Texas Old Town
SO glad that I found this place tucked away in the little town of Kyle, TX. The venue is FABULOUS--the landscape, the ceremony site, the rehershal hall, it was all exactly what I wanted for my special day! It was a hard decision to make between the halls, but I picked Stone Hall and absouletly loved it. Very easy people to work with, and helpful anwering all questions that I had. You are not tied to any vendors so you can pick and choose your own food/drinks, which saved my food budget! It might take Martha a day to get back with you, but she has all the information you will need to have a wonderful event for you & your guests!

Haha! Thank you Brittany! And thank you for letting us be a part of your special day. Best wishes to you both.
My daughter's wedding was at Stone Hall which was beautiful. We used Texas Rita's and Southern Fine Dining which both of these vendors did a great job.
We absolutely loved TOT! When we first went to tour the property I told my husband in the parking lot that TOT was it! It is so beautiful inside and out. We got married in Tejas hall because we loved the wooden tables and chairs. It was the perfect spot for our rustic wedding. I never wanted to get married outside but after I saw their ceremony site, I definitely changed my mind. They were so easy to work with and let you bring in any other vendors you like (with the exception of the bar service which is Texas Ritas, also great!). They were quick to respond and even let us setup the day before since the hall wasn't booked. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend the gorgeous venue to anyone and everyone!
It was awesome! A great deal, big enough for our family, gorgeous!
Everyone had a...
Texas Old Town was a wonderful alternative to the pricey venues you find in Austin proper. We had a small budget for the wedding, and Texas Old Town fit in just right. We were able to book our hall (the smallest which is Redbud Hall) about 20 months out, which helped give us some breathing room in terms of time, and helped us to snag a great deal in the process! We loved the fact that we had tables and chairs for both the reception and the ceremony area included in the deal, and that we were able to choose the vendors we wanted to use. BUT they also had some great deals with several vendors (including Pok-E-Jo's) which helped our bottom line as well.
Beautiful venue you don't need any decorations
This is the best place to have your wedding!
Texas Old Town was great the hall was great for the wedding and the service was great I would recommend Texas Old Town to any one having a outside wedding it was great.
While the venue is a tad pricy, it truly is worth every penny. My husband and I did not want to get married in a church so were already limited in venues in that aspect. Three years ago my best friend and maid of honor had gotten married at Texas Old Town, Tejas Hall, so when she said, get married there! I said OK! Its such a rustic setting and feel. The hall is beautiful with the thick all wood tables. Linens are not needed because it ruins the aesthetic. We loved it out there and wouldn;t have changed a thing!
Beautiful & Spacious.. my wedding day day was just how I pictured!
we had Stone Hall the day was great for outdoor wedding.
Beautiful place to be, everyone loved it. The staff was great and very helpful.
Simply put this venue and the management staff is amazing. We were married in Tejas Hall just a couple weeks ago and had close to 320 guests. The hall completely met our needs and we have received so many compliments on how gorgeous the wedding was and really owe that to the facilities and staff at Texas Old Town. Our pictures have turned out fantastic. There are no down sides for choosing this venue. It's natural beauty really eliminates the need for a lot of decorating. Thank you Martha for all your help! We had the best day and will remember it always.
This place is beautiful!! If you are looking for a great place to take wedding, quinceanera pictures even engagement pictures, this place is beautiful. I've been to a couple of weddings out here too and the place is gorgeous. I highly recommend Texas Old Towne for your next event!
Great friendly people and GORGEOUS venue! Me and my fiance made our way to Texas Old Town and had the most friendly couple tour us of the facility! Kyle & Martha were so Wonderful! What an Amazing and Friendly couple! Texas Old Town is the most beautiful place we have yet to visit and definitely the friendliest people we have met yet! They have 4 halls to choose from and all with a different character and twist. We are picking Texas Old Town because Kyle & Martha sold us with their comforting welcome and made us feel important. They really wanted our day to be the best possible. You just dont find better customer service and a husband and wife team like these two. We have visited numerous venues and Texas Old Town is by far the best! Hands Down! You HAVE to tour the halls to enjoy the beauty of this place! Thank you!!!
