There was so many choices of creating the cake. The cost of the cake was very good and the little kids loved it! Came on time and it was my dream cake for my wedding.

Rachel did such a wonderful job w/ our wedding cake that I had future brides approached me about the cake, it was delicious. Definitely recommend this place.

Rachael was AMAZING. Her friendly disposition was welcoming and inviting from the get-go. She helped us decide very quickly and easily what our perfect wedding cake would be. We didn't even ask to taste some flavors that she brought out for us. We were so glad she did because we ended up picking her "specialty", which we hadn't previously thought of. We gave her a general idea for the "look" of the cake. When we saw it on the big day, it was PERFECT! And it tasted AMAZING...just as it did on our tasting day. Dealing with Rachael was easy..NO stress. It was the one thing I didn't have to worry about while planning the wedding day. Perfect and highly recommended!

Rachael from Sweet Traders did an excellent job with our wedding cake for our July 2011 wedding. It was delivered to our venue all the way in San Diego without a problem. The cake looked amazing and the guests all came up to us after and talked about how great it tasted and wanted to know who the cake vendor was. Rachael is honest and enthusiastic.It was a pleasure to work with Rachael.Our wedding cake flavors were marble and almond (both of which were AMAZING). We lucked out having Sweet Traders as a vendor! Our wedding cake was the highlight of our wedding. All it took was one well-spent hour in a cake tasting with Rachael, and we didn't have to spend any more time worrying about or planning the cake. The variety of flavors for cake and filling is amazing, our favorites were banana pecan and coconut. Sweet Traders designed a four layer cake for us and decorated it with butterflies, flowers and ribbon to match our colors. We received so many compliments. In addition to supplying our cake Rachael also had professional connections with other vendors that were a huge help to us. We love Sweet Traders!!!

This was the favorite part of my wedding! My cake went above and way beyond my expectations! The cake came out even more beautiful than the picture I gave Rachael Louw (owner). The cake even tasted better than what we tasted in the tasting a few months prior. I ordered the red velvet with cream cheese filling.Rachael is extremely great to work with. She is honest, hard working and wonderfully priced. Sweet Traders is a small family owned business and I enjoy nothing more than to support small businesses.Do yourself a favor and forget all other bakeries and book with Sweet Traders! You wont regret it!

Rachael was a pleasure to work with, her cakes speak for themselves seeing her work is one thing there beautiful, but tasting it just blows your mind away. If you cant decide, trust me i was the same way set up your cake tasting and Sweet traders will definitely exceed your expectations as far as taste and Design.There strawberry cake and butter cream ROCKS!!! Wonderful service! The cake was delivered and decorated perfectly as promised, and Sweet Traders exceeded our expectations. The cake was beautiful! It was everything that we had envisioned, and it was delicious as well! We received many compliments from our guests on the cake. Thank you, Sweet Traders, for being part of our beautiful day!

In terms of cost this was one of the least expensive places we could find. Working on a small budget it was important to us to get good quality for a small price. We were surprised to find that Sweet Traders would make the white chocolate shells for us at virtually no cost most places were charging about a dollar per shell or more. The cake turned out amazing and it also tasted great. I now know a great place to get a cake for any occasion.

After meeting with Rachel at Sweet Traders and receiving a quote on the cake for our daughters Quinceanera, we were very pleased. The cake was affordable, not to mention, delicious compared to all the other cakes we tried from other bakeries. And last but not least....beautiful. Thank you Sweet Traders!!!! I will be buying all my birthday cakes from here and referring all my friends and family there.

I was impressed by the quality of design and taste of my pink wedding cake! Rachael made my dream come true and she was very helpful during the entire process.

I handed over the responsibility of the cake over to one of my very best friends. Its was such a relief to not have to handle every detail myself. Sweet Traders really made it easy.

Rachael and The Sweet Traders team are awesome!! They are extremely talented in what they do and to top it off they are very very friendly. I worked with them for my wedding cake and also for my anniversary cake. All their fillings and cake are very delicious. I was so confused to pick one so I picked several combininations for each layer ;)Rachael is very proffessional, talented, helpful, and friendly throughout the process!! Their prices are unbeatable. I went to several places and Sweet Traders is by far THE BEST. We had a great experience with Sweet Traders and will def be working with them in future!!

