The Cake Collection

Cake was sooo yummy. we did a 3 tier cake (lemon, red velvet, and chocolate) but all their flavors were great! Cake prices were very reasonable and staff was wonderful to work with. We supplied a couple pictures of what we wanted and asked them to surprise us. :) So happy!!!

We got the chocolate chip chocolate cake, it was so delicious. People always say that it's more important for wedding cakes to look good than to taste good, but our cake was absolutely beautiful AND tasty!

Adam, the cake designer was who we originally met when we went for our cake tasting. He was really kind and sweet and was able to work with what we had asked him to do. During our engagement process, my DH ordered a special made cake for my birthday which was beautiful. On our wedding day, the cake was presented and made exactly how I had asked Adam to make. It wasn't until after the wedding that I found out there was an issue with the cake that my coordinator has taken care before I saw the cake. I had provided Adam with rhinestones to place around each tier of our 3 tier cake. Apparently when the cake was delivered, the rhinestones were placed inside out. Not exactly how I had it envisioned. So thankfully my coordinator caught it in time and had to pull them all out, wash them and replace them again. My recommendation to anyone working with Adam is to be VERY specific as to what you want to avoid issues like that. Other than that, he was very nice to work with.

I loved them!

I think I found them via project wedding. I worked with Adam and he was very helpful and not at all pushy. He made the cake exactly as I asked and it was SO delicious!!! And the price was just right, the best I found in the West LA and Malibu. I had him do a three tiered cake for 100 guests, each tier layered inside with different fillings. See pictures on my profile to see how lovely it was (the flowers were done by my florist, The Flower Lab).

Including delivery, tax, and tip I paid less than $500!

After trying a couple different cake places around Los Angeles, this one came as a recommendation from a close friend. Came round 9am and they had about 4 books of designs to show us as well as several delicious samples to try. They were extremely friendly and the overall cost of our cake (to serve 50-60 people) was VERY VERY VERY reasonable.

I would highly recommend these guys over almost any other specialty bakery in town.

we did many tastings. we tried, cake divas, layers, leda's, rosebud but honestly i believe the cake collection while being the most inexpensive of the bunch was by FAR the most delicious. they also went out of their way to deliver on a sunday evening at exactly 7pm because the hotel was being so inflexable about taking delivery of the cake before then. i would highly reccomend them and ask for anna.

The cake arrived 4 hours later than promised. The frosting was the wrong type of chocolate. That said, the cake was beautiful and perfect in every way--and delicious.