I picked this venue for our wedding day because of their lack of restrictions as to who we could and could not use. They have very few requirements which leaves you with lots of options to research different vendors and find the best deal. At times difficult to get a timely response, but nothing major that would make me think twice about not using them in the future for any family reunions or special events. I especially loved the fact that that they had no problem with you stopping by to check the place out, and there was no one hovering over you or in your way the day of. Great deal, especially if you decide to have your wedding during the week like I did. Also, if there isn't an event the day before, they let you setup the day prior which really made my wedding day stress free.
Me and my fiance had the absolute BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE experice at Texas Old Town. We called because we could not make it out that day and spoke with Kyle. (What a GREAT EXPERIENCE) Kyle ended up taking 30 minutes out of his day to go and take pictures with his phone and text them to my husband, answered questions and it was the most amazing experience ever. His personality and eagerness to help make things happen is what made us book the Hall at Texas Old Town. We finally were able to visit the facility and we met Martha. Martha was a breath of fresh air. She took us on a wonderful tour, we met Kyle and these were the most helpful couple we have yet to meet. We called numerous places and none even came close to compare with Texas Old Town. Kyles willingness to assist us over the phone and Marthas bright smile is why we will be getting married there! I would suggest ANYONE to at least go visit Kyle, Martha and staff at Texas Old Town before planning a wedding anywhere. Having such friendly people to help beyong expectations is so hard to come by! Big Thanks!
Texas old town was the perfect place for a hill country wedding. Everyone is so helpful and works hard to make sure your wedding day is extra special.
I loved Texas Old Town!! It was the only venue that we looked at for the wedding and we fell in love with the view and how it has a rustic look to it! Anytime I had questions about anything, there was always someone there that could help me out and they were always willing to. The day of the wedding, they were very helpful and came by the reception hall and asked if we needed anything. I loved it and would definitely recommend it to any bride looking to get married somewhere with a beautiful view!!
This place is amazing! I couldn't have found a better place to get married at; the scenery is incredible, the staff is friendly, the rates are rock-bottom considering all that you receive. Thank you Texas Old Town!
Beautiful place!! I booked it site unseen and it went well above expectations. Clean beautiful and perfect for a rustic wedding! Beautiful for pictures. Must see this place to appreciate it. made perfect with Bride and Groom suites to get ready. Stage for Band, they had it all.
Texas Old Town is such a wonderful and unique place to get married! We got so many compliments on how awesome the venue was. The style of the venue was just what we were looking for when we decided on Texas Old Town...rustic and laid back. Another thing that attracted us to the venue was that we could pick all our own outside vendors (photographers, florist, catering, etc.). The only thing we did have to use was their bartender (Texas Ritas)which was completely fine. They were so easy and great to work with as well.
Thank you Texas Old Town for the most memorable and beautiful day!
We absolutely loved having our wedding at Texas Old Town. Everyone who attended our wedding thought it was such an amazing and gorgeous location. I am overall very pleased with Texas Old Town. Occasionally it was difficult to get a hold of management but they usually called or emailed us back within a day or two. I would recommend Texas Old Town to anyone who wants a rustic wedding venue.
Did a great job with our wedding date. They had a wedding in the same Hall we used the day before and they allowed us to use another hall for our rehearsal dinner, and had our Hall the next day ready to go like no one else even used it. They provided chairs and tables for us and we didn't have to spend much on decor due to the beautiful scenery and elegant halls. All of our guests and bridal party loved it, as did we.
My husband and I were just married last weekend at Texas Old Town and we constantly heard from our friends and family how beautiful the ceremony site and reception hall were. Martha is very professional and responds to inquiries quickly, and she is very flexible about any visits to the venue for picture-taking, general tours and rehearsal. It was a pleasure working with Texas Old Town and we have beautiful pictures to look at for years to come!
I loved this place it fit our whole wedding theme.
