I'm am so happy i went with Stolen Moments! 2 of my friends recommended them, and i've seen them play before at non-wedding events. But they totally blew us away!! they did such a good job keeping the crowd happy - the dance floor was packed for practically every song! We had a diverse group of people too, from teenagers to grandmothers... so when i saw that EVERYONE was dancing throughout the night... i knew we made the right choice. They even let me send them my mom's song requests :) At the end of the day, they came through will all that they promised and i got every penny's worth...and then some!

We used Stolen Moments for our 12/30 wedding and could not be happier!! The whole experience from start to finish was great--Ann at SM orchestrated everything, meeting with us a number of times beforehand to decide on details and discuss the order of events with us. She was very easy to work with and one of the only vendors I was not at all worried about anything going wrong with. There were many different packages to choose from, catering to all budgets. We chose to go with the DJ/MC package plus gobo lighting for our reception, and the harpist for our ceremony. Joy, the harpist was incredible!! We met with her beforehand to discuss song options and she graciously played many tunes for us to listen to, to get a feel for what we would like at our ceremony. It was a really special touch that everyone at the wedding enjoyed. Our DJ was fabulous--played awesome music that kept the whole party, young and old, dancing the whole night away! Our MC, Anthony was also awesome--he was constantly checking in with us on wedding day, being sure everything was going well and done correctly. He kept the party going and orchestrated the order of events flawlessly. We were extremely happy with all involved at Stolen Moments and would definitely use them again & highly recommend them.

The band is incredibly talented & our guests are still raving about how impressed they were with the music- even a few future brides who attended our wedding have reached out to me for their information! The stolen moments band did a great job at our wedding, they were so upbeat and really kept the dance floor packed. My husband and I were so happy we decided to go with live music instead of a DJ. We had Louis as our keyboardist and Alexis as our female vocalist and they were amazing. They chose the perfect music for each moment throughout our reception. Fantastic! Fantastic! Fantastic!! The band was absolutely terrific!! Our guests were on the dance floor the entire night! We have gotten so many compliments on the music! The band and the DJ made our reception perfect! They played the perfect mix of music, were not intrusive, and listened to us and what we wanted. Prior to the wedding, we dealt with Ann who was very patient, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. Ann helped us plan out a great night - making sure that we got everything in that we wanted to without feeling rushed. Joanne and I simply want to say thanks, thanks and more thanks for the wonderful entertainment you provided for Diana and Mike's wedding on Sunday. This was the 5th wedding that my wife and I attended since early June (Whew!!) and the best was our daughters, hands down. All the other bands sounded real good, but were no match for what we all heard Sunday evening. All 6 singers were absolutely fantastic, smiled a lot, and seemed to really feed off our guests with a genuine enthusiasm. And the actual music played was superb - a great group of musicians!!

You guys were truly amazing. You knew just what to play, and when. And your version of the bride and groom's wedding song, "Me and You", was better than the original. We can't tell you how many guests have already come up to us to say what a great time they had dancing. The song "Diana" really rocked. And, of course, Diana and my dance "Through the Years".

As I had mentioned to Paul, ANY time you need a recommendation, we will be there for you.

Right away, my husband and I were impressed with Stolen Moments. Ann responded to every call and email within a few hours. Her quick response to any questions made our planning so easy. At our first meeting, Anthony and Ann were flexible with the packages to give us exactly what we were looking for and within our price point. We wanted a jazz group for our cocktail hour and they put together an exquisite trio for us. We, also, had a DJ and MC for four hours plus uplighting and a gobo light-all extremely reasonable.

The jazz trio was amazing and played a perfect set list for our guests. They were extremely flexible as well, following lead sheets to play for a friend of ours who wanted to surprise us by singing a couple of songs. They didn't miss a beat!

The lighting looked gorgeous and added so much to our reception venue. My sister designed a logo that was used throughout our wedding, and Stolen Moments easily incorporated it into the lighting (using it as the gobo design).

