Crystal Plaza

We had our daughter's wedding at Crystal Plaza and we were all totally thrilled. From the planning stage with Fred to the wedding itself, everyone and everything was wonderful. Marco, who was in charge of the wedding, is extremely knowledgeable and professional. He always answered any of our questions right away and did everything he could to make the wedding all we hoped it would be. His calm, warm, and friendly manner put us at ease. Leslie, my daughter's bridal assistant, is like a genie. She made us feel like royalty. She anticipated every need my daughter had and took care of it even before my daughter asked. She even hemmed my daughter's bridal gown so she could take her heels off and wear flats to dance -- on the spot!! The entire staff was amazing -- and my guests, especially the people who had never been to Crystal Plaza, could not stop raving about the food, service, and how beautiful everything was.

We held our daughter's afternoon wedding reception at the Crystal Plaza and it has taken us 2 weeks to come down from the clouds! Everything and everyone we worked with was top-notch--we can't say enough about Barry and Marco and the rest of the staff who supported us during the planning process and on the day itself. They made the entire event worry-free and offered numerous suggestions for ensuring that our timing (a mid-morning church service, followed by photo session, then the reception) went smoothly for us and for our guests. Our friends and family raved about the food, the service level and the beautiful ballroom--a work of art itself! Initially we were concerned that the venue might seem a little "over the top" for our daughter and son-in-law (who are very simple and sports-minded people!) but after touring several possible venues they were totally won over by the down-to-earth manner of the Crystal Plaza staff and how accomodating they were to their questions and needs (both live out of state, which could have--but in this case did not--complicate logistics). If we had another child to marry off, we would be back here in a heartbeat!

We went from planning on just getting a license at the courthouse to holding a full wedding on Thursday 4/25 to having the event at the Crystal Plaza on Tuesday the 30th. Monday night I went with my Fiancee and some friends to see a movie, and on Tuesday did some work and even went for ice cream two hours before the wedding. This was because Alan at Crystal Plaza was taking care of everything, even with so late notice, that there was really not much left for us to do.

Rather than the disaster it could've been in less capable hands, here are a couple of the texts, I received the next day: "I had a great time, it was such a beautiful night"; "That was the single most enjoyable evening that just happened to also be a wedding. Shania and I had a very nice time and that's a big deal."

I too hate weddings, and also being the center of attention. Incredibly this was also the nicest, most relaxed wedding I've ever been too. Our attendants, Leslie and Mikail both deserve a raise. They were fantastic, professional and personal simultaneously.

My only regret was the food. We were given a while to eat privately before joining everyone else. We could've stayed longer to eat but left early expecting to be able to continue later. I've never gotten up mid-meal as amazing as this one. Everything was so incredible, I felt like a glutton, sampling each dish on a table filled with so many incredibly delicious foods. I go out to eat a lot at some of the best restaurants in the city and the food was as good, if not better than anything else I've experienced.

I want to thank Alan for an amazing experience. It was a great note to start a marriage on, and I highly recommend you don't take a chance anywhere else.

I can't even put into words how AMAZING Crystal Plaza was for Our wedding 04/25/13. The place, food, and staff were UNBELIEVABLE and I still have people calling me telling me how great everything was. You Can't compared to other venues You get what you pay for and you cannot compare any other place to the Crystal Plaza. We worked with Nella when booking the wedding and on the day of the wedding, I was with Leslie SHE'S IS AMAZING!!!!!!! the whole night. They were the absolute BEST!!!! Whatever you needed, they were there for you. They were so professional, kind, and did everything and anything to make our day perfect. I cannot thank them enough for everything. Overall, there is not one thing I could complain about. Crystal Plaza is by far the best wedding venue in NJ!! There are not enough words on how amazing the Crystal Plaza made our special day. Fred was amazing in assuring us everything would be amazing and he hit the nail right on the head.. it was everything I dreamed of and more. I come from a very large Italian family where food is everything at a wedding. Most people get married at the same places because they know the food is good. Not being able to taste the food at Crystal Plaza was a huge risk but I assure you it is amazing! A month later and everyone is still talking about how amazing it was ! Nella was beyond amazing from the minute we walked in to the minute we walked out everything ran perfect! She is literally the best out there! And Leslie, where do I start. She fed me in between pictures while Nella spoon fed me tea since it was chilly outside. Lesie assured my lip gloss was always on and patted both me and my husband with cold rags while dancing.Our sweatheart table was alway filled with food and our cups with drinks. My family was in awe with everything, everyone kept telling us it was the party of the century, even the band made an annoucement that it was the party of the year! The Crystal Party knows how to make everything perfect and better then you could ever imagine! I hope someone in my family has a party there soon so i can enjoy the food! Thank you Crystal Plaza for making my day more then I could ever dream of.

I couldn't be happier that we chose this venue for our wedding. We looked at numerous other reception halls and Crystal Plaza blew all of them away. From our first meeting with Barry, I knew we were in good hands. They treat you like royalty as soon as you walk in. Our wedding day was ABSOLUTELY perfect!!! The whole staff is amazing. A special thank you to Barry, Nella, Leslie, Mikael, Eric, and Marco. Barry and Nella were wonderful; they were so professional and helped organize the entire wedding. Leslie is the BEST bridal attendant ever!!! She made me feel like the most important person in the world that day. She was by my side the entire day and helped me put on my dress, retouch my makeup, make sure I ate and always had a drink, and anything else you could possibly think of!!! Numerous guests said it was the best wedding they have ever been to! The service is top notch. The food is amazing, and guests can order seconds! I highly recommend the ice bar, it was a huge hit! The place is truly magical. I wish I could relive the whole day again. Crystal Plaza and their staff made my wedding dreams come true. I'm telling you, you will fall in love with this venue!!!! I can't thank you all enough!!!!!

Can't say enough good things about the crystal plaza!!!!!! It was a dream come true. I did not have to worry about one thing!!!! The service is a 20 on a scale of 1 to 10!!!!! We loved everything and everyone there. I've been to many weddings and no other venue compared!!! Although we didn't eat much at our wedding everyone else raveddddd about the food!!!!

Where to even begin... we just had our wedding reception last night (3/10/13) at Crystal Plaza and we were definitely blown away by the level of service and professionalism that the entire staff had provided for us. We reserved our date with Fred and he truly was a pleasure to work with. He ensured us nothing but the very best and that is exactly what we received. I wanted to take this opportunity to express our gratitude and appreciation to our Maitre'd Nella, Bridal Attendant Leslie, Mikael, Marco, and Kevin. You all certainly know how to set the standards in the industry. We have to say that we have never seen anything like this before; everything from the overwhelming food presentations, ice sculptures with our custom monogram that came out perfectly, the lighting, patting us down with cold towels while we were dancing, constantly freshening up Marissa with gloss, the beautiful ballroom, always being by our side each time we turned around, and I can go on and on.

This was an unforgettable experience that will forever live in our hearts. We received numerous calls and texts early this morning from friends and family telling us that it was the most amazing wedding they have ever been to and I hope that all of the potential brides and grooms who are looking for a venue to look no further. Thank you, thank you, thank you one million times to all of you and we hope to see you again in the near future.

Words cannot express how amazing the Crystal Plaza is. We could not have dreamed of a more perfect venue to have our wedding at. Everything was impeccable - the service, the food, the responsiveness, the professionalism, the space. Our guests were treated like royalty and ate like kings! It's been 3 weeks since our wedding and our guests are still raving about Crystal Plaza. Many keep telling us it's "the best wedding they've ever been to" and wish every wedding they attend could be held at this venue!

My husband and I got married at the Crystal Plaza on 12/22 and it was such an amazing experience from beginning to end. From our first meeting with Allan, we were treated like part of the Crystal Plaza family and this great feeling followed us through the entire planning process. There are not enough great things to say about our maitre d', Marco, and our bridal attendant, Leslie. They were both on top of their game the entire night and the event went just as we had planned. Leslie was amazing!!!!

If I could have a second, third, and fourth wedding, I will still use Allan Janoff and Crystal Plaza. No stone was unturned, the bridal attendant and maitre 'd were quintessentially professional and tended to our every need--even those we didn't know we had! I cannot sing the praises of the Crystal Plaza staff and catering enough.

I don't even know where to start because Crystal Plaza blew us away on every single aspect of my wedding. Every detail was thought out and executed with so much attention that I really felt like me and my (now) husband were the most important people in the world that day. From the moment we exited our limo, the staff was prepared to assist us in any way possible and their professionalism and friendliness continued throughout the evening. We cannot say enough about the quality and amount of food for the cocktail hour and dinner. We have received endless amount of compliments from family and friends since the wedding on how amazing the food was at The Crystal Plaza. It's hard to describe how incredibly impressed we were with the Crystal Plaza. From our first meeting with Barry, to each communication up until the wedding day, Barry made the process incredibly pleasant. Our wedding day went off without a hitch. We are of Portuguese descent and really wanted to have some Portuguese food for appetizers and desserts, as well as Portuguese wine to accompany our dinner. All we had to do was send Nella a list of appetizers we were looking to have, as well as desserts, and they included them on our wedding day. They were also able to accommodate the wine request. We even had a 'leitao'!

