Syed was an absoute delight to work with. We had a 3 day Indian wedding in midtown Manhattan and Syed was there from start to end. Arrived way before time to set up, and followed us around (and our families) to capture every single moment. His pictures speak volumes! they have turned out absolutely breathtaking. He has such a good eye for details. I couldn't have asked for a better Photographer or a more professional, courteous and friendly individual to capture our dream wedding. These pictures will last us a lifetime, and more. Thank you Syed!!

We could not have been more pleased with Syed of SYPhotography for our June 2010 wedding. We first met with Syed roughly a year before our wedding and knew right away that he was a perfect fit for us with his laid back and easy going personality coupled with his incredibly artistic eye and keen attention to detail. My husband and I had hoped for a photographer who could provide us with wedding photos that we would always be happy to look back at in the years to come and someone who could seamlessly blend in on the day of our wedding. Syed did all of this, and more. His photos are not just photos to us, they tell a beautiful story of our wedding day that we will cherish forever.

Photos are not forced with Syed, and his calm and relaxing demeanor made both my husband and I, as well as all of our guests and the wedding party feel at ease with him. He carefully captured joy, smiles, dancing, and a lot of laughter throughout the day.

As a bride, you hear over and over again how important your wedding photographer is, since after the day of your wedding, the photos are to be your lasting memories. With that in mind, I don't think we could have chosen a better fit than Syed to serve as our wedding photographer. We were lucky to have him.

Syed won't make you feel like he's producing another cookie-cutter album - he customizes everything just for you. And on the day of our wedding, he was like part of family. We look at our engagement album almost everyday and can't wait to see the wedding shots!

Syed was nothing less than warm and receptive to our needs and those of our guests. Of all the things that could have went wrong, we were so glad we had nothing to worry about when it came to Syed and his professionalism.

We have all had to take a couple of days just to absorb all the beautiful pictures!... Each picture just made you relive the night all over again ... The emotions that were captured, the candid shots... I can't put into words how well put together and perfectly nice they came out. Many have said, "The details were amazing".. "They are so beautiful".. "Wow, they came out so nice!!!". So everyone has wonderful raves for Syed..

My husband and I initially hired a different photographer that we were very unhappy with. At the same time, we discovered Syed from SY Photography and we quickly cut our losses and hired Syed instead. Since then I have been absolutely happy with our decision. Syed took gorgeous engagement photos of us which left us very eager to see what he would do for our wedding photos. Before the wedding day, he actually helped us create an amazing guest signature album with our engagement photos, which we displayed at the wedding reception. Many of the guests commented on how unique our signature guest book was. On our wedding day, Syed continued to amaze us. Not only did he take breathtaking photos of our wedding day, but he was also such a trooper as he dealt with my wedding day anxieties. Syed had our photos ready to view on-line by the time we arrived home from our honeymoon. We then quickly selected our photos for our thank you cards. I have to say that our thank you cards are by far the best I have ever seen. We now just need to select our photos for our album. I am sure that Syed will have our album to us in just a few short weeks. He has always been very prompt with all his deadlines and he has been in constant contact with us throughout the entire process. We have already told Syed that we plan on hiring him in the future for other special events so he can continue to help us document more special memories to come.

very easy to work with and had great ideas for shots taken at church and in central park - very knowlegeble with variouse lighting situations and overall familiar with his trade. obviously a great photographer to work with and his advise and skill really made our wedding seamless.

Syed was a fantastic photographer to work with. He was willing to work around our needs and got things done beautifully without torturing us, the wedding party or, our guests. He provided us with 12 hours of service, a customized album, 400 prints and an additional photographer just to capture the ceremony for close to nothing. What's more is he even made us beautiful customized thank you notes when we were behind 8 months after the wedding, the same day we asked!. Nonetheless, Syed was just as personable and professional as the day of my wedding. I recommended him to a friend and she was delighted to have him as her photographer. Syed is patient and extremely understanding, you just can't go wrong with him.

In all honesty, I absolutely love my wedding photos. Syed was able to capture some great moments that I unfortunately missed, but was able to see in my beautiful pictures. Syed was a wonderful photographer! I was impressed from the moment I met him...he was professional, down to earth and really personable. The wedding day was amazing! He did a terrific job with us in Central Park and on the Yacht. He was early for everything, very laid back, prepared for the day/night and great with our guests and with us! The pictures came out amazing...everyone told me how great our pictures looked! (I loved the proof album too!) He was professional from beginning to end. We highly recommend working with him! (His fees were very reasonable as well!!)

We could not be happier with the services provided by Syed Yaqeen and SYPhotography. We had heard many horror stories about pushy wedding photographers and poor service. Syed was diplomatic, tactful and highly professional throughout the process. He patiently answered all our questions, he was tactful at the wedding and reception, and afterward he responded to all our needs in terms of photographs, custom designed albums, disks and DVDs. You'll get all the standardphotos (wedding party, bride's family, groom's family, etc) but he also brings something extra to the work: a touch of class.
