Oh my gosh Sweet Life cakes are the most amazing cakes. They design the cake exactly how you want and the taste is out of this world. Our wedding cake was so beautiful, I love our wedding pictures of the cake cause I stare at that picture and say, "Wow, our cake was so beautiful!" Things happen so fast on your wedding day that many don't get to appreciate their cake. We have pictures, memories and we set some aside to freeze. They showed up a little late due to the fact that the driver got lost. The value is spendy it was $6.00 a slice but OMG the taste and design is out of this world!

Amazing 5 layer cake! Just what I wanted and I did a terrible job explaning it =) Q is the best in the business, I can't say enough great things about her!! And of course the cake was delicious =)

They cake was wonderful it was exactly what we envisioned and it was delicious!

Major pro: DELICIOUS cakes if you buy it from their store. Major con: NOT a classical cake tasting for a bride-to-be. I walked out SO disappointed, and feeling like I hadn't had the right experience! Instead of actually trying the cakes put together in a variety of flavors, they gave us the base ingredients (e.g., plain chocolate cake, plain vanilla cake, chocolate ganache in a container, blueberry compote in a container, etc.) and then wanted us to combine them ourselves at home. This does NOT result in what the cake would actually taste like when professionally done. So my advice - if you have been to their store regularly and have tried things out by buying slices there, go for it if you know what you want. BUT don't plan on the cake tasting helping you whatsoever. We had even told them flavors we wanted to try in advance, and they still didn't deliver at our tasting. Ultimately, this led to us not choosing them for our wedding day, as all the other tastings we attended were much more wedding-like and actually had real cake slices for us to taste test - a more professional atmosphere that actually delivered what we were seeking. Thus though I love Sweet Life's cake generally, I wouldn't recommend them if you want a true wedding cake tasting experience.

I already knew that Sweet Life made great pastries but the cheesecakes we had at our wedding were HEAVEN! We ordered three cheesecakes and four dozen cupcakes from them for our wedding and we barely had anything left by the end. It was the perfect combo for low fuss wedding cake and looked great. My mother-in-law loved the lemon sourcream cupcakes we had and she is so hard to please on sweets! I would highly recommend using these guys for any get together or celebration.

We choose sweetlife for our wedding reception and our guests are still talking about how beautiful our cake was...and how delicious! We had several flavors but the most talked about was the chocolate orgasm flavor. We also choose orange flavored cake with orange flavored buttercream. People said that it was the best wedding cake they had ever had..and we would have to agree! We enjoyed every bite! I gave the cake designer an idea of how I wanted the cake designed and let her work her magic. I remember walking in and seeing my cake for the first time..it was so beautiful it brought tears to my eyes. Sweet life is THE place to go for your wedding cake.

Sweet Life makes such amazing cakes. They aren't the typical dry wedding cake...every piece is fresh and delicious! Our cake was so good and our guests loved it. There are lots of choices with flavors and Q perfectly carried out my design.

Absolutely beautiful AND delicious! Sweet Life made my cake better than I imagined and worked really well with deciphering what my husband and I wanted even though we came in with vague ideas.

My cake was beautiful and the guests told me it was the best cake they had ever tasted. When it was delivered at the venue though, they set it up and left without telling anyone and when I came down to look at it, it was missing half the detail we had discussed. I called right away and she came back and finished. I was a bit panicked, but it all worked out and was very beautiful in the end.

The cake we chose from Sweet Life was FABULOUS. Many of our guests went back to try every flavor of the cake (we had different flavors in each layer) because it was so good. We were able to pick a cake that was personalized for us and that made it even more special.

Our wedding cake was amazing! It was beautiful & tasted so good! We got rave reviews on the cake from all of our guests. We had a tasting before hand with so many different flavors & combinations. The cake looked exactly how I described & was exactly what I asked for.

Wedding cake was absolutely beautiful and tasted even better. Ordered enough to serve 60 and it fed a crowd of 80 with lots left over. Had rave reviews from the guests and many declared that it was the best wedding cake they'd ever eaten. Delivery was spot-on time with with no setup or last-minute touches required. Next time we need a cake for a special event, we're livin' the Sweet Life.

We just moved to Eugene last year from New Mexico and started planning our wedding several months after we arrived, not an easy thing to do when you're new to an area. One of the first things we heard from friends and locals was that we HAD to go to Sweet Life Patisserie because they have the best deserts. Everyone was right! Our experience at Sweet Life was a bit mixed at first. I initially asked someone in the store about booking them for our wedding cake. The clerk gave us a brochure and told us to contact someone at Bliss next door because they handle the wedding cakes. I called a gal there who told me they were booked for that weekend and just about every weekend of the entire summer. I was disappointed and started searching around for another cake vendor.

Several months later, we still hadn't found anyone we liked. I called Sweet Life again and asked if we could just order a 3-tier cake with layers in the flavor of our choice with white frosting and a few calla lilies. They quoted me a price that was about $200 cheaper than the same cake would've been if I'd ordered it through Bliss as a wedding cake with the consultation appt, tasting, etc. I was excited that we could get a Sweet Life cake after all, but wasn't pleased that they hadn't offered that information on the multiple occasions I've previously spoken with them to try to figure out how to go about ordering a wedding cake.

