I had a boudoir photo session with TAIT photography. Although a little nervous going into the experience, as soon as I met Erica, the photographer, I was immediately put at ease. She is very professional and amazing at what she does. My photos are amazing. I cannot wait to give this gift to my fiance!

My experience dealing with TAIT Photography was wonderful. I'm getting married and wanted to give my fiancé a special wedding gift. I heard about TAIT through a friend of mine who had a Boudoir session done in the past, and loved the final product. I had boudoir photos done with Erica Tait. Erica is such a professional. She knows the perfect poses to make you look your best and is constantly looking out for your best interests whether she's fixing your necklace or pulling your hair forward at all the right times. She guides you 100% and completely puts you at ease. You do not have to be a lingerie model to do this by any means. I couldn't be happier with the final product and quality of my photos. Also, my boyfriends jaw dropping response when he saw the photos speaks volumes. Boudoir would make the perfect gift for your future husband, trust me he'd love it! So if your like me it's something you've been considering doing for a long while but your worried about how your body will look in the photos. Number one tip is bring lingerie your truly comfortable in, and stick with solids with a pop of color. The hotel has an amazing wallpaper and if you wear a pattern it would take away from the back drop. My biggest advice, don't let your self image hold you back. Your significant other thinks you are the most beautiful girl in the world and with your hair/makeup done and Erica's eye for film and enhancing a woman's body through photography, your significant other will see you in a light like never before.

Very well put together, easy to navigate, and really, who could resist such beautiful, wonderful, awesome photos!From the start, with hair and makeup, and all the way through to the end, it was very relaxing, comfortable, and just so awesome. Erica did my boudoir photos and she was amazing!! I was so incredibly nervous for a week prior to the photo shoot, but that all went away within three minutes of being in the hotel room. I had such a wonderful time at the studio getting my photos done. It's obviously a nerve racking thing to do, but I felt comfortable within minutes of arriving. Erica guided me through the process, since I had not clue what I was doing! It was fun and the pictures turned out amazingly!

My experience with TAIT Photography was nothing short of amazing. I saw TAIT after our wedding for a Boudoir shoot. I can only say that I wish we'd hired her for our wedding pictures instead of the two separate photographers we went with. Our thinking was we'd have one photographer with the guys all day, one with the girls, and both for the ceremony and reception. Great in theory but they weren't Erica Tait. Do yourself a favor and learn from my mistake. I have more beautiful photos from an hour shoot with TAIT photography than I have from my entire wedding day. If you're trying to shop around and save on photography, reconsider. Your memories are worth it. I simply can't wait until my next session with her. I'm already planning a Christmas gift for my husband!

I chose TAIT photography because out of all the websites I browsed, Erica seemed like the most professional and genuine photographer. All the interviews and testimonials said wonderful things about her and her work, her website was easy to explore and her pictures are just AMAZING! After obsessively reading the "Boudoir Blog" on her website I found comfort in the words of the women who had gone before me.The overall experience was fantastic! So much better than I anticipated. Erica was so friendly and professional - not at all intimidating. She just told me what position to get into and gave me gentle guidance. My favorite line during my session, "if the position feels awkward, then it will be a great picture"I have always been! very critical of my appearance, but even with my overly critical eye there were so many beautiful pictures. There are so many I love it is hard to pick a favorite.

I had done an online search and checked out the work of some other photographers working in the DC area, but none of them came close to the quality of Tait Boudoir's images. Tait's portfolio was full of really rich, artistic images, with great composition and depth. I didn't need to look any further.I really enjoyed my photo session. Aside from feeling glamorous after having my hair and makeup done, Erica was really great at directing me, and helped me into lots of great, flattering poses that I never would have thought! of on m y own. I would do it again in a heartbeat.I absolutely love the results of my photo shoot.

Many women do a boudoir photo session for a significant other, which is a great thing (I mean, what man wouldn't want this type of surprise??). It is a great wedding gift for your future spouse, but just as importantly, women should do this for themselves, whether it is to boost self-esteem and confidence (which it will), to accomplish something that most women would never step outside their comfort zone to do, or just to celebrate! In addition to celebrating engagement and an upcoming marriage, this would be a great reward for reaching goals, whether it's losing or gaining weight, making it through hard times, graduating, having a baby (and getting your body back afterwards), or whatever other life challenges are overcome. This type of experience will have a personal and unique meaning to each woman. I would highly recommend it!