The service is top notch. The food is amazing, and guests can order seconds. Many brides and grooms say they don't eat much on their wedding day, but Nella and our amazing wedding attendants were at our side the whole night taking care of us, and particularly my (bride) bridal attendant was touching up my lip gloss all night, making sure we ate a little bit of everything.

Thank you to everyone for making me and my husband have the best wedding we could have asked for. We are forever appreciative for everything that you did to make our wedding so perfect!

I was so pleased with the reception at The Crystal Plaza in Livingston, NJ. Our guests were blown away with everything from the decor, to the food, to the ice sculptures, to the Sweet Dreams Canteen truck at the very end. The service was impeccable and my husband and I had a dedicated "Bulter-ette" for the entire night to be sure we ate, had everything we needed and ensured we could just take it all in. I wish we could do the night all over again! It was truly spectalular!

I don't even know where to start with my review. EVERYTHING, every last detail was just PERFECT! I woke up the day after the wedding and turned to my husband and asked if it was a dream. Every last thing was just perfect and so much more than I ever expected! We knew right when we went to see the Crystal Plaza for the first time that that was the venue where we were going to be married. In fact, it was the only venue that made me cry when we were going over everything. That is how I knew! From our first meeting, to the final meetings to go over all of the details, to all of the email or phone communications in between, everything was seamless. Fred was so helpful and Nella was AMAZING and Leslie was the BEST! Nella coordinated every last thing and checked on my hubby and I all throughout the day just to make sure everything was how we wanted it. Leslie took the saying "It's the Bride's day" to a whole other level! She was so accommodating and helped me with my dress, veil, and bouquet and even helped us try some of the food from the cocktail hour since we were taking pics. She patted me down with cool towels since I was dancing the day away!! Their professionalism and presentation is unbelievable! Our guests are still raving about the food. The food was AMAZING!!! Every last thing was to die for! Our cake was beautiful! With little direction and just a picture and some bling from me they nailed it! We also used their food truck at the end. It was a HUGE HIT! The Crystal Plaza offers so many things so there is something for every bride! We highly recommend the Crystal Plaza and we are so excited to go back again for a friend’s wedding in a few months. We would not change a thing about our day, everything was PERFECT and we want to Thank You!!

Working with Fred throughout our engagement, we planned the wedding of our dreams, and our perfect night was executed by Nella who ensured we had nothing to worry about but enjoying ourselves. Our attendant Leslie went above and beyond in every possible way. My husband’s bowtie was perfect for every photo, my lips were freshly glossed, and she brought us a sample of each and every type of food being served to ensure we were able to experience all of the delicious items we were offering to our guests. Thanks to the staff at Crystal Plaza, we can say that we truly enjoyed every minute of our wedding: greeting our guests, experiencing our cocktail hour, enjoying the food, keeping primped for pictures, and having an amazing time on the dance floor- complete with hand-delivered cold towels for cooling off!

An entire review could be devoted to the food that was served. The extravagance of the cocktail hour was incredible. This theme continued in the ballroom with our amazing appetizer sampler platter and our guests ordering from a menu offering five different entrees to choose from. For those guests that managed to leave room for dessert, the Venetian set up was a dream come true for guests of all ages- complete with a chocolate fountain and fresh cannolis.

It has been over a month since our wedding and the accolades from our guests are continuing to pour in. Attendees are raving that our wedding-from the decor, to the food, to the staff-was by far the best wedding they have ever attended. From the moment we booked our wedding date until the very last song played by our band, our entire engagement experience and wedding day was made perfect by Fred and his team at the Crystal Plaza.

The Crystal Plaza at Livingston is the very BEST wedding venue in New Jersey! I had my wedding there last Saturday and they worked incredibly hard to make that day the most memorable and drama free. From the moment my guests arrived they were greeted by a wonderful staff catering to every one of our needs. The Maitre'D, Marco is a genuine kind person who works hand in hand to answer any question and fulfill any wish concerning your wedding day. He answers your emails immediately and is so flexible with allowing you to make your wedding day be all about who you are! Fred Fog is also FANTASTIC! He is on call almost all the time even using his personal cell phone to reach you as soon as you need to speak to him. He understands the stress of planning a wedding and is extremely sincere with pricing and always puts the customers benefit above all. He treated my husband and I with the utmost respect and consideration, which in the business world is of much value. If you are looking for a wedding venue that makes the planning process easy and truly enjoyable the crystal plaza and their staff is the way to go.

The Crystal Plaza was the perfect venue for my wedding. We searched near and far for a place to score perfect 10's for us and this was definitely it! They had a ridiculous amount of choices for food and it just made our heads spin! We worked with Fred and he was just so friendly and accommodating. Everything was asked was done without a question. The entire staff went above and beyond! Nella was always by our side the day of the wedding and my bridal attendant Leslie was there for me whenever I turned my head. Our ceremony was supposed to be outside and everything was setup and then it started to rain minutes before the ceremony was supposed to begin. The entire staff worked quickly to put together the room upstairs and to have everything run smoothly and it did. The guests rant and rave about the cocktail hour to this day about the incredible amount of food and not to mention good food! Michelin star rated worthy. The setup was out of a magazine (the type of bridal periodicals you open and wish to one day have at your own wedding). There were ice sculptures and custom monograms engraved everywhere. We had a beautiful tequila bar all carved from ice and a martini bar out of ice as well. The whole layout was perfection. Not to mention our guests had a choice of 6 for dinner. The whole party was coordinated to perfection. Nella worked with the band to make sure every minute of the evening was accounted for. Our cake was unbelievable and I was able to help design it with Crystal Plaza. At the end of the nigh as if it wasn't enough food they rolled out a candy truck for our guests and a venetian table and a cigar bar. our guests were floored at the amount of quality food and dessert we had. everything tasted delicious and everything we as smoothly as possible. I hope the Crystal Plaza will be around for another hundred years so that my future children and grandchildren can experience such an amazing wedding as well.

It has been almost 3 weeks since my wedding and I am still receiving so many compliments! Everyone LOVED the venue and thought the food was extraordinary. No one left the wedding hungry, that's for sure. All of the staff at Crystal Plaza really go above and beyond. We booked with Fred Fogg, and he had me feeling confident in my venue choice from the very beginning. He never said no, or told me the way my wedding should be (trust me, we visited many venues and there were quite a few that thought they knew better than me how my wedding should be!).
On my wedding day and the days leading up to it, Marco, the head maitre d, could not have been more helpful. On the night of my wedding, Marco and Leslie were so attentive to our every need. They even packed up some extra dinners for us to take home, which was nice since we were too busy that night to really sit and enjoy our dinner.
I have not one complaint about the Crystal Plaza. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing.

Crystal Plaza is not only a beautiful place. The staff on every level is attentive, helpful, genuinely courteous and extremely efficient. The food was unbelievably delicious and aesthetically appealing as well. The owners were extremely honest and delivered on everything contracted. Hotel accommodations are less than five minutes away which makes Crystal Plaza a very convenient venue. I cannot praise this venue enough!!!!,

My wedding was on August 29, 2012 at Crystal Plaza. They made my wedding a fairytale. I was so happy with everything! Marco, one of our maitre de and Nina, my bridal assistant were INCREDIBLE!!!!! They guided us through everything.

If you are looking for the best venue in the state, this is it! Aside from being stunningly beautiful with the chandeliers and garden, the SERVICE IS OUTSTANDING. The food is the best quality that you will find at any wedding, and anything needed is provided.

If I could give the Crystal Plaza a higher score than a 5, I definitely would. The Crystal Plaza made my wedding day a dream come true. People told us it was like a fairy tale, and it truly was! The service that the staff provided from the very first meeting with Fred Fogg to my bridal attendant Leslie and our Maitre D, Nella was TOP NOTCH. I have honestly never experienced such attention and care in dealing with any other businesses. I am sooooo grateful I picked them to have our wedding because in every aspect, they gave 100%. We are Russian so they prepared amazing Russian dishes but then also incorporated classical American cuisine. The food was SPECTACULAR! i absolutely LOVE this venue.

The Crystal Plaza helped us have our dream wedding. The grounds for outdoor ceremony were breathtaking and the food was phenomenal. We had so many compliments about everything from our guests. Barry was so easy to work with and was always there to answer any questions we had. It was a magical day!