The DJ and MC were PERFECT! They knew exactly how to read our guests and how to get them up and dancing! They listened to our preferences and what we didn't want to hear (ie. rap, anything with explicit lyrics, etc). Many of our guests stayed until the end of the reception and danced the whole night. Our wedding reception was incredible in large part because of Stolen Moments.

My husband and I highly recommend Stolen Moments to all. We are so very happy with their professionalism in their responsiveness, cost, and service.

Everything was wonderful, from the classical trio for the ceremony, duo for cocktail hour, and band for the reception!

My wife and I are very pleased with the services provided by Stolen Moments Entertainment. At first I was worried about the music selection using a band because my wife, her family and friends are from South America and are not familiar with most American music. Their flexibility and willingness to accomodate allowed us a Band playing all the top American tracks and a DJ to play favorites from my wifes country. The DJ was also multilingual which assisted in the evenings events allowing all to flow smoothly. I was more than surprised to see the number of people leaving their seats for the dance floor. The band rocked and the DJ hit the spot bringing everyone out. Thank you Stolen Moments. We had a wonderful time.

Stolen moments did an AMAZING job at my wedding and I couldn't be happier!! They also responded quickly to calls and e-mails if I had any questions and were beyond professional! The DJ's worked off the vibe of the crowd... if a song didn't work they would switch it up! EVERYONE was on the dance floor, especially family and friends that I never would have thought of to get on the dance floor!! The photo booth was a HUGE hit and everyone couldn't stop talking about it! Another great feature we included was a photographer through stolen moments who walked around and captured candid photos of the crowd and then they were displayed on flat screen t.v's above the dance floor so everyone could see themselves!! They played everything I asked for and not one thing went wrong! I couldn't be happier and I recommend Stolen Moments to anyone looking for an amazing DJ!!!

AMAZING!!! This band is a MUST! My husband and I spent the entire night on the dance floor! Ann was fantastic to work with and I could not have been happier with the band! I wish my wedding could have been another 4 hours so I could continue to dance!!

They stole my once in a life time moments! Every song I picked out was purposeful and sentimental. I discussed with Anne, the owner that I had a special song that I wanted to walk down the aisle to for 8 months prior to the wedding. It was part of a theme that went along with several other aspects of my wedding. I had my walk timed to meet up with specific parts of the song. The photographer had pictures taken with the cd that I purchased to go along with my garter and flutes. I even spoke to the DJ, Kenny literally five minutes before walking out AND THEY STILL PLAYED THE WRONG SONG. It’s almost a joke just how many songs they got wrong- despite talking to the owner the day before. The following songs were wrong entrance song, the bouquet toss, the garter toss song; the first dance song was the wrong version. They played a live version that had different lyrics. They pronounced my husband’s name wrong, even though I wrote it out for them. I would NEVER use them again! In fact, I work in a hospital and I plan on telling every engaged patient or staff about how stolen moments of Dobbs ferry, stole my moments as a brand new bride.

Stolen Moments provided DJ services for my wedding. They were great! The DJ played a great mix of music and included a lot of the music that we requested. We also had an entertainer that sang live which I guests really enjoyed!

We are so very pleased with the job you guys did at our wedding. Everyone is still talking about how great you where. I cant beging to express how happy we are in how you handled everything and met all our needs. I will pass the work on to all my friends to book you...Thanks again!!

I really can't say enough wonderful things about my experience with AList Entertainment. From the beginning when were just starting the planning process from the last minute changes day's before the wedding Anthony was always available to listen. We met prior to the wedding and he listened to our every want, need and desire for our wedding day and when our actual BIG day came he followed through with all of our wishes. If it was not for AList Entertainment our wedding would not have been so perfect. He made sure the dance party never stopped and that every guest from Grandparents, Parents to the Bridal Party were dancing on the dance floor at all times. I have already recommended him to brides-to-be. I'm very happy to say you will not be disappointed with their services and I guarantee the first thing you will here from your guests was how wonderful the music was and how great of a time they had because of it and that's no lie that's what happened with us! I have to give a big thank you for all of their hard work it was such a great experience, thank you AList Entertainment!