I had a boudoir shoot with TAIT photography a few weeks ago and just got my pictures back...beautiful! I have been married for almost five years, so I did not get these done prior to my wedding, but if I had known about TAIT back when I was engaged, I would have done it in a heartbeat! The website is very professional. The porfolio is displayed beautifully. I love the fact that not all the women's photos on the website are all super thin. In addition, I love how the FAQ are spelled out in detail. I was extremely comfortable knowing exactly what to expect. The photo shoot was exciting and fun. It was nice to get all dolled by a professional make-up artist. I enjoyed that time with the make-up artist before the session. She did a fabulous job, and it helped calm my nerves to talk about the shoot. It's a great experience. You don't need a boyfriend or husband to have a boudoir session. Erica is a wonderful photographer - and it's not just the pictures, it's also her demeanor and the ease she puts her clients in during the session. Amber, TAIT Photography's Client Assistant is also really wonderful. She answered all of my questions, helped me and was patient in a difficult situation, and was all around gracious and helpful. The two of them make a terrific team. I decided to use TAIT Photography for a couple of reasons. The reviews from other clients helped me to decide to choose TAIT photography. The other major deciding factor was the questions and answers section of the website. The information provided made me more aware of what was going to happen which made me feel comfortable. Also, the marathon sessions were reasonably priced and the location was ideal. The session itself was better than I could have ever guessed it would be! I didn't have time to think about what I was wearing or how I looked, because of the directions Erica was giving me. Once the session started, I could tell that Erica knew what poses would make me look the best and the trust that inspired helped me to let go and enjoy the experience. I didn't panic at all! It was a lot of fun. Everytime I see the pictures, I experience a little shock - is that me? And Erica took so many! Most of the proofs look really good and they're not even retouched yet! I initially had over 70 images as favorites and then had to go back and pare them down more, which was extremely difficult. I had boudoir photos taken and it was a unique and fun experience. Everyone has someone in their lives who would enjoy these images, even if it's themselves. I know I wouldn't mind keeping a couple of the pictures for myself to remind me that I'm sexy and beautiful, even when I don't feel it! It's something every woman should do at least once, I think. I really enjoyed my boudouir photo shoot with Erika. I am glad that I did it and regret not having done it sooner. I am a conservative person, but I loved my pictures so much that I shared them with friends and family. I love the way they look!I think this would be an excellent batchelorette party idea - spending the day getting your hair and make up done, doing photos for the spouses or for one's self and then going out on the town. Erika is talented - if you get a chance, check out her before and after shots - she has an excellent ability at capturing everyone in their best light. I would say this is not only a great gift for a husband but it made a great gift for me too! I was pampered and made to feel like a doll... Then Erica made me feel totally at ease even though I was COMPLETELY naked. I thought I would be freaked out but I was so confident in Erica's ability that I barely felt nervous. I found TAIT Photography on groupon. After reviewing the website and seeing how very creative, artistic and classic the photos looked I immediately bought the groupon and booked my photo session. I booked a boudoir session as a gift to myself for turning 40 and as a gift for my boyfriend. Tait Boudoir provided gorgeous boudoir photos that my husband loves. Erica was extremely professional. She helped me select the outfits and directed the whole shoot. She made me feel very comfortable. The photos were amazing--I felt like I looked like a Victoria Secret model. This is great for wedding, Valentine's Day, anniversary. It is a little expensive, but the photos are great quality.

She also wasn't over the top with fake compliments, but when she did get some good shots she said, "yeah that looks really pretty", so I was able to get a sense of what poses and expressions wer working. My hair and makeup person was amazing! She put me at ease and just chatted with me and pumped me up the whole way through. She also made sure that what I had envisioned became the finished product. I am fairly conservative with my hair and makeup so I wanted to look natural.

Erica treated me with the utmost respect and I felt very comfortable with her. I thought the proofs looked good, when I saw the finished photos I was so stunned. She is an awesome photographer. She has an ability to capture beauty in her photos that you would not even consider. I love her work and intend to use her services again. I have already put the word out.

Why a session? A friend told me she was looking into doing Boudoir Photos as a gift for her fiance, and I thought it would be a great idea to do as a gift for my husband since our 5th wedding anniversary is coming up. Why did you choose Tait photography? A few reasons: 1) the images that Erica creates are absolute works of art! They transform regular people like me into boudoir beauties! A touch of romance, playfulness, and yet modesty, and just enough blurring of the background to hide my not-so-great features! Other boudoir photographers I've looked at pale in comparison to Erica. 2) the website design was classy, elegant, easy to navigate, and professional 3)the entire package was available, the "full meal deal" of hair, makeup, layout, it was perfect. How did you prepare? By spending a lot of money! Yes, unfortunately, I did. A bought a lot of lingerie. You can definitely find very affordable pieces, but I splurged. Also, I got my nails done, a pedicure, bikini wax, etc just so I could feel extra beautiful. Who are they for? My husband. Reaction? I think my husband will want to know where all this lingerie has been hiding! And then he might want me to give him his own personal boudoir session! haha How was the experience? It was really good. I'm very glad to have had Erica do the photos because she is very professional, but very easy going. I couldn't stop laughing because I was nervous, but she still managed to get so many amazing shots! She made me feel very secure that the images wouldn't end up on-line if I didn't want them to, and made me feel very comfortable. How do you feel? I love them! they transform me! I don't know if I have a favorite yet though as I just recently got them. Why should others do boudoir? I can't really speculate on why other women should do a boudoir session. I have a very loving husband who is my absolute everything in life, my knight in shining armor, and I wanted to do something very special and romantic for him, and only him.

make sure you speak up if you have some specific poses you want, I got lots of different ones but i forgot to ask about the birdcage veil and I really wanted Images with one because I'm obsessed with them! other than that Erica hit it right on the money!

It was more comfortable then I thought. Erica makes you feel completely comfortable and she gave me so much direction. She makes sure to take her time with you and gets the best shoots. Pictures come out classic.

I thought that Erica was extremely friendly and put you at ease for your boudoir pictures. However I would have liked to have seen the price of the albums before I had booked as I find them very expensive and unfortunately I am now in a bind as to what I will be able to afford.
