I cannot say enough good things about working with Caitie from the Dandelion Patch in Reston, Virginia. From the first appointment through the mailings, Caitie has been a true professional, excited to be part of my wedding and absolutely on schedule. When we began, I told Caitie that I loved the thicker papers and letterpress invitation style, but was a bit put off by the prices I was seeing. She immediately got creative and we actually picked a textured paper with a flat print that looked just as beautiful as a letterpress invitation (and was a fraction of the cost). After choosing the design, I commented that as my fiance's and my wedding was outdoors in a garden space I had thought some sort of earthy-touch to the wedding invitation would be pretty. Caitie immediately deployed to look for different materials to include twines, raffia to see what might look best with the invitation. We picked a twine and Caitie offered to hand tie every invitation (after installing the envelope liners) and picking up stamps for all of the internal envelopes. As a final touch, Caitie went to the post office with my invitations, had them weighed and purchased the appropriate stamps for the whole set. Truly, the professionalism and above-and-beyond attitude Caitie displayed through this process should leave no question that the Dandelion Patch is the way to go for invitations within any budget and style.

We did all of our wedding invitations at the Dandelion Patch M St location. Wizzie was so helpful in helping me design the perfect invitation at the right price point on a fairly tight schedule. I really wanted letterpress and she was able to assist us in designing a custom invite. We had one in-person meeting and did everything else over phone and email. She was very helpful.
Dandelion Patch also took care of addressing all of our envelopes (we did printing instead of hand calligraphy). There was a miscommunication and the addresses were not complete in time. I called the store to discuss and the staff stayed late on a Saturday night to print everything off for me so that everything could be in the mail Monday morning.
Dandelion Patch was lovely to work with and the invitations were gorgeous. I would definitely recommend working with them for your wedding...

Super responsive and helpful, with a wide selection. I had a Catholic/Jewish wedding and Lindsay picked out a previous program that she thought would be helpful for us, and it totally was! Otherwise I would have had no idea where to start. They were great, and we ended up doing everything (invitations, programs, menus, escort cards, etc.) through them.

We planned our wedding in three months, and Dandelion Patch was great to work with to ensure we got our invitations selected & out in time for the event. The staff was amazing to work with, providing guidance on selection of invitations and timelines. Even though we were late to meet dates Dandelion bent over backwards to produce everything on time. The invitation selection was amazing - everything to meet your personal style. Excellent staff and selection.

This review is for the Georgetown location. I ordered all of my invitations, menu cards, thank you cards, and calligraphy from the Dandelion Patch. I worked primarily with Jonathan, Allison, and Penelope, all of whom were absolutely fantastic. I found the invitation ordering process to be a bit overwhelming, and the Dandelion Patch group guided me through the whole process, including a variety of etiquette questions. They were very patients with me, particularly given my last minute additions to the calligraphy list. All of my invitations, cards, and calligraphy were beautiful, and I would use Dandelion Patch again for any invitation or announcement printing.

All of the staff at the Vienna location were excellent. They made sure that all of my wedding materials met our expectations. I will be using the Dandelion Patch for all future life events and recommend them to anyone who needs printed materials for any special occasion.

I used the Dandelion Patch in Vienna for all of my paper products (Save the Dates, invitations, thank you notes, menu cards, table seating cards, programs and monogrammed napkins). I can not say enough about how wonderful they made each step of the process. Although I worked primarily with Lindsay each person that I dealt with was extremely knowledgeable and professional. I had a general idea of what I wanted for each item and they took the few words that I used and helped me find perfect matches. The finished products were all stunning (particularly the invitations, programs and menu cards). They kept my name on file and called me when it was time to make the next appointment to pick out the next set of items. That was invaluable since it was one less thing I had to remember to call about! I will definitely use them again for any paper needs I have!

I used Dandelion Patch for my invitations, programs, and menu cards. They had a HUGE selection and their staff is very helpful, friendly, and responsive. I was a little overwhelmed during the beginning of the invitation selection process because there were so many options and so many books to look through, I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted, and I was thinking, "This seems like a huge decision, yet it's a piece of paper that everybody is going to throw away in the end." The staff was really great in calming my feelings of being overwhelmed and quickly helped me to narrow things down and figure out what look I was going for. They have a great variety and selection of unique vendors to choose from, and lots of different options and styles to fit exactly the look you are going for. (Variety of colors, fonts, papers, designs, layouts, etc.) Once I selected my invitations, I was able to go back and forth several times in terms of perfecting the layout, content, and design - They provided really great proofs via email. I ultimately ended up loving my invitations and was so glad I used Dandelion Patch.

We went to the Dandelion Patch in Leesburg, VA. We worked with Samantha and she was great. All of the invitations were great. We were very happy with the ones we choose. We were able to do a lot of communication via email, which was great. I was able to proof the invitations when I was out of town. Our invitations turned out great, the service was wonderful, and I would highly recommend them.

