Brides By Sullums of NEPA

Sullum's is definitely a shop managed old-school. They have the expertise to execute what you want, BUT you have to stay on top of calling them, making sure they have things noted down correctly, etc. It seems like the management doesnt communicate effectively to the staff or vice versa or?? The lady that dresses you during your bridal appointment and the alterations lady are great! The management could certainly make some improvements in the way they run things in terms of efficiency and communication.

We selected Sullum's because they did have a large selection of dresses and beat out all other dress shops in terms of price and the free alterations deal was great for the girls, my mom and myself. I also got my bridal gown there so it was easy to have everything at one location...

Sullum's did a great job helping me find exactly what I wanted.
The seamstress is EXCELLENT, very attentive to what the bride's opinion and will do any alteration necessary to make sure the dress looks its best.
I did have to have a few more fittings than I thought, but in the end, it was well worth it. When I picked up my dress, it was all ready- pressed and all.

I had four bridesmaids in my wedding party, and the two who got measured at Sullums were measured improperly. The dresses were scheduled to arrive at the end of April, I called in the first week of May, and was told at that point the dresses were running late, and it would still be another week for my wedding on June 20. When the dresses finally arrived, my maid of honor's dress was too small, she had lost weight since the initial measure. One of the other girls was very much too big. Another tailor had said she was measured incorrectly by 12 inches. Sullums did do the alterations on that dress for free, but the alterations were messed up twice, and three days before the wedding another tailor had to correct the problems and the dress had to be picked up on the wedding day. The dress still did not look the way it should have. The two girls who sent their measurements to the store had dresses that fit properly. I would not recommend this store at all for any aspect of your wedding and I am thankful I did not get my gown from here.

They ordered me the gown of my dreams and it cost way less than I found it anywhere else. The service is exceptional although you have to call them to check on the status of your dress. They only charged me $35 to alter my gown, wow!!! They helped me choose everything that I needed including my veil, shoes and slip. Fantastic women with an old fashion style of their own. My mother bought her wedding dress from this same store!!
