The Cake lady

I tried cakes at many places around Milwaukee, and either had issues with the service or the taste of the cakes (or even both), and I started to get discouraged until I found The Cake Lady!
You aren't going to go in and pick a picture out of a book when working with Karen! She sat down with me and my fiance and got to know us and our wedding and designed a cake just for us! The cake was not only gorgeous, but delicious as well! It was a hit on our wedding day!
If you do go in for a tasting, be sure to try the lavender cake! It's awesome!

We used this company for our grooms cake and it was AMAZING! My groom always wanted a "Taylor guitar" for his gift, but that just wasn't in the budget at this point : ) So they made a life-size replica and it was gorgeous. It tasted really great, too. I would definitely go with this company!

Karen is fabulous! I kind of knew we'd be hard-pressed to afford her, but she totally understood that we were on a budget and worked really hard to come up with something that fit our price range. Though the cake was a bit of a splurge, I'd say it was totally worth it. We had a beautiful (no, perfect) 2-tier presentation cake and then sheet cake for everyone else. Lavender cake with raspberry preserves, lemon curd, and buttercream icing--a party in my mouth! We also later found out that our top tier was spice cake with vanilla bean pastry cream, which was something we had mentioned before but nixed because it was too expensive. What a wonderful surprise to thaw it out and find she had thrown that in at no extra cost! Karen is super professional and really knows what she is doing--we were impressed from our first meeting and I'd recommend her to anyone.

The Cake Lady was one of my most reliable and flexible vendors. Karen was great to work with and easy to get a hold of. She responded to emails and phone calls quickly, which is one of the most important qualities of a vendor. She was also available if I needed to drop by her shop. Both my husband and I really got along with her well and felt like we've known her forever. As far as the cake goes, it was delicious and extremely creative. My guests couldn't stop talking about how great the cake looked and tasted!! If I ever need a cake for any event, I'm going to get it from The Cake Lady.

We asked Karen to make us a special desert for our wedding day. They turn out great right along with our cake!

I searched the area for someone who could make my dream cake, and The Cake Lady was the only place around that was up for the challenge. It was delivered on time, just as promised, and its beauty stunned everyone!

Absolutely wonderful! I had a specific design in mind, and she created it beautifully. Great tasting cake and great craftsmanship. Well worth every penny and our guests thought so as well!

The cake was beautiful and my husbands favorite part of the wedding. The design was perfect and looked just like the picture we brought in. It tasted wonderful too. Definately try this cake!

Sarah is really sweet and I liked her instantly. I didn't give her much direction. We met only once and I gave her a picture of one cake I liked and she took it from there. Unfortunately, I have no idea how the cake tasted but I remember her sample cakes were delicious.

Wonderful cake design and so yummy. We had a chocolate ganache with chocolate and a lemon with lemon curd - so good. We ordered birthday cakes from Sarah after our wedding and each one is even better than the rest.
