Terry was amazing - Very nice guy and very skilled guitarist. My husband and I really wanted some contemporary music to fit into our traditional church-style ceremony and Terry was able to do that with the classical guitar. While we chose mostly songs from his repertoire, we did have a few special requests, which he was still able to learn and play flawlessly and effortlessly. Out of our 160 guests, I'm pretty sure that not one didn't mention how much they enjoyed the music that day. Terry Muska is a true gentleman and musician and we highly recommend him.

My fiancé and I both felt that music for our ceremony was a top priority. We wanted something classic and something that blended well with the feel of the open-air chapel where our ceremony would be held. We love Pachelbels Canon in D and knew that we wanted that song to be played as I walked down the aisle. I stumbled on Terry Muskas website while searching for ceremony musicians online and fell in love with his classical guitar version of Canon in D. He is so, so talented. I called to get a quote for him to play during our ceremony, and he said he would play the pre-service (twenty minutes before the ceremony as our guests arrived), the actual ceremony, and the postlude for $350. I booked him immediately! Terry was very organized. He sent us a Music Planner to map out the music for the ceremony, where he should set up, and what he should wear. We got exactly what we wanted. The music before, during and after the ceremony was perfect. He was so easy-going and kind. Everyone thought his music was the perfect complement to our ceremony.
Terry is a fine musician with an engaging personality. His manner makes everyone feel comfortable around him. He is most distinguished but not stuffy. He knows his music from classics to Beatles. From the all the musicians in town - I had him perform at my wedding.
Terry is very talented and professional. He is reliable, punctual and above all a gifted musician!! His website has actual music you can listen to which is helpful for couples to pick out the songs they want. His music creates the elegant and romantic atmsophere of our intimate Bed and Breakfast garden weddings. Many of the guests have commented on how much they enjoyed his music before, during and even after the ceremony. I can't recommend him highly enough!! Marietta McCall/Owner of Acorn Bed and Breakfast
Terry played his guitar at a wedding for which we were hired to sing. His playing added a touch of calmness and beauty to the ceremony, and he was very easy to work alongside. His kind personality coupled with the fact that he is a professional guitarist makes him a wonderful addition to any wedding or special event!

FAQ for Terry Muska, Classical Guitarist
A. Absolutely.
Q. Do you amplify your guitar for the wedding?
A. I use an amplifier when, and if it is needed for the ceremony. Always for outdoors, and always for receptions. Only in intimate settings with excellent acoustics, when the wedding is relatively small, I'll use the guitar alone, without amplification.
Q. What equipment will you need? Do you need to be near an electrical outlet?
A. The equipment I use is all self-contained and high quality. Although it is generally better to be near an electric outlet, I also have a system which runs on batteries. This allows great flexiblity for playing in any location, however remote.
Q. We may decide to have a piece of "Special Music" (not listed on your website) in a certain part of our wedding ceremony. Are you willing to do this?
A. Yes. Besides the pieces listed on the website, I play quite a bit of other music, including Pop, Beatles (a lot of Beatles!), Classical, etc. If you are interested in something other than what is listed, just ask. - I may already know it, and if it's just one piece, I'm always happy to learn something new. (If I need to learn/arrange more than one new piece, we may have to negotiate a little.)
Q. We have a friend/family member that we would like to include in the ceremony. Would you be willing to accompany them?
A. Yes, this is certainly possible.
A few things to keep in mind.
1. A rehearsal will be necessary. This can be arranged at any time, even an hour before the ceremony, at the venue/church.
2. I will require the sheet music and a recording of the piece sent to me at least 1 month prior to the date.
3. Permission from the church and/or wedding coordinator may be required.
Q. I know that photographers, officiants, and videographers are usually invited to share dinner at the reception. What about musicians?
A. That is totally up to you. If dinner is to be served, it is customary to feed musicians if they are playing for the service and the reception, and they will definitely appreciate the generosity. But if you are going to extend such an invitation, please do so prior to the event.
