Stone Crest Cellars was the perfect place to have our wedding and celebrate our special day. Judy is an amazing woman who does not forget a single detail. It was a stress~free day. The ceremony was beautiful and we were pleased with the flowers, cake, and decorations. I would recommend Stone Crest Cellars to anyone who wants to be able to enjoy their wedding day without any stress. This place is gorgeous and the food is some of the best food we have ever had.

Judy and her staff did an outstanding job. The food was excellant! The atmosphere was excellant. We hired our own photography & videography, CASE 42, that we had met earlier. We found Stone Crest Cellars on the internet and wanted the wedding on the Oregon Coast. My co-workers at work had attended a couple weddings at Stone Crest and said the place and scenery was outstanding. My niece said it best, " You couldn't have picked a more enjoyable spot for a wedding" !!!!! We had family and friends attend the wedding from Eastern Washington, Northern Idaho, and Milwaukee, WI.

My husband and I wanted to celebrate our 10 year anniversary with a vow renewal. We chose this venue and could not have been more happy. Judy was so accommodating and made sure of all the details so I did not have to. This is huge when you are planning from another location and can not meet with them in person before hand. There is a lot of trust that has to be had and I was not disappointed. They were great with pictures at the house and some on the beach as well, we love them all. I was able to just show up and enjoy the gorgeous view and my family. Thank you does not quite express how grateful I am for all they do to make it beautiful.

Stonecrest Cellars was awesome! Judy and her family worked very hard to provide exactly what we wanted for our wedding day. She gave us tons of ideas and also let us have our own input. I didn't feel like I had to worrry about anything. On the day of the wedding I was able to sit back and enjoy the party. Four months later I am still getting compliments from friends and family about how wonderful Stonecrest was. And the location is beautiful.

We had a wonderful, stress-free, experience. The grounds were beautiful and our hosts were very accommodating. A real total package experience at a tremendous value. Our wedding guests were just as impressed. We highly recommend Stone Crest Cellars.

I was completely thrilled to have our wedding at Stone Crest Cellars, Judy did everything for us on the big day, and she was constantly running around to make sure all of our details, big and small, were in place and looking great. I felt absolutely no stress on the day of, and really enjoyed working with Judy during our year of planning to make our dream wedding come true. Her wait staff also made our guests feel completely welcome and at home, and everyone had a wonderful time! I would recommend Stone Crest to any bride in a heartbeat.

My husband and I were looking for the simplest possible wedding, and we found just that with Judy! All she needed was just an idea of what we were looking for, and some color choices, and she took care of all the rest. Anyone who says wedding planning is stressful obviously has not worked with Judy. Thank you!!

Judy and her daughter made our wedding day very special. I wanted the whole experience to be stress free and they did exactly that. Their attention to detail was incredible. It was perfect from the decorations, the flower arrangements, the music, the cake, all the way to breakfast the next morning. Their hospitality was impeccable. I truly cannot say enough great things about my experience. Our wedding made all of our guest say “I wish we would have had a wedding like this. It was simple, beautiful, and stress free”.

Our "little elopement ceremony" turned into the most beautiful day of our lives. We could not have planned or imagined a more perfect day. Judy & her family made us feel so special & took care of every single detail. From the 1st greeting to the beautiful ocean as our backdrop. From their cuddly pets to the delicious wine & cheese tray & breakfast that was served. From the music & sand pouring tradition, to the wonderful photographer - It was all amazing. The cake & flowers too! Everyone had such a great time. Thank you is not enough. I am so glad we chose this beautiful home & we will be back for our anniversary!

My wedding was a dream! Everything turned out so perfect with little to no stress at all. The team at Stone Crest knows what they are doing and they do it well! They are friendly and reliable, fair in price, flexible, and very creative! Making you feel like your wedding is unique to you! I would not have done anything different. It really was a dream come true. Thank you guys!

I wanted something simple and small, but very special. Judy delivered. I don't know how she arranged for whales to be there just before the ceremony, but our guests had great fun watching for the spouts which ended just before I walked down the steps. Perfect timing all the way around. The location, the view, the flowers, the cake, everything was perfect!

Judy, Danaya, and Craig were wonderful. They made our wedding very easy and relaxing. They were very easy to work with and made our day the way we wanted it. Their service was fantastic and we plan to return at a future date for a nice relaxing weekend. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and Judy does an amazing job maintaining it.

Judy, Danaya, their husbands, their pets, the baby and even the weather were all perfect. Sean and I have not one complaint or regret for the entire wedding/reception experience. They took care of every single detail and more. Our guests are still raving about the site, food and service.
They even ordered the wedding favors and placed them in the baskets for me. Seriously, I am one of the most OCD people that I know and I have not one complaint. Our day was amazing and I cannot tell you how wonderful they were.