I went to the Dandelion Patch in Vienna, VA. My fiancé and I were living in New York planning our wedding in Washington, D.C. I was in town one weekend and popped in to see what The Dandelion Patch had to offer. I initially worked with Brooke who was great! She was very helpful and very patient while I poured through all the invitation books until I found a style I really loved. In fact, it was a pleasure to work with the entire staff. They were always readily available via email and phone so we were able to address all my questions and proof our invitations without any delay in our printing process. Our invitations turned out beautifully! We even used Dandelion Patch to print the addresses onto the envelopes. This was well worth the cost! We got a lot of compliments from guests about how lovely our invitations were. One of our guests even gave us a framed copy of the invitation for us to keep. Wonderful staff, wonderful service and wonderful selection. I highly recommend them!

After seeing the Dandelion Patch at various bridal shows and having my husband pick out the same design they displayed at each event, we decided that they were definitely the choice for us. It was really easy to set up an appointment with them and they offered help with the entire process of finalizing our invitations. They provided us with wonderful and efficient service as well as a great price for a high-quality product. We heard lots of good things about our invitations, so we knew we made the right choice!
GUEST

The Dandelion Patch is ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! We used them for save the dates, invitations, programs, name tags, separate invitations and even escort cards! They were amazing and we couldn't have asked for better service.
Everything was delivered in a timely manner and the calligraphers they use are so talented.
If you want personal, friendly and enthusiastic customer service, this is the vendor for you!

I was recently married and I used the Dandelion Patch in Vienna, VA for my Save the Dates, Wedding Invitations, Escort Cards, and Table Numbers. The staff at the Dandelion Patch was fantastic and were great in helping us to design our invitations. Everything was timely and really felt as though they were focused on us and our event. I would highly recommend The Dandelion Patch for other couples! Or anyone needing fabulous invitations for any event.

We arrived at the Dandelion Patch in Reston Town Center in a little bit of a panic with regard to our wedding stationery. However, working with Cory put us right at ease. She never tired showing my family and I TONS of examples, and let us think over several options, come back and make minor adjustments to help me make sure the stationery "fit" my overall vision for the wedding. Cory is an absolute EXPERT about everything wedding, and she offered lots of practical thoughts and advice that really helped my mom and I figure out what we wanted. She even put up with my crazy dad with a smile on her face! ;) Cory, and the staff at the Reston Dandelion Patch, are so kind and professional. The prices might be a bit high, but when you are planning a wedding, the old adage is true...you get what you pay for. And we feel totally happy with everything we did with the Dandelion Patch. And Cory, thank you soooo much...you were truly a God-send to me and a guiding light throughout the planning process.

The Dandelion Patch really helped ease my frustration, confusion, and overall fear of wedding invitations. This was the one detail about my wedding that made my stomach turn. So many choices, colors, ribbons, etc etc. The staff at The Dandelion Patch were extremely professional, patient, and so very helpful with me and my invitation search. They communicated excellently with me and my husband and were proficient! The Dandelion Patch made the invitation experience less scarey and our invitations were perfect for our event! We will use them in the future for other events and announcements!
GUEST

These folks were (are) amazing! I had a very specific look in mind and Caitie made it happen! They designed our invitations from scratch with us on a Sunday for about 2 hours and made my fiance actually care about letterpress! Seriously, he scared me with that one, LOL. I still love to just look at them because they were so beautifully done. In fact we having it framed along with our Jumping Broom.
I can't wait to go back for the next occasion!
GUEST

We worked with the Dandelion Patch in Vienna for our wedding invitations. We were immediately impressed by the knowledge of the staff.
At our scheduled appointment, we worked one-on-one with Penelope. She was very professional and helpful, listening to our thoughts and finding the right invitations choices for us. The best part of ordering from Dandelion Patch is that we were able to take care of the wording and proofing via email. We live just north of Philadelphia, but the wedding was in Alexandria. It was very helpful to not have to travel down to NOVA every time something related to the invitations had to be done.
Our invitations turned out GORGEOUS! We even used Dandelion Patch to print the addresses onto the envelopes. This is well worth the cost! We got a lot of compliments from guests about how lovely our invitations were. One of our guests even gave us a framed copy of the invitation for us to keep :)
GUEST

The Dandelion Patch has the best selection of elegant invitations in the D.C. area. I am so pleased with how ours turned out. What I love most about their store is that they have such a great selection of gifts, as well. My husband and I had no trouble finding a design that we both loved and we got so many compliments from our guests on how beautiful the invitations were.
GUEST

Our invitations and save the date cards were beautiful, well worth the cost. The Dandelion Patch made it easy.
GUEST

I purchased my invitations from the store in Reston and I could not be happier with the results. I walked in having absolutely NO idea what I wanted and a very helpful woman named Erica saved me. Throughout the ENTIRE process she was so helpful and friendly. Our invitations were gorgeous. I had a coworker make fun of me for spending so much effort on invitations, but when he received his he said 'wow, those are seriously beautiful'.
The people at Dandelion Patch are true professionals and you will not be unhappy with what you buy there. I wish I could give 6 stars!
GUEST