I don't know where to even begin!!! My experience with the Crystal Plaza was nothing but amazing. From the time we stepped into the venue to look at it til the next day after my wedding they treated us like king and queen. The day of my wedding it rained sadly but I was reassured the chapel upstairs would look amazing and it did!!!! The food was incredible all my friends and family are still talking about it and they gave us all the extra food the next day !! Some of my family had 2 different main courses the food was endless and I was left speechless. Leslie the bridal attendant was a doll and helped all the bridesmaids with their problems with there dresses she sewed them ALL!! Marco was outstanding he gave my husband a brand new pair of shoes to borrow bc the rentals broke , it was simply great!!! If you are looking for a ballroom like exquisite service venue this is it!! They are amazing, I have only wonderful things to say about the Crystal Plaza , I wish I could do it again!!!

My wedding was absolutely fabulous at the Crystal Plaza. The food was unbelievable, and I had a lot of very discerning guests from France who were wowed. The level of service was incredible, Maitre D Nella made the day completely worry-free for us. The staff was very flexible and accomodating, as well as being detail-oriented and highly professional. The food was absolutely perfect, there was so much food during our cocktail hour, the martini bar is a must! There were so many choices, hors devours were constantly passed, drinks were endless, and everything was delicious. During the main courses everything continued to be perfect. thanks and appreciation to the Crystal Plaza. Besides the venue being absolutly beautiful! The food was amazing. The coctail hour /and desert hour was like nothing you will ever see anywhere else. The food was not only plentiful but absolutely delicious... The MOST impressive part of the Crystal Plaza was the staff..Marco our Matre'd and Leslie and the entire staff was professional, personable and will do anything for you....I have never in my life been to a wedding where the staff handled things the way they did at the crystal plaza...They helped you with every single detail...My son wanted to have the ceremony outside, with rain just passing through and a threat of rain

He made us feel completely relaxed knowing everything was under control...My son and daughter in law had the wedding of their dreams. Service and food was extraordinary. Barry was easy to work with in the scheduling and initial planning of the wedding. Maitre'D Marco was attentive to every detail and ensured the entire wedding ran smoothly. Bridal Attendant Lesley was at the brides beck and call at every moment; even going so far as to bring mango juice and bananas for our boy just prior to the ceremony. The food is amazing, and the tequila bar is a must. Definitely recommend the Crystal Plaza.

The Crystal Plaza was AMAZING!!! All our family and friends tell us it was the best wedding they have ever been to. It was months ago and they are still talking about it and how it was a millionaires wedding. Even our most critical family and friends (which are few and never have anything positive to say) approached us, to our surprise, to praise everything and tell us what a wonderful time they had.
Our ceremony and reception took place on site. The facility, staff, service, and food were impeccable! From the moment I stepped into this venue until the day I had my wedding, I did not have a single complaint.
The landscaping and architecture of the facility are dazzling. Lush greens filled the backdrop of our ceremony while the interior seems as though it was built to please a modern day King and Queen. Both caused our pictures and videos to come out magnificently.
The food and drinks were gourmet, delicious, top shelf, and offered in abundance. All of our guests from the finest connoisseurs with highly trained pallets to the most unrefined coach potatoes who only want to eat burgers and fries raved about the taste, quality, and quantities.
The day of my wedding the maître d’ and the staff moved like ninjas, quick, quiet, and efficient. Out of nowhere they would show up to deliver something that was needed then upon completing their task they would return to the background to fulfill their higher purpose of making sure everything was running smoothly. More specifically they anticipated our needs as well as our guests before anyone even had the chance to make the request. This was our experience and has been repeatedly reported to us from everyone that attended. It seems like they have perfected the art of service.
I can’t praise The Crystal Plaza enough. After a year of visiting various venues as well as many years of attending weddings of various friends, I believe it’s one of the best places in NJ to have a wedding.

My husband and I and all of our guests are still raving about our amazing wedding at the Crystal Plaza, 4/7/12. I wish I could relive the entire night all over again. The food, décor, the service was just incredible. The Crystal Plaza really went above and beyond and made sure our day so amazing. We, and all of our guests, will never forget this day. From the moment we arrived, Nella who is fantastic and attentive , greeted us and really made us feel like royalty. She coordinated EVERYTHING and made sure we had everything, that my guests had everything they needed. I can honestly say that because of her and my bridal attendant Leslie, I didn’t worry about a single thing and I was able to enjoy the entire night. One of my favorite memories, and there were so many of them, was when Nella took my husband and I to see the ballroom and cocktail room. I will never ever forget that feeling when I saw the ballroom and saw how beautiful it was. I stood there thinking “wow this is our and the crystal plaza made it happen”. Nella took us to see the cocktail room and I just could not believe the amount of food. And the service? EXCEPTIONAL!!!! Our bridal attendants were very attentive and made sure that my husband and I were eating and trying the foods. I had someone feeding me what I thought was the most delicious lobster ever. I mean who stands there with a plate and hand feeds you. I truly felt like royalty. The best advice Nella had for me was to change into a dress and join everyone during the cocktail hour and that’s exactly what I did. My husband and I were able to greet everyone, enjoy some of the yummy foods. After that I changed back into my wedding gown for the reception. Leslie, my bridal attendant, was there every step of the way making sure I was zipped, clipped, looked great.

During the reception, Nella and my bridal attendants always made sure that we had enough food and drinks and they made sure we ate. We had so much food at our own table. We tried the filet mignon, Chilean sea bass, cakes, sweets, champagne, wines… the list goes on. We were even patted down with wet cloths while we were dancing. I have never ever in my life been treated like this before. Like a Queen!!

I cannot forget Fred Fogg, who we booked our wedding with. He is amazing and as promised made sure we got everything we wanted. We had lots of food, monogrammed ice bars – martini, tequila, seafood and of course the sushi bar which was completely made of ice along with a sushi chef dressed in traditional garb. Words cannot even begin to describe how fabulous our wedding was. My family and guests were blown away and told me that they’ve never seen anything like this before. One guest even told me that they could not top what the Crystal Plaza did. There were a variety of stations that were all delicious, seafood with fresh lobster and shrimp, sliders, guacamole!!!! I’ve never seen anything like this at a wedding before and I’ve been to tons of them.

Every penny spent here was worth it and I would do it all over again if I could. Again, the staff, service, food, Nella… just unbelievable. If I could, I would call them every day to let them know how appreciative and grateful we are for all that they’ve done for us. I HOPE that one day we’ll get invited a wedding at the Crystal Plaza. Ladies/guys this is the place you need to book for your wedding.

Words can't describe how special The Crystal Plaza made our wedding. From the moment we arrived, Nella and Leslie made my husband and I feel like a King and Queen. We have both been to our fair share of weddings, as well as in our fair share of weddings and I can tell you that there is not a bridal attendant around like Leslie. She is truly one of a kind. She had me sold when she bustled my dress in about 30 seconds and taught me how to go to the bathroom in my dress easily in about two minutes (by the end of the night we had it down to a science). She constantly re-applied my lip gloss so that my pictures remained perfect throughout the night. She wiped my husband and I down with cold wet clothes throughout the night, especially while dancing. And the most amazing thing....she made sure we both ate at our own wedding (in fact, after cocktail hour I was so full from eating that I could barely touch food for the rest of the night). Two of my favorite memories of the day were when Nella took my husband I first into the cocktail hour room before cocktail hour started to view the room all set up. Then she took us into the reception room to do the same thing. The memories of seeing "our wedding" and how it all looked is something I will never forget. Our family and friends have not stopped talking about how amazing our wedding was. From the food, to the decor and to the amazing service that The Crystal Plaza supplied. I cannot say enough good things about this place and if you're a bride looking for a Fairy Tale wedding....Look no further than The Crystal Plaza. They are willing to work with you on price and they are worth every penny.

Crystal Plaza is the most amazing venue in New Jersey! The ENTIRE staff from the planning stages of our wedding until the end of the event at 2 a.m. is professional, warm,and attentive. They will exceed all your expectations. The food is amazing,delicious, plentiful,and served with the utmost attention to every detail. There is no request that is a problem. The individual butlers provided for the bride and groom were phenomenol. There was no need for a "dresser" for the bride. "Leslie" took care of every detail from the application of the headpiece, lacing the dress, and bustling after the ceremony. This place is amazing! The facility itself is impeccably kept and beautifully decorated. The wait staff is professional, courteous, well-groomed, and dedicated. The administrative staff goes above and beyond, ensuring that your event is just spectacular. Last, but certainly not least, the food is outstanding!

