Our favorite restaurant in the Boston area! My then-boyfriend (now husband) and I came here to celebrate all our anniversaries and valentine's day. The food is fantastic, the service is excellent, and ambiance is ultra chic and trendy.
About The Blue Room
the blue room’s private dining room comfortably accommodates up to 50 people for lunch, brunch or dinner, up to 70 for cocktails and hors d’ouevres and is available sunday through friday evenings, sunday mornings for brunch and monday through saturday for lunch. the pdr is a warm, cozy and comfortable room with brick and stone walls, wood beamed ceilings and zinc-topped tables. the room is equipped with its own bar that is often used for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres before sitting down to dinner. during the summer months there is access to the bricked garden patio. the pdr can easily be arranged in a variety of table sizes and configurations depending on the size of the group and your needs. the blue room is set up with wireless internet and we would be happy to refer you to our a/v contact if you should need any equipment on site for your event.
he dinner menus are priced at $45 for three courses, and $55 for four courses. these include: appetizers, salad or cheese (four course only), main course, dessert, coffee and tea.
dinner menus paired with wine are also available for $85 and our own take on a "steak house" menu paired with excellent wines is $145 per person.
all wine, beer, cocktails, bottled water, soft drinks, juices and after dinner drinks are priced separately. prices do not include tax of 5 percent, administrative fee of 4 percent, and a service charge of 20 percent (not less than $150 per server). the minimum dinner food and beverage charge sunday through thursday is $1,250 except for the month of december, when it is $1,750. on friday evenings the food and beverage minimum is $2,500.
sunday brunch parties take part in the blue room's acclaimed buffet brunch. your guests will sample a great variety of interesting lunch and breakfast dishes while enjoying the privacy and intimacy of the pdr. brunch is priced at $23 per person, which includes the buffet, coffee and tea. the brunch food and beverage minimum is $750.
we will hold the private dining room for your party when you have signed a confirmation agreement with us and we have received a 50 percent deposit. this is of course refundable if you cancel at least 21 days prior to the event.
