Talamore Country Club

Talamore was an amazing place to have a wedding. Mark, our coordinator, was so patient and helpful. Planning a wedding is stressful, but I had nothing to worry about. During the wedding Amanda was our attendant, and she made sure we ate and had anything we wanted. They even packed up everything for us! The food was delicious and people kept telling us how wonderful the location was. We cannot recommend Talamore enough.

Mark McCool and his amazing team created a perfect setting for our wedding. The food was outstanding - our guests could not stop raving about the filet and the sea bass. Everything was beautiful. Our requests were all honored - ie. the signature drink :) Dragonberry rum and simply lemonade. We are so pleased with our decision to have our reception at the Talamore!

Choosing Talamore as our ceremony and reception site was a perfect choice. Mark McCool was our Coordinator and he exceeded our expectations throughout our entire engagement/planning as well as on our wedding day. The very first visit we had at Talamore, Mark was coordinating four weddings that weekend, and he spent about an hour and a half with us and answered all questions and made sure we had everything we needed before leaving. Not once did he make us feel rushed even though he probably had countless things to get done that day. The country club is beautiful, both inside and out, and has so many great spots for pictures. I am a very detail-oriented person, and not one detail was left undone the day of our wedding. The service throughout the entire day was flawless as well, and the food was fantastic! All of our guests had rave reviews with everything about Talamore. I recommend Talamore, and Mark McCool, to everyone wanting a beautiful, worry-free wedding day!

Talamore went above and beyond my expectations! Mark McCool was professional, courteous and accomodating. This venue is absolutely stunning in September. I highly recommend Talamore to anyone who is getting married! I simply can not say enough wonderful things about them.

Everything at Talamore was terrific! We worked with Mark. He was very accommodating and absolutely wonderful to work with. Anything we needed, he took care of it! I worked with Mark McCool the year of our engagement and also on the wedding day. Everything came out PERFECTLY. Not one flaw was noted the entire day. I loved everything about Talamore! They even let me come hours early to take pictures and do a first reveal. Everyone raved it was the best wedding they had ever attended!

Perfect venue all around! Beautiful grounds, complete with a bridge with a lake that is home to a family of swans! Inside, the venue is just as gorgeous! Cocktail rooms completely in glass windows overlooking the beautiful golf course and gazebo, a Monet waterfall spanning the entire two stories of the reception room, and the ability to show your slide show on 4 giant screens for all of your guests to enjoy! Our wedding was everything I could hope for (even though it was during a hurricane!) We ended up having our ceremony indoors due to the weather but the room was BEAUTIFUL! The entire staff was amazing. I worked with Mark McCool from the beginning and he was soooo helpful and accommodating. He really helped me put together a beautiful wedding to remember forever! Thank you so much!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Talamore, it is absolutely beautiful and unique, it does not look like the standard site....we worked with Mark from start to finish and he was great....responsive, accomadating and professional, our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to, our photos are gorgeous with all the beautfiful backdrops at Talamore, inside and out...there are so many different ways to make the place yours, food was excellent, service was amazing, my husband and I were catered to unbelieveably on wedding day, never an empty glass :) i hope i get to go back for someone else's wedding someday!

We received numerous compliments on how beautiful the wedding was! The staircase in the ball room adds a dramatic look to pictures, the garden view is phenomenal! Definitely a beautiful venue.

The first thing that caught our eye at Talamore was the venue and options for an indoor/outdoor wedding. We loved everything about the place and working with Mark McCool made it so much easier. He walked us through every step and always answered our many questions up until the moment of our wedding. We had our ceremony and reception there and it was more than we could've imagined. The staff was more than amazing...very professional. We even had 2 girls who were by my side and my husband's and they would help us with anything we needed. Everyone complimented the food and said it was delicious and great portion sizes. The reception room was spectacular. The lighting and layout of the room makes for a great party room. The music booms everywhere and no one has a bad view. The dance floor is huge and plenty of room for all! We would do it all over again! Also, we got many recommendations from Mark regarding other services such as music and our pastor. Thanks Mark for making our wedding day a great one!

From when we arrived at the venue to the ceremony run through all of the way to the reception, everything was perfect! We have received so many comments about the wedding--mostly related to Talamore. From the beautiful venue and the amazing food to the attentive staff and the good drinks, everyone was so impressed. Our wedding day was amazing and it wouldn't have been what it was without Jennifer and the entire staff at Talamore.

This country club was the perfect setting for a wedding reception. They handled everything exactly like I wanted them to. I didn't have to think about a thing and the whole evening was perfect!