Stolen Moments was very flexible in working with us to create our day. We submitted a list, not too long, of songs we loved and they incorporated them very well into the reception. The wedding party and announcements went very well and they entertained guests appropriately and just as we had hoped from start to finish. We were very happy with Stolen Moments and DJ Tommy.

We had DJ Paul Scatt for our wedding in New Rochelle. He did a great job with choosing music that reflected our style and taste. I was also happy that he played most of the songs on my "must play list." He was very easy to work with, very experienced, and very professional. The cost for his services were also very reasonable compared to other DJ's in the area.

Great Job! Thank you so much for everything. Anthony was such a pleasure to work with. He answered all our questions and recommended some great vendors that we used as well. Everything was absolutly perfect. Except for that best man speech hahaha..

This review is worse than it should be because on the day I was disappointed with Stolen Moments. Paul forgot a number of things that we had discussed and the time management was very poor. I had to keep going to him to try to keep us on schedule. Also Jamel must have been having a bad day because he killed my first dance song and he spent way too much time allowing the kids to take over his microphone. Unfortunately my guests felt that I didn't need Stolen Moments as I also had a DJ

It was great working with Stolen Moments. Anne was a great help in coordinating the day and ensuring that Kenny had everything he needed for the day to go smoothly. She was very polite and non-stress inducing in reminding us of anything we may have overlooked.

Kenny was great on the day. He was completely setup well before he needed to be and a professional throughout the whole night. He respected the unconventional do not play list provided to him while making sure the night was a blast. We had a slightly non-traditional reception that included long periods of dancing and he handled it incredibly, keeping the dance floor packed. Many people said they had some of the most fun they've had at a wedding at our (yea I know they have to say that, right...) and I know Kenny played a key role in that.

I got married on 7/10/10. We had Stolen Moments as our band and they were amazing. They do all kinds of music and they just know the right time to play the right songs. They are so interactive with everyone dancing. During some songs they come out to the middle of the dance floor and get everyone involved. The dance floor was packed the whole night and people kept telling me how great they were. They were worth every penny. We also had the calypso band for the cocktail hour and people loved that too. They also had a portuguese singer that they brought for that night and she was great!! I learned about them from two other weddings that I went to.

Loved the ambient lighting. It made the room look so cool. You guys where great and I will highly recommend you for all my friends weddings.

If you are looking for a professional band that you can count on for your wedding reception, I can't make a stronger recommendation than Stolen Moments. That crazy blizzard we had Dec 19 - that was our wedding day! Stolen Moments showed up with ALL band members at our venue on time and played a top notch reception. They provided us with great musicians and a lineup of male and female singers that were able to excellent covers from Elton John to Jay-Z. They even took an obscure Bruce Springsteen song and nailed it for our first dance!

Their leader seems to have a lot of experience and a very good sense of the flow of a wedding reception. They delivered exactly what we asked for - not once did they stray from our "don't play list" and the very talented singers each brough something special for a diverse mix of music. Bottom line is that the dance floor was going all night and we were all very happy. And from what I understand about band prices today - their value blew most other vendors out of the water.

Stolen Moments is INCREDIBLE! Not only were they a pleasure to work with, but Paul Scatt & the entertainers truly made our wedding reception SO MUCH FUN! The dance floor was packed the entire night and everyone enjoyed themselves, including my husband and I! People told me before we got married that a DJ is one of the key ingredients to a fun wedding....this is true, but, the MOST important ingredient is to have Stolen Moments there, they made our wedding reception unforgettable! Their professionalism and friendly attitude are impressive, do yourself a favor and book Stolen Moments, you won't regret it...they are simply FANTASTIC!!!!

Paul and The Stolen Moments Band did a fantastic job at our wedding in September! They played all the songs we requested and more. Everyone danced the entire night and we received many positive comments from our guests. Laura and the band were very responsive and reliable. I highly recommend Stolen Moments.

Laura, Ann and Paul are amazing! They work with you from Day 1 to ensure that all of your wants and needs are met. However, somewhere along the line I think there is a huge communication breakdown between the front office and the actual DJs.

