Steven Vance Strolling Violins

For our ceremony and cocktail hour we wanted ambiant music playing. Steven did a wonderful job and played a lot of requests. His musical repertoire is impressive!

They played beautifully and made dinner very enjoyable. I always wanted strings playing during dinner.

Steve was wonderful about everything. Communication was a breeze and he seemed to know just about every song we could think of - which included things I never imagined would be played on a violin. He did a great job and actually has me listening to some classical music in the car when I'm flipping through the channels.

Mr. Vance was able to work with my budget and provided me with a fantastic string trio (the Faure String Trio) to play at my ceremony. The group leader, Jennifer, was an absolutely joy to work with and the ceremony music was amazing. Absolutely recommend!

Steven is absolutely the pro that everyone else says he is. He was quick to respond and was willing to work with me on my small ceremony. He did an amazing job during the ceremony and I couldn't have been happier to have him there.

Steven Vance did A WONDERFUL JOB! he learned the violin to our wedding song Unthinnkable by Alicia Keys -- which I walked down the aisle to and he learned If I ain't got you by Alicia Keys for the bridal party to walk down to. He was absolutely AMAZING! It sounded great. Very professional - accommodating - flexible. He was also our dj for the night - he did a great job and his son was wonderful also.Definitely would reccomend them for any wedding!

one word. amazing.we used steven vance for our ceremony musicians, we got a pianist & a violinist (steven vance himself!) They were nothing less than amazing. our guests were raving about them! we even gave them obscure songs to play and they didn't miss a note. they were completely flawless.highly recommend. i dont think you can do any better than steven vance.

The violinist that we hired through Steven Vance Entertainment was fantastic! As I was walking up to the church the sound carried outside and I thought to myself that this was perfect. We got married in an log cabin chapel in the mountains and I thought a simple solo violin player would be just what it needed. I was very happy with her, and the music was beautiful. It was just as I envisioned.

He has a great website where you can choose the classical music that best fits the ceremony. During dinner, he plays requests for each table, which is a nice touch. He's a great DJ and really was interested in playing what we wanted to hear. Overall, Steven Vance was great!

We had a violinist do our cerimony music and it was so more romantic and calming than the typical organist. Loved them!

Steven Vance kept the party going at my wedding! During dinner he played the violin which people loved because they could request songs. The dance floor wasn't empty at any point in the reception! He was very easy to work with, very nice and professional and I would recommend him to anyone! He is very talented!

He went around to the tables during dinner taking requests, which really wowed our guests. He kept the party going all night, and the dance floor was never empty. i had selected a violinist for my ceremony. steven did a great job at helping me decide what to play. he was very professional and did a great job at the ceremony. i have already recommended him to several other people.

Loved the violin/DJ combination. Our guests enjoyed picking their favorite songs for the violin during dinner. And Steven did a great job of DJ-ing the rest of the night. Definitely a unique experience that will be talked about for a while!

My husband worked with Sarah and a string quartet from Steven Vance to provide lovely music for our ceremony and cocktail hour. They were extremely professional and helpful in selecting appropriate music for both parts of the evening. The music was beautiful and definitely added a wonderful touch to our classy and elegant wedding celebration. We also found their prices to be quite reasonable.

Steven was wonderful! He was personable with all of our guests, and he played the songs requested. Our guests had a wonderful time dancing. Playing the violin during the cocktail hour and through dinner was a wonderful touch of class to our day.

Steve did a great job and followed my every request. He even helped everyone else keep on schedule for the night; he was the MC as well as the DJ and he played the violin.

We booked harpist Julia Scott through Steven Vance (strolling violins) for our ceremony music. The harp added so much ambiance to our ceremony. Julia played beautifully!

They were great, though very pricey. A lot of the guests had difficulty hearing the music even though they were seated right next to the guests. Also, we had to provide our own keyboard. We had a receiving line right after the ceremony, and unfortunately it was along the side of the house and across our driveway. They drove though some of the line, which didn't look very professional. They could have waited ten minutes and been courteous.