Loved everything about the venue. Very professional. We had our ceremony and reception here and thought both turned out beautifully. Scenery was amazing. The ceremony was on the patio overlooking the lake and fountain. The flowers were in bloom and it was amazing. Our cocktail hour was awesome too. The food was to die for. Everyone loved the array of foods and the ice luge with our monogram on the side was a great touch. Talamore also provided a flatscreen TV so we could play a video montage of our lives and our relationship together. All of the guests just loved it. One of my favorite things was the water wall. Talamore has an entire wall the sits behind the staircase which is like a waterfall. So beautiful. Loved being announced with that in the background. The food was amazing. We were complimented by all guests telling us we had the best wedding food they have ever tasted. And the dessert table and chocolate fountain was to die for. I couldn't have asked for anything else. They covered every detail. Even the bar was great. Everything we could have asked for was there. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED!!!

Talamore was the most perfect, beautiful place to have our ceremony and reception. Everyone there is so helpful and knows what they are doing. I could not have been happier. The guests all loved it as well.

Everything I could have asked for and more! The service was spectacular and the venue is beautiful. Ask for Jennifer- she was absolutely amazing and so accomodating.

First, let me start this review by saying that their ballroom, garden room, and outdoor ceremony areas are GORGEOUS. You really cannot ask for a better setting for a wedding.Our wedding coordinator was Mark. He worked with us the entire time, from the initial sales process, to coordinating all details of the wedding, and even supervising the event. Mark was very attentive, and worked very hard to make us happy. He swapped things in and out of our package so that we got exactly what we wanted, no more, no less.Our Maitre D was David. We did not work as closely with David as we did with Mark, but he did a nice job. Early on, there were mixed weather reports, and he allowed to change our mind multiple times for indoor vs outdoor, which was incredibly accomodating. There was a mixup with our dinner order, which delayed the dinner process about an hour, but the David stepped up, accepted blame, and did everything necessary to remedy the situation, even agreeing to extend our party as a result. Most people were none the wiser, everyone got the food that they ordered, and enjoyed an extra hour of partying!The food was excellent. Our entree choices were filet mignon and sea bass. Both were outstanding, as were the salads and dessert table.My bride and I had two young ladies attending to our every need leading up to and during the affair. It was a while ago, so I apologize if I get their names wrong, but I believe it was Amanda and Katie. They were with us every step of the way, bringing drinks to the bridal party during pictures and down time, and hors dourves to my bride and I while we took more pictures during cocktail hour. They were truly awesome.Overall, we had a teriffic experience at the Talamore and would recommend it to anyone considering it as a venue!

Talamore exceeded all our expectations when it came to a venue for our reception. The venue was gorgeous inside and out, and the staff there were wonderful in helping us plan the day exactly how we wanted it. Our guests loved the layout of the ballroom with its two floors and balcony on the second floor. The food was amazing - from the appetizers to the salad to the main course. We got so many compliments on the top shelf bar selections and the friendliness of everyone who worked there. The outside area by the bridge and the front courtyard were absolutely perfect for pictures with our photographer. I'd recommend this venue to anyone!

I had both my ceremony and reception at the Talamore! It was a beautiful place for both and the staff is incredibly helpful and attentive! I couldn't have asked for a better coordinater than Mark!

I had my wedding reception at Talamore in December and everything was fabulous! Couldnt have asked for more! Such a beautiful evening and the staff was very accomodating!

My husband and I went to see the Talamore in the dead of winter and I fell in love with how beautiful it was! The venue was amazing, the ceremony site was amazing and the food was to die for! We loved being able to make our first entrance as husband and wife by coming down the amazing stairs with the waterfall backdrop! Our guests loved the big dance floor and guests seated upstairs enjoyed the birds eye view from the mezzanine. Mark was incredibly helpful - when he was around. He was a little difficult to get a hold of and was on vacation the week before our wedding (just a coincidence) but the woman who filled in for him did not make our rehearsal a pleasant experience. She was completely clueless and argumentative and I'm sorry to say I left my rehearsal quite frustrated with her. Despite that, the wedding itself was almost flawless (a minor hiccup with a video my Dad wanted to play via "Talavision") but overall we had an amazing experience!

If you want your guests to be impressed and your pictures to be beautiful, Talamore is a the best choice. The food was good and they were flexible in allowing me to come in the day before to set up centerpieces. One table was missing a place setting - not sure if it was my error or theirs - but it was resolved soon enough. Spend the extra money for cocktail hour in the patio room - it is beautiful!

WE LOVED TALAMORE...there are a lot of "rules" but everyone works really hard to make the day special and memorable...and everything runs very smoothly!
