Studio 2131

Studio 2131 was the perfect space for our wedding (ceremony and reception). Paula, the venue coordinator was extremely helpful and made the planning process very easy, especially during the last week with all the last minute details. The space provided a very personal and intimate setting for all of our guests, and we could not have been happier with our experience. Studio 2131 exceeded all of our expectations and allowed us to relax and enjoy such a special day. Thank you Studio 2131!

Paula provided excellent support and assistance from the initial planning through the day of my daughter's wedding and reception. She's professional, experienced, and always had great suggestions. The event space was perfect - from the Tuscan kitchen area, the brick walls, and beautiful windows.

She went above and beyond to make sure our special day went smoothly by making herself available to help with many last minute details. I would recommend 2131 to anyone wanting a beautiful venue with full service support and coordination.

We held our ceremony and reception at Studio 2131. We were so happy with the space and so were our guests. Located in the crossroads district, it is urban and cool but not cold. For the location and the size of the venue, it a very good deal. Other venues in the area were super $$$$. If you have a moderate sized party (less than 140) it's worth checking out. Paula, the studio manager, is organized and so helpful.

Paula was excellent to work with as she made our rehearsal dinner perfect.The studio itself was a hit.The only problem now is we wish we could have another party there...

This is a beautiful venue in the heart of the Crossroads Art District. It was intimate yet classy and roomy enough for 150 guests. It's much more affordable than many other Kansas City venues that charge $5000 for their space alone.

The communication was excellent and the lady who we dealt with, Paula, was professional.

The space was absolutely perfect for our wedding and I would recommend it if you want a trendy downtown spot for your reception without the downtown...

Studio 2131 was perfect. Our goal was to make the evening as elegant and relaxed as possible for our guests-we chose the right venue. Parking was great with an enclosed lot attached to the building. The ceremony room had a skylight and exposed brick wall that is stunning. The caterer and guests loved the open concept (another exposed brick wall) for the reception. Lighting is excellent because it is a photography studio and can be adjusted for drama and creating mood.

Great bathroom facilities--large TV for video presentations--great sound system, extraordinarily reasonable price for all the amenities. Guests raved about the place and we had a wonderful time!

We had a WONDERFUL experience with Studio 2131! The venue made my heart melt. It was exactly the look I was looking for and did not require a lot of decor since the lighting and brick was so fabulous on it's own. We were able to bring in all of our own vendors. Paula was fantastic to work with and she was very helpful as I asked a million questions. She always got back to my emails and I felt very confident that she knew what she was doing! The price was right up our alley for our small wedding (<125 guests) and I really can not imagine a more perfect venue. Plus, thanks to the fantastic lighting and interesting look of the building, we had amazing, unique photos! Highly recommend- I would get married in there all over again!

We really loved this reception site! Everything was perfect. Paula was so helpful and took care of everything for us. We were not able to view the venue before the night of the wedding, but it was beautiful. Everyone loved it!

Paula is amazing to work with. Sometimes she could be a little gruff to speak to, but she was totally flexible and easy to work with so I didn't mind. The space is less expensive than most in KC and has a wonderully comfortable, cozy yet chic ambiance.

I loved the venue. I only had the reception at the location. (My ceremony was outside at another location.) The layout worked out perfectly for our appr. 100 people. I wouldn't really recommend more than 125 or so people if you are serving dinner. We served dinner on the buffet, and put up tables in both rooms for people to eat on. In the smaller room we left some room for a dance floor. We hung paper lanterns and some light from the rafters. The owners were very helpful and easy to work with. I chose not to serve beer, so I can't comment on that. The price was maybe a bit high, but the look was exactly what I wanted and made it worth it. It was comfortable but still modern! I highly recommend it.

I absolutely fell in love with 2131 the first time I saw the space and after having our wedding ceremony and reception there, I could not imagine having been married anywhere else. Not only is the space modern and original, the service is excellent. Paula Morris helped us plan our wedding from beginning to end, was always available by e-mail or in person with our questions or concerns and coordinated with all of our vendors. Additionally, Paula was there the entire day and evening of our wedding to ensure that everything was seamless. And your caterer will LOVE working in the gorgeous open kitchen. You won't be dissappointed with a wedding hosted by 2131!

Studio 2131 was exactly the place I envisioned for my wedding. My husband and I wanted something comfortable but elegant, arty but not pretentious, and intimate but not clausterphobic. 2131 nailed it! It was the first place we saw, and I knew immediately that we could quit looking. It was the perfect size for my 130 guests, catering, and photobooth. We loved the homey feel of the kitchen! Paula was great -- she met with us several times and made everything work, including my wish to hang artwork donated from friends. I would highly recommend 2131 to any bride looking for an offbeat space full of personality and charm.

Studio 2131 is a beautiful and unique venue tucked away in the heart of the Crossroads. They will work with you to create a customized event and are not afraid to try new things in their space. The space is great for a mid sized ceremony and reception and the event space rental fees are reasonable. I can't wait to work in Studio 2131 again!
