My husband and I had our ceremony at the reception hall. We decided that we would like to have a pianist instead of a DJ for the ceremony. We looked online and found Susan Tahmoosh. We are so glad that we did. She was very professional and quick to respond to any questions that we had throughout the planning process. She gave us ideas on songs and also welcomed our ideas. I couldn't have asked for more on the day of the wedding. Susan helped to make it extra special. Our guests commented on how beautiful the music sounded. It flowed beautifully, and it was obvious that she has years of experience. I am so happy that we chose Susan!! I recommend her to everyone!

Susan did a fantastic job at our wedding! She played for our ceremony and cocktail hour, and our guests really enjoyed hearing her. I was so glad that a friend of mine recommended Susan to play for our wedding. (We decided to get married at the reception site, rather than a church, so I was looking for someone to provide live music for our ceremony and cocktail hour.) Susan was so easy to work with, and we're still hearing compliments from our guests about how much they enjoyed the music.
We really appreciated her versatility, being able to play traditional, classical and contemporary music with ease. The cocktail hour was also beautiful; great background music (not too loud, and versatile enough to be enjoyed by all of our guests). Susan Tahmoosh began playing the piano at the age of 6. She studied Classical
music and competed in the National Piano Playing Auditions for 12 years, earning a diploma from the American College of Musicians. Since then, Susan has performed and recorded with numerous cover and original bands in and around the New York City
area. Her eclectic style and years of experience have made her a sought-after keyboardist, performing with artists such as Phoebe Snow, actor/singer Sinoa Loren, Kate Schellenbach (formerly of Luscious Jackson), Antigone Rising, opera singer Aprile

Do you perform for ceremonies only? No. I'm also hired to perform for the cocktail hour and/or reception.
What kind of instrument do you play/bring to the venue? For most venues, I perform on a Yamaha NP-30 portable Digital Piano. It's lightweight, compact, and has great grand piano sounds, as well as organ and string sounds, which are perfect for most weddings. It's a great instrument for any size venue and setting: large or small and intimate, indoors or outdoors. How can I contact you to check availability and for a quote?