Overall, Texas Old Town was a gorgeous and beautiful venue. All of my guests said it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to.
However, I feel like I was totally feel like this venue is not worth the money. Yes, the chairs and table are inculded with the price. But, I was told they would help me set up the chairs and tables and they didn't. I feel like they told me what I wanted to hear when I visited the venue and before I signed the contract but then when it came down to it, because it was not written down they were able to back out.
Also, I was told I could use sparklers, even have friends who have used them there, but the week before my wedding when I sent them notes about my wedding, I was told that I could not use them. I spent a ton of money on the sparklers and they went to waste.
The venue is great and gorgeous, but you will not get what you paid for or promised!!!
Excellent customer service before during and after the ceremony. You can't go wrong with this beautiful venue and great staff!!
Everything was perfect! Everyone was great!
Have a decorating staff or a wedding coordinator. It is very stressful to do it yourself in such a short amount of time, especially for over 100 people.
My husband and I had the best venue.. The staff was so wonderful and helpful they made our day so easy and special. Our venue was so great some friends of ours have been looking for a venue and went and booked it the same hall the next day. We love Texas Old Town!!!
I fell in love with this place as soon as I saw it! Everything was going well until the week until my wedding. Communication was extremely hard and I felt like they were telling me things at the last minute (like we can't use fireworks or all the venues were booked for the rehearsal the day before). These things should be told to you months in advance! Instead I found out the day before my wedding. Luckily they let me use the sparklers that we had already purchased and thanks to my day of coordinator, they found a place to have my rehearsal the day before my wedding, but it wasn't ideal. All in all, it is bad communication but the place is gorgeous!
Great and beautiful venue even though it poured all day everything still turned out great!
Vendor response to review
Glad to hear! Happy to be of service to make your day a special one!
Beautiful wedding venue that doesn't need much decoration! Great attentive staff that kept an eye on everything from start to finish.
LOVED our venue. Your hands are tied with beer though, kegs will run you $350 : (
They clean up, but you have to put out the chairs - boo. Such a pretty place, love, love...
We recently had our wedding here at the Tejas Hall on 10-14-11. This venue is spectacular many of our guest gave us plenty of compliments on the plain natural beauty of it and really there’s not much you need to decorate if you love natural beauty plus it saves you a lot of $$$ in the long run. This venue is a great space and well taken care of with the landscaping and gardening it is totally worth the money. The outside ceremony site was jaw dropping beautiful and inside the Tejas hall I loved the tables you really don’t need much to decorate we just used a lot of votives with tea lights and the high gloss table tops with their own natural beauty glowed beautifully. The other thing we loved about the venue is that this was the only venue that we could find that would let you pay in payments! This is great news for those couples that are paying for their own wedding like we did. The only advise that I would give future brides and grooms that book this venue make sure to call at least 3-4 weeks before your wedding and reserve your venue for the night before so you can decorate this helped us tremendously. Make sure to call Texas Old town and see that it’s still open at least once to twice a week. Both my wedding planner and I did and they wouldn’t let us reserve it till the week of and the only reason they did was because they let some other bride that didn’t even have that venue booked use it for her rehearsal the night before our wedding, thankfully my wedding planner worked her magic and Texas Old Town was able to move that bride to her rightful venue and we were able to have it the night before the wedding to decorate. The other thing I would let future bride and grooms know is if you book this venue make sure that you have plenty of man power the venue tables are super heavy and you will need to move them yourself as well for the pretty white ceremony chairs outside which cannot be put out until the day of the wedding not the night before. My husband and the groomsmen set up all the chairs the morning of our wedding and it is time consuming. Lastly the only HUGE BEWARE advise I would give is beware of the barter vendor that Texas Old Town is contracted with which is Texas Ritas I will write a whole separate review for them because I don’t think it should reflect on Texas Old Town because overall Texas Old Town was a great venue.