What can I say that hasn't already been said? The CP is the most outstanding place to get married in New Jersey. The owner Alan Janof has quite the personality and when you meet him or anyone on his team you will feel like all of your dreams just came true. #1- EVERY picure you take will be amazing because there are so many rich details in this mansion that will make you look specatacular.
#2 - We saved a ton of money on flowers by using the elegant candelabras provided as our table centerieces.
#3 - The Chapel on premises made it easier for our guests not having to drive from another place and enabled us to have an organized timeline for the start of the ceremony.

Just to let the brides know, I was the groom and am leaving this review. From day one of working with Jay and the Crystal Plaza (CP), I knew our wedding would be great.

What I didn't know is how much more amazing it would on the actual day. We were married this past Saturday, 1/28/12. Everyone has that "party" in their head before it happens...CP produced a party 10x that of which I could even imagine. My family is still getting phone calls about how amazing the food was, gorgeous the place was, how amazing the night was.

I can say without hesitation that Jay helped us with vendors (our band The Rhythm Shop), he navigated us to the best choices through their amazing menu, and helped us create the best flow of events throughout the night.

I honestly cannot say enough about my wedding aside from I am upset it's over. Now, I am hoping to be a guest at a wedding at Crystal Plaza so that I can enjoy all the food again and venue as a whole. Go see/speak/book now, you will not regret it.

Oh and Leslie the bridal attendant, she's the most amazing woman ever who makes sure the bride and groom are spot on, not only helping during pictures, but throughout the whole night. CP and staff, A+++++

WE LOVE THE CRYSTAL PLAZA!!!!! Our wedding at the Crystal Plaza was a dream come true! My husband and I got married on January 20, 2012 and from start to finish our guests were treated like royalty and my husband and I were spoiled to death! The staff is absolutely phenomenal! We booked our wedding with Barry, who is so amazing to work with. Nella coordinated our wedding and did a FANTASTIC job with everything... Trust her opinion 100% because she knows her stuff! Leslie was my bridal assistant on the day of, and I kept calling her my angel beause that is exactly what she is! Anything we needed she was there with it, before we even realized we needed it! Sewing my bridesmaids dress that needed to be tightened, tissues perfectly tucked into my bouquet in case the tears of joy started during the ceremony, reapplying my lipstick ALLLLL night long, fixing my dress and veil to be pretty all night, cold cloths on the dance floor to cool my husband and I down, and anything and everything you can imagine ... she was there! :) Our friends and family can never stop raving about the beauty of the rooms, the amazing and ENDLESS food, the monogrammed ICE BAR was a HUUUUGE hit (this is so necessary!), and the service was TOPS! I can obviously go on and on and ON about our experience at the Crystal Plaza but you should really see for yourself! I can only hope one of our friends has a wedding there SOON so we can go back ASAP!!! <3

My wife and I had our wedding reception at the Crystal Plaza, and could not be happier with how it turned out. To say that it surpassed our expectations would be an understatement. As soon as we walked in to the Crystal Plaza we were treated like family. The staff from the owner Allan Janoff to our maitre d to the bridal attendant took such great care to make sure every single aspect of our wedding was perfect. The cocktail hour was incredible and offered so much food that some of our guests thought that is was the actual meal. Dinner was even better. The appetizers, main course and dessert were all delicious. Our guests were even offered seconds if they were still hungry. I have never heard of that happening at a wedding, and think it is indicative of how the Crystal Plaza goes above and beyond. When we walked into the room we were blown away, my wife even got teary eyed! The lighting, huge ice bar in the room and the entire setting surpassed our expectations. As our guests were leaving they set up dunkin donuts and coffee in the foyer - it was such a hit!! We attended a wedding there two years ago and it was the best wedding we have ever been too - when we got engaged there was no question that we wanted to have our wedding there also. We highly recommend the Crystal Plaza and feel so blessed that we able to celebrate our wedding at their venue.

If I had one word to describe the Crystal Plaza it would be AMAZING!  From the moment we set foot inside and met with Nella and Barry we knew this is where we wanted our wedding to be held on December 3rd, 2011.  They made us feel at home and helped us tremendously with our Italian wedding.  We both come from large Italian families and they are definitely a tough crowd to please.  Nella worked with us and helped us create a cocktail hour and a reception that was beyond what we imagined.  Needless to say, our family was amazed and very satisfied with all the different stations....homemade mozzarella station, raw bar, pasta station, broccoli rabe, fried olives, fried fish...a feast for Italians!   The staff was outstanding, professional and courteous.  Not only were we taken care of, but our guests were very pleased with the service.  They truly made me feel like a princess for the day and it's a day I will never forget.  Friends and family can't stop talking about the food, service and fun they had. I have Nella, my bridal attendant and the staff at the Crystal Plaza to thank for making our wedding day a most memorable one.  THANK YOU

We looked at many reception facilities when planning our daughter's wedding, but immediately felt the Crystal Plaza had something special.

Our daughter's wedding on November 18, 2011 was nothing short of perfection. Fred, Nella and the entire staff helped us through every step of the way. Every question was answered and every effort was made to make sure the bride and groom (and their parents) enjoyed this special occasion.

Whether it was input on the menu, Leslie assisting in bustling the gown or addressing the food allergy concerns of several guests - they went above and beyond.

Guests are still calling to tell us how fabulous the evening was and we've heard more than a few people comment, "That's the best wedding I have ever been to." We think that statement says it all!

The Crystal Plaza in Livingston, NJ was a dream come true for my 11-11-11 wedding! I couldn't have been happier with the appearance, food, and service provided by the Crystal Plaza. Just to name a few people-Barry, Nella, Leslie, and Marco were so wonderful! Not to mention the other staff members working that night. Family and friends are telling me the service that they received was exceptional. The Crystal Plaza was interested in the details which was wonderful because as a Bride that's what I was interested in-setting my wedding a part from the others and the Crystal Plaza helped me do that.

Nella sat with my family and worked out the details. Marco and Barry greeted my family and I days before the wedding and made sure that everything was ready. Nella and Leslie were so attentive the night of my wedding making sure my husband and I were taken care of. They made sure that my family and guests were taken care of as well.

Everyone LOVED all the food-so many choices and delicious. My husband and I were able to eat because Nella and Leslie made sure of it!

The measure of true excellence is the ability to perform at the highest levels of professionalism and deliver the highest level of quality under the most challenging of circumstances. The entire Crystal Plaza staff demonstrated remarkable calm, confidence and professionalism on our wedding day to ensure that in spite of the aftermath of the rare October snow storm, downed trees and power outages, our wedding was perfect, absolutely perfect!

We watched as the staff prepared the room for the party without lights. The entire staff was poised, calm and getting ready for the party...as though it was business as usual. The staff were assuring me all was fine--not even a bead of sweat...(although it was still cold in the Crystal Plaza without heat). I was worried, but their confidence calmed me down, even though I now know that behind the scenes there were Herculean efforts underway to make sure the wedding took place.

Words cannot express how thankful that we all are. The truth is, we know the CP could have cancelled the affair as we have heard many venues did.

Put aside the extraordinary situation, our phones have been ringing off the hook. The food, the service, the beauty of the Crystal and of course the spirituality of the wedding made this a remarkable occasion. Everyone has said that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. It was everything that we had hoped for....the physical beauty (the place and the food) combined with the spirituality and spirit of all the guests combined to make it an unforgettable occasion. Everyone was moved by the whole experience and the beauty and the warm that was made all the more special by the wonderful staff at the Crystal Plaza.

When we came to Crystal Plaza and were greeted with such warmth and hospitality we knew this was the place for our dream wedding. The staff and service were impeccable. The food was delicious. Absolutely perfect venue in every way.

Fred, who helped plan our event was superb. Every promise was delivered. He helped us design an incredible food menu that people are still talking about.

Now lets talk about my favorite person, Nella. A true angel and an amazing woman that will forever hold a special place in my heart. She made sure our wedding day went by smoothly and handled it so professionally. She made sure my husband and I got fed while we were taking pictures. She even wiped us with wet towels while we were sweating on the dance floor, which I have never seen before. When she saw I took off my wedding shoes she ran to the bridal suite without waiting for me to say something and got my flats. As my family recalls what a spectacular event we had at Crystal Plaza, my mother and mother in law and myself still talk about how amazing Nella was and what she did for us that day.

My bridal attendant, Leslie was a sweetheart. She stayed with me the whole day. She fed me as I took pictures, reapplied lipgloss, helped me to go to the bathroom, and was great company while I sat in my bridal suite during cocktail hour.

So to sum it all Crystal Plaza made our dream fairtytale wedding come true!!!!

