well display the emotions, excitement and love we feel for each other. I highly, highly recommend this photographer.

We LOVED Steven Fox Photography!! Both Steve and Jessica are fantastic! Jessica is very helpful with any question you have and usually got back to me within a couple days. On the day of the our wedding, Steve was great. He was with me and my girls from the salon throughout the day. He is very laid back and extremely professional. He also made sure he was getting photos of everything I wanted and would ask if there was anything else as the day went on. I'm very grateful to have had such a phenomenal photographer who recorded our entire day! I also had a videographer who didn't get alot of the events of the day (including the father-daughter & mother-son dances!). So the fact that I have plenty of photographs to choose from means the world!!

They made our day! Steven and Jess are amazing people and their work speaks for itself. Our pictures are breathtaking. We would HIGHLY recommend them.