Rachel was an amazing help. Upon tasting the differents types of cakes and frostings I couldn't decide what I wanted because they were all so delicious. She was extremely helpful in providing tips on what flavors would blend well together and what wasn't such a good idea. I never felt that because I look and sound young my opinion didn't count. At the wedding it self she explained to my husband how to cut the cake and just made the whole process run really smoothly. There was never once a time that I felt stressed out about the cake. I knew that I had left it in capable hands. Having Rachel work with us was nothing but a pleasure and I would highly recommend her to any and all.

Really attentive to detail, easy to work with and aims to exceed expectations. We had a unique vision for our cake, one that Rachael had never done before, but we were able to communicate it to her and she was able to turn our vision into reality. The cake was moist and delicious - a real crowd pleaser!

Rachael and staff were absolutely amazing to work with. My cake came out better than anything I could have imagined and exactly what I wanted, all at the same time. Rachael made sure that it looked classy and beautiful, but with a little bit of fun flair.Sweet Traders pricing was much much more affordable than any other baker I spoke with and the cake and frosting tasted much better than any other I tried. Everybody loved the cake! Not only was it beautiful, but it was delicious! We had our cake delivered and everything ran very smoothly it arrived early and the girls set it up. The people at Sweet Traders are very professional and took care of everything we asked for. They also have some of the best prices in Orange County! I would recommend their service to anyone! You can't go wrong with Sweet Traders!!

Rachel and Morgan at Sweet Traders were so professional and helped me come up with such a unique design for my wedding cake. We received so many compliments, it was gorgeous. The cake was designed to look like my wedding dress and it was spot on.Sweet Traders made everything so easy and put me right at ease. Not to mention, their Red Velvet cake is simply the best.

Rachel was the best to work with. She was very timely in returning all my phone calls and the quality of the cake was exceptional. She even took a color swatch of the bridesmaid dress to match the bow on the cake to the exact color I wanted. The value cost wise was amazing. The cake looked and tasted like it was more expensive than it really was. I would recommend Sweet Traders to anyone.

Rachael and her crew made the most amazing baseball themed cake on the planet for our wedding. We asked her to be creative and she really went above and beyond. She made little baseball gloves and little bats with a faux wood grain. There was icing that looked like grass and the baseball stitching stripes all over. We even gave her a bunch of props that she positioned around the cake perfectly. Now for the taste of the cake: carrot, chocolate ganache, white cake with rasberry -- so good. I could probably go on for hours as to how happy we were but I think you get the jist of things. Absolutely recommend Sweet Traders - A +++ in my book.Thanks again. Jondibble@cox.net

Words can't express how wonderful our experience was with Sweet Traders and more specifically Rachael. I had very specific cake that I wanted to recreate and as we shopped around for vendors they all were ridiculously priced and none of them seemed handle my inquiries with as much care and professionalism as Sweet Traders. From day one Rachael was professional, friendly, and prompt. She made sure that everything was perfect from beginning to end and was even sweet enough to allow my grandmother to make payment installments. From the tasting to the coordination, to the final details of the cake, to the flavors, everything was beyond impressive. Anytime I had a question or a concern, Rachael responded right away and was always very friendly. The cake itself was beautiful, well made with quality ingredients, and delicious!!! It was a big hit at our wedding and Rachael went above and beyond to make sure that the cake looked perfect. It was so wonderful working with Sweet Traders. I have so many good things to say about Sweet Traders and owner Rachael Luow.She was wonderful from the moment I contacted her, until I returned my cake stand after our wedding. She is so personable. She responds promptly to your e-mails and phone calls and gives you the information you need. She was easy to set up appointments with. We came to see her twice. I came on my own once for a cake tasting and since my fiance' (now husband) couldn't come that day, she gave me enough cake and frosting samples to take home to him. -We ate little bites of cake all week!Quality of Cake- nothing less than Amazing! My husband and I are not cake people but we wanted good cake for our wedding guests to enjoy. We tried 5 different places. Most were more expensive than Sweet Traders- and not nearly as nice. But after we had had Rachael's cake we couldn't stop thinking about it. We chose chocolate cake with chocolate ganache filling for a couple layers and Red Velvet with Cream Cheese frosting for the other layer. We were not disappointed.The design of the cake was exactly what we had asked for. We had full confidence that our cake would be delivered beautifully and on time and it was.Peace of mind is worth every penny on your wedding day. And when you get amazing cake along with it- you can't beat that.If you are looking for a cake vendor- Sweet Traders is the place and Rachael's your girl!

