Riki did an absolutely fabulous job on our makeup!!! All of my girls looked amazing and I couldn't be happier with the look she created for me as well. I don't usually wear a lot of makeup. Riki created a look for me that looked natural and I didn't need to touch it up all night. Through pictures, dancing, and more dancing the look stayed fresh. I would definitely HIGHLY recommend Riki for any special event!

Riki was SPECTACULAR ... and I don’t use that word lightly! I am a little hard to please, I like to be in control and never had my makeup done by anyone before. I definitely had my reservations about relying on someone else to do one of the most important things on a bride’s wedding day - her makeup. That was until I met Riki. She immediately made me feel comfortable with her professionalism and warm personality. She is a very talented makeup artist and came up with a look for me that far exceeded my expectations! Riki was amazing in every way. My wedding morning was totally hectic and she was very professional in EVERY way. She was scheduled to apply make-up for myself as well as 4 of my 6 bridesmaids. She not only did that with ease and perfection, she did the make-up on my flower girl (she was on cloud 9 cause she got her make-up done too! Riki - you made her day!!) and was able to "fix" the make-up of my remaining 2 bridesmaids, all while keeping me on schedule so I wasn't late to the ceremony. I have never felt more comfortable with a professional as I felt with her. She was truely my saving grace that morning. She was able to ease any fears and concerns I had and actually managed to make me laugh. The best part...after the ceremony my husband told me he has never seen me look more beautiful, and I have RIKI to thank for that.
If anyone is hesitant about spending money on make-up, you HAVE to do it. Trust me, it's worth it. I cried a ton that day and come 2am I still looked amazing.

Riki was absolutely amazing to work with! I already knew her work couldn't be surpassed since she was the makeup artist for a friends wedding. It was such a weight off my shoulders knowing she would be there the day of, I never once had to worry if it would turn out how I wanted. My makeup was flawless from 11am to 1am. My Bridesmaids were all very skeptical about having their makeup done, and they couldn't have been more thrilled with how it turned out. People actually came up to me during the reception to tell me how flawless and beautiful my makeup was. She was also great working with up to the wedding. I had a wonderful experience with Riki. I found her on my own actually; I was just searching for make up artists in the Syracuse area. I had Riki do a wedding makeup trial for me and I knew from that moment on that no one else could suit my needs for my special day. She pays very close attention to what you do and do not want. Riki was a lifesaver she was able fortunately to work with me last minute because the other person I scheduled told me a week before my wedding that she would be unable to make our appointment. I have used Riki in several weddings I have been a part of and have absolutely loved her work every time. My makeup is always FLAWLESS even after I am a sobbing mess! I love the time she takes on each client, creating a unique style that works best for them. My makeup even looks great the next day, eyelashes stay on, and even after sweating I feel like I look fresh which is SO important for pictures! I never felt over-done or that I didn't look like myself even when I went with a more dramatic look. She is professional, personable, and timely. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a fantastic makeup artist that will make your ideal look a reality! I think her prices are fairly standard for a GOOD makeup artist in Syracuse, perhaps a little high for brides on a strict budget. In my opinion you get what you pay for and the work she does is well worth the price.

I believe her work is the best in the area, based on recommendations and her portfolio. Hiring her may have been the best decision i made for our vendors, since having amazing makeup made me feel so much more excited for the events and photos. "Have makeup..will travel"... I'm old school. For weddings we put on our own makeup. My daughter-in-law wanted to have it professionally done, so I looked into it. Wow, wish this was available back in my day. After her trial I decided to have mine done too. From young to old Riki made us look spectacular. I was so glad to have chosen Riki to do my makeup for my wedding. During my trial I showed her some pictures that she considered, but then we discussed options she thought might work better with my complexion. Her recommendations were perfect! The day of my wedding Riki arrived bright and early to make-up myself, my sister, sister in law, and mom, but when my bridesmaids saw how fabulous we looked, she made time to give all the girls fake lashes which they loved! Riki made up my entire wedding party, mother, and mother-in-law. She arrived before 7:00 A.M. the day of my wedding (a Saturday), looking very put-together, in a great mood, and ready to go! She ran a very tight schedule, and everyone was made up in time for when the photographer arrived!