Overall, I would recommend Sweet Life, but I'd recommend that you order a wedding cake without the consultation through Bliss. The gals there are professional and from the cakes they advertise, are artists in their field. However, for anyone on a budget, the cakes are spendy and the tasting/consultation isn't necessary. We took a photo to Sweet Life of a cake we liked that we saw online and they re-created it almost exactly but for a fraction of the price. We also chose 4 flavors for our 3-tier cake and the extra sheet cake (at least 100 servings), and although we'd only tried 2 of the 4 flavors, all 4 were fantastic. Our guests raved about the cake, which was awesome because wedding cakes are notoriously gorgeous but something that has to be choked down with inch thick goopy frosting and plain cake. The slices were larger than most bakers allow for wedding cakes also. My fiance ordered the cake 48 hours before our wedding, so we didn't need months of notice and a contract. The cake was ready as promised. A friend picked up our cake, which was pretty big, and drove it 2 1/2 hours from Eugene down the Oregon coast. It arrived in perfect condition without requiring a caterer/baker to come and set it up. We have no regrets about choosing Sweet Life and I'm already planning on ordering another specialty carrot cake for my husband's birthday.

The cake we ordered was fabulous. All three layers tasted amazing. My only issue was when it came to how it should be decorated, I picked a cake out of their own album. It had circles of fondant all over. I later called and asked if I could have hearts instead of circles because there were hearts themed throughout the wedding- Invites, I personally made candy heart mints, decorations, dishes etc. They said no problem. When I received the contract, they had made a note of the change. I had a friend drive it 180 miles to my wedding. The cake looked great, but they didn't make the change. I still had circle fondnt instead of hearts. I was not a bridezilla, but if I were, this could have been very upsetting. I love Sweet Life Patisserie and I still order a 6" round of the top layer any time I am in the area.

Sweet Life Desserts was absolutely wonderful! They serve wonderful wedding cakes and can even make them vegan! Nobody at the wedding would have ever guessed it was a vegan cake -- it was beautiful and literally one of the best wedding cakes I've ever tried! I would highly recommend Sweet Life to any one getting married in Oregon. They were friendly and super easy to work with and really try to give you exactly what you want. They also have an amazing variety of cakes, cupcakes and desserts to chose from.

We had tried many different places to make our wedding cake, and had actually picked one since Sweet Life was completely booked up the day of our wedding. Then I got a call that a spot opened up, and we were so excited. The cake was beyond AMAZING! By far the best wedding cake I had ever tasted, and the guests were so impressed taht they kept going back for more. They listened to my wants and needs and met every single one of them. I would reccomend them a million times over!

I will always give a great review to Sweet Life...my favorite place for dessert since I moved here. Beautiful cake...great price!

We absolutely loved the wedding cake that Sweet Life created for us, and our guests unanimously agreed that it was the most beautiful cake they had ever seen. The inside was absolutely scrumptious, and they even made us an extra top layer to save for our first anniversary. They were very friendly, helpful and accommodating in our wishes, and immeduately understood what we wanted. (And my mother in law loved being invited along to taste the cake and frosting. There was so much to taste, we couldn't finish half of it! Delicious!) These people can make anything, I don't think you could find a better bakery.

(We had our wedding in Italy, then a reception in The Netherlands, and a reception in Oregon, and our awesome Sweet Life Cake was the best and the least expensive by FAR)

Sweet Life is the perfect wedding cake vendor. They have the most delicious and most beautiful cakes. They start off with a meeting to get some ideas, and they send you home with about 5 cake flavors and 20 fillings/frostings to try. We had a large 3 tiered cake with 2 side sheet cakes, 3 different flavors. Everyone raved about them!

They are very easy to communicate with, they love to make their cakes a work of art. I drew a design for them and they brought it to life on our cake.

We just defrosted and ate our cake top for our 1st anniversary and it was still DELICIOUS after being in the freezer for a year! lol

I can't say anything bad about our experience with them!

We ordered individual cakes instead of a traditional wedding cake, and they were beautiful and delicious (as always)!

Our wedding guests were served from a beautiful desert buffet featuring brownies, homemade pies and cakes, cookies, tarts, etc., and my husband and I shared our very own beautiful 6" cake from Sweet Life. The R-Rated "Chocolate Orgasm" cake is simply delicious -- orange-scented chocolate cake with dark chocolate mousse and Bavarian cream topped with scrumptious blood orange/white chocolate buttercream and filled with ganache. The small cake size is a terrific value for gourmet on a budget: $15.00 total!

Created a gluten free soy free milk free cake for one of our guests!

We wanted a different kind of cake....a little non-traditional. They were SOOOO cool about it. They even put the action figure cake toppers on it...along with the sticks and green frosting. It was AWESOME!

If you want a taste of heaven to be apart of your wedding then look no further than Sweet Life Patisserie. The naturally rich flavors of these delectable deserts makes a fan out of any pallet. And it is also a feast for the eyes as each part of the scrumptious cake is placed perfectly making it truly a work of art. The employees of Sweet Life are ever helpful. Any questions you may have they know the answer. And time is not an issue, if you need it by 6 pm tomorrow, it will be ready by 5! And the cost comparatively is enough to make your wallet sigh with relief! For my future marriage(s) I'm heading to Sweet Life!

Sweet Life is absolutely delicious and unique. Their desserts are so amazing! The staff is always very friendly and their shop is so quaint and welcoming.

There are sometimes wedding vendors in community that get their reputation by default, just because they are one of only a handful of people in their industry. Sweet Life is very deserving of their great reputation. I see their crafts brought in to many of the weddings that I'm a part of and not only are their cakes beautiful and tasty, but their staff ranks just as high. I've had a chance to get to know Catherine & Q personally and it's easy to see why so many couples put their wedding cake is such good hands. It's not by default. It's by choice. And Sweet Life is a fantastic choice!

Sweet Life Patisserie goes above and beyond just a bakery and considers each cake a true work of art. They are definitely masters of this craft and time after time they have delivered the most beautiful and best tasting cakes around. My personal fav is the chocolate peanut butter....it's AMAZING. Trust me. You and your guests will not be disappointed in this choice.