When my friend asked me to handle the cake for her destination wedding in Dana Point, I had no idea where to start! I did a lot of research and phoned and emailed with a lot of bakers and Rachel and her staff from Sweet Traders were by far the best. Price, portfolio, professionalism and creativity - they have it all in spades. My friend loves her sweets and cake, so I knew deliciousness was super important to her and she couldn't stop talking about how good the cake was. We both thought the chocolate fondant was more beautiful than tasty, but over all the yummiest wedding cake either of us ever had. Rachel was quick to respond to my emails, and from the pictures I sent her and my description of what my friend wanted, she totally pulled it together even though neither of us ever stepped foot in her bakery. Would totally recommend Sweet Traders.

the cake looked great, it was exactly what we wanted. And we recieved compliments from the guests asking where we bought it. It looked beautiful and tasted yummy. They were very flexible with price versus others places. They were very accomodating and pleasant to work with.

Our cake was AWESOME, and we had several compliments from our guests regarding the taste. We wanted a Cake Baker who could do a whimsical (topsy turvey) cake, and Rachel was quick with ideas in sketch form, and the final product, the cake, was better than expected!! We loved her concept design, which we provided the basic theme information, and she put together a fabulous tasting, and fabulous cake.Once you get to know Rachel, you can be sure she'll work in overdrive to produce a cake befitting a King and Queen. At first my conversations with her were confusing, and was somewhat put off when she did not handle a scheduling situation correctly, which was to keep us at our time slot and not try to accommodate a couple who was running behind because of traffic and then got lost by inputting the wrong street name in the GPS. This really put me off, but in the end she came to her senses and made the Johnny/Johnna come lately wait!

I was referred to Sweet Traders by a friend who also got her wedding cake made by them. I wanted a modern cake and they did a wonderful job! Rachael is so sweet and personable. We tasted several flavors of cake and frosting (my fiance's favorite part of the planning process), and Rachael allowed us to select various combos for the wedding cake and additional sheet cakes. All of our guests commented on how good the cake(s) tasted! I called Rachael a couple of months before the wedding and asked if they could also make a groom's cake. I sent her a picture of what I wanted to surprise my fiance with (a little unconventional - combination of UCLA/LA Dodgers/LAKERS logos) and she was able to give me a great price and the cake was amazing. I think it was the hit of the wedding!I highly recommend Sweet Traders for your wedding cake needs!

Rachael was a very sweet girl to work with. She was very accommodating and let me come twice for cake tastings to make final decisions on what we wanted. I showed her pictures of a few cakes that I liked and she suggested combining two of the designs so that I could have the different heights in tiers of one cake (I had 3 tiers and the middle tier was taller than the outer ones) with a spoon effect for the outside of the cake. We bought our own cake toppers to go with it and it turned out beautifully. They even made desserts like cake balls and fruit tarts which were a huge hit at the wedding. My only regret was trying to have a variety, I wish we had gone with the lemon and raspberry flavored cake for the entire thing instead of having two flavors - not that the white cake with passionfruit cream wasn't good - I just loved the lemon cake. Easy to work with and friendly staff.

Sweettraders made the cake exactly as we had envisioned and better. I was not stressed out about the cake at all. They arrived on time and was wonderful and responsive from beginning to end.

Sweet Traders were wonderful! The cake was amazing and it looked better than I could have ever imagined. I gave them pictures to work off of and they recreated exactly what I wanted. In addition I had them make a surprise grooms cake for my husband (which we arranged over the phone) and Rachel did a wonderful job doing exactly what I requested. You can't beat the price and the customer service.

Unbelievable cake! Since I did a DW, they overnighted me samples of what I was interested for the flavors of my cake. We decided on almond cake, vanilla bavarian cream filling with vanilla buttercream frosting. As for the decor of the cake, I told them what I wanted and it was! I mailed them the colors I would like the ribbon to be on the cake. They were really great to work with, especially since I never actually saw them in person! Also, they put the flowers on the cake, which looked awesome!

Sweet Traders has an amazing price on their wedding cakes! I live all the way in Riverside and went with them because they were the cheapest ones with the best quality! I would highly recommend them. Their cake is super yummy and I would defiantly use them again for any of my future cake needs :)

What can we say about the cake - it was incredible beyond words! Our only complaint is that it seemed like a crime to cut into it! Once we did though we found it tasted as good as it looked. - WOW!