Everyone came and my wife and me loved how they designed it. It's the way my wife wanted it to be. Everything was nice, and the service very good. They were great and affordable and I'm so happy we chose them!
GUEST

The folks at the Dandelion Patch are fantastically helpful and wonderfully responsive. We had an idea for something untraditional and they quickly applied their expertise to our style and made the process of ordering and sending our invitations unbelievably easy. The prices were very reasonable to start with, but the value was magnified dramatically by their helpfulness. We went in once to make our selections and they're printing up our envelopes, assembling our enclosures and sending out our invitations all without the slightest delay or inconvenience. Could not be happier with the experience and very highly recommend the Dandelion Patch.
GUEST

We went to the Dandelion Patch on a recommendation from some friends, and were very happy we did! We explained that we wanted something a little quirky and not the standard classic invitation, and they went right to this one book of a particular designer, and pointed out a few invitations. We managed to pick out an invitation along with the final colors, layout, etc in under an hour - MUCH quicker than I'd ever anticipated. I'd highly recommend them to someone who has an idea of what they'd like, but aren't exactly sure, as they are really good at filling in the little gaps! :)
GUEST

I was reluctant to try the Dandelion Patch in fear that it would cost an arm and a leg. However, it was the best decision and I am so pleased we worked with them for our invitations. Great selection and reasonable pricing. Most importantly our invitations were amazing. Very helpful staff and very knowledgeable. We went to the Vienna location and I would recommend them to other brides and grooms.
GUEST

We worked with the Dandelion Patch in Reston. The people there were great - I had an image that I wanted printed out on the front of a card to be used as our Save the Date and they were completely accomodating. They had a huge variety of stationary and gave great advice as far as what companies I should look into for the asthetic I was going for. Their prices were very reasonable and they were extremely responsive with proofs.
GUEST

We went to The Dandelion Patch in Reston Town Center. I think we must have gone back five or six times, since we weren't sure exactly what we wanted, and had trouble deciding on the perfect design with so much to choose from. They were endlessly patient and helpful. Our invitations were exactly what we wanted, and we got so may compliments on all of the wedding stationary. We also came in far under budget or waht we expected to spend, for really incredible quality.
GUEST

such exquisite invitations. their customer service is excellent and they really take the time to work with what you want and do everything in their power to meet your needs. they were patient, professional, and so creative! their products are of the highest quality and although it may be on the pricier end, it's very much worth it!! highly recommended.

The Dandelion Patch is THE perfect place for any invitations you're looking for. They recently provided us with our wedding invitations, and they were absolutely gorgeous! They were printed promptly and helped make our day even more special!

This is another one- If I could rate a 10 I would! Nina & Nicole were just amazing people to work with.
Nina- if you could dream it, Nina would take that and make it better then you thought (and incorporate ms. post's ettitquete rules as well). She was not pushy and didn't make you do anything you didn't. She simply perfected your dream into a masterpiece! My invites, programs, table cards, place cards turned out to be stunning! She worked with you to get more for your money!! Nina gave you personal attention! I think i changed my mind many times, and for I think 2-3 hrs- Nina sat there and brainstormed with us. NEVER complaining that we have been there for so long. She was right there with us working and we shared so many laughs and smiles!
Nicole- The printer- AMAZING work! we had one slip up which was partly my fault, partly her fault- and low and behold she took ownership of it, redid it, and drove to my house to deliever it!!!! Talk about service! Nicole worked very hard to meet the deadlines, and met all with ease and poise.
If you work with Dandalion you will receive excellent service, top notch advise and just an overall pleasant experience!!
I don't recommend it- but when I was there, another bride and her mom came in, the bride said she needed 200 programs -- NEXT WEEK! Dandalion didn't complain or say no to her- they simply said OK- lets see what we can work with to create a beautiful program for next week!!!! I don't think you will/can find that anywhere else!!
LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I could not have been more pleased with the quality of the service and products at the Dandelion Patch. We met the owner at the Dulles Bridal Expo and immediately appreciated her low-key, no stress approach. We followed up at the store in Reston and the staff couldn't have been more helpful as we designed our own custom invitations in blue and green. Their printer is also extremely helpful and worked with us until all the details were just right. They never made me feel like I was being a bother as I fretted over details and everything arrived on time and in perfect condition. Their selection is incredible and if they don't have what you want, they will help you find it or make it. You can't do wrong with the Dandelion Patch!