Beautiful site for ceremony and reception. Perfect for DIY brides! Tables and chairs came included in the price which was nice. The only thing that got stressful was wondering if we were going to be able to decorate the day before, which we did. Also they were not clear about the decorating time until the week of the wedding and told me we only had three hours to do it. Not really sure why it matters how long we were there to decorate since nobody else was using the hall. It does smell like sulfur or something from the well water too, but above all, it was pretty wonderful here.
Texas Old Town was such a beautiful place for my wedding. It was easily the best place in the Austin area to get married for the price. The hall and ceremony site (Redbud Hall) was absolutely gorgeous and the grounds are also so beautiful. The staff at Texas Old Town are also very easy to get a hold of and very responsive to questions and requests. Loved working with them and am recommending them to other friends getting married!
Good evening Mr. German:
I am writing to you to express my appreciation to you and the entire staff at Texas Old Towne. As I am watching the video I remember all of the staff and how they all went the extra mile to make our daughters wedding so perfect. From the owner spraying for wasps....the young men who replaced the window...the folks who blew off the last blades of grass..... The two young men who helped bring out the chairs. Randy and his willingness to stay even a few minutes passed our deadline to make sure we got everything cleaned up nicely. Everyone from day one was top notch in every way and we hope to someday come back for another wedding.
Thanks so much..
Randy Becker, USAF Retired MC Officer
Texas Old Town is a beautiful venue! I highly recommend having your wedding and reception there. I love having the option of outside and inside. Great landscaping, lovely buildings, plenty of parking. Great place!
The place was amazing. My guests keep telling me that my wedding was the most beautiful wedding that they had every been to. The venue is gorgeous. I had my ceremony and reception at the Sage Hall. It was a little pricey because it does not include setting up. The price only included, the table, chairs, and venue. You are on your own for the rest.
Texas Old Town was absolutely wonderful with everything!! I could not imagine a more perfect place to get married. Everyone there was extremely friendly and helpful. The place is so gorgeous even when it is rainy! They do a great job providing the little things like outdoor amp and microphone system and a CD player. Everything was just perfect and gorgeous. I could not have asked for a better place to celebrate the best day of our lives! I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys nature and the rustic look.
We used Texas Old Town for our wedding ceremony and reception site! Danny was very helpful from beginning to end. Everything was so beautiful...all of the facilities were great! They allow you plenty of time to get your decor picked up after the reception which helped alot! Texas Old Town was wonderful!
I had my reception at Texas Old Town (Sage Hall) late February 2011. it was absolutely gorgeous!! I couldn't have been more happy with the venue and the service. All night long, I was told how beautiful and elegant the place was. It fit perfectly with our "western romance" feel. The staff was available all day with any needs we had and were very understanding and helpful. They truly made contracting with them an easy task. We searched long and hard trying to find the perfect place for us...from Castroville to Boerne, to Houston to Austin and our decision to go with Texas Old Town was by far the best choice for us! If you are even considering having your wedding or reception at Texas Old Town, don't think about it anymore and book it! You will definitely not regret it!
Danny and the team at Texas Old Town are wonderful. I just got married on 2/4/11 and as we all know the weather was awful. The water was frozen at the venue from the freezing temps outside. Danny and his team worked so hard to make sure that the pipes were thawed out and taken care of for us. We didn't have to worry about a thing. Danny was very easy to talk to and very accomodating with site visits, etc. My day was perfect and a lot of that had to do with this beautiful venue!
Everything about this venue was PERFECT. Danny was very professional and took care of all of our needs prior to the event. All of our guests were impressed by the Tejas Hall and ceremony site. However, be sure to use someone else for your DJ needs and do not use their in-house DJ "Ultimate Sound." You want a rustic-meets-classy Texas wedding? TOT is the place!
Texas Old Town is great! The venues are beautiful and provide a great backdrop for any wedding. We used Redbud Hall and its associated ceremony site for our wedding. The grounds are very well-maintained and the hall itself provided a nice "clean slate" for us to build our decor around. The place is gorgeous on it's own, but it looked great after we were done decorating. The woodwork and accent lighting goes well with any color scheme, and the outdoor ceremony site was so nice it didn't even really need decorating.
