BRIDES AND GROOMS STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Here's a copy of the review my husband put on Yelp (though Yelp filtered it out) - this says it all:

A short summary before I get into details: expensive, rude, no management accountability, inexperienced driver, disrespectful, racist? --- Yelp needs to create 0 stars for this company.

Note that the other reviews on here are probably fake or at least posted by friends of the company. Feel free to message me if you have any doubts about the legitimacy of mine.

I created my Yelp account just to give Stretch Limousine, Inc. their well-deserved review. Our experience with this company was horrible and I don't recommend that anyone foster this business' existence by renting a limousine from them. Their prices are high as it is and they require 20% gratuity up front. This would be ok if they were decent people and provided good service. This isn't the case.

My wife and I rented a 20 person Hummer for our wedding day.

I should have stayed away from this company after my initial phone call with them. As a rationale for their high prices, whoever was on the other end of the line told me that "Other companies will send anyone with a towel on their head to pick you up...". Uhhh OK... a tad bit racist are we? Unfortunately, we weren't finding availability at other companies and I brushed it off and decided to book with them.

Fast forward a few months to a week before our wedding day. I called to ask if we could make our pick-up time an hour earlier than our original contract. They agreed and re-sent me a contract via e-mail. The new contract was $60 higher than what was quoted on their website for a 5-hour Saturday. I e-mailed to have a revised contract sent with the correct price, but didn't get a response.

Fast forward to my wedding day. Here are the things that really angered me, my wife, and every member of the wedding party:
- We paid the driver in full upon pick-up at the correct 5 hour contract rate plus 20% gratuity (remember the contract was wrong, and we got no response when we tried to fix it)
- The driver shook down my father in law, the maid of honor, and a few bridesmaids for the $60. None of them had any idea about payment, so they didn't pay.
- The dispatch called me (the groom, on my wedding day) to tell me that "I owe his driver 60 bucks". I tried to explain that our contract was wrong, but he told me that "he didn't care about the website, he only cares about the contract" I told him we would pay and hung up.
- The driver failed to open the door for us 50% of the time.
- The driver ignored our warnings of flooded roads and a bad route, and wasted a good 30 min of our wedding day.
- The dispatch gave the driver the wrong contract. About 3.5 hours into our contract, the driver started pointing at his watching and telling us we were almost out of time. When we asked him what was wrong, he showed us the contract that he had (which was wrong), threw his hands up in the air, and told us to "call dispatch and figure it out".
- The driver threatened to leave us.
- I spent the next 20 min (in-between my wedding ceremony and reception) arguing with the rude dispatch guys about our contract. Big surprise, I was right and they were wrong.
- We weren't allowed to use the champagne cups in the limo because they would get dirty! What the heck!!

We tried to complain and seek some sort of remedy after this horrible experience, but they have ignored us and been dismissive of our concerns.

This has been an extremely frustrating experience. We had great service from all of our other vendors, and this company acted like they could care less about having our business or not. These guys have no respect, integrity, or accountability. Stay away if you have the choice!

Horrible service. Rude driver. Incompetent company. Charged me for the hour of time that they made me late! I was in a dispute with them for nearly 5 months after my wedding! Here's the story:

I rented a fully stocked, 25 passenger limousine from Stretch Limousine Inc., for my wedding on September 5, 2009. The agreement was for a four hour rental. I spoke with the company three times prior to this date about the service expected the day of the wedding. The limousine was to pick up the Groom and groomsmen and drop at the church and then immediately return to pick of the Bride and Bridesmaids. In addition, three photography locations were given to the company on the third phone call 3 days before the wedding.

On the day of my wedding, the driver picked up the Groom and groomsmen as scheduled. He took them to the church and then waited at the church rather than returning to get the Bride and bridesmaids. It was later discovered by the Father of the Bride that people were in the limousine drinking and hanging out. This limousine was rented for transportation of my wedding party. I’m not sure who the driver allowed into the limo after dropping off the groomsmen. I made a call to dispatch inquiring about my very late limousine. My Limousine finally arrived for the rest of the bridal party around 2:30pm. My ceremony was scheduled to begin at 2pm. The driver made me an hour late for my own wedding which created hours of complications to follow.

As a result of the driver and the company’s incompetence I was rushed through my wedding photographs and had to cut many of them out entirely. The driver did not know the discussed photo locations, so one of the bridesmaids had to write them down for him. The driver was moody and rude throughout the excursion. The limousine had one bottle of champagne and 12 cans of beer. That is not appropriately stocked for a 25 passenger limousine that I paid over $1000 for. We arrived at the Swissotel for my reception at 6:15pm. We were supposed to be at the reception at 5pm. We missed the cocktail hour.

I was not provided adequate service promised for my wedding day by Stretch Limousine Inc. In fact the poor service compromised my day in too many ways to truly calculate. Don't rent from Stretch Limousine Inc., Chicago, IL!!!!!

LOVE this company, especially compared to other limo companies in Chi City. Mike, my then boyfriend now husband, and I used them a lot for other events (airport drop-offs and pick-ups, getting to sports games, etc.) prior to making the big decision to use them for our wedding. And, like usual, they were great. It was August in Chicago - can someone say HOT?! - but both limos were comfortably a/c-ed despite the heat. We never ran out of champagne, beer, soda or ice. The car was decorated exactly as requested to match the bridesmaids' dresses. The driver was waiting for us with a smile at every turn. I have never had a problem with this company for any of my transportation needs, wedding day included, and would highly recommend it to brides in the Chicago area - like my sister next weekend... Me and my wife Dorothy booked a beautiful chrysler 300 limo for our wedding back in May 2009. The entire experience and service was wonderful. Our driver Matt was very knowledgeable and knew the City of Chicago very well. In spite of the fact that our wedding date was in May during prom reservation, the rate was very competitive. Of course, it could have be cheaper but our overall satisfaction is high.

We were incredibly impressed with the quality of transportation service from Stretch Limo. We ordered two white stretch limos for the whole day. One for the bridal party and one for parents. My husband negotiated an excellent rate. We can not complain. Anyway, the limos were in excellent condition, stocked with beer and lots of soda on a very hot day. We continue using Stretch limo since than. Highly recommended.