I went to the Vienna location and had a wonderful experience. I poured through practically every book they had it seemed, but it was in large part because I wasn't sure exactly what I was looking for. They were extremely helpful in pointing me to invitations that were in my price range & along the lines of what I thought I was looking for. They also worked with me to help make the entire package within my price range. I ended up using a very small vendor that produced great quality invitations. My husband and I are both very happy with our end product and how smoothly everything went. They were also very patient with me (I think I went back there 3-4 times before finalizing my invitation selection).
I had them do the in-house printing for the envelope addressing, brunch invitations, and place cards. They did a wonderful job on all those items. They also were very timely. Everything was complete within the timeframes that they gave me. I also used them for ordering specialty place card holders for the rehearsal dinner, personalized napkins and stationary. Again, they were very helpful and I found great items that were exactly what I was looking for and in my price range.
I ordered engraved items from them for my bridesmaids' gifts. They use local engravers & companies that do great work. I still go to them and order items on a regular basis. I have always been very pleased with their customer service and intend to keep going to them when I am looking for that special gift or stationary products/invitations.

I simply cannot say enough about the quality, professionalism, and responsiveness that I experienced working with the Dandelion Patch. I was thrilled with my wedding invitations and matching stationary. Dandelion Patch also did the envelope addressing, created my wedding "rehearsal" BBQ invitations, and prepared my ceremony program. I plan to be a long time customer of this wonderful firm.

I worked with The Dandelion Patch at Reston Town Center for my daughter's wedding. They were amazing to work with. They have the best selection of invitations and they cover all price ranges.
We ordered all of the wedding stationery (invitations, place cards, programs, napkins) from them. The staff is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They offer many good suggestions and will guide through every step. The staff is very patient and will work with you to make sure that you get just what you want.
Their printing services are wonderful. Lucas is very good and very easy to work with. I had them print the inner and outer envelopes of the invitations and Lucas did an amazing job. I highly recommend this service.
The Dandelion Patch stands behind their work and they will go the extra mile to make sure that you are completely satisfied with your order. The staff is extemely helpful and polite. A great vendor to work with.
GUEST

I had the pleasure of working with Nina at the Vienna store. She was wonderful. She helped me find invitations within my budget that matched my Victorian wedding theme and colors. They were beautiful. I also had my envelopes addressed. What a beautiful job! Not only did the young lady do a perfect printing job, she also checked for proper etiquette in addressing the envelopes and she checked some of the addresses I provided her. This greatly reduced returned invitations. I would work with The Dandelion Patch again for any stationery needs.
GUEST

I ordered my wedding invitation with the Dandelion Patch, they were wonderful to work with... Mary helped me pick out all the little details that go into the invitation and was so much fun to work with. They also printed in house for me - the menu cards, programs and table numbers. They were able to mimic the look of my William Arthur inviations, down the the color, font and motif. I was very pleased with the end result and they were very flexible with some of my last minute requests and orders!
The best part is that since its also a gift shop you can take care of some your other shopping while there... I got my junior bridal party gifts there while I waited :)

I heart Dandelion Patch! They have a huge selection, are easy to work with - they are sooo helpful...I worked with Wendy, Joy. But others were very nice and helpful as well. I went here for my invites and programs. They helped with wording, color, ideas, etc. Would use them again, i highly recommend.

I used the Dandelion Patch for my invitations, programs and thank you cards. I fully admit that I always came to them in a bit of a time crunch, and they always managed to make my deadlines (without charging me an arm and a leg). They addressed all my invitations in house, and matched the font and ink color of the invitations. They turned my programs around in a week and also matched the font and ink color from the invitations. Now my thank you notes are in production, and they're keeping the theme going. The women there are wonderful to work with, they're extremely knowledgable and very helpful when it comes to invitation etiquitte. They are a pleasure to work with.
GUEST

I love this place because I felt overwhelmed but they helped me narrow down my choices. I was able to pick out some really fun, modern invitations that I loved within my budget. I also got my thank you notes, placecards, programs and bridesmaid gifts there.
GUEST

The Dandelion Patch was amazing in every way for providing all my paper needs for my wedding. From the rehearsal dinner and wedding invitations to the thank-you notes to the cocktail napkins and menus and placecards, everything came out perfect and the customer service was top-notch. The ladies at the Reston store were so patient with us and provided insightful and knowledgable ideas during the selection process. I would highly recommend The Dandelion Patch for all your paper needs and not just for your wedding, but all of life's celebrations!
GUEST

I used the Dandelion patch for my invites and they were extremely helpful! I was ordering invitations the very last week they could go out, and the sales associates worked to ensure they would be delivered to the store, rush, so I could get them out in time. They were also very patient when working with me to decide on my invitations. I would recommend this store.
GUEST

My invitations were beautiful! Lindsay was so helpful with the wording and proofing.
I got my bridesmaid's gifts here as well and they special ordered one that was not normally carried in stock.
The store is so cute and every time you go in, you see more things you want to buy.
GUEST

Great service. Loved our invitations. Simple but elegant. Quick turnaround.
GUEST

These women were wonderful in helping this overwhelmed bride pick an invitation from the many great designs they have to offer! They also offer "in-house" printing for anything needed to help save some money! I would (and have) recommend them!
GUEST