We definately had a DIY wedding, and this venue is perfect for that. We were able to decorate the day before, and we kept our costs down because you don't need a lot of decorations to make this place look good. It was also great to have everything in one place. We liked that we were able to get married, then just walk across a small road to our reception. (I just wish they had built a walkway across the road-it's gravel so the bottom of my dress got dirty and it's a bit hard to walk on in heels.)
My only complaints are: we were weren't able to decorate our ceremony site/set up the chairs the day before, so my groom had to do that the morning of the wedding. I think this was because the venues now have nice new white chairs for the ceremony sites. (They used to just have regular metal folding chairs that didn't look so great). The fact that they have these chairs saved me about $400 on rentals, but I would've liked to have everything set up the day before. They also would not let my DJ use their sound system unless I gave them a $250 security deposit. I understand why (sound equipment is expensive) and I would've been ok with it, but they did not tell me about this policy until the day before my wedding. I was worried that this would cause problems, but luckily my DJ was able to bring his own equipment. If you use the DJ from Texs Old Town's vendor list, they don't charge the deposit, but that DJ is pretty expensive.
All in all, we had a great wedding and we received lots of compliments on the venue. It also photographs beautifully, so our wedding pics look great! =)
Everything about our wedding day was completely perfect thanks to Texas Old Town Sage Hall. We were able to have the wedding of our dreams on our budget! It is seriously the way to go if you want to save thousands by hiring your own caterer (we hired Salt Lick BBQ which people are still raving about, and it was one of the most affordable we found) and buy your own alcohol. The Texas Ritas company that they work with is extremely professional and made everything go smoothly. The fact that all of the chairs and tables were provided took a lot of stress out. Texas Old Town pretty much lets you do whatever you want with the venue and you have access to it ALL day. Our wedding pictures turned out completely beautiful because there are so many pretty areas to take pictures. Almost every guest to our wedding has commented either on the day of or since about how amazing and perfect the venue was!
We are so happy to have chosen this venue so we could have what WE really wanted for our special day. Thank you so much for that!
Texas Old Town (TOT) is a wonderful venue with a friendly staff that works hard to make sure that your wedding day is not only beautiful, but also goes according to plan. My wedding day was forecast with somewhat questionable weather and they worked hard to ensure that a solid back-up plan was in place. (It turned out that the day would be sunny and the back up plan was not needed, but knowing that I had one really put my mind at ease in the week leading up to the day). TOT's facilities were perfect for all the vendors involved and I can't think of a better place to have an "outdoorsy" wedding with all the comforts and amenities of any top venue.
The site was absolutely beautiful. Everything went smoothly and we loved the site.
Danny was wonderful and the facilities were beautiful!!
I had nothing but great communication with everyone at Texas Old Town, and the facilities were wonderful and clean and they met all our needs whether it was 5 months or 5 minutes before the wedding. All our guests went on and on about how great the place was, especially in photos. Would recommend them to anyone!
awesome..especially for a spring wedding!
I absolutly loved Texas Old Town. I fell in love with it the moment we went to look. They were very helpful and always answerd my questions no matter how off the wall they were. They put in a nice stone path to the ceremony site prior to my wedding which was so nice and even got in new white chairs for the site in time for us to use. They looked great in the pictures! I cannot say enough good things about TOT!
I recently had my wedding here, and I loved how beautiful it was! We picked it because we wanted a simple wedding with very little extra decorations (and to save money!). I loved the venue, but the service wasn't that great. When we originally booked the venue, we scheduled a tour. We had to wait for 15 minutes before Danny showed up for us. We called 2 different numbers, and the office was locked. My husband was ready to give up on the place, but I was so excited about the sheer beauty of the place, we stayed. And we loved it. About 3 months before the wedding, Danny called us and told us that we did not owe a final payment like we thought, but in fact had overpaid already. I requested that in writing (I wanted to be sure to follow the contract), and 2 days later he wrote me saying that he was wrong and we still owed an entire payment. When we showed up to set up for the wedding, there were no chairs anywhere in the hall like they promised. We had to track someone down for the chairs.