If there were more stars for service, Crytsal Plaza should be rated a 6 out of 5. Their service is absolutely impeccable. They advertise they have 1 server for every 4 guests but this is 100% what they do. As a bride, they insured I had a drink in my hand at all times, that we had food, that my dress was properly bustled, and that I was able to see all the beautiful parts of the wedding without missing anything important. My guests raved about their service as wel. We had a fall wedding and they had a pumpkin mash that was to die for! They brought more to our guests!
Marco and Nella listened to my ideas of wanting a true, traditional Italiian wedding and they delivered. I cannot say enough about the Crystal Plaza. They truly don't need the advertising as they are well known but I think it is impt to note that they deliver what they promise. You do have to pay a pretty penny, but it is well spent. They are like family there and once you book with them, they treat you as part of their...

On, October 16th I had the most amazing wedding I could ever dream of. I am beyond satisfied that I choose The Crystal Plaza as my venue. They are truly the best at what they do and you can tell they are one big family and everyone who works there is so friendly and nice. I have to give a big thank you to Fred, Nella, Leslie, Ruvin, Allan, Marco, Eric, Leahann, and Cindy!!! Fred was there for me every step of the way throughout my entire year of planning. He knew my vision and we clicked right away. Nella, Leslie and Ruvin treated me like a princess my entire wedding day. From the moment we arrived at The Crystal Plaza there was food set up outside by the ceremony for my bridal party to munch on while we took pictures. Fred, Nella, Leslie and Ruvin were waiting for us as we pulled in. Our ceremony was outdoors and around it they have beautiful greenery and flowers so you really don’t have to go anywhere else to take pictures. My cocktail hour was incredible, from the unbelievable ice sculptures to the massive amounts of food. Everyone has told me there service was top notch. The ballroom is to die for! The numerous chandeliers look beautiful in pictures. From start to finish everything was perfect. I am so happy I choose the Crystal Plaza for my wedding. My family and friends all told me it was the best wedding they have ever been too. They all said the food was delicious and the dessert plate was the coolest dessert they ever saw at a wedding. I loved my wedding and would love to have another party at the Crystal Plaza in the future. I hope that one of my friends chooses the Crystal Plaza for their wedding so I can attend another party there one day.

It's hard to put into words how AMAZING the Crystal Plaza is because they left me speechless!! My fiance and I held our venue to a high standard, and they surpassed it. The attention to detail is amazing!! Fronm the moment I arrived to the very end, I felt like a princess. The food is DELICIOUS, the grounds and bulding are very well maintained, and the service is top notch. From my attendant following me throughout the cocktail hour with a tray of food (and feeding me!) to make sure I ate, to our Maitre'd (Nella is the best!!) wiping us with cold towels on the dance floor; whatever I needed was taken care of right away by my attendant Lesly(such a sweetheart!!) even before I needed it. If there was a rating higher than 5 I would give it to the Crystal Plaza...they go above and beyond in everything they do. The Crystal Plaza will forever hold a special place in my heart for giving us the wedding of our dreams! I wouldn't change a thing!!

Where do I even begin with reviewing the Crystal Plaza? There are so many positive things to be said about this place, the staff, the food and the overall experience. From the start of our wedding planning, Alan Janoff was incredible to work with and was completely focused on making myself, my husband and our respective families happy. Any question or thought I had I was able to email Alan, Jason or Nella and receive a quick response right away. Once we arrived to the Crystal Plaza we were greeted by Nella who kept the wedding on track all day and was so fantastic and a true professional. Leslie was also an incredible bridal attendant going above and beyond, helping my sister with my bustle, wiping us down with cold towels, and even feeding us!
The Crystal Plaza really goes above and beyond to surpass your expectations. Our guests were truly speechless at the service they experienced as well as the food! The food is so delicious its as if you are eating at a high end restaurant. We highly recommend the Crystal Plaza and will never forget the most extrodinary day of our lives thanks to them.

We had the most classy wedding we could have ever imagined. The compliments keep trickling in. We met with Barry, co-owner of Crystal Plaza: He was timely, sincere, professional, offered great tips and recommendations (which we used), and we couldn't be happier with the results. The place itself is gorgeous. It's gilded and pristine. It's a former mansion and a ONE-wedding-only estabishment. The ladies' room is a "picture must" (you'll see). The balcony over which to toss the bouquet is an excellent touch. The ice bar and ice sculptures are just the right amount of sass-meets-sophistication. The grand room is so beautiful, you do not need flowers. We had them, but it wasn't necessary that is how gorgeous the room is. The lighting changes color throughout the night, which sets a good pace for the evening, and looks remarkable in pictures. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING is the FOOD and over that every one is still RAVING. The cocktail hour has ELEVEN stations. OVER FLOWING. It is impossible not to like this food (and that is coming from an Italian). We also had four entree selections, written on beautiful cards, all courtesy of Crystal Plaza. Each table has at least two waiters, so your guests will NOT be hanging out at the bar getting drinks (although the bar was cool (ice!), they will be on the dance floor dancing. The staff is attentive. Nella knows what she is doing and she will be with you the entire night. Final point that sums up how Class Act of an establishment this is -- my parents' friends had their daughter's wedding at Crystal Plaza and the waiter recognized them. The couple mentioned how much they enjoyed the guacamole at the Mexican cocktail station. The waiter brought them some to take home. Thanks Barry, Nella, and Staff at Crystal Plaza.

We cannot explain how perfect and amazing the Crystal Plaza was for our wedding. The building and grounds are beautiful and so well kept-you truly feel like you have your own private mansion for the evening. From the first time we met Jason we enjoyed working with him. He made the entire process so easy and everytime we called or visited prior to our day someone was available to help and anwser any question we had. They offer you so many options that will allow you to make your night unique and different from other weddings. The night was aboslutley perfect--the cocktail hour was amazing and had even more food we even expected. The ballroom was beautiful and the new lighting they put it made the room even more wonderful. My husband and I had the pleasure of Leslie and Rovin's company all night. From the moment I stepped out of the limo Leslie was by my side the entire night and wouldn't let me do a single thing. She was such a big part of why the night went so well. She provided me drinks during our photographs, managed to bustle a very complicated train in just 5 minutes so my mom didnt have to, made food for me to eat so I didnt have to stop talking with guests and just made sure everything was taken care. She is incredibly good at her job and is one of the reasons why the Crystal Plaza prides themelves on such great service. Rovin was just as outstanding and was always there when you needed something, extremely polite and kind. The entire staff at the CP is one of the reasons why it is such a great place to get married. The entire wedding ran so smoothly and all my husband and I had to worry about was having a great time. They packed all of our belongings up at the end of night, which I know I would have forgotten some things, and truly took care of everyone in my family from the moment we got there to the moment we all left. I'll never forget my wedding day and I owe a huge part of that to the Crystal Plaza and their staff.

I cannot put into words how amazing our wedding was. From the moment we walked into Crystal Plaza on the day of our wedding, we knew everything was going to absolutely perfect. Lesley and Danielle the bridal attendants were fabulous. They were right behind me every step of the way. Jason was excellent, he was so organized and made sure everything ran smoothly. Our guests have not stopped raving about how beautiful and delicious the cocktail hour was. The ice sculpture was great! The dinner presentation was beautiful and delicious as well. Everything was done just as we had discussed. It was a wonderful party. Our guests have told us, " it was the best wedding they have ever been too" and "it was the wedding of the year." I want to thank everyone at Crystal Plaza who made my Wedding a dream come true. from the minute I arrived to the minute I left every detail, was tended and catered to. the staff is absolutely the BEST!!!! My husband and I are in awe of what an amazing night we had. Our family and friends can not stop talking about how Delicious the food was and how on point with every detail the staff is (they are for sure on top of their game)!!! everyone at crystal plaza is absolutely a pleasure to be around. Eric, Nella, Leanne and Leslie are all absolutely TERRIFIC. All of my bridesmaids could not get over how great Leslie is. From the minute I came into crystal plaza to get ready I was catered to non-stop. not only did Leslie help me with every single detail. she helped my bridesmaids, groom, and parents. This place is hands down worth every penny. from the friendly phone service (Eric is a doll) to the most professional experienced wedding maitre' d (Nella is fab) to a bridal attendant who is there with you for all the help you need (Leslie is a doll) I would recommended this place to anyone who can afford it, and look forward to coming here again very soon.

I am writing this review as a bit of a response to the person who had nothing to eat at a Russian Style wedding. WOW!! We have attended MANY Russian style weddings and besides the word PHENOMENAL there is nothing to be said. Something fishy with that review - most people (we being Russian too) have attended several affairs at the Crystal Plaza before booking there - you must be really new to the country not to have attended a wedding there. I would assume when one books such an affair it is because the research was done. Second, you could've said that it wasn't what you expected it to be but to use the word hungry - that's a sin. There are hungry people out there. Third, my brother had his wedding there less than a year ago and words could not describe the abundance of food, the superb service, the amazing staff that made this day go as smoothly and comfortably as possible. You (whoever you are) are a great minority. If you are so upset about the HUNGRY guests - offer them a refund on the gift - that would be noble. Very Fishy! Also, this is not a Russian restaurant for you where you bring your liquor and take it home. Get with the program - not all restaurants are Russian Restaurants - you belong in that one and this seems way above you. Good luck and hope you have a great marriage and don't go hungry again.

