We were happy with the experience, by and large. Jeanne is friendly and warm, the venue provided is homey and welcoming for a small group. I provided short notice, so we didn't get the exact day we had wanted, but it all worked out fine. I also should have mentioned in advance that I didn't want a religious service. Brides please note that the space provided for changing into your dress is very small -- a dress with a train will be too big for this place! If you're looking for something a little more special than just making it legal, but only a few guests and quick and simple, this is a great service!

Additional Advice
Where do I get my marriage license? You must both apply in person to a South Carolina Probate Court located at each County Courthouse. The closest one to our location in Richland County on Main Street in downtown Columbia. You can get your license from any court in the state and be married in any South Carolina location. Make sure you give yourself enough time to apply and pick up your license. There is is a 24-hour period required.
What must I bring to the wedding to make it legal? Bring the three copies of the marriage license that you pick up from the courthouse and current, valid picture IDs for both bride and groom. Rings and complete ceremonies are NOT requirements to be married.
What if I just want to elope? Welcome! We perform many intimate wedding ceremonies for just the couple. It is, after all, about the two of you. Our "Make It :egal" package it tailor made for this.