Overall, I loved the venue. It was absolutely beautiful. We had several guests tell us that it was gorgeous. I took points away from my rating because of dealing with Danny and his lack of knowledge. However, I would still recommend this venue- just be prepared to deal with him.
It was the best experience, and iwill remember it forever.
If you have never been to Texas Old Town in Kyle, it is beautiful. I had my ceremony elsewhere and had the reception there. The natural beauty of each facility meant that I didn't have to spend a lot on decorations. I was able to bring in my own alcohol which saved my fiance and I a lot of money and the tables and chairs were already provided and they were pretty chairs too so I didn't have to worry about fixing them up too much, either. They have three facilities on site, one can accomodate a smaller crowd, another has a more rustic feel to it but Sage Hall, which is where I had my reception had the beautiful look of wood without being too rustic. You definately need to see this place for yourself!
This venue is amazing. They took care of everything and made us feel so relaxed on our wedding day! This venue is the best!!!!!Thanks so much for all of your help to making my wedding day perfect and unforgettable.
Our wedding was amazing and we loved every second of it and we would do it again at old town but here are a few things you should be ready for.....We had our wedding at Texas Old Town it was beautiful. In the contract it states that the floors would be cleaned and waxed before each event. The day of our wedding the floor were filthy. My dress was black on the bottom from the bridal room upstairs, and I was only in it for about 30 mins. While everyone was setting up for the wedding Texas Old Town allowed people to tour....which i can understand to a point but they brought in three different groups of people before my dad said NO MORE they did not tell me this until after the wedding :) thank god!!! But one of the tours had the entire family mom dad grandma grandpa whole nine yards and the people where touching our belongs....not to mention they were going to allow them into the bridal room where my dress was hanging as well as all the purses and belongs....this was absolutely unacceptable in my opinion.... think about it on your wedding day this is the last thing you want to worry about...we bought our table cloths offline from cvimports.com....great site they were cheaper than to buy than to rent anywhere else especially Austin party central... they are very expensive but anyway one of the tours a lady was touching the table cloths and they were satin so she could have easily knocked over something on accident messing up a table cloth which in return would have ruined one of my tables because we only had enough for the specific number of table we had planned for. Danny was very nice always but we were a little disappointed the day of, but needless to say the wedding turned out beautiful...we picked old town because it was just what we were looking for so if you choose to do your wedding here just be aware!!!! It is a beautiful place, and we are glad we did it their. We got www.fuschaksbbq.com to cater and they were great very professional and very good prices!!! the food was amazing and tasted great. The owner even called the next day to ensure that everything was okay and apologized for not coming.
Texas Old Town was exactly what I was looking for for my reception... rustic yet elegant... it gave a comfortable feeling with the stuffiness that hotel venues often feel like... but not too country.
At TOT, you pay for the venue, and are responsible for doing everything else on your own, which was great for me. It allowed me to have the beautiful dream wedding that I wanted with paying like $100+ a head for food and alcohol (as I contracted each of those out on my own separately).
I used Sage Hall (TOT has 3 diff halls available). It was awesome b/c it's secluded so you feel like you have your own party without other people barging in on it. Sage Hall is beautiful -- wooden venue with adorable windows, round tables (but you have to rent your own linens), and lots of space to dance.
The staff at TOT were great. I dealt mostly with Danny, who was prompt to respond to all my questions and requests.
TOT is also great b/c as long as there is not anything going on the night before your event, you can come in and decorate the night before -- which really helps calm things down the day-of.
Overall, wonderful experience. Everything I hoped for and more... and I highly recommend Texas Old Town to people around the Kyle area (I was in Austin for the ceremony... but it was well worth the drive!)
It was a fabulous venue. My new son-in-law is from Pennsylvania and he wanted his PA family to see a Texas wedding. It went really well. The place is beautiful and was really enhanced by our decorations both inside and out.
Everything is laid out well and very convenient for the various wedding vendors, bridal party and guests.