The Dandelion Patch's staff was very helpful with the invitation process. There are so many to look at that it can become overwhelming. The staff there really provided the invitations we were looking for within our price range. I would use them again for any kind of party. The selection of invitations is tremendous!
GUEST

The ladies at the Dandelion Patch were all sweetness and professionalism. They worked through every tiny detail of the invitation design, wording, lined envelopes, and response cards with us so that they would all turn out exactly how we wanted. They were extremely prompt with sending a proof and making corrections, and the entire order - which was flawless - came in in plenty of time for us to address them and send them out. We got comments on how lovely they were; I was personally thrilled when I saw the finished product for myself! I'm very glad that my brother and his wife referred us to them, and I will gladly do the same for many brides in the future.
GUEST

I worked closely with Brooke at the Dandelion Patch to get just the invitations I was looking for. Everyone I met with there was very helpful and worked with me to show me invitations within my budget. I expressed right away i wanted letterpress at an affordable price and they made sure not to show me high-end books (like Bella Figura), lest I fall in love with something I couldn't afford!
I ended up going with Spark, a great, small letterpress company, with great prices! Dandelion Patch was responsive throughout the Proof process and worked with the invitation company to get me names of fonts and Pantone Colors used in my...

Great place to peruse and order wedding invitations. Friendly staff and willing to work with us. Read up on everything and everything regarding wedding invitations which saved us time so i could straight to what i was looking for.
GUEST

The Dandelion Patch does a fabulous job! They might be a bit pricier than other invitation shops, but I can assure you, you will notice the difference in the quality! We went with a simple and classy William Arthur design and it was by far the nicest invitation I've ever seen. It is worth every penny to make a trip here, you won't regret it!
GUEST

We went to the Dandelion Patch after we received our invitations from our original vendor that were just awful. The Dandelion Patch worked with us to create the most goregous invitations and also designed our menus and place cards. They were very easy to work with and the personalized service was fantastic.
GUEST

I love this place. They have a huge selection and their employees really know the meaning of customer service. I never once felt rushed. I had one issue with my order and even though I was willing to let it slide....they didn't (and fixed it immediately).
GUEST

We ordered our invitations and response cards from Dandelion Patch in Reston Town Center after a friend of mine recommended the store due to her good experience with them. We were very happy with the customer service (we walked in one evening with no appointment, and while they were busy they helped us very much) and with the final product. When it came time for us to "proof" the copy, they called me and there were no concerns, particularly because they'd helped adjust the language I had picked before we sent it out to the printer. Surprisingly, this was one of the easiest things we had to take care of for our wedding, and we were very grateful for that!
GUEST

My invitations from Dandelion Patch were beautiful. I wanted a very traditional ecru invitation with black lettering. The initial appointment went quickly and without a hitch because they know their stock very well. If traditional is not what you are going for, they also have a wide range of unique and modern invitations. I also attended a wedding etiquette tea sponsored by The Dandelion Patch. It was very helpful and lots of fun.
GUEST

The Dandelion Patch helped me to design my wedding invitations and all the paper products for my wedding (program, itinerary, welcome note, etc.). The entire staff was knowledgeable and helpful -- always providing ideas and thoughts on how to make everything work together. I really appreciated their help and ended up with beautiful paper products for my wedding.
GUEST

I worked with the store in Georgetown. The staff was amazing! Very knowledgeable about the different invitation companies and all of the etiquette "rules" that go along with the wording, etc. Only reason I didn't give them 5 stars for value is because I think invitations are stupidly expensive. Can't say anything bad about the Dandelion patch though! They also provide you with some additional discounts that come in handy if you buy your invites there.
GUEST

I ordered our invitations at the Dandelion Patch in the Reston Town Center. Wow, what a selection! They had books and books of invitations to go through and the invitations were customizable with their color, font, and wording options. I found that I couldn't decide between 2 different invitations from one company and they let me combine the print of one design with the layout of another. So neat! I felt like I had a completely original invitation that I created and no one else would have. Which if you know how little artistic ability I have, was never something I ever thought I'd be able to say :) The invitations weren't cheap, but some of the online options I had looked at before heading to the Dandelion Patch were not much cheaper and I wasn't comfotable ordering something that I could feel and see in person. The staff here was so nice and helpful and after making a few minor changes to my proofs they were ordered and came in so quickly, I couldn't have been more pleased. Thank you!!
GUEST

We worked with Enisha at the Reston Dandelion Patch and our invitations were amazing. They were a huge hit with our family and friends and they came out right on budget.
Enisha worked with us to discover what we liked and didn't like then helped us navigate through their huge selection. She made sure we knew which designers were on sale and helped us get the most bang for our buck.
They're a little hard to get a hold of via email sometimes because they all share one inbox but if you give them a call there is always a friendly person to answer your call.
The time line they gave us was spot on and some things even came in early. We did our envelope printing in store and it came out perfect and helped us stay on budget.
Everyone who works here is extremely friendly and helpful. It was always pleasant to spend time in the shop.
GUEST

