Sunlight Orchestra - Eddie Grimberg

There is no one like Eddie to make a party come alive. He has the ability to sense the crowd and keep everyone on the dance floor. He and his band can play a wide variety of American, Hebrew and Latin music to satisfy everyone. On top of that he is very flexible to the demands of his customer (I can be very demanding). Last, but perhaps not least, he doesn't just provide the music but also lots of very valuable advice on other other aspects of the three weddings he has done for us. I have recommended him to many and will continue to do so. The best!

There's a reason Eddie is popular - it's because he's phenomenal!!! He knows how to read a crowd, how to play the music people want, and how to get everyone up and dancing, and how to keep them there! We had a Russian/American wedding, at an American venue (i.e. hotel as opposed to a russian restaurant) and Eddie played all the music that would appeal to both sides of the family!!!! The night just flew by, and Eddie kept us easily entertained until 2am. He also has little games that he plays that gets everyone involved, and provides some light-hearted entertainment throughout the night. He also managed to put together one of the best hora's I have ever been a part of (and this is not just coming from me, but from all our guests who are still discussing it).

Eddie and his band also performed during my ceremony. And do you know what they had that people are STILL raving about? A violin player who walked down the aisle before everyone else to get the ceremony started!!!! It was so perfect.

While I did give Eddie a list of songs I loved/didn't love, I ultimately let him do his thing, and trusted him. And the fact that both moms are happy with him, just solidifies the fact that hiring him was one the best decisions I made.

I'm not one to throw out compliments lightly - as I'm sure my wife would attest to =) - but I am here to give Eddie and his band high marks for the job they did at our wedding.

Eddie is a top notch MC and he and the band kept people dancing and having a great time throughout the night.

I'd recommend his services without hesitation.

One caveat: we are Russian and had a Russian style wedding. For this, Eddie and the band are fantastic. I don't know how he would do at a more traditional american wedding

WE LOVEDDDDDDDDD Eddie and the band. Honestly we were skeptical at first because it's not like either me or my husband have planned a wedding before and we KNEW that MUSIC IS KEYYYY to a good time. Honestly I can't even imagine our wedding without this band. THEY DID AN AMAZING JOB and everybody was on the floor dancing. Eddie really knows not only how to lead a crowd but to also MC the whole evening. We saw and heard from people about how good they would be but only until after our wedding did we realize how good they are and how much fun our guests had. THATS THE BIGGESTS DIFFERENCE... when your guests tell you over and over that they had a blast you know you planned well.

Sunlight Orchestra did an amazing job entertaining our guests during our wedding. They kept the vibe going all night long and everyone danced till the lights came back on! Eddie was a great MC and kept the energy going. They were prompt, professional, and lively!! I would recommend them for any event!

Eddie Grimberg along with Sunlight Orchestra are absolutely amazing. I have been to many weddings and was very particular when choosing a band for my own wedding. Eddie and his band performed in San Francisco a couple of times before my big day and we received very positive feedback from family and friends who attended those events. Eddie along with his coordinator Beata, came to San Francisco for an initial meeting with us and were extremely professional and prepared to answer all of our questions as well as show us some of the work they have done. We immediately knew that we wanted them to perform on our special day. They by far exceeded our expectations. All of our guests danced the night away until the very end! Everyone was extremely surprised that they were able to dance the whole night and had the best time of their lives (including us of course). As an MC, Eddie is spectacular and original. We didn't have any corny games or awkward moments. Everything went very tastefully and smoothly. If I were to do it all over again, I would definitely choose Sunlight Orchestra, They really made our night! They are the best in my book!

These guys are something else!! Our wedding had loads of problems come up last minute, one of the waiters fell and cracked his head open right in the ballroom 2 minutes before all the guests were about to walk in. The florist came 4 hours late, and forgot to do half the decorations that were in the contract. There were other things like this, but the guests had no idea anything was going on because these guys lead the event so well, and created such a wonderful energy in the room that even with our very diverse crowd of 180, everyone was dancing non stop!!!! The activities they made up were so unpredictable and so fun!!! And the way the music was done, the quality of the sound, all the setup, the lighting show, just AMAZING!!!!!!!! the greatest thing was his voice!!! Beautiful, masculine, deep and passionate!!! It's been 1.5 month since the wedding and people are still calling talking about the band. When all went wrong, them and Beata from Events boutique saved the wedding!

You are awesome, simply the best!!! All my guests (and me, of course) were so impressed by your performance and excellent wedding planning! I could not even think what could be done to improve it and would never look for someone else. Too bad I don't have more weddings in my family (maybe my future grandchildren?)

Everyone from Sunlight Orchestra was amazing, especially Eddie Grimberg who was part of the band and my MC. He understand everything that my husband I and wanted as far as music and entertainment and he made it possible. We had no worries and knew that it would be all taken care of on our wedding day. From the night we went to a band showcase, we knew that we had to have them at our wedding, and we are so happy that we decided to make live music a priority at our reception.They has an amazing group of people working for them. They are extremely responsive, helpful and willing to do whatever it is you'd like for your event. The band Onyx was absolutely incredible and totally made the night. They had everyone, and I mean everyone (even people we didn't think would get up from their seats) dancing, the entire night.They were absolutely wonderful, and our guests cannot stop raving about them. Everyone is still raving about how fun they were and how great the music was. I highly recommend them!

Wow! I am so happy we chose they as the band for our wedding! They were absolutely fantastic! Our guests are still talking about them and telling us they were the best wedding band they have ever heard! They made sure to involve everyone there in the party and got everyone on the dance floor. The energy displayed by each band member was overwhelming!! They played the songs we requested -- but also added some of their own choices based on the crowd and every song was done perfectly.

Eddie was the best Master of Ceremony ever! You get great singer, MC and a band all in one. Eddie was funny, enterntaining, witty, extremely energetic. We have been asking all of our friends and met with other MC's before we hired Eddie, and we are so happy we made the right choice.

After working with Eddie Grimberg and his band (my son's Bar Mitzva), I cannot think of anyone else, I would ever hire or recommend. He is an expert musician, MC, band leader, etc. His level of professionalism is top notch. His personality is just great. My wife and I loved him, from the first moment that we met him. We had many family events where enterteinment was provided by Sulight. What a joy, what a great parties. We feel that Eddie was born for the stage. He feels the audience and responce with what they want. Great stage manners. Many of our family firends hired Eddie for their events. Recently, another friend hired Sunlight to perform at their wedding in November of 2010. Highly recomended. simply the best.
