They were very good about making the reservation for my bridal shower, and I was also able to preorder a strawberry cheesecake for my table, but it was expensive! I had also offered to pay the bill, and it was huge! There were twelve of us, and with drinks and shared appetizers the bill was over $460, not including tip. I think what makes me doubt our lunch there, which was nice, was that we did have to wait for the waitress to fill our water glasses, we weren’t all served at the same time, and one friend did not get what she ordered. For the price, I think I would have gone to a more upscale restaurant.

I had a very small wedding shower, with just a few friends. They said for my shower they would take me down Greene Blvd and that we could stop into any store I wanted, and that they would get me a gift at any store. It’s a fun shopping street, especially when your friends say they are paying. We ended up at the Cheesecake Factory. My nutritionist said that I technically wasn’t allowed to eat cheesecake or dairy for the month leading to the wedding day, just because I was on a diet. So we ordered 5 slices of cake, and then we shared the pieces, because technically if you don’t order it, and if it’s not on your plate, then it’s not your calories. I know my bridal shower sounds really boring, that we only went shopping and to the Cheesecake Factory, but the food was great, and I had great people with me, and I always smile when I think of that day.
