I would highly recommend Destin Wedding Company! The whole wedding planning process seemed too easy! They took care of every detail! I didn't worry about anything! I had the perfect day thanks to The Destin Wedding Company! The beach set up was perfect, the reception and decor were perfect, and the food was amazing! They also recommended amazing vendors! I can't thank them enough for my perfect day!

First off, my wedding was very beautiful and more than I could have asked for. Everyone could not stop talking about how fun and beautiful the wedding was. They said they have never been to a better wedding. Randa was an amazing and sweet coordinator since they changed our planner midway thru the process. She was the most responsive and really followed through. Susan really helped out on a couple of issues when I was having a trouble with the florist. She was also, helpful when our beach house reception site decided to charge an extra $1500 and she was instrumental in finding another location for close the same amount. Dan was our go-to-person the week of the wedding for set up and crew and put on one great party. Our original coordinator Brandi was awesome, wish she was still with the company. The food was excellent! My flowers were the most frustrating, but Susan went and talked with her handled the situation and they ended up being gorgeous. The DJ they provided did exactly what I wanted for music for the night. We did have some communication issues with the company, however the final product ended up being what was most important. We read the negative reviews and almost forfeited our deposit, but I am glad we stuck it out. I will agree with the other reviews that mention the all inclusive is not so inclusive. The extras that end up being essentials add up, like reception site, cake, dj, dance floor, extra flowers, sound, appetizers, alcohol, etc.

My wedding/reception turned out perfectly! I wouldn't have changed a thing. Miranda was my planner for the event and she was an absolute doll and so very helpful. She truly is there for the bride and groom. The only thing I was not very satisfied with was how long it took for someone to respond to my call/email when I had questions/concerns. There was just a lack of communication on that aspect of the planning. Also, this company states that it is an "all in one" package deal but there are a lot of add ons and things that aren't included such as lighting, dj, sound package for the ceremony, cake, etc. So just be aware of this when planning. I am however very happy with how my wedding turned out. We had a blast. Thanks everyone for your hard work!




Worked with these people to organize my daughter's wedding and it was a big mistake. They were hard to get hold of. They didn't have an office to visit when I was in town and it was impossible to get anyone to answer their phones. We'd already given them a deposit that they wouldn't refund so I felt like I had to stick with them even though I thought better of it. The wedding itself went ok and we were lucky with the weather but the reception was extremely disorganized and teh food cold and not as promised. All in all I'd never recommend this company to anyone.




Billy, Susan, Muri and Miranda were the best ! Miranda was an angel and totally knew her stuff. We were flexible in the time of the wedding and took Miranda's advice and the beach wedding happened even during a tropical storm ! They found us the perfect beach house in a lovely area. We had planned for a beach bonfire but the storms and winds prevented us from doing so. We were sad about that but the fireworks were a nice surprise. We had a smallish affair around 30 people and it was perfect. Just wish the weather had been more cooperative.




the negative review of this company is spot on. DO NOT USE THEM!!! they fly by the seat of their pants. all talk and no delivery. we paid this amount for the rehearsal dinner which was for less than 30 people. It was just barbecue!!! All food was cold and theynran out of beans! I had to be aware of everything. they had my Sangria out for the rehearsal dinner and it was to be for the wedding. I made the dessert and had to ask them to plate it and serve it. They forgot and after finally finding a server, I showed them what to serve in the refrigerator. next thing you know, they are bringing out the cheesecakes that were for the wedding. disaster avoided. Billy did not itemize the bill, just last minute (day of the rehearsal) asking for money so he could go shopping. I was in no state of mind in the Walmart to argue over it. we also paid for the bar for the wedding and were to have a bartender. I will not go into what a disaster the wedding catering was, but on my end, the bartender was doing everything but tending the bar. wine and beer were not out, no ice and yes, the Sangria reappeared, but no fruit in it (that I bought and cut up). here was not enough beer...he claimed we drank it during the day, which we did not. You do not mind paying top dollar if you do not have to worry about a thing and all is done correctly. do not make the mistake we did...they are not prepared to handle a wedding with any sort of class or expertise.