I loved our invitations and it was all made possible by The Dandelion Patch. The ladies who work here are all so helpful and thorough. My mom and I returned to the store three separate times to choose invitations. There are so many options, it's insane, but the employees are so patient and willing to help. They are very professional in their communication and respond quickly as well. I highly recommend this store and Enisha who helped us the most!
GUEST

Lindsay, the store manager in Vienna, is professional and easy to work with. We got endless compliments on our save-the-dates, invitations, cups and napkins. Their selection, while pricey, is GORGEOUS. They can custom make just about anything for you at Dandelion Patch. Not to mention--while you are there, check our their adorable gift selection! Great store, wonderful experience. If your budget has room to upgrade on paper products, this is the place to go.
GUEST

The Dandelion Patch did my invitations for my wedding. I received a lot of compliments on the invitations. They were a bit pricey but the quality was very good. We were able to review the proofs and make changes before it went to production. The workers there are amazing and very helpful. I had a lot of questions and they were always very responsive. I would recommend them to others.
GUEST

The Dandelion Patch is a great store to purchase stationary and other materials for your wedding, as we did. I found it to be a little expensive, but this is Vienna, VA we're talking about- so everything is a little expensive! I think what makes this store so special is the amount of time they will devote to you and how quickly they will respond to an e-mailed question. They were always kind and willing/ eager to please. I would absolutely recommend them.
GUEST

Everything was beautiful, such high quality. They will send as many samples as you would like to see at no charge. Both were beautiful and just what i was looking for. Highly recommended!
GUEST

Definitely shop around. Dandelion is not your least expensive option. The service is great, very responsive, we had a few mix ups which were quickly handled and solved professionally. We briefly shopped around, but had to make a quick decision, otherwise, we probably would have looked for lesser expensive invites.
GUEST

I fell in love with letterpress invitations but alas they were not within my budget. I told this to the ladies at Dandelion Patch at Reston Town Center and they introduced me to Tag Inc. Their invitations are beautiful and look much more expensive than they are. I was able to get the look I was going for without paying the high price for letterpress. Dandelion Patch has a great selection of brands and at all price points. The ordering process was very easy and the invitations came in exactly as ordered. I do know they offer addressing services but I did not use them. I also got my bridal shower invitations there...they offer a wide variety of invitations for all occasions. I have never had a go-to stationary store but the Dandelion Patch has become my go-to place for thank you cards and invitations.
GUEST

This was a very pleasant experience. Dandelion was one of the few places that let us take our time browsing the invitation books without pressuring us to make a decision. My mom did most of the communicating with the store once we purchased, and she was very happy with the responsiveness to her questions and the timeliness of those responses. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The prices are a bit high, but ordering only 50 invitations made it manageable for us. We went through 3 rounds of "proofs" before making a final decision. They were happy to let us do as many proofs as we wanted, to make sure we got the font, color, etc. exactly the way we wanted it. I would definitely recommend Dandelion Patch to anyone looking for a professional and reputable place for invitations.

Dandelion's Patch helped me with a last minute (and I mean, 2 weeks before my wedding) request to create menu cards, place cards, and table cards. They took the time to help me find the right wording, fonts, and other details. Everything turned out beautifully. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.
GUEST

The staff at Dandelion Patch was easy to work with and very helpful. I think I went back in 3 or 4 times before committing to buying the invitations I had been looking at and they were very patient. They were definitely on the pricey end, but I ended up loving my invitations and got several compliments. My only complaint/regret would be that they were not as knowledgeable about the specific vendor I used. When I asked questions, they couldn't answer them on the spot, they had to contact the vendor to ask and then get back to me. Overall, it was very easy to work with the Dandelion Patch and my invitations arrived exactly when they said they would.
GUEST

We ordered Wiley Valentine invitations from the Dandelion Patch. They came out beautifully and the staff at the Dandelion Patch were very helpful -- but the product was expensive!
GUEST

The Dandelion Patch is awesome! We not only ordered our invitations through them, they were able to recommend an awesome calligrapher, Jenny Muffler, Just Write Calligraphy and Engraving Studios (also awesome, see my review), and they do a bunch of in-house printing, too. We had them make our programs and they were absolutely beautiful. I plan to use them for all my invitation needs in the future!
GUEST

They did a great job on our invitations. They have a very large selection too. It was fun hanging out int he store browsing through the books of invitations
GUEST

The Dandelion Patch staff helped us pick out just the right sets of save-the-date cards, wedding invitations, and thank you notes for our wedding. There were no delays along the way and we were pleased with their support.
GUEST

I worked with Brooke at the Vienna location for our invitations and thank you cards. She was really easy to work with and knew so much about the products. When I told her what I was looking for she pulled down one of the sample books and found what I was describing. She was responsive with any follow up emails I had and I was so pleased with the results. I got a lot of compliments on them as well from guests.
While not the cheapest option out there I think it was worth paying a little extra for the quality and support from the staff. They are also a local business which I think is important to support.
I will continue to use them for gifts and other items as the store caters to many sorts of paper and small gift goods.
GUEST