DJ Kenny was hired for our wedding and we were assured that he was the best. My complaints are more of the same that are also written on this message board. He was not responsive and took on the attitude that he was going to do what he wanted to do. When you only have 4 hours of dancing the entire day and hopefully only one wedding day -- one would assume that the Bride and Groom would be attended to. Kenny was so unresponsive that my maitre'd actually had to go and speak to him regarding our requests.

On top of all of this, he proceeded to cut the Father/Daughter dance short. Isn't that supposed to be one of the most important dances of the wedding?

My advice would be to a) either choose another DJ from this company -- and please be sure to have a meeting or two with the acutal DJ or b) fork over a little more money and go with a company who actually is invested in the happiness of the overall wedding and what the client truly wishes.

Additional Comment: I see that Stolen Moments has decided to comment on this thread because it is public facing. To be completly clear...it is now January 5th (3 months after my wedding) and I have yet to hear another word from them. There has been no follow-up. It's quite evident that once the check has been cashed...they move on to the next event. So much for customer service!

Stolen Moments was unbelievable! We have received numerous comments from our guests raving about how great the Calipso Trio (cocktail hour) and DJ Spin (ceremony/reception) was. The dance floor was never empty and DJ Spin and this assistant kept the party going all night long! It was wonderful to work with Laura and Ann, who kept in contact with us at all times. We surely would recommend Stolen Memnts to anyone. We can't wait to plan another party to book them again.

Would highly recommend for future events. Jose and Tom sang wonderfully and were a great bonus!

Paul & Mirella did a fabulous job for both the cocktail hour and reception. Played what we wanted to hear, had a simple, professional setup, and the combo of having a live singer plus keys & music really made for a unique experience.

Stolen Moments was unbelievable! We have received numerous notes and emails raving about how great they were from our guests. The dance floor was never empty. They read the crowd and kept the party going all night and even did an encore song! They were wonderful to work with as well - keeping constant communication and follow up. We were lucky enough to have a long engagement and book them far in advance so they were available. We would recommend them to anyone! We are looking for an excuse to hire them again!

We had DJ Kenny from Stolen Moments and he was en pointe the entire evening. I had planned a series of performances/events (first dance, cake cutting, bouquet toss, etc) and he made sure the transition was smooth. They worked with my shoestring budget and was just plain awesome.

These guys are a great wedding band, they have a HUGE playlist and are flexible to learn songs you like that they don't already know. I had many comments from my guests that they were one of the best wedding bands they had heard.

The company was extremely easy (and friendly) to work with and the price was perfect. In the tri-state area bands are through the roof and Al Scatt's Stolen Moment's was an amazing band at a reasonable price. We wanted to add a Caribbean band however for cocktail hour and the prices on that were much more than we could afford. They really work with you though and help to try and make things work for you financially (add or subtract a band member, choose a difference group and such).

The day of the wedding the band was on time and did a great job with both cocktail hour and the reception. Their vocalists are AWESOME!!! One of the lead male singers, Jamal, is so much fun to watch too...he really gets into it and gets the crowd going! The female vocalists are spectacular as well...our guests have been raving about them since we got married. I would highly recommend their service. Also, their staff was always prompt to answer my questions and made sure they had everything in order for our big day...the band has a huge lists of songs to work with and will even take special requests and learn songs for you if it's something they are not already familiar with. The bottom line is though, is that these guys know what gets the crowd going and they do a great job of pleasing all age groups and nationalities!

The band was great. They can play pretty much anything, and if for some reason they don't you can give them a tape/cd of what you want and they will incorporate it. ei: my family wanted some traditional hungarian folk music played that was only available on very old tapes and they were able to accomodate.

I had sent them an email of the list of songs to be played for specific times. However, they didn't even read my email. I did not want any dancing during the dinner, and as we soon as we sat down for dinner, the dj starts to play hiphop and tells people to come out and dance. I was NOT pleased!!! My husband had to go up to the dj himself and asked him to change the music. Rest of the night was smooth and we had a great time. Although we didn't pay for it, they provided us with a very entertaining singer. Overall experience was ok.
