Taek Photography

Taek is such a profession and friendly photographer. He had a lot of experience in photography. He responses e-mail fairly quick. After inquiry, he was not available on my wedding day. But he suggested his senior assistance photographer to us.He is very accomadating, He then offer to help in shooting in the morning on our wedding day for free.(He then needs to go to his main wedding) And with the less price I paid for the package of his assistance. He also offer to do the E-session and the editing of our album. We went to his studio twice. He is always friendly and welcome. He never gave us asny pressure in the decision making. We end up didn't hire his assistance. (Because we still prefer him as our photographer) But I will difinately consider him as the photographer for our family session or other event in the future!

Taek is an incredible photographer! Definitely worth every penny. He did our engagement photos as well as wedding day photos. Taek and his team are easy to work with and I can't say enough how happy we are with the results of their hard work. We received both our engagement and wedding photos very soon after each event. Taek's photography blows me away and I am SO happy we went with him. His work belongs in magazines!

Taek and Jeff were so awesome! I recently got married less than a month ago and I already received my pictures and they are so beautiful! They were such a pleasure to work with. David and I love Taek.What more can we say?Taek is just artsy enough to satisfy anyone's sense of style. We were clear that we did not want the standard wedding photos taken in the standard 5 locations in LA. All of Taek's photos looked like scenes out of a foreign film. Not too intrusive and not too apathetic.BIG PLUS: He had enough presence to control my big Asian family and enough grace to hardly be noticed throughout the day!We were originally going to skip our e-session, but on Taek's recommendation that we needed to be comfortable with the camera before the wedding day, we went ahead with it. AN ENTIRE DAY of going from location to location, outfit after outfit. If I could, I would print one of each of the pictures from that e-session and put them up all over the house. OVER 1,000 proofs were given to us to review!!! He's goes WAY above and beyond what you pay him for. Worth every last penny.

We booked Taek after we saw pictures from a friend's wedding. We both used him for our engagement session and wedding pictures. Our engagement pictures came out great, and we ordered the "Love Story" session, which came with a beautiful collage. It was displayed at our welcome table, and everyone loved it. We are still awaiting our wedding pictures, but all I know is that our wedding party and guests loved him. He really got everyone to smile and laugh. Great guy to work with.

Taek was my wedding photographer back in June 2008. I researched a ton of photographers and couldn't justify the high price to spend on photography, yet at the end I decided to go with Taek, and I'm glad I did. Although he had an unfortunate personal event the day before my wedding, he showed up on time and was very professional and thorough. For our engagement session, we opted for the short session and he ended up spending at least 4 hrs with us taking us to 3 different sites. What I love about him is that he's very artistic and is very good at framing people. He's also great at candid shots. Definitely my best vendor at my wedding.

I'm so happy that another photographer got booked up...otherwise, I never would have discovered Taek. He was beyond accommodating and easy to work with. My husband and I purchased the full package deal. We wanted him for both our engagement and wedding photos. We spent about 8 hours riding around Downtown LA taking photos. My hubby and I wanted an urban-style shoot. As for wedding day photos, I couldn't have been more pleased. First, I was so pleased with our beautiful collage that Taek made us. When I received the proofs from the wedding, I teared up because he caught so many key details that I forgot to mention during the madness of that day. Taek made sure to take a photo of my bouquet locket that pictured my late father. We also received our album recently. It looks fantastic! High quality and the way the photos fit into each page was perfect. So I definitely recommend Taek!

We are very picky about photos because we are in the film industry and we think Taek did an amazing job. We saw the "selects" he made and they were amazing and then when we dug through the 2800 other photos, we were surprised to find that they were all amazing as well. Can't recommend him enough. If you want your photos to look high end and not cheesy, Taek is your guy.

The photos from our casual & formal engagement sessions & our wedding came out so well and better than we could have ever expected. My husband & I are both rather awkward in front of the camera, but Taek made us very comfortable and coached us throughout the shoot. Aside from his work, our families particularly appreciated his friendly demeanor. What was particularly helpful for us was his familiarity with our 1st generation Korean families' expectations & balancing that with our own expectations.

Taek is a great photographer. He made both of us feel comfortable during both engagement sessions and wedding. He has a gentle personality and is very approachable which is good because he has to capture the best in a lot of people. He is flexible on pricing and locations of photo shoots. So far the engagement photos turned out beautiful. We are still waiting on the wedding photos but pretty sure they will come out great!

Taek's background is commercial photography, so he knows how to place you in your surroundings. His engagment session is something unique as well - it's an all day shoot in a location that fits the couple's personality. He took us to Joshua Tree for sunrise photos and El Mirage Lake Bed for the sunset shots. They came out beautifully and we've gotten so many compliments on the photos. We received a approx. 30" x 40" photo collage which he brought to the wedding. It was fantastic! The day of the wedding, Taek and his assistant were never far behind. During the reception, if I was talking to my guests, not 2 seconds later I would see that he was capturing these candid moments, which I loved. I haven't seen the final images yet, but if the engagement session is any indication, then I have nothing to worry about.