Everything was pretty good in general. Everything came out really well. I would suggest working with either Katie or Lindsay. Lindsay really took care of us. But do prepare to pay for the quality.
GUEST

Penelope at the Georgetown location helped us choose the perfect invitations. We went through a few books of invitations with some sort of idea of what we wanted and kind of pieced together what we liked about the different elements of each one. Once she had an idea what we were looking for, she knew exactly what binder out of the 100's they have to pull out and show us that incorporated our kind of style and we found something that we both loved.
We ended up spending a lot more than originally planned on invitations, but they were beautiful and we got a lot of positive feedback on them.
GUEST

My wedding invitations were truly a labor of love, and Penelope at the Dandelion Patch could not have been better or easier to work with!!! She walked me through every step of the design process and even tied bowties around all of my 125 invitations!
I found the Dandelion Patch to be a little more expensive than other retailers, but they feature the best designers and they really go above and beyond to give you great customer service! They also sell the most adorable bridesmaid/groomsman gifts!
GUEST

We had a great experience with Penelope at the Georgetown Dandelion patch. We came in with a general idea of how we wanted our invitations to look (classic, with Woody Allen typeface) and she was able to deliver a personalized and affordable invitation that she basically designed for us. They were fantastic. We had a small snafu with the invitations being ready on the date we wanted them (they came 1 day later) and some mix up about the inclusion of envelope liner, but it was all resolved by Penelope within moments of raising the issue. I still shop at Dandelion patch for all of my paper needs, they were so great.
GUEST

We brought in special stationary to print our save-the-dates on, and the Dandelion Patch was able to print it quickly with the font we wanted. Very sweet people that work there.
GUEST

We got our invitations and menu cards at The Dandelion Patch. They were very sweet and easy to work with, and have an incredible selection of all things wedding! They're also very knowledgeable in terms of etiquette and style, so don't be afraid to ask questions. We were extremely happy with the way everything turned out and received lots of compliments from our guests. One bit of advice, you will be asked to approve the electronic proof that is emailed to you. Be sure to look this over VERY carefully. We found 5 spelling errors on the menu card proof, but they corrected them and they turned out beautifully. It's your responsibility to proofread, so don't take it lightly or rush through it. I was so happy with their products that I have since gone back and purchased several baby gifts there as well.

Everyone at the Dandelion Patch was extremely helpful. I really enjoyed working with them, and I would recommend them in the future.
GUEST

The Dandelion Patch was wonderful to work with, and the invitations came out great. They were also very helpful, and promptly replied to any e-mails we had with questions and concerns. They are a little pricey, and do tend to push you towards their more expensive invitations, but other than that we really have no complaints. Once we selected our invitations, everything else was perfect.
GUEST

There was some confusion the first time I went in because I asked to look at letterpress invitations and was shown non-letterpress invitations. When I called and went back the second time, they bent over backwards to find something that was exactly what I was looking for. I'm very happy with the finished product. We used a standard letterpress invitation and then added some additional embellishments to get exactly the look I wanted. I ordered personalized thank you notes from them as well.
GUEST

The Dandelion Patch has a great selection of invitations and we were helped by a woman who really knew what she was doing. They forget to alert us to the fact that our proof was in, then when we realized we hadn't heard from them and contacted them, found out they had lost it. They were very apologetic and worked quickly to make things right. But it added some stress. In the end, ven though we ended up a week behind schedule, the invitations turned out beautifully. Everyone of our guests commented on how they were the most beautiful invitations they had ever seen (they were gorgeous).
GUEST

BEAUTIFUL work and great store, but expensive!!
GUEST

We ordered our wedding invitations from the Dandelion Patch in Reston Town Center. They were easy and helpful. They walked us step by step through every word printed and had helpful suggestions when we couldn't decide. They worked directly with the printer to confirm all the changes and proofread our finals. The invitations came so quickly and the store had them packaged and waiting for us when we came to get them. They were definitely on the expensive end, but they looked beautiful and Dandelion Patch was easy to work with.
GUEST

I think the Dandelion Patch did a good job with the wedding invitations, the final product was excellent. The staff know their stuff. We had challenging wedding invitations because we wanted letterpress and we wanted the left inside panel to be in Italian and English and the right in a different language. We also wanted deckled edge invitations.
The staff at the Dandelion Patch had good suggestions and we came up with what we wanted. They helped find the type of paper lining we were looking for as well. They were resourceful.
The part that didn’t work as well was the getting the Italian language part down correctly. We had to go through more than one edit which required more time. What we gave them in Italian was not what we got back. Also, the two sides didn’t line up the same though it was set up to. I think this was the suppliers issue (William Arthur). All of this was resolved after a couple of attempts. Also, it was a bit frustrating how the person who you work with may be off for several days in a row and you would have to wait several days to get a response from that person due to that system. I believe that the person we worked with realized this and made a special effort to communicate with us even on her days off.
Would I go back to them again? I think so, but I’m not a 100% sure. They were not the only place I went to about invitations, but they seemed to be the most knowledgeable.
GUEST