Amazing, first-class, perfect, magical.... These words cannot even begin to describe our experience at Crystal Plaza. I am an event planner with very high standards, Crystal Plaza far exceeded my preconceived notions and most extravagant dreams.

THE STAFF
Leslie, Nella, Fred and the rest of the staff at Crystal Plaza are so attentive and professional. They are warm, affectionate and caring - even though they do this every weekend, they made us feel special and unique. When we arrived for pictures, they had food and champagne prepared for us. It was a warm day, so they had ice cold towels for my legs and a constant supply of cold drinks. My dress got a little dirty from walking in the grass, I was soo upset. They cleaned my dress in two minutes and made it look brand new. Every picture that we took, they were there to fix our hair, dresses and tuxes. The waiters were professional and kind. It seemed like they really cared about us and our guests. At every point, they were there with a smile on their face. At the end of the night, my feet were killing me. They gave me flip flops!

THE FOOD
The food and service were outstanding; it's comparable to a five-star restaurant. We have been to many weddings and nothing comes close to Crystal Plaza. When originally selecting food options, Fred gave us his recommendations and guided the process. Every promise that he made was fulfilled tenfold.

COCKTAIL HOUR! There were at least 10 different styles of ice sculptures; it was soo extravagant. There were entire bars made of ice - martini glasses, ice bowls, etc. The food was amazing. It seemed as though wherever you looked, people were eating different, exquisite dishes. There was so much food to select!

My husband is Russian and we wanted the food to be served Russian Style. This means that there is a constant supply of food, and plates are served family style. When we entered the hall, the tables were filled with the most exquisite appetizers. And, the food kept coming! During dinner waiters constantly walked around, serving our guests an endless supply of 5 different entrees. The steak, lamb, fish, chicken and lobster were out of this world amazing! Each dish made it to our table (we had a huge one), I took tiny bites of everything. A table of my guests were outside during this time, and as soon as they returned to their table, the waiters appeared from nowhere and immediately served them with hot food. The Venetian Hour was incredible. It felt like wherever you turned your head, there was another dessert. I cannot even list all the desserts, but I am sure everyone was able to find their favorites. It was the most amazing night.

THE VENUE & GROUNDS

The venue and gardens are beautiful. The gazebo and cobblestone walkway are extremely romantic. The hall has huge ceilings and a balcony with gorgeous chandeliers. Simply Spectacular!

My only regret is that the night went by so fast! I can't wait to make babies, so we can have their parties here!

When my sister got married at the Crystal Plaza back in 2006, I knew the second we started planning her wedding there, that one day, this is where I would be getting married. Sure enough, on August 13, 2011, my husband and I had the most amazing night of our lives, and we owe it to the staff at Crystal Plaza (and our parents!) Barry, Leslie, Rovin, Leanne, and Marcos were the most professional and extraordinary staff members you can find. From the moment we started planning, to the moment we walked out to the CANDY TRUCK at the end of the night, the day was magical.

We were planning on getting married outside in the beautiful garden. Everything was set up, pictures were taken, drinks were flowing, and almost all guests had arrived. Not until 5 minutes before our ceremony, we were told there were rain drops!! The crew at CP, not only made us feel completely at ease about this "situation", but they quickly transformed the room upstairs into the most magnificent ceremony setting you can imagine!

Leslie was on top of her game the moment we pulled up that day. My dress had a big train and as it was busseled correctly, it kept getting loose and guests were stepping on it on the dance floor. Leslie was able to use her magical powers (I swear she has them!) to fix it and make it perfect!

About a month and a half later, we still have friends talking about the food!! The cocktail hour was above and beyond anything we could have ever imagined. The ice sculptures were exquisite works of art! During the reception, there was never a lack of responsiveness from the staff, and everyone was so professional and helpful! The dinner food was incredible. My husband and I were not able to eat as much as we wanted (we were told this would happen...boo! because it was OUR wedding) but we were able to taste the mouth-watering entrees when they sent us home with one of each!! The veal chop was unbelievable!! And the dessert...trays of delicious donuts, fried oreos, and mini milkshakes passed out on the dance floor, along with two amazing creations at the tables kept all of our guests in continuous amazement.

The next morning, my husband and I woke up and said to each other that we wish the night lasted forever. Our wedding was more than we could ever have dreamed of! We cannot wait to be guests at another event at the Crystal Plaza to experience the moments again. If we could go back and do it all over again, we would not change a thing!! Amazing. Spectacular. Above and beyond. These are some of the words that come to mind when we think of the Crystal Plaza. The Crystal Plaza is where our wedding celebration took place on July 16, 2011. From planning our wedding to the execution of it, we had an overwhelmingly positive experience. It was 100% stress free.

We partnered with Fred to plan our celebration and he was a everything we could have hoped for and more! Marco was our maitre d’ and he was tremendous. Marco was organized, well prepared and anticipated every move. Marco partnered directly with all of our vendors to ensure everything went according to plan. We are so grateful to Marco for all that he did to make our day as special as it was and exactly as we planned it. Lesley and Rovin were our attendants and they were phenomenal. Their attentiveness exceeded our expectations and was second to none. Lesley and Rovin attended to our every need…if we were hot, they had cold towels to cool us down, if we needed a drink, another one appeared….all of this happened without us even having to ask. All of these individuals were able to help us create memories that we will cherish for our entire life. We can’t thank them enough.

One month later, our family and friends are still commenting on how amazing our wedding was…”This was the best wedding we’ve ever been to.” Our guests were amazed by the ambience of the mansion and the quality and quantity of food. Our cocktail hour and Viennese hour were truly amazing….you can’t even imagine how wonderful it was. We had (5) bars made of ice, individuals making homemade mozzarella, an olive oil bar, a raw seafood bar with clams, oysters, shrimp, crab claws and lobster tails (the lobster tails were taken out of the shell), individuals making homemade cannoli’s and zeppoles, and on, and on, and on. The quality of food was top notch and every attention to detail was looked after.

As one of our guests was leaving, he said to us, “This was like a Disney Wedding.” The Crystal Plaza was able to make our dreams become a reality. Special thanks to Fred, Marco, Nella, Lesley and Rovin.

I had my wedding at the Crsytal Plaza on July 15th and booking them was the best decision I could have made. From start to finish they were friendly, helpful, and professional. Our event could not have run any smoother and looked more beautiful. From start to finish they thought of everything. Our guests were enamored with the beauty of the ballroom, the delicious food at the cocktail hour which seemed endless, and the martini bar which was made out of ice and was never empty. Just the variety of food choices alone at the cocktail hour blew everyone away and the dessert hour was like nothing I have ever seen before. Our guests left telling us that after being at over 20 weddings that this was hands down the best. Nella took care of making sure everything ran smoothly and that my husband and I had everything we needed. Our assistant, Donna, was absolutely amazing! She thought of things before we even asked and even brought cold towels to cool us down on the dance floor. They even recently installed beautiful uplighting which gave the room a glow and just set the mood for our guests as they entered. If you want an unbelievable event, with unbelievable service, and the nicest most wonderful staff to work with book the Crystal Plaza. You won't regret your choice!

To any bride and groom who wish to have a memorable wedding reception:

We never thought it could be as amazing as it was. We first met with Barry who was professional, patient, and invaluably helpful with our preparations. On our wedding day we arrived to the mansion and it felt like it was all ours. We were welcomed by the staff who pampered us like royalty. Our maitre'd Nella personally made sure that we wanted for nothing throughout the whole reception. Rovin our butler made us feel like masters of the house, and served well throughout the night. Donna our assistant went far and beyond to make us comfortable and smiling all night. In essence the entire staff could not have been better. To this day our guests still compliment us for choosing such an incredable place, and in all honesty, we enjoyed our reception emensly, but we hope that someone we know has their reception at the Crystal Plaza just so we can experience it again as guests.

Perfect across the board!! Starting with Fred Fogg, our event coordinator, and ending with Nella and Leslie our wedding day managers, everything was fantastic. The entire process was stress free and easy. We didn't have to worry about a single thing. All the details were carefully planned out by the impeccable staff and there is not a single thing we would have changed about our entire wedding night.

