The Bridal Beauty Salon

The owner of this salon, Lati, is incredibly rude, unprofessional and inconsiderate to clients. Many former customers agree with this assessment. My experience at this salon was very upsetting. There are many other places in Chicago that will provide the same beauty treatments with less nastiness than customers would experience here.

I had my hair and make up done. Lati did my hair for my sisters wedding and my own wedding. I had the trial and i was very happy with it. She is very down to earth and goes straight to the point. Just tell her or show her what hair-do you want and she will do it! My make up came out great as well. They change anything you want until you are 100% happy! Make sure you book early they are always busy!

I used the Bridal Beauty Salon for hair and makeup for myself (the bride), my six bridesmaids and two mothers. I went in for a hair and makeup trial and since I was an out of town bride, I couldn't make it in on a Tuesday or Thursday to get a 50% off trial, so I paid full price, which I thought was a bit silly for the amount of business I was bringing them.
The hair and makeup looked great and all services were delivered as promised. Lati did a nice job and worked very quickly, but many of my bridesmaids did comment that she was kind of rude and made some less-than-professional remarks while she was doing their hair.

Jill did the makeup for me and my girls and Marissa did our hair. I can't believe how talented they are. I had a very clear idea of how I wanted to look for our wedding day and not only did they do it but they improved on it in a way that i didn't know was possible. I've never felt so pretty before in my life. I felt very comfortable and loved that I still looked like myself... something that was very important to me! I had some changes that I wanted to make from my makeup trial and Jill made sure that I was happy with every little step the day of. And I would totally recommend air brush makeup! I have oily skin and I cried all day and the stuff didn't budge. It was so lightweight that I couldn't even tell that I had it on but it looked awesome. The moms and bridesmaids all loved their hair and makeup too and no came in with a plan! Jill and Marissa just whipped up beautiful looks for everyone.

And Jill and Marissa are a joy to work with. Marissa is bubbly and excited and Jill is soothing and calm... the perfect duo! Both are incredibly professional and friendly and I consider myself very lucky to have worked with them.

I also really liked that they offer half off hair and makeup trials on certain days of the week. It seems like they are trying very hard to be accessible to brides with limited budgets. I was super late to my trial (I flew in from Boston and got stuck in the terror that is Chicago traffic) but they were really accommodating and nice about it. I lucked out that the girl scheduled after me never showed. After my trial, I wrote a long email with my thoughts and received a response that said all the changes could be made... literally the email was just that one sentence so I was a little worried. Thankfully there was no need to be worried since Jill is a makeup genius. Communication can be difficult... they respond to emails quickly but not very thoroughly and it can be hard to catch them on the phone. It wasn't a huge problem and I would still recommend the Bridal Beauty Salon to brides

The bridal beauty salon is great. They came on site to do my makeup and my sister, mom and my hair. I think their prices are reasonable and they do a stellar job. I got compliments all day long and after on both my hair and makeup.
Lati did my hair and she was great. She’s super friendly and cheery and who doesn’t want to be around someone cheery on your wedding day? She’s a pro at what she does and could do hair in 30 minutes or less and it looks great. My hair stayed put all day long and it didn’t look over sprayed or crunchy. She listened to what I wanted and executed it perfectly.
My make was also done by BBB. I chose airbrush make up and it turned out great. The makeup didn’t look or feel cakey or piled on. It looked light and natural. She did such a great job and was also a delight to work with.
Bridal Beauty Salon are awesome and they did a stellar job. As I said earlier I got compliments all day long esp from my husband :D and when people saw my pictures they commented that my hair and makeup was awesome. I would recommend Bridal Beauty Salon to anyone and everyone :D

Marissa was my hairstylist for my wedding, and I am so thankful for her! When I met her during my trial, she was so sweet and helpful and was able to create the exact hair that I envisioned for myself. Besides being really skilled, I decided to go with her because of her gregariousness. :)

On the day of the wedding, there was some flooding due to the insane thunderstorm that took place throughout the night; Marissa called and let me know that she would be a few minutes late (and she was really only a couple minutes late). She got right to work, and she was so quick! She was able to create beautiful hairdos for my five bridesmaid, taking 30 minutes per bridesmaid. My hair took 45 minutes, and it was very well-done! She was so friendly throughout the whole process, and all my bridesmaids really enjoyed their time with her and just chatted up a storm with her.

Everyone loved our hairstyles! But really, I was just super-thankful for someone who is so skilled AND friendly... I felt like I knew her for more than a few hours by the way she talked and just made everything so comfortable. (Some hairstylists just sit you down and get to work and barely talk...kind of awkward.)

I had a hair and makeup trial here, but did not book them for my wedding. The other girls I saw in the salon looked great after their trials, both hair and makeup. I just wasn't 100% happy with how my hair and makeup turned out. My hair wasn't quite the style I had wanted, even though I had pictures. I understand that my head of hair isn't exactly the same as the photo I had, but it just had a different look to it. My makeup artist didn't recommend the airbrush makeup, although for my outdoor wedding and my skin type, I ended up doing airbrush and it was definitely the route to go. At my trial the foundation was too caked on, and up close it was just too much. I also didn't really get any eyeliner put on when I mentioned I wanted to play up my eyes. They did tell me I would be able to change anything I wanted for the actual wedding day. The stylist who did my hair for the trial would not have been able to do my hair for the wedding day, so that wasn't as reassuring and I wondered why they didn't check that first. I also had a hard time hearing back from them in a timely manner sometimes and I could not reach them by phone during a weekday that I called. They do have a cute little salon with a lot of natural light, though, and they were all very nice. If you're looking for any stylists salons, just don't be afraid to do more than one hair/makeup trial at different places until you are happy and feel beautiful!