If you want a one stop shop this is your place! They take care of everything! I searched everywhere for the perfect location for our wedding and fell in love with SCC. Danaya and Judy will get you what you want and make sure it turns out perfect! I was worried that I may upset them with all the questions I had but, they graciously answered every one! Even after our event was done I got prompt answers to questions I had.
If you want to get married on the Oregon Coast.... This is the place!

Everything was perfect and amazing. They over did themselves. You want a gorgeous wedding for inexpensive price this is the perfect fit! Im still in shock of how beautiful everything was I would have paid a lot more if they were asking. They did the cake, flowers, decorations, photography and wedding night stay for just 1500 on the beach. You cant get better. This should be priced at 8000-10000.

This Bed & Breakfast was amazing. Not only was it beautiful but the service was incredible! The place was beautiful, the food was amazing and Judy and her family/team took care of everything and made our wedding day perfect!
If you want to get married on the Oregon Coast it doesn't get any better than Stone Crest Cellars!

I had my wedding at this location in August of 2011. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful. The house is amazing.
We had a small wedding plus reception for approx. 10 people. We choose a weekday because it would be less busy. The wedding itself was held outside on a wooden patio overlooking the ocean. Stunning.
Judy (the owner of the Bed & Breakfast) and her crew took care of every detail. The wedding packages they provide are all inclusive. That included the cake, toasting, flowers, decorations, photography and even the officiate. (Note: We choose our own officiate and she deducted officiate fees from the total package amount)
The wedding went beautifully. No rehearsal needed, she provided direction for the actual wedding. After the wedding we had a small outdoor reception where we cut the cake and did the toasts. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding. It was exactly what we wanted.
We stayed at the bed & breakfast for two days following the wedding. We had the big suite upstairs, we had a private patio and amazing ocean view. The breakfast provided was hearty and tasty too.
I can't say enough good things about Stonecrest. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Judy and her team were absolutely wonderful. They made our wedding relaxing and stress-free! The location is beautiful and they welcomed us and our guests into their home. Not only did Stonecrest efficiently handle all of the decorations (design as well as actual set-up/take-down), they also provided the catering, wedding cake and officiant. In particular, the flowers were beautiful and I had endless compliments about my bouquet. The only downside (which we heard from our guests) is that they couldn't hear the ceremony over the waves hitting beach. All in all, it was the best day of our lives and we would plan on visiting Stonecrest again for our future anniversaries!
GUEST

Wonderful experience. I was somewhat disorganized about my ceremony and Stone Crest Cellars saved me when I showed up there without any music. As the bride I had the best experience. Food was also excellent.

Everything was amazing, but to provide some critical feedback:
- Dinner was in the Atrium and it was quite cold for those who weren't next to heaters.
- There was some miscommunication regarding Beer and Wine. We were under the impression that, within reason, beer and wine were included in the cost. That wasn't the case and we had to pay an alcohol bill.

Overall a good value but I can't quite give them 5 stars...
Some major aspects of our wedding at Stone Crest were excellent. For example, the food was amazing and the Chef (Judy's husband) even made a separate vegetarian dish for one of our guests. The wait staff was top notch; The view/location was incredible. Judy and her daughter Danaya were very also flexible. I sent Judy a picture of the wedding bouquet I wanted and she did a superb job. My bouquet ended up being exactly like the picture I sent her, actually the colors she selected were even more beautiful! The price for our package was a good value since we would have paid thousands of dollars more for a similar package in the Gorge/Mt. Hood area.
Stone Crest does have the planning and execution of the ceremony down well. However, there were some aspects that were overlooked and are worth mentioning. Firstly, there was no one there to greet me when I arrived on my wedding day, so I wasn't sure were dress...We had a friend do the centerpieces for the tables and asked Judy to use the flowers she would have used for centerpieces (which were included in our package) to "beef up" the altar decorations. I was surprised at how sparse the altar decorations ended up looking...Judy took care of renting a PA system for what was supposed to be rented for 24 hours. It ended up arriving 30 minutes before the ceremony and was removed directly after. This left little time for the singers to tune/rehearse before the ceremony and had me feeling like I didn't get my $125 worth...Danaya did take some nice pictures but she is not a professional photographer...The officiant (Judy) said our last name incorrectly when she announced us as man and wife and ended up writing the wrong date on our marriage license. She was gracious about making the correction with the county court but we now have to re-order (and re-pay) for the correct notarized marriage license.
I would recommend this venue to a friend but some of the details were overlooked. They do A LOT of weddings. Judy seemed a little stressed at times. She was very nice and accommodating to me but was a little short with some of our guests.

