I found the bridal event to be very boring. I went with my sister-in-law (who was engaged at the time) and we didn’t feel like we learned anything from the bridal show. The wedding band that performed wasn’t very good at all and made me glad that I had hired a DJ. I already had most of my vendors booked. I was hoping they would present ideas like unique flower arrangements, favors, latest wedding program styles, escort cards, or table arrangements. It felt like a wedding version of a college expo, only I was required to pay a fee. It really gave me a negative outlook on bridal expos. It would be nice if there was a bridal show that seemed like they cared about weddings and brides, not how to make money by charging vendors fees to have a table setup and charge the brides to attend.
