We engaged Tad Craig Photography, not for wedding photos but for family photo session while on a very special trip to Hawaii from Canada.
We found Tad to be very personal and highly professional ensure the best possible photo was captured. He is very proud of his craft and it's obvious in the detail-orientation of his photo taking. He was able to quickly get to know our family and take photos that matched our personalities both individually and as a family. I would not hesitate in recommending Tad and his team.

My Husband and I just had our wedding shoot with Tad this past week and we cannot wait to see our final images!! I knew I wanted to have a personal and fun shoot which is where Tad came in perfectly. When I had an idea of a picture I wanted he listened and went for it! He made sure we were comfortable the whole time,encouraged us to interact naturally although he was always there to provide direction and guidance. Tad was wonderful to work with. We got married on a beach, and he explained the pros and cons of the beaches I was considering. He then suggested White Rock Beach (Palauea) based on what I told him we were looking for (lava rocks, greenery, palm trees). It was a perfect beach for our wedding and provided some beautiful backdrops! The day of the wedding was a mess thanks to my coordinator not booking the makeup artist. But, when Tad got there, he kept the replacement makeup artist on time. He was taking pictures from the moment that he arrived in my hotel room until the end of the night. From what I've heard, when he arrived at the beach, he's the one who 'directed' the guests on the beach and kept everything in order. I paid him for an extra half hour to come to the restaurant to get us cutting our cake. Well, the cake wasn't ready, and he stayed anyway until they got it finished. After the wedding, he had sneak peeks of pictures emailed to me within 5 days. Even with Christmastime and 12/12/12 weddings, he got the finished CD to us in less than a month! I can't say enough fabulous things about Tad!! The pictures are beautiful, he was wonderful, and his assistant, Marie-Claude is fabulous as well! I can't recommend Tad enough!!!

Tad was incredible. He was punctual, professional and organized. He was engaging to both us as well as our family and made our wedding a fun and romantic experience. It almost seemed as though we weren't being photographed by a hired photographer. It felt like an effortless process. Tad used a variety of techniques to capture our wedding ceremony and reception and he also gave us a sneak peak of our photos almost immediately after the photos were taken. Tad captured the romance of our wedding which we will be able cherish forever. We highly recommended Tad Craig Photography.

Tad did a wonderful job taking photographs for our 25th anniversary vow renewal!! He made the whole experience fun from beginning to end. He was easy to work with and had so many creative ideas for backgrounds, poses, etc. He took the most beautiful sunset pictures!! He sent preview pictures quickly after the photo shoot, then sent the DVDs with all the pictures shortly after that. The DVDs came beautifully wrapped in a leather case with one of our photos on the cover and on each DVD. It was like getting a fun gift in the mail! It's so nice to have both hi and lo resolution pictures to use in different situations. We could not be happier with the entire experience and would highly recommend Tad Craig Photography to anyone who wants beautiful pictures and a fun, relaxed experience.

Tad Craig did an outstanding job on our wedding pictures! I couldn't be happier with the way they all turned out. Planning my wedding all the way from Italy was very stressful. I reviewed several other photographer websites and thankfully came across Tad's. It was helpful to see my wedding location, the Olowalu Plantation house, in his portfolio. I reviewed his other work and that's what convinced me. Also, I saw that several of his clients returned to him for other events-very reassuring. For us, he was very professional and performed his work in a way that didn't interrupt the wedding festivities. He was also patient and kind with our non-English speaking guests. The finish product, our album, is how we say here in Italia, " perfetto"! I plan to use him again for our next Hawaiian vacation! Rest assured that by choosing Tad, your wedding memories will be in the best hands. My only negative is that I couldn't afford to keep him longer! I paid the hotel stay for all my guests. Cut your costs in other areas and spend more on your time with this photographer, it's worth it. Graziemille Tad!

Tad was absolutely wonderful!!! We had a destination wedding ih Hawaii and I was, of course, a little scared to be working with vendors I had never met face-to-face. Each time I contacted Tad, either by phone or e-mail, he was available and answered all my questions. The day of our wedding, Tad arrived early and was ready to rock by the time the ceremony started. He was so friendly and professional. This was again wonderful because I had only spoken to him on the phone. He seemed so eager and excited to photograph our wedding. He was friendly, funny and my entire family commented how great he was. We took photos for 2 hours and we had a great time!! The photographs are absolutely, unbelievably wonderful and beautiful!! We bought a package from the hotel and only met Craig at the wedding cerimony. I thought it was crazy not to plan every shot but we didn't have time. The photos turn out amazing! During the shooting he was friendly and extremely professional. Wedding planning is so stressful and I am glad we have made the right choice letting Craig direct us during the photos. Our family enjoyed the beautiful pictures and I ended up buying the entire CD!

Ok.....first off....when your getting your picture taken...it easier to smile when the person taking the pictures is attractive too.....Second....personality is important. We were fortunate to have Tad Craig capture our wedding in Maui on 04/15/2011. Tad was a professional from the start, was an absolute blast to work with and captured some amazing images on our special day. When we first started the search for a photographer, the number of options on Maui was a little overwhelming, but thank goodness we found Tad. His ability to frame shots perfectly, his use of high end equipment (camera, lenses and lighting) and variations in elevation and background made for an incredible final product. He's a must for your Maui photography needs.

Tad did a wonderful job capturing my daughter and son-in-law's Maui wedding. The lovely pictures I ordered were damaged in shipping but were promptly replaced by Tad. Marie-Claude, Tad's office manager, did a fantastic job keeping me updated as to the status of the replacement pictures. Tad and staff not only take care of their clients during the event but also afterwards. It truly has been a pleasure conducting business with such nice people. Their professionalism and customer service is to be commended.

We felt so LUCKY to have Tad capture our wedding memories. We knew we liked him as soon as we met him (which was the day of the wedding!) He is so calm and positive! I feel like the energy that he brought with him helped make the photos so spectacular! I felt like in the time that he met us (which was only a few minutes) he could see our personalities and our pictures truly depict that. I was very happy with him the day of the wedding but when I saw the pictures I couldn't believe how PERFECT they were. I think I’ve looked at his blog 100 times just to see the pictures. Planning a destination wedding is very stressful because you don't know your vendors. We felt like we won the lottery because we were able to get Tad as our photographer. Tad was so great my husband said he wished he could come take some photos of our ranch in Texas :-)

I really liked Tad's style. I was a little disappointed that he was late on our wedding day. Something about traffic, but this is the reason that he only gets 4 stars. He did make up for this, though. My coordinator told him that the only way to make this right was to makeup the time lost by covering part of our reception. It was a classy move and kept me feeling like he was working in our best interests. The pictures were beautiful, and in hindsight I wish I would have hired him for more coverage time.

We first heard about Tad Craig from a family member, then I asked our wedding coordinator (Jackie Tamas) and she highly recommended him as well. His pictures were posted on the Internet about four days after our wedding so that was nice to surprise to see them when we returned from our honeymoon.
The pictures turned out amazing. There were so many to choose from. He is currently putting together our wedding album in a magazine form. We recently saw the rough draft and it really took my breath away!
Tad Craig went above and beyond our expectation of our wedding photographer.

Tad first worked with me and my husband 6 years ago when he shot our wedding! Then once again he worked with us 3 years ago when we had our first son.
In 2010 we were once again back in Maui on another trip with another son!

There are few words I can think of to describe our experience with Tad on our wedding day. He made my wife and I feel like the center of the universe and gave us his absolute undivided attention.