Nothing about our night was cookie cutter. All of our guests were floored by the original cocktail hour (4 unique ice sculptures/bars), sushi of the highest caliber, and the amazing service. I truly can't say enough good things about the Crystal Plaza. From the very beginning to the very end, they have been such a pleasure to deal with! We got married there on June 10th and it completely beat our expectations by far. We knew it was a beautiful place with supposedly good service and good food but we didn't realize how incredible they really are. Barry, the banquet manager treated us with top notch professionalism. He got back to me in a flash with all our questions and gave us his undivided attention. Nella, our maitre'd was also amazing. She is so good at her job and very passionate about ensuring that the day is going to run smoothly. She was key in making it a special day and keeping us calm and relaxed at all times. She doesn't miss a thing. Leslie, the bridal assistant was also there every step of the night to be sure everyone had what they needed before they could even ask. Simply put, the Crystal Plaza knows how to do weddings the right way.
People are still telling me everyday how amazing our wedding was. The food was spectacular, the presentation beautiful and the service unbeatable. They went above and beyond and then above and beyond again and again.

The Crystal Plaza was an unbelievable place to get married!! We had an amazing experience and would not have changed a thing! The venue was absolutely perfect for outside pictures and for either an outside or inside ceremony. We were planning on having our ceremony outside yet it started raining an hour before the guests arrived. The staff were able to move everything inside smoothly and quickly and made it look just as beautiful inside. The food unbelievable!!! We had never seen so many stations at the cocktail hour ( which also tasted delicious) choosen from a list of options with anything we could ever image! Nella helped us with everything and was the absolute best!! She made sure everything ran smoothly and made sure that everything was perfect for me on that day! I felt so comfortable knowing she was there taking care of things so I could just enjoy the day! Marco was also extremely helpful this during the party and was great to work with! All In all our wedding in was truly a dream come true thanks to everyone at crystal plaza!!

The Crystal Plaza was absolutely beautiful!!!!!! We loved having our wedding there! Everthing was wonderful; from the attentiveness of the staff before the wedding, to all the details through the end of the night! Fred made us feel comfortable right away,as we made the major decision to book our wedding.. Leslie, our bridal attendant, was amazing! We just had our wedding reception at the Crystal Plaza and I wouldn't describe it as anything less than perfect! We were looking for a cocktail style wedding and upon our first meeting with Fred he knew exactly what we were looking for and that the Crystal Plaza loved throwing parties like that. They went beyond our expectations and we couldn't be happier. Friends and Family have done nothing but rave about how beautiful the venue was and how fabulous the food was and how unbelievable the service was. Nella and team were truly AMAZING. I've never been catered to in such a way in my entire life. From the holding of umbrellas outside in the rain, to the cold towel compresses when stepping off the dance floor, to the pinning of my bustle when it started to fall later into the night. Everything was just incredible!! I couldn't have imagined or asked for more. I would highly recommend the Crystal Plaza to anyone!! I can't thank them enough for everything!

It just doesn't get better than Crystal Plaza. The grounds, the food, and the service are all top-notch.

To start, the cocktail hour was absolutely spectacular - we didn't give much direction and, in turn, Crystal Plaza performed way above our expectations. Specialty martinis, an ice bar (that is, an entire bar made of ice!!), lamb chops, sushi -- I could go on and on. Suffice it to say that some of our friends were amazed that there was dinner served afterwards! The seated dinner was equally impressive -- truly, top restaurant-quality meals served to each guest. Our friends and family are still raving about the food and the service. They said that the servers were so attentive that each guest felt that they had their own butler for the length of the reception!

The staff took great care of me, my husband, and our bridal party from the moment we arrived until they sent us home with our belongings neatly packed (as well as a couple of doggie bags for late-night noshing!). My attendant, Donna, has the sweetest disposition and took care of my every need, from supplying food/drink, reapplying lip gloss, to bustling my dress. Our maitre d, Nedda, was superb. She is a real pro and firmly kept everything running smoothly, yet was supportive when I voiced my preferences as far as the day's events.

We are so happy we chose Crystal Plaza as the setting for our big day...and are hoping to be a guest at an event there in the near future! :)

I would recommend Crystal Plaza 100%. We had the most beautiful wedding in March of 2011. We had our ceremony take place in the ballroom in front of all of our guests and had a cocktail reception, which was GREAT! We had so much food, so many different stations, and had soup to nuts. The food was great, the service was great, the professionalism was outstanding. I can't thank Nella and Leslie enough for doing such a great job!! We felt like a King and Queen on our special day. Nella outdid herself that day and through the whole planning stage. The band we hired Opera 3000, was the greatest, and had people dancing all night long!! The room was absolutely stunning and couldn't ask for anything more. Thank you Crystal Plaza!

I got married here on March 12, 2011 and couldn't have imagined getting married anywhere else! Everything was PERFECT. From the food to the service, I couldn't have asked for more! Fred gave us everything we could have ever wanted and Nella and Lesley made my day perfect. Everyone kept commenting how calm I was the entire day and it was definitely because the staff- I had no worries and knew everything was under control. The entire staff was so accommodating and my guests are raving that it was the BEST wedding they have ever been to. I am SO HAPPY I got married at the Crystal Plaza. They truly made me feel like a princess!!!!

I recently had my wedding (both ceremony and reception) at Crystal Plaza and words can't describe how amazing and perfect the day was! It was literally a dream come true!! Family and friends can't keep talking about it being the best wedding they have ever been to BY FAR. The venue is gorgeous and the service is incredible... 1 waiter, 2 butlers to a table! And the food, to die for (which is rare at a wedding). I wasn't even interested in wedding cakes, yet they provided me with the most beautiful cake i have EVER seen.. i have the pictures to prove it!!! Jason, Nella, and Leslie made my cinderella wedding come to life... I owe them so much and can't thank them enough!!! I feel so lucky to have had such a perfect day and owe it all to the Crystal Plaza =)

Crystal Plaza threw us a truly spectacular affair. During the planning Fred gave us pretty much everything we wanted and provided his professional opinion when we needed it- such as how to balance out the cocktail hour station selections and when we were deciding between different entree accompaniments. He and the pastry chef Marco also worked with me to create a special groom's cake that my husband loved. They have even offered to make another one for us since he didn't get to try it that night!

Our guests all said they had never had such delicious food at a wedding before, and the amount of food was outrageous. (They even packed up a ton of extra food and sent it home with us. My parents, my in-laws, and my husband and I are still eating cookies, cupcakes, cake, short ribs, corned beef, dumplings... etc!) Our maitre'de, Jason took great care of us- directing the bridal party as well as his staff and made things run smoothly. My bridal attendant Leslie literally fed me- I never thought I would be one of those brides who doesn't eat! She reapplied my lipstick, bustled my dress, sprayed my hair back into place, sprayed static guard on my train and wrinkle releaser on my veil. She even patted us down with cool cloths when we (my family included) became sweaty from all the dancing. I had no idea I would need all those things but I certainly appreciated it. They brought all the food to our table so we could spend more time celebrating with our guests.

Crystal Plaza pulled out all the stops and provided us with the best service we could ever dream of on our wedding day and made us, our families, and our friends extremely happy. Thank you!

My husband I got married January 15, 2011 at The Crystal Plaza. We live in Miami, Florida and decided to give up the beautiful weather in January to have our wedding at the most beautiful venue. We fell in love from the moment we saw the place. The entrance and outside area are breathtaking. We loved the feeling of the inside and especially loved the staff. Allan and his team were beyond amazing and professional. They eliminated every stress a bride and groom may have. Our wedding was way beyond our expectations and anything we can ever dream of. The cocktail hour was a huge hit. I still have people contacting me telling me they have never in all of the weddings they have been to experienced a party like this. The food was delicious and we especially loved the sweet touch Allan surprised us with for dessert. All I had to do was mention I loved coconut cake and he made it his business to add mini coconut cakes to everyone's dessert platter. The service is the best I have ever seen I cannot find one thing wrong or that I would've changed. I would highly encourage any bride and groom looking at this venue to do it!!! It will be everything you want and more it was our fairytale wedding and we are so happy:)

It is difficult to put into words the unbelievable feelings that a wedding at the Crystal Plaza will leave you with. I knew that they had a reputation for being the best around, but my wedding day was beyond what I anticipated and expected. From our first meeting with Fred, the told us he would blow us away, and he went beyond our expectations. From what we were told the cocktail hour was unbelievable, we unfortunately missed it becasue we did not see each other prior to the ceremony so pictures and bustling my dress took up a lot of time. My wedding cake came out amazing, exactly like the picture that I provided them with.
The service provided from the time I arrived from the lovely woman, LeAnne at the coat check, to the waiter who took his suspenders off his body and gave them to my husband becasue his pants were too big, to Leslie, my attendant who was there to touch up my lipstick, blot my face, wipe us down with cold towels and and one point when my bustle came loose, behind me with needlenose pliers fixing my dress, and of course Nella, the Maitre D, who made sure the whole night ran flawlessly. The service was like nothing I have ever experienced. I really felt like I was treated like royalty or a celebrity for the day!
Overall, the experience, service, and reputation of the Crystal Plaza will amaze you and surpass all expectations. There was not one thing I had to worry about on my wedding day because of their knowledgable staff who will go above and beyond to make your wedding day spectacular. By far, choosing the Crystal Plaza was the best decision we could have made. I just hope I get invited to a wedding there soon so I can experience everything that they have to offer and enjoy it from a guest's perspective.