I had only been to the beach 2 times in my entire life. I did not have a clue as to how to plan a destination wedding. I made several calls to local vendors in Destin without receiving call-backs. Then I received a call from the Destin Wedding Company and talked with Susan Parker who gave me the confidence and the desire to celebrate my upcoming wedding in Destin. We did not have a wedding site until she outlined several possible wedding homes that could sleep as many as 20 people and were within walking distance of a beach wedding. The home we selected with Susan’s assistance allowed us to have the reception on the premises as well. After the beach wedding we were treated to an incredible reception with several stations that included carved roast beef, sautéed shrimp, and chicken and pineapple k-bobs. As the guests arrived they were handed glasses of either red or white wine and an appetizer suitable for the occasion. After the reception and before we left to spend our first night in a local 5 star hotel Susan had arranged a send off with sparklers and blown bubbles that created a memory we will never forget. We will definitely be returning to Destin to celebrate our first anniversary.




I highly recommend staying far far away from this company (Destin Wedding Company). It started off great as we are getting married in the Destin area. They got us all the information we needed and initially started speaking with the owner who is Susan Parker but then she has her husband Bill Parker step in b/c he's a "shmoozer" and knows how to negotiate and promise you the world. We had come to agreement and they sent over the contract but after getting THREE negative reviews from local vendors who have been in the business 10+ years and ranked consistently in the top of "The Best of the Knot" we decided to put things on hold until we met with them in person. We aren't the type of people to make quick decisions on what other people say. I called Bill and he said it wouldn't be an issue to hold off until we met in person this coming November when are flying down for Thanksgiving. All of a sudden, out of the blue, I get an email from Susan who I haven't spoken with since the process started due to Bill taking the initiative stating "if we didn't sign the contract with her immediately that we would be in danger of losing our house that we put a $2500 deposit down for" with Crye-Leike Realtors. She stated that she was working directly with the Director of Rental Homes and that as long as I worked with them then there would be no issues due to the size of our wedding party which is around 100-125 people. After speaking with Crye-Leike and finding out this was not true, I immediately contacted them to let them know we wouldn't be working with them any longer and they could have cared less. They are a "WEDDING MILL" kind of like a "PUPPY MILL", get as many weddings as they possibly can and make as much money as they can without focusing on QUALITY and customer service. Luckily, they spent several hours working on planning our wedding and they didn't get a dime out of us and highly recommend doing your homework before speaking with these people . They stated they owned the Ruth's Chris solely and come to find out they only own 1/3 of it. Also heard they used Winn-Dixie for catering, have a staff photographer with little to no experience, have been up to 1 hr late for multiple weddings causing photographers schedules to mess up, and throwing last minute charges on you unexpectedly, and they also do MULTIPLE weddings on the same day which is totally wrong to do b/c they can't focus on just you like they should. If you are an out of towner like us, do your due diligence and make sure your wedding day is planned just for you the way YOU WANT IT!

Susan and Bill Parker with Destin Wedding Company were a pleasure to work with. Before hiring them, I already had much of my wedding planned. Therefore, in hiring Destin Wedding Co, I was only looking for someone to help with organizing the day of, renting furniture, making sure everything went smoothly the day of. Over time, Susan was also able to help me with a florist, something I was going to do myself and am sooooo happy that I finally used a florist. She also confirmed an officiant for me, as well as a sound system. However, with all of this, the $$$ went up everytime. In looking back though, we got a planner, a florist, all of our furniture, our officiant for a decent price. My only complaint is that some of the very MINOR details weren't ready when the reception time came..... my dear friend saw that the candles around the house weren't lit and scrambled to do that herself. The guest book wasn't put out until the end, when many of our guests had already left. Again, compared to a wonderful event that Susan and Bill helped us to throw, the minor details can be forgotten. Overall though, this couple was EXTREMELY sweet, she knew her stuff, and helped weather a wind storm that would rival any hurricane during my wedding. It was truly a beautiful event and I do have to say thanks to them for that.