Beautiful venue!!! Setting was gorgeous, flowers were beautiful, food was good.

Overall our experience was okay. The venue, view, flowers, and, music were beautiful. Judy was very attentive to my questions and requests during the planning process.
One major issue we had was that the officiant forgot to bring our pre-selected vows to read at the altar, leaving us to wing it. We had planned on the old "repeat after me" schema to alleviate anxiety, and did not prepare anything ourselves. I guess it didn't matter anyway, though, no one could hear the wedding--I guess there was no PA system?
Also, if it has recently rained, I would make sure you have either a plastic isle runner on hand, or opt to get married in the alcove. I completely ruined my wedding heels, and had to have my wedding dress cleaned twice to make it look presentable again. The shoes and cleaning added up to a wasted $200.
The photographer was very sweet lady, but left my husband and I to arrange our families for photos. I was expecting more direction and ideas from her. We ended up getting a few photos out of a hundred or so that looked decent.

My wife and I were married at Stone Crest Cellars in August 2010. Here's my take:
The positives:
We were in awe of view of the Pacific Ocean just outside the B&B's back yard. The first night we stayed in the house, and the next night we moved to the cottage (aka "The Love Shack"), which is a few hundred feet away from the B&B in a small enclave of homes on a cliff above the beach.
We really liked the cottage and its 40s and 50s decor and record player. Breakfast was decent, and Judy and her assistant, Morgan, were friendly accommodating, as well. It was a nice touch when Judy lit a fire for us in the home's large fireplace and offered us port and chocolates after we returned from a seafood dinner in Newport.
The negatives:
When we arrived in the afternoon the first day, we were weary from traveling. We checked in and went to our room to nap, but we were unable to sleep because there was a wedding at the house. There were quite a few people roaming the house, and we felt trapped in our room. Also, the B&B offers wine, cheese and grapes each night around 4pm. We partook the first night, but felt like we couldn't the second night because there was another wedding at the house with a throng of people milling about. We felt unwelcome when we had to go the house to get soap because the cottage was out. People stared at us like, "Who are you?"
Our biggest disappointment was the photography that was part of our wedding package. When we booked the package, my wife specifically asked if we needed to hire a wedding photographer and was told no. Judy said photography was done by Photography By Danaya (which turned out to be Judy's daughter). Unfortunately, Danaya wasn't available during our wedding, so Judy had to be officiant and photographer. Very few of the photos Judy took turned out. There were lots of shadows and awkward poses--they were amateur. The photography session lasted about 30 minutes right after our short wedding ceremony. We felt rushed, as there was a wedding rehearsal for a larger wedding right after ours. Hire your own photographer if you want good photos!
All in all, we liked the location, but there were times we felt like a king and queen and times when we felt like village serfs

PROS: The ocean view and outdoor setting were beautiful.
CONS:
1. Owner's daughter = "the photographer" = a TERRIBLE job (Why all the photos of her child? Why only 1 picture of the bride's mom in the whole batch)? Did not set up the photo scenes/poses well at all.
2. The PA system did not work so no one heard a word of the vows that were said. When I mentioned this to Judy later (I am a quiet, kind person), she was hostile and said "Well, it worked fine before the ceremony". I was not even complaining to her - just telling her that she may want to check into it for the next wedding.
3. Not nearly enough parking, even for only 17 cars.
4. Indoor reception area was dated and unattractive plus there is NO "view of the ocean" from this area unless you stood by a small door or went to up the stairs to an indoor walkway.
5. Judy pressured my daughter heavily to "get downstairs" - My daughter came down 15 mins after scheduled (We had to go out and direct car parking), and this 15 min delay was obviously upsetting to Judy, which stressed us out because of Judy's attitude. Perhaps she should have someone outside attempting to park cars in their small space?
Bottom Line: Beautiful location, adequate service, POOR photography. Advice: Please Hire Your Own Photographer!
Vendor response to review
We work closely with each couple in the planning process to provide a wedding day which reflects them and their desires. Unfortunately our staff was the target of an unhappy Step Mom who's role was less than she expected. We work hard to ensure each couple's day is stress free and they are gently guided through each transition based upon flexibility and their needs. Our venue is less than 6 years old and certainly not outdated. Views of a vast ocean from 30 ft cathedral windows just 100 ft from the beach as well as an altar which hovers as close as 15ft can be enjoyed by every guest. The most important feedback comes from every couple and we certianly received our share of compliments from this particular pair.
