I recently hired The Dream Factory to create my Save The Dates for our wedding. I wasn't really into wasting trees to send out a save the date when my guests were just going to get a regular invite in a few months, but I still needed to send a save the date. I ran accross The Dream Factory on Theknot.com and was so impressed with the cool slideshows they make. They just started doing Save the dates and I was like: SOLD!! I sent them a few pictures and a song (it will be the song I walk down the isle too - but no one knows that yet!!) and they made the COOLEST Save the date! It's about a minute long and it is so elegant and sweet. They upload the Online Save the date to a website and give me the link to email to all of my guests. IT is NOT CHEESY! I was worried it might be weird, or people might not open it or whatever.. but everyone i talked to about LOVE IT and thought it was so clever. It said the basic info: Julia and greg and getting married, blah blah blah.. formal invitation to follow. Really nice. And it was cheap too because I am having a HUGE wedding so to spend 2 bucks a card plus postage on 200 guests was INSANE to me.. so 225 for the job was a no brainer! I love it! Thank you!
I LOVE Sarah! She created the COOLEST slideshow ever for our reception! It was so good. I had a really cool space I was getting married in and I wanted to do things a little different, so during dinner I showed a slideshow of how me and my husband met and fell in love. It had baby pictures, high school pics (yikes!) and it was a way to honor my grandpa who had passed away by having some pictures of him in there too.. it was sooo sweet. Sarah did an amazing job. All i had to do was put the pictures in the order I wanted them, hand her a CD with the songs I wanted and POOF- she made this incredible movie! She made pictures 3-D!! The music fit perfectly to the pictures, I dont know how she did that! It was so cool! I cant wait to get our wedding pics back so I can have her make a wedding slideshow - I am going to send them out on DVD as a thank you card!! Thanks Sarah!
When I initially watched my slideshow, my heart swelled with emotion. I work in the entertainment industry and not only was I incredibly impressed with the quality of the photos, video, background, graphics and movement, but each image seemed to dance to the beat of my favorite music. I will enjoy watching my DVD for years to come.