Danny was very pleasant and nice to work with the whole way through. The venue speaks for itself- it's gorgeous! We had an awesome, unbelievable wedding, and would recommend Texas Old Town to anyone.
My husband and I enjoyed working with Danny at Texas Old Town. He was professional and the facility is beautiful! It has a very natural "Texas" look. All of our guests commented on how beautiful everything was. I think you can dress it up or make it casual. We chose somewhere in the middle. It is great to have access to the facility all day and Danny worked with us on the date since we had to change it after we scheduled.
Most everything was as he said it would be on the day of the wedding. The only negative was that there were not enough chairs for the ceremony, we were 25 chairs short of the 100 that were supposed to be there. My husband asked for the chairs and we never got them. Only some people had to stand for our ceremony. Since luckily, we had less guests than we planned on.
The recommended caterer is Dagars and Danny worked with them to get them to make our date available. We really liked Dagars's food and service! They were great and we were happy that they could be available that day. Texas Ritas, the required bartender service, was good to work with. Kelly, the bartender for the night, was great!
The cost at Texas Old Town is a little lower than other "ranch" venues due to less service options being offered. We set up our own tables and chairs as well as chairs for the ceremony. Other places we checked did that for you, but cost a few thousand more. We had a lot of friends and family who helped us set up and tear down everything. (Although I believe that TOT would have taken the tables and chairs down for us.) The clean up of the meal was a part of the catering contract.
We are so happy that we had our wedding at Texas Old Town! We would choose this venue again if we could redo it all and we would gladly recommend it to other people. Thank you TOT for a great experience!
Beautiful venue for ceremony and reception. Client rents empty venue, so must arrange all other vendors and services, which allows much freedom of choice of vendors. This allows more creativity, but does mean more organization and work for client. Vendor does provide "preferred" list.
I had a great wedding here! My guests were in awe of the grounds, facilities, and ambience out there.
My coworker loved her event there too.
It was the BEST decision we ever made to be married here. Larry and his staff were so helpful like working with friends. Trust me weddings are stressful enough and any hiccups I had was immediately handled with smile and a no problem at all. The location doesn't need much decor just some of your own personal touches because it is so beautiful by itself and they let my family go in early on the day to set the tables. Larry designed the place with so many careful details like the ceremony location has a great sound system and the design of the reception hall & ceremony site helps take such beautiful pictures as well. And the guests loved the food too which they use their own smoke pit which was an area my husband liked along with grooms dressing room to hang out at beforehand. I loved the location, the value, and working with great people! I would recommend it to any friend because they became our friends to help create our special day.
We have filmed three Weddings at Texas Old Town, once in 2010 and twice in 2011. What a wonderful Texas setting! The Texas Old Town staff was professional, friendly and very accommodating.
Our filming of these Weddings and working with Danny at Texas Old Town was a great all around experience.
We hope to return soon.

We absolutely love working at Texas Old Town! It is a fantastic venue with four unique reception halls. All the staff are wonderful to work with. We are always excited when we get a wedding inquiry from a bride who is getting married there because we know the event will be run effortlessly, and we will be able to capture phenomenal images of the beautiful and well maintained facilities.
Texas Old Town is a great location to have your wedding. The location and buildings are beautiful. The folks are great to work with. If you haven't been to Texas Old Town check it out. It has that western feel to it.
Texas Old Town is an outstanding venue! Beautiful grounds and a variety of halls. Something for everyone and every occasion. The staff is amazing! Very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them!
Texas Old Town really is a neat place and an ideal location to get married at. I have friends from all over that want just what TOT offers, small to large rustic outdoor facilities.
Texas Old Town has multiple, beautiful spaces on a great piece of land. Their friendly and helpful staff will definitely guide you in the right direction to fit your wedding's needs perfectly!
It's a pleasure working with Texas Old Town. They have a gorgeous venue along with an impeccably efficient staff. It truly has the flavor of "Old Texas". It's perfect for all events, small and large.