Lati and her team were great...they arrived right on time and worked thru my rather large number of girls without a problem...it was so nice to not be rushed and have everyone loving their hair and make up...they work with you thru anything and everything you could ever want. I highly suggest great work for a reasonable price.

My hair and my bridesmaids' hair came out exactly the way we envisioned. Leti did a fabulous job on everyone's hair and I would highly recommend her talent.

I can't say enough great things about the Bridal Beauty Salon. I had a free trial 2 weeks before my wedding and the stylist was able to create the exact hairstyle I had been thinking of, in addition Jill, the makeup artist, did a phenomenal job with my makeup. I also booked to have eyelash extensions, and they looked amazing!! Lati truly provides great services at reasonable prices, especially since the ladies travel to wherever you're getting ready the day of the wedding! The only drawback is that my original stylist was unable to do my hair the day of my wedding due to a scheduling conflict and another woman, Ronika, was scheduled to do hair instead. She did a great job on me, my mother, and my flower-girl, however, she was late and took a little too long on each of us. This meant that my MOH had to fix her own hair as I was getting my up-do done. Granted, we weren't charged for this, however we were upset that my MOH had to straighten her hair and simply wear it down 30 minutes before we had to leave.

I was a little hesitant to spend the money to have the Bridal Beauty Salon do my hair and makeup since I wasn't convinced it was all that necessary. After meeting with them and doing my " trial run" I was completely sold. I had shown them a photo of a hair style I liked and they were able to match it perfectly to suit me and my makeup looked beautiful. I didn't think they could top my trial run but on the day of our wedding, I looked amazing. I couldn't believe it was me!! It was completely worth it when I saw the look on my fiance's face when he saw me for the first time. His jaw nearly dropped to the floor.
Also, we had an outdoor wedding that became very windy and drizzled briefly. I thought for sure I was going to look completely wind tossed but I was amazed that I still looked great for the reception. I know I could never have looked nearly so nice if it hadn't been for them. They worked miracles for me!!

Lati, Kerre, and their girls are fantastic! I went for a trial run and then had them do hair/makeup for myself and my ladies/moms. Everyone looked gorgeous!! It was absolutely worth the extra $ over competitors to have them onsite. They're both fun and easy going, which makes the experience that much more enjoyable. The reviews speak for themselves in terms of their talent, if you go with them you will be very happy!

Lati was excellent! She was very easy to work with. All my girls loved their hair. Everytime I looked at them I loved that they all had unique hairstyles that held up the whole night.

I love Lati! She was great. I had 3 trials previous to her and all were miserable. She was completely helpful and great. She came to me and the girls at my hotel the day of. Everything went off without a hitch. I think the price was great considering she traveled to us. I would highly recommend her, her personality is infectious :-)

Styles Down the Aisle was great! They came to my hotel for the trial 2 days before the wedding, and on the day of the wedding they came to the venue to get the wedding party ready. Erin did a great job with all the hair styles!

I booked them just a couple weeks before the wedding after not liking my trial with K Chula salon. I got a great price by doing their 'make an offer' deal. Claudia was great! It took a little longer than planned, so we were running a little late, but everyone's hair turned out beautifully.

Lati did hair for 3 BMs, 1 mom and myself.She also did two hair trials for me. She did one up do and one with real hair extensions. After that, I decided on something totally different, not because of her, but because of the way I felt I looked best. After the two hair trials I picked a totally new style and she gave me a few hair cut tips for the style. She had me a little worried because I contracted her for about 3 hrs from 8:30am-11:30am. She had a wedding to do before mine and one after mine. I was worried she would show up late, but she was actually about 15 minutes early.Everything went great and my hair was amazing.

I can not even begin to express how awesome of a team Lati and Kerr are! Lati was able to manipulate my hair exactly the way I wanted it to be done! And Kerr made my make-up look outstanding for photos and not too "made-up" in person. They both were exceptionally nice and were great conversationists. The prices are well worth the results.

i had a hard time looking for make-up and hair artists that were willing to come to our location, as well as be able to handle the different range of skin and hair types in my bridal party. many other places i looked into wanted me to buy the make up in addition to pay for the services.
they were punctual AND best of all they brought assistants for free since we were such a big bridal party. another shop wanted us to start at 6am, a wedding day is already crazy.
the girls were really warm and caring. very professional, if i ever had to do it again or another event i would contact these girls!

$1600 for hair and makeup for Bride, 7 bridesmaids, my mother, and 2 close friends!

These two young ladies that own this company have really got it together. They were very professional and explained there services very well. I just had my make up done and it looked great for the whole 10 hour and 95 degree heat I had to wear it in. They also give you the choice of sylicone foundation or regular and I chose the sylicone and even though it was more expensive for the bride it was well worth it. For my girls i just did the regular foundation and they stayed on pretty good too. She was on time and very quick the day of...

I did not get my hair done by Styles down the Aisle but they have an online boutique for jewelry and hair accessories. I ordered custom jewelry for myself and my bridesmaids. I loved it so much I ordered the same for my sister’s wedding, my sister-in-law’s wedding and a friend of mine’s wedding. All of us loved the jewelry! What a perfect way to match bridesmaid dresses at a great price! She even made some changes in the design to work better for our dresses. I would highly recommend them!
