BEAUTIFUL satin chair covers and candy bar assembly at our August wedding!!! It was all assembled before I arrived and taken down the next day...with out any help from us! Kristin even supplied us with 30 chairs for the family for our outdoor ceremony which was not something she normally does!!! LOVED the pride and talent that went into her work!
Her decorations looked great. She offered a lot of choices. It was a little stressful trying to contact her. It usually took about 5-7 days for her to return phone messages/e-mails. Also, it took her several weeks to send the deposit back because she thought she had already done it.

I just am very surprised at the ratings from client. The 40% discount that she recieved on accessories, a retail $576.94 invitation order that she recieved for $333.24,a full cake table, head table,and gift table decor, dance floor ceiling with tulle and a candle chandalier, 25 feet of railing, a 20 foot lit fabric backdrop behind her head table and a 5 foot lit fabric backdrop behind the cake table, plus an additional glass riser for her cake to sit on that she didn't ask for but I included, all for $400.00 is a great value for cost in anyone's book. Oh, I forgot to mention chair covers installed with sash for $3.50 each. Not to mention traveling 140 miles with no charge. I have reviewed all e-mail coorespondence and interestingly what I have record of is actually client not responding to me, including a concern of mine with no response from her after two weeks and two e-mails from me and finally a third regarding getting her invitations on order. All other responses from me via e-mail were within one to two days. Phone calls may have been longer, but I don't have any record of those, and clients are told from the beginning always that the best way to contact me is via e-mail. Phone calls are also frequently returned via e-mail as it is too late to return phone calls when I get home at night after appointments. The deposit was sent back 6 weeks after the event, which was my fault entirely. A bookeeping error that fell through the cracks during my change over of banking institutions.Again, surprise on my part. I don't know how I could have been any more flexible, as I certainly cannot recall anything that she requested that wasn't agreed to. The quality of my service and items that I provide has never been anything but excellent, and I'm saddened by someone implying anything else.
Exceptional decorating! Kristin is so easy to work with and listens to what you want. She's decorated many churches and reception halls in the Kalamazoo area. My candelabras were amazing, I still have seen nothing like them. They were gorgeous. The lighting around the table skirts and the back drops were beautiful. When nighttime came the reception hall just glittered of candles and lights. I had a great value for all that she provided, which was alot. I also highly recommend her chair covers!
The decorations that Kristin pulled together set the scene our daughter had always wanted.
From back drops, chair covers and a wonderful ballooning effect on the ceiling to enhance the romantic mood. Kristin added unique table covers to the cocktail tables that tied the room together and added her touches that set the ball room aglow. There were no disappointments with her service, she was timely on delivery and setting everything up and taking care of her items the next day. She added her special touches that went beyond what we had expected. The bride and her family felt we had a GREAT value and wonderful experience dealing with Kristin.
Kristin save us! We had one reception hall booked and it feel through so we had to settle for another hall that was dated looking and did not have the elegant look we wanted. I was really upset at the look of the hall and how dark it was. So, Kristin can in and went above and beyond what we were expecting with lights, candles and table decorations! I am one for candles and romantic lighting and Kristin came through for us plus other decorations we were not expecting but LOVED! Thank you do much Kristin!
I loved the decorations that Kristin did. It was easy to call and set up what we wanted. We did quite a bit of the decorating ourselves but I had her do the head table with the lit backdrop. It was absolutely gorgeous and such a load off to not have to worry about that part of things. The price was good for what we had done and well worth the lower stress. I was very pleased with everything.

That is the request I get most frequently from my clients when they are describing the look that they want for their wedding. And it's my goal is to achieve whatever look my clients envision for their wedding, and then make sure that look flows from one element to the next, smoothly, with the details delighting the eye all the way. Don't make the mistake that many have done before you, and think that it will be "fun" and less expensive to do the decorating yourself.
Some wedding day advice I give everyone:
Make sure that everyone eats....especially the girls. The number one reason for your bridal party to get weak in the knees and having those knees buckle is low blood sugar. Make sure that you have a basket of snack bars, fruit, and juices so that everyone has something in their system prior to the processional.
Give your male members of the bridal party real cloth handkerchiefs, either as a gift prior to the wedding, or the day of, and make sure that they have them in their pockets. Men have a tendency to perspire a lot dressed up in a tuxedo (especially on a hot summer day), and a paper tissue doesn't work very well for "mopping the brow".
Also for the male members of your bridal party....make sure that they have black socks, or whatever color is appropriate for their attire. Especially during the summer, I've seen more than one groomsman show up, tux in one hand, rented tux shoes in the other, ressed in t-shirt, sandals and shorts. OOPS! didn't think about socks.
