My fiance and I think these guys rock! Not only were they attentive and professional, they were so funny and flexible during our special day. Our pictures were SO amazing! We couldn't have been more pleased. They have a unique eye for capturing brilliant photos and I'm so glad they had our day open. If you're tired of looking through portfolio after portfolio of the same kind of photos and want something fresh and original, you need these guys!
We actually met these guys twice. Both times were disappointing. Super friendly guys, but they just turned out to be so scatterbrained and unprepared that it made me decide not to hire them. The first time we met with the Columbus OH brother, and he brought nothing as far as work to show, information for us to take home, etc. All he had was a backpack and his iPod. ooookay. The second time we met, it was to meet the second brother who had just moved from Columbus, IN. My fiance and I sat and waited in the coffee shop for about 20 minutes past the time we had agreed upon. We gave up and left, but we were about to open the doors on our car when they came running out the door to catch us. They explained that they had just gotten off of work, and they'd forgotten to bring my number to let me know. We decided to hear them out, and we chatted some more. I mean, they have beautiful work - it's just that this is my wedding we were talking about, and I didn't feel cared about enough in regards to their preparedness or professionalism.

The Ely Brothers were wonderful photographers. Before the wedding, they listened very carefully to our vision and we felt confident that they would do a great job. At the wedding, they were everywhere!! They got amazing pictures of everything and took so many shots I wanted but didn't think of! They have a great artistic flair and the pictures tell a story. They had an awesome website full of pictures and were a lot cheaper than a lot of the other photographers we talked to. They were VERY friendly and we were getting a lot for our money. Our package came with an album and pics and the cd with all the rights to the photos. They had a photojournalistic style and were offering 10 hours of coverage and 2 photographers. We couldn't be more excited to work with them. They have great personalities and very easy to talk to.
