Vicky at Windsor Weddings at the academy was awesome and so very very helpful. She was even there on the day of the wedding to help calm nerves and answer questions. The Academy Chapel is a lovely chapel with a history and feel that made it a very intimate ceremony.

I thought of the Academy from the very beginning of my engagement. It was because my parents had gotten married at the Academy twenty five years prior to the year of my wedding so it was special to my family. While there are little things wrong (cracks and such) Vikki at Windsor Weddings, is doing her best to fix them. She was a great help but a little slow at returning calls and emails due to short office hours. Overall, I was happy with the chapel (it was beautiful with the evening sun shining through the windows) and I couldn't have picked a better one.

This place was gorgeous. It was definitely the perfect place for the ceremony. Vicki was very knowledgeable and helped us to find other vendors as well.

The Academy Chapel was absolutely beautiful. It has so much history with plenty of space! The people were helpful and polite. I truly enjoyed my wedding ceremony at the Academy Chapel!

An absolutely beautiful venue and they dealt beautifully with a mother of the bride who was not so pleasant... which i could not have appreciated more.

The Academy Chapel was the perfect setting for our intimate ceremony. This historic building, which encloses the chapel, is a beautiful, stately looking brick manor. The grounds are beautiful and make a perfect backdrop for photos. The chapel itself is gorgeous and majestic, while small and intimate. Light streaming in the many windows makes the hardwood floors glisten, and the acoustics are excellent – no need for microphones for the ceremony. Parking is plentiful, but I have heard that it can get really muddy for your guests if your wedding is on a rainy day (ours was dry). The chapel assigns you a wedding coordinator, which mainly just helps with the major logistics on the actual wedding day. They do have a ballroom to hold a reception in, but there were too many rules and regulations for us, and we thought it was a bit pricey for what it was.

All of the employees were extremely helpful- they really went above and beyond. The facility coordinator helped us find musicians, and helped us a lot with with all of the "little things". It's kind of a funny story, but they even kept the ballroom which we used for our reception, open extra late because one of the bridesmaids left with the keys to my car, and I had to wait there with my husband while one of the groomsmen drove to her house to get them! I really appreciated not having to wait in the cold! We had our ceremony in the chapel- which is beautiful! It is so pretty that we really didn't have to use a lot of decorations. That was wonderful.