The Dandelion Patch is a good store for what we wanted. I was not incredibly impressed - we made an appointment and it went well but they didnt give us the attention I think we should have gotten. I felt like they were busy and had plenty of business so ours was not special. The wording they suggested for our RSVP was also very confusing to our guests - since they are the experrts in wedding invitations we went along with their wording suggestion but then guests had to call to decipher the RSVP card. Its a good store and we were satisfied - but not impressed.
GUEST

Great selection - high quality and very nice staff.
GUEST

They have so many selection and styles on wedding stationary but look online if you are planning to do Save the Date magnets since their selections are very limited on save the dates. The quality of the paper is very good, and they deliver on time! The staff service varies depending on who will help. Couple of ladies have been extremly helpful, professiona, knowledgable and courteous, providing so many wonderful tips and wisdom. But sometimes you will barely get greeting when you walk in, especially when it's really busy on Saturday mornings.
GUEST

My invitations were absolutely gorgeous and turn around time was very quick. The salesperson was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The only complaint I had is that everytime I went to the store after I had ordered my invitations- to pick up, or drop of my address list, or buy other things like thank you notes, guest book, etc. the service was very slow. They have a lot of brides and their focus is usually on getting those orders taken care of so be prepared to wait at the cash register a long time.
GUEST

They do a great job, but the prices are rediculous.
GUEST

We didn't know what we wanted when we got there and after looking at bookshelves packed tight with binders full of options, we were a bit overwhelmed. It took a lot of time to figure out what we liked and what was in our price range. Perhaps their sales team can come up with a short questionaire to help fit people to the proper style and budget they are after. Once we found what we liked, the sales girls were very helpful and patient while we made changes to the text. The overall product was beautiful and we were very happy with our invitations.

While the ladies at Dandelion Patch were lovely, and we got good results in the end, it was sort of like pulling teeth trying to get there. They were often unresponsive, slow, and the multiple locations proved tricky. Albeit, they were very flexible with us, and allowed us to see multiple proofs before we sent in the final order. Also, in the end, they shortchanged us 8 or 10 invitations and we had to make yet another trip to their Georgetown store to get them, and sent those out a few days late. Like I said, we were happy with the end result, and the invitations are good quality, it was a rough road getting there.
GUEST

Thanks for the invitations very good job. They lookedf beauiful
GUEST

I was excited to visit this adorable little shop for my wedding invites but I was very disappointed that only two invitations I picked out actually worked with my budget. While all of the invites are gorgeous, for the budget conscious bride, you cannot find a selection for 125 invites for less than $500. I have comparison shopped at other stationers and online before going to this store, and was really disappointed that I couldn't find anything in my price range--where I have at other shops. The pricing is not listed in the book (as it is in other shops) and inevitably I loved invitations that were out of my price range. While the staff are wonderful and the store is adorable, if you have a tight budget for invites, unfortunately this is not an option for you.
GUEST

way overpriced -- looked like something i easily could have ordered online.

I guess it was my own fault for buying invitations in Georgetown but these cost me a FORTUNE. I have to say that the end result was great and I received many compliments on them but I nearly needed to take out a loan just to pay for them. I was incredibly disappointed in my customer service experience. Although professional and responsive, I was CONSTANTLY being persuaded to spend more money. Haven't I spent enough?? There was miscommunication on their part as to when the invitations were going to arrive and it was a painful process to get them when I had originally expected them. And I was told it would be $10 for a proof.. an online proof (not an actual one to hold) which shocked me. And then when the writing on the first proof was clearly off-centered, they charged us again for another proof. I understand that the store is told by the production company what to charge, but I feel that it is outrageous to even have the nerve to ask for a second 10 dollars. This was definitely the most stressful part of my wedding planning.

I got my escort cards, programs, donor cards and table numbers from the dandelion patch. I honestly do not know how this place has the good reviews that it does. My experience started off just fine, but then quickly became a nightmare. I should have known from the proofing process to go elsewhere (they spelled my name wrong on the proof).
When my mother and i went to retrieve the finished product from the store on the Tuesday before my wedding, every single item was wrong. We asked for white ribbon and it was black, we asked for all charcoal text, and it was black. Their lack of attention to detail was staggering. I was relieved that I decided to check everything before leaving because they seemed content to hand me the bag and send me on my way.
I don't understand why the store didn't check their final product against what was clearly written down on the sheet with the design. The woman who took down what i wanted wrote everything correctly, but the printer got everything backwards.
In the end, we didnt get our final paper products until Friday afternoon about an hour before my rehearsal which actually made me late to the rehearsal. I found the whole experience to be incredibly furstrating, upsetting and shocking.
