The Boudoir Loft

I am the client that the review below is speaking of (which I'm not sure how long the review will be there, as there are proper ways for vendors to review themselves). Long story short, we had booked the photog (under the name "The Village Paparazzi) for 21 hours over 2 days. We had to cancel one of the days because it was to be a destination wedding (see my bio) and my father has fallen very ill and is no longer able to travel. So we had to cancel the destination wedding, and had rescheduled the ceremony for the same day as the at home reception. So as we would need her for less than half the time, and there would be no travel for her now, yes, we did ask for a discount, however that was well before the invoice was sent. She refused to give us a discount even though we would only be using her for about 10 hours as opposed to the original 21 that was booked. When we received the invoice she wanted payment 19 days prior to the new date, even though the contract clearly stated that payment was due on the day of the event. When we questioned her on this she said that we had too many issues, and would be refunding our deposit, and that we would need to find a new photographer.

There was no free engagement shoot. We paid $75 dollars with that money to be credited to the wedding package if we choose to book her. She is now saying Free Boudoir, but is holding my deposit hostage, as she needs to calculate a price for the boudoir shoot and take that out of the deposit. We had paid $135 dollars for a B-pic book and her editing, I would be more than happy to let her keep that as long as I get the rights to my images. She locked me out from downloading them, as soon as she let us go. So I'm not looking for the B-pic book money or the $75 credit for the engagement shoot. I just want my deposit back, so I can move on to another photographer, but she says that her attorney is handling the matter, but she refuses to give me her attorney's name.