Texas Old Town is the ideal setting for your wedding. Danny, Martha and their staff have mastered the art of venue planning for an event. Their profesionalism, attention to detail and passion ensures a beautiful memory for you and your guests. Whether you want a stunning outdoor wedding or an elegant indoor affair, Texas Old Town has the perfect setting for your special day. We have worked with Texas Old Town for 3 yrs and every event seems to have left the bride and groom knowing that they had made the perfect choice.
As a wedding planner, I absolutely love this venue! If you are looking to have an outdoor, rustic feel to your wedding and reception, take a look at Texas Old Town. It is one of my favorite venues in the Austin area.
Texas old Town is one of our favorite venues. They are always prepared, professional and wonderful to work with.
Texas Old Town is one of the most beautiful and diverse venues in the Austin area. They take advantage of the natural Texas landscape. The staff is absolutely professional and a pleasure to work with.
We have been working with this venue for several years. Nice people to work with. Great venue
Texas Old Town is the original look that spawned "The Springs Events" the owner of the various 'springs' facilities around Texas. It typifies rustic elegance that started out as a western town turned country elegant wedding venue. Texas Old Town has four beautiful venues of different sizes, with that never compromising country atomsphere. Call Martha at 512.554.2741 to check it out!
Texas Old Town is the original hall and has four unique, rustic country halls to choose from. It is just south of Austin and is simply beautiful!
Texas Old Town is a wedding venue just south of Austin in Kyle. It currently has 4 great operating venues that can accommodate the size and taste of your wedding. Call Texas Old Town at 512.554.2741 and talk to Martha. She is such a great help!
Texas Old Town is a great facility just south of Austin. I DJed a New Year's Eve wedding there last year and loved the old western look. As an entertainer, this facility was easy to load in and out of and there were more than enough electric plugs for my system and lights.
I have 3 weddings coming up this next year at Texas Old Town and am looking forward to returning there...
Texas Old Town is a great venue for a truly 'Texas' themed wedding ! The hall was completely wood interior even the bar and extra long buffet table giving everything that country vibe. The kitchen has plenty of prep space and a large cooler which is a plus for caterers. The only bummer is they got rid of the ovens so we'll just need to rent a warming cabinet when we cater here from now on. Also the water has a sulphur smell but I guess thats just part of country living !
Gorgeous location perfect for a shabby chic or country style wedding. There are several venue spaces available and ample parking....I've done weddings there with 100 - 300 guests! The outside ceremony locations are lovely but there is ample room inside in case you need a rain plan. Although a bit of a drive if you are in north Austin, it is well worth it!
If you want a great place for a wedding that is private and set in a serene, beautiful environment, you can't go wrong with Texas Old Town. It has ample parking, great staff, and a wonderful country backdrop for you to have your wedding. They work well with vendors as well!

Beautiful country venue conveniently located between San Marcos and Austin in Kyle. Reception area is huge! Can't wait to work with them again.
We have been working as photographers at Texas Old Town since the very beginning about 6 years ago. Larry the owner was kind enough to select us as his first "preferred vendor" because of our unique lighting style for the largest hall Tejas. Texas Old Town has grown to 3 venues in Kyle and now has locations in Magnolia and Conroe Texas with a new venue in Georgetown 2011/2012. The staff at Texas Old Town really seem to go out of their way to take care of their brides. We have only heard good things about Texas Old Town and happy to endorse this country style wedding venue.

I love the design and flexibility that having a wedding, there, entails. The people that work there are always very helpful and generous. I always look forward to DJing there.
Texas Old Town is a beautiful location tucked away in the Texas Hills Country of Kyle.
A short distance off IH35, North of San Antonio and less than 30 minutes from Austin. The staff are very helpful. The moment you walk in to this village with its old western charm you'll be swept away and made to feel at home. As a florist, I can say that Texas Old Town grounds are great for capturing the setting for a perfect out door wedding. The Western style architecture surrounded by lush grounds make it the perfect setting for a romantic and unforgettable wedding you and your guest will always...
