Sweet Gems Cakes

I didn't get to work with Grace personally- but she made our 6" cutting cake for the reception. I had cupcakes, but I also wanted to keep the tradition of the Bride & Groom cutting the cake. We chose the tuxedo cake, it was amazing! I only got one bite of it, so I will more than likely try to make a visit to her bakery- but it was moist and tasted great. She was able to get the design I wanted to go with my decor! Her pricing was so reasonable to. I went to other bakeries that wanted $100+ for the small cake I was looking for, I paid more than half LESS for that!

Our cake was exactly what we were looking for and tasted so yummy! Grace is extremely easy to work with and has ideas to bring your vision to the next level. The only hard part for us was picking our favorite flavor because they were all amazing! She is a very talented baker and artist, and it definitely shows in her cakes.

First time I met Grace I immediately liked her for her easygoingness, talent, & professionalism. During our consultation, not only did she share with me samples of her talented work, she also encouraged me to sprung my creativity! Her red-velvet cake was simply love at first sight! It was fabulous working with such a low-key celebrity chef! You have to try it yourself!!

Grace was brilliant. She took my ideas and ran with it. The end result far exceeded my expectations. The taste of the cake was mouth watering too. We would highly recommend Sweet Gems to anyone for any event!

Grace was so great to work with! She was flexible with the scheduling of our tasting. She was professional and more importantly, she was honest!!! We were looking for a particular look for our cake and she was the only baker who told us what we wanted might would not work. As a stressed bride, I truly appreciated that! The last thing I wanted was a baker to say "Sure! We can do that!" and then show up the day of the wedding and the cake is NOT what you imagined. With Grace, I knew I was going to get exactly what I wanted.

The cake itself was so great! It was moist and delicious! We got so many compliments on our cake. We have all been to weddings where the cake was horrible, dry, and the icing too sweet. Sweet Gems has the best cake...again, our guests loved the cake! Grace was very professional and personable...I truly enjoyed working with her.
