We searched for weeks looking for the right photographer. Our search was not simply based on talent or price because San Diego has plenty of professional photography teams that can do a great job at a fair price. The images of that day last forever and we needed the people capturing our moment to be more than hired help and that can be tricky. However, Shannon and Brent made that happen. We found them after about 6 weeks of searching and countless meetings with other photographers. Searching random websites we can across their page. The images on their website really caught our attention and we scheduled an appointment. During our introduction they spent so much time asking us questions and getting a better feel for us. They took the time to answer why certain pictures are taken, how to determine the best timeline for pictures, how to maximize photo time so you spent more time with guests and are very thorough in their approach. That approach made us comfortable moving forward with them, a decision we will never regret. Our package included an engagement session along with day of wedding photography. Studio Carre agreed to shoot our engagement session at 2 locations, the San Diego Zoo and Coronado, something a lot of other photographers wanted to charge extra for. The engagement session turned out magnificent. Shannon and Brent know so much about lighting, placement of props and the surroundings that every image looked perfect. They have a great eye for what they do. Our wedding day pictures were even better. Our wedding venue was a bit out of the ordinary but Shannon and Brent got super excited during the site visit (yes they took the time to do a site visit) and on the day of our wedding they delivered. Arrived on time, ready with all equipment and captured every moment both obvious and subtle. I can’t say enough about how talented Studio Carre is and how much we enjoyed spending so much time with them. Shannon and Brent you two ROCK!!!!

Shannon and Brent at Studio Carre took excellent care of us on our wedding day. I could not be happier. Shannon's very professional personality, mixed with Brent's quirky, fun and silly personality is a good mix, and it helped keep our day running smoothly and kept it FUN. Shannon and Brent at Studio Carre are the best photographers I have ever used. I used Shannon for my maternity shots 2 years prior, and had no doubt that I would make arrangements for her to shoot my wedding in Hawaii! She even squeezed in a boudoir session for me before the ceremony. She is so good at posing you just right to make you look more beautiful than you could ever imagine!! Not only did Brent and Shannon worked together to capture every magical moment during our big day, they made us feel so comfortable. When we got the pictures back, they were better than expected, and not a moment missed!