Crystal Plaza was unbelievable. We had a fairy tale wedding. The venue is stunning, both indoors and outdoors. The service is impeccable (if you have the opportunity to select your wedding attendant for the day, ask for Claudia. She has quickly become a legend in my family for how unbelievably well she took care of us that day). All our guests raved about the food. The wedding exceeded my wildest expectations.

We were working with a relatively short time frame, and Fred (the banquet director) helped us find a florist, photographer, and band. His choices were all perfect.

I cannot say enough great things about working with the Crystal Plaza- our experience-- and our guests' experience-- was AMAZING.

We had our wedding at The Crystal Plaza in October of 2010. A little time has passed since then and I must say myself, my family, and every last one of our guests is still to this day in absolute awe of the amazingness of this venue. People still tell us that our wedding at Crystal Plaza was the best they have ever been to, and that means a lot when you have a "Russian Style" wedding with mostly Russian guests as we did (they arent very easy to please). When Fred, Nella, and the team at Crystal Plaza set up our affair, all the stops were pulled out. Saying that they went above and beyond would be an undersatement. We even had many pleasant, unexpected suprises that we didnt know where part of our affair. The staff at Crystal Plaza really knows how to take care of their guests. From the food, to the service, to the beauty, and experience in managing a crazy day like that, I have to say I would never consider any venue that can come close to the way we were taken care of at The Crystal Plaza.

I am quite disappointed with one of the poor reviews here, particularly the Russian affair. If you would have brought the bottles yourself, take them home, thats fine. But I am sure you did not. The food, how you can say that the food was anything less than exceptional is beyond me. If you want buttery pelmeni go to Brighton Beach, but I am sure the Crystal Plaza can make that happen if you so desire. You perhaps need to re-read your contract. I can guarantee that many of the more common "Russian venues" would have a serious lesson to learn from the skill, quality and first class delivery of everything that the Crystal Plaza team can do. I can't imagine having another joyous occassion at any other place than The Crystal Plaza.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about my entire experience with the Crystal Plaza. To say they threw my dream wedding would be an understatement. The food was incredible, the staff was SO attentive and knew what I needed before I even asked for anything, the decorations were so beautiful that I didn't even need centerpieces. Our family and friends could not say enough about how much fun our reception was.

Everyone at the Crystal Plaza was AMAZING with helping me prepare for our wedding. Once the day came, they went above and beyond what I wanted from them to insure my husband and I had the best time. My guest are still raving about all the great food and service.

From the minute we first Barry a year before the wedding, until the last guest left the building, the Crystal Plaza and their employee’s did a perfect job! Barry always quickly responded to our million questions. We found him to be a trustworthy and honest person. At the day of the wedding, our maitre d was Jason, he was very helpful during the day. The entire staff was extremely attentive and they were very friendly. One of Jason’s assistants was Leslie, she was fantastic! Before the ceremony, she actually fed us! They made us feel like a king and queen. She helped bustle the wedding dress several times. Everyone thought the food was great! We would highly recommend the Crystal Plaza to anyone.

Words cannot describe how happy I am that I chose the Crystal Plaza! From the first day, Barry has been nothing but prefessional and caring. They made sure that everything went perfect. Nella was amazing and my butler even fed me fruit to make sure I wouldnt get messy. The crystal plaza is a top notch place and I will definitly have other functions there! I give them an A++++++++++++

The Crystal Plaza is by far the best wedding venue!! Their professionalism, service, and willingness to go above and beyond is exceptional. Fred and Allen were very accommodating and handled special requests and even added a few surprises the day of the wedding that made our event even better. They have an ability to make you feel so important and the attention to detail is immeasurable. Leslie, the bridal attendant went so far as to standing in mud to hold my gown up so it would not get ruined while outside taking photos. Nella was right there when I needed her without my asking specifically for something, she was already there with it, like she read my mind. At one point towards the end of the night, I was so hot from dancing, she immediately came over with a cold, wet cloth to cool me off! Aside from service, the food was absolutely amazing! So many of our guests were amazed at the quality and amount of food that they served. Everything was fresh and prepared with such an attention to detail. I could not have imagined nor expected the exceptional quality of service and great food that came with booking the Crystal Plaza. Look no further!!

There are no words to describe the wedding that the Crystal Plaza helped us throw. Our guests have never seen anything like that before and we can never say enough good things about the Crystal Plaza. The staff was UNBELIEVABLE. Fred and Nella were amazing to work with, they took our wedding dreams and made it a reality. They helped my wedding planning go along so smooth, I had NO stress thanks to them.

Absolutely amazing! Nella was our maitre'd and Leslie and Vinny assisted throughout the night. The whole night ran smoothly and was fabulous. The curls in my hair had fallen from the morning and Leslie redid my hair in the bridal suite! Two words TOP NOTCH the service as well as the food! I couldn't have asked for a better venue!

Crystal Plaza went above and beyond my expectations, which were very high to begin with. The staff is so experienced and professional, that I did not have to worry about a thing on my day. My maitre-d, Nella, was absolutely amazing the entire night. She always knew what I wanted without me even having to ask. She even brought cool towels to my husband and I when she saw we were getting hot dancing. She took care of everything the whole night, along with the many butlers that were there to assist us. I never had to ask anyone for a drink because it was always there before I finished. The cake, food, ice sculptures, ect. were perfect! All of our guests could not stop raving about the food and service. Highly recommend this venue to anyone that wants the perfect wedding!

The Crystal Plaza made the planning of my wedding a breeze. They were always there to answer questions and solve any problem that came up. Allan, the owner, took on the responsibility of being the point person for all of my other vendors, the minute we got there on the day of the wedding we were taken excellent care of. They had butlers/attendants following me (the bride), the groom, and our parents, to make sure everything was perfect, and it was. I would highly highly recommend them.

We loved every aspect of the Crystal Plaza, from the beautiful mansion to the impeccable service given during our wedding reception. Every dollar spent is worth it with their great food and service. They made it my dream wedding venue.

WHen I think about the beauty that was my wedding receptionI get tears in my eyes. Crystal Plaza was so amazing. I was married on 10/12/2008 and my guests still rave about it. The were so accomadating and generous with us. They made every moment of the day perfect. Whatever I asked for during the preparation, I received. I was completely amazed when I walked in and saw the tiny crystals I bought for around my centerpieces had all be hand placed Face up in a beautiful design. The details were all cared for. The dessert hour was unreal, 100s of desserts. I asked simply for a few of them be replaced with sugar free cakes for my diabetic guests. What I got was an entire table of choices for their dietairy needs! My husband was given a private stock of his favorite scotch to enjoy with his new father-in-law during the wedding and while enjoying the hand rolled cigars being made during the dessert hour. We wanted for nothing. Our private valets were on hand every moment to make sure we never had to do anything for ourselves. WE felt like a King and queen. The food was outrageous. It in no way tasted like catered food. IT was flavorful, unique and elegant. My guests had 6 different courses to choose from. The cocktail hour had more stations and food options than I have ever seen in my life. I have had brides come to me and tell me directly that I set the bar very high for them now that they are planning their own weddings. I would have my wedding there a 1000 times more!

The Crystal Plaza was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! Our wedding was top notch and they had everything planned for us perfect!! From lobster and sushi, mini milkshakes in shot glasses,a self service and a Apple Martini ice statue. Many of my guests truly and honestly said that have never seen a wedding quite like ours! The service, food, and overall ambiance was exceptional. You will pay more for this place as compared to other halls in NJ, but as they say you get what you pay for. It was money well worth spent.

I am having my wedding here and I just love this place, the chandeliers and the main room is so elegant and beautiful, I can't wait to get married, but I still have some time to go!!!

The Crystal Plaza is awesome. Premium Entertainment has the opportunity to perform there on occasion and when we do the staff is not only incredibly accommodating, they are hands-down the best at what they do. We welcome the opportunity to work at the Crystal Plaza whenever we can.

What a wonderful place to be a bride and celebrate your day, as photographers it is one of our favorite places to work in NJ!! They are so personable and they make you feel very special, they take care of you, and make sure you have everything you need at all times from a drink to where to be. And the place is beautiful the grounds and inside is like a castle! They truly make you feel special on your wedding day!!
